Uraraka had been dealing with the same person for over week. It started small they had been someone from a different class that wanted to get to know and she was up for having new friends but then they started asking about a date. She tried nicely saying no but they stayed persistent then the calls came. Uraraka had given them her number when they started hanging out but she didn't think they'd do this! At that point it was just easier to let Y/N have a good time in messing with them then it was for Uraraka to keep trying get them to realize she truly was not interested plus it would give everyone give laugh!

hi hi hello dear!!! oof okay okay well for me i do a lot of speculating based on fic and like. i'll write different things depending on what i want to do with a story, BUT here are my thoughts on what may have happened in canon:

first, the basics/what we know based on character stories - kaeya's vision story (x) is long as hell but worth a refresher read, cause it talks about kaeya's internal struggle between his duty to khaenri'ah and his loyalty to diluc and crepus, and how crepus' death upset the balance. while it doesn't explicitly state a resolution to his struggle, it does go on to talk about how guilt consumed him over the fact that he didn't share in crepus' final moments nor in diluc's grieving - he'd instead stayed back, reminded of 'that ancient plot' (which i think we can safely assume to mean his supposed purpose in mondstadt, in service of khaenri'ah)

the vision story goes into the bare bones version of what happened that night - kaeya admitted the truth of who he was, he expected diluc's anger, diluc and kaeya crossed blades only for a rush of elemental power to overcome kaeya as he received his vision

what i find particularly interesting here is this line about kaeya receiving his vision: "But now, for the first time ever, he was facing his brother as his true self."

vision lore speculation incoming, because i think that it helps us better understand kaeya's situation

we've since learned (thanks inazuma) that a vision responds to (and is inextricably tied to) a person's ambition - i know i've talked before about theories with regards to why certain people receive certain elements, since i believe (someone correct me if i'm wrong) we know now for certain that visions are handed out by the archon of that element

i've speculated in the past that the motivator for a cryo vision was the fear of losing someone or something dear to them (this works well for a few chars: kaeya - diluc, diona - her father, qiqi - her life) but starts to get a little forced if it's applied to other cryo chars

but with a bigger pool of chars and a canon explanation for why one might receive a cryo vision, i think my revised assessment works better: the ambition that a cryo vision responds to is a relinquishing of a past self in pursuit of one's true self. or, perhaps a less optimistic take, the relinquishing of a fantasy life for a more complex but truer one

ganyu, setting aside her life as solely qilin and accepting both halves of herself when she took up her position among the liyue qixing. rosaria, choosing to fight for her life against those who would use and control her. eula, setting down her learned grievances in pursuit of a life and a 'vengeance' that felt right to her. chongyun's persistent desire to become a true exorcist. ayaka's acceptance of her leadership role and diligence in her study of skills (that did not come naturally to her) in order to represent her clan. diona's eschewing of her childish desire for her father to be the man she wanted him to be in favor of attempting to accept her father for who he is (she offers to mix him a drink once she knows that he's safe). for qiqi i think it could easily be taken in a literal sense - her past life ended, a new, more complicated one began

for kaeya, his vision story says it all: he gave up his idyllic life of a pretty lie in favor of being honest with diluc in who he truly is, even though that only makes his life more complicated. as was stated in his story, he feels "he must live the rest of his life under the heavy burden of lies"

[unrelated kaeya aside: in his story 2, it says "On the contrary, he actually enjoys putting people into the difficult position of making tough decisions." perhaps you're projecting a bit there, hm kaeya?]

ANYWAY all of this was basically to say that i think kaeya admitted the truth of who he was and why he was in mond, and 'expected diluc's anger' because he'd kept it secret this the whole time. had lived a whole life growing up with diluc and chose to stay silent. and diluc just lost his father for fuck's sake lmao so he's definitely emotionally overwhelmed

bc in kaeya's character story 5, he and diluc are described as "knowing each other's thoughts and intentions without a word", which says to me that they...basically told each other everything? knew each other too well, but kaeya had still chosen to hide this from diluc. of course diluc would feel betrayed, and of course kaeya would expect him to - he knows him well, after all

but he saw this fight as his punishment, or perhaps losing diluc as his punishment, or (if you want to be especially grim about it) maybe even losing his own life as a punishment for his secrecy - ultimately, though, i can't quite bring myself to believe that diluc cares necessarily about kaeya's actual ancestry (or like...even his supposed duty to khaenri'ah), more just...that he hid this from diluc

and i think that kaeya receiving his cryo vision, the perfect combatant to diluc's fire (well, sort of lmao) wasn't necessarily what stopped their fight - i think it gave diluc the chance to step back and breathe and see kaeya for a moment, outside of his own anger and hurt, and recognize that he didn't want to fight. he just didn't want to like. process his emotions either lmao (diluc bb u have some issues)

and so kaeya left, burdened with this vision (he describes it as the 'stern reminder' that he must live a life of lies), and he and diluc never really...figured their shit out. diluc ran away, kaeya learned to live without him

and kaeya, to me, seems to have developed that mindset of like...'diluc is exactly as he was that night and has not changed'. ie he seems to act as though diluc is still secretly angry with him, in spite of the evidence that shows that...well, he's probably still not processing those emotions BUT it does show that he cares still, somewhere in there (in his vision story, it says "He did not discuss the past. But he did not deny his past, either." and i wonder if he has his ways of showing that he did care, and probably still does - like the vase, like his continued choice to remain in kaeya's presence when there seems to be no need in the 'a child's secret' quest)

Jealous Ranmaru Headcanons

Before being in a relationship, Ranmaru wouldn’t see himself as a jealous person. However, he’d find himself feeling self conscious or jealous when he sees you getting along with someone else.

Ranmaru feels embarrassed when he realizes he’s jealous, brushing off his feelings and going about his day. Seeing you smile and laugh with another person makes him happy yet upset at the same time.

Whenever he feels jealous, Ranmaru attempts to cover it up but accidentally gives you hints throughout the day. An example of this is when you started hanging out with Joe.

I can imagine him sulking a bit, avoiding eye contact with you and his face deep in thought throughout the day.

It wasn’t intentional, but you began to hang out with Joe more often. Of course, you’d still see Ranmaru but you found yourself in Joe’s antics alongside Sara and Ryoko.

Not like he didn’t before, but he’d stare at you more during class. His chest aches a bit whenever Joe or Sara approached you, happily chatting and laughing.

Sometimes, he’ll walk over to you and make up an excuse to have your attention. Something like “The teacher wants us to bring these to the office.” or “Can you help me with something?”. (What a dork lol)

Ranmaru does this often subconsciously, asking him about it makes him blush and refute the question.

“I notice you always ask for my help whenever I talk to Joe, are you okay?”

“—?! Um, of course I am… Anyways, can you put that box over here?”

While walking home, Ranmaru would walk a little bit closer to you, sometimes bumping his shoulder into yours. He’ll also initiate hand holding, interlocking your fingers with his and gently squeezing it for reassurance.

He’d be quiet on the way home, which is normal but it was obvious something was on his mind. He’ll act stubborn if you ask him about it, adamantly telling you nothing’s wrong.

“I’m telling you, n-nothing’s wrong.”

I forgot to mention he’s really bad at bluffing, which is really cute. Sometimes it’s hard to convince him, but remember to give him more attention than usual! (Physical attention is his favorite, which are usually kisses on his face, your hands running through his hair, and hugs)

If you express your concern to Sara and Joe, they’ll try to help you.

Joe tried to help by making some weird excuse to exit the conversation, shifting his eyes to Ranmaru once in a while and happily waving goodbye.

“Oh! Sorry, Y/N, but I forgot I had to feed my cat!”

“Joe, we’re at school.”

“I’m talking about the principal’s cat, obviously! Anyways, I’ll be right back!”

Sara will go talk to Ranmaru, knowing she’s good friends with him.

“So, what do you think of Joe?”

“? Why would you ask that? He’s a nice guy, but I don’t hang out with him often.”

“Hm… Well, Y/N hangs out with us nowadays, you should join us sometime!”

“D-Do you have some ulterior motive…?”

You can’t let Ranmaru sulk forever, so one day you decide to confront him once and for all.

You two were in the classroom, the day had ended and everyone was eager to go home. You said goodbye to Joe, Sara, and Ryoko, going your separate ways and finding Ranmaru at the front of the school waiting for you.

“You left the classroom so quickly, if you’re in a rush you can leave without me.”

“I’m not doing anything tonight, I just wanted to get fresh air..”

You stared at him, his expression showed something was bothering him and you wanted to fix it.

“You’re staring…” Ranmaru blushed, looking to the side.

You grabbed both of Ranmaru’s hands, softly squeezing them and looking up at him.

“I know something’s been bothering you. I won’t judge no matter what it is, please, talk to me.”

Ranmaru’s face flushed pink, his palms sweaty and taken aback by your seriousness. He didn’t know what to say.

“Are you jealous about Joe? I didn’t mean to ignore you, I’m sorry…” Ranmaru went stiff when he heard Joe’s name.

You were absolutely right, and all of that jealously was whisked away when he pulled you into a hug.

You and Ranmaru stayed like that for a while, feelings his body soften against yours and plant his face in between your neck.

“I’m sorry I was acting weird…” he muttered.

“And I’m sorry for ignoring you, I care about you, Ranmaru.”

He groaned in embarrassment, pulling away and taking your hand.

“W-We should go home before the sun sets.” Ranmaru turned in the other direction, pulling you along and exiting the school grounds.

You laughed to yourself. Thinking it’s cute whenever Ranmaru is embarrassed. You caught up to his pace, noticing he’s a bit more talkative and is giving you a soft smile whenever he looks at you.

Things returned back to normal, you now remembering to reassure Ranmaru any chance you got.

When you first started working for Flaco, you assumed he was a man with his walls high up, who wasn't fond of strangers, or unnecessary conversations.

He was blunt and straight forward with you, giving you your job, followed by your pay. Once the conversation was over, you'd be on your way; Flaco would never suggest that you warm up by the fire, or ask how you're feeling, etc. That's just how he was.

For many reasons, you continued to work for him. You're not bothered by the snow, and Flaco pays well, probably because few people want to trek up the mountains to do his dirty work.

But he's also... well, you know exactly how you feel about this man, despite his blunt responses and lack of interest in you.

Part of you thinks you'll be able to wear him down over time, slowly drawing out his personality, and hopefully something more. And if not? then at least you tried.

On the odd occasion, the rest of his gang will be camping beside his cabin. They seem to come and go as they please, probably being sent on missions by their boss, or trailing off to do their own dirty work.

The first time you ever met them, they pointed their guns at you and ordered you to state your business. They didn't believe that you were just here to work for Flaco, but he soon came out of his cabin, overhearing the commotion, and assured them that you're "a friend."

Flaco apologized for his men's behaviour, and they apologized to you directly the next time they saw you.

But the fact that Flaco called you his friend gave you high hopes, and motivated you to continue working at his outer layers.

Weeks continued to pass by. Flaco didn't seem very different, but his men had taken the time to get to know you, inviting you for a drink around the campfire, and sometimes even joining you on missions.

They nicknamed you 'pequeña lobita ', meaning 'little wolf,' as you're not quite a Del Lobo, but you're affiliated with them.

But one night, after a few too many drinks around the campfire, one of the gang members slipped up and told you the other reason why they call you pequeña lobita.

You've noticed how Flaco calls himself 'the wolf', and it must be a nickname that his gang members also call him; you're called little wolf, because he's the big wolf.

They tell you about how Flaco's secretly swoons over you; you obviously don't believe it, but the more they explain, the more you realize how true it is.

Flaco's closed himself off to you for many reasons: he's worried about making a fool of himself and messing up his chances, he thinks you won't go for an 'old man' like him, he doesn't want to waste your time, and so on.

They've teased Flaco before, making passing comments about how often you visit him, to which he brushes them off and barks at them to "mind your goddamn business!"

His gang continue being honest, saying that they've placed bets on how long it'll be until one of you finally bursts the bubble. They refuse to tell you how long they've all estimated, for obvious reasons, but you go to sleep that night deciding that you'll do something about it.

The next day, Flaco has work for you, and you instantly pick up on the signs of tension that you were too naive to miss: he's awkward, extremely awkward, his eyes refuse to meet yours, and he constantly fiddles with that same stick that he's been whittling for months.

Now that you're aware of Flaco's secret feelings, you feel yourself become just as awkward, struggling to speak and refusing to look directly at him.

"Are you okay?" Flaco suddenly asks, his eyes meeting yours for what could possibly be the first time ever.

You shrug him off, saying that you're just a little tired; Flaco doesn't take the bait, and rises from his chair, standing far-too-close to you, his eyes peering down at you.

There's a moment of silence as Flaco studies you, and he finally opens his mouth to say "my men always seem to forget how loud they get whenever they drink, eh?"

All the colour drains from your face, realizing what Flaco is indirectly talking about. "And it seems you can be pretty loud too, huh?"

You're lost for words, stuttering and sweating, a flustered mess. Flaco can't help but softly laugh at the sight, and you realize that this is the first ever time you've heard him laugh, and the first time you've seen him smile.

"I think you know what I'm specifically talking about," Flaco states with a chuckle, and you shyly nod along.

He lets out a soft sigh, and apologizes for a list of things: how foolish he was for not making his feelings known, how he didn't mean to play you about, how he should have done so many things differently.

But his words are cut short when you reach out to place your hand on his, giving him a soft squeeze, and reassure him that you're not mad - you're far from mad, you're glad that this has finally happened.

"Your job today is to let me get to know you, that is... uh... if you want," Flaco offers, and genuinely seems surprised when you lead him over to his bed, both of you getting comfortable, and finally having a proper conversation with each other.

Flaco confesses many things: the amount of men he's killed, what his exact bounty is worth, how long he's been on the run for, and so on. But the one thing he'll never confess is that he's the one who nicknamed you pequeña lobita .

He was drinking with his men one night, when they decided to question who you exactly are. Flaco let his personal nickname slip, and the teasing instantly began, to which Flaco scurried off, muttering about how he'll never drink with them ever again.
