“It is with the reading of books the same as with looking at pictures; one must, without doubt, without hesitations, with assurance, admire what is beautiful.”

A Study Routine With a Study Buddy Online
Some of you might have gotten on zoom calls or other platforms with people to do quiet work together and that has been a game-changer for me personally. Especially when I feel very unmotivated.
Having a study routine with a study buddy/buddies can be really helpful if you want to be held accountable for how you spend your day. These can be great to make routines for exercise, meals and self-care too! The pandemic and lockdowns haven't made school easy so don't beat yourself up if you mess up. Just keep trying!

february 14, 2022 | day 5 of 100 days of productivity
ap lang homework + a self care night to recharge: i’ve been having a rough time lately with my mental health and with burnout, and i needed to have some “me time” in order to recharge a little.
i’m grateful today for all the lovely people in my inbox/messages for the past few days, especially @tumbly-blur and @randomstudyblr- thank you both for the kindness you’ve given me! i love each and every one of you on this little corner of studyblr. 🤍

200127 - Monday, 9:15pm, 9:23pm.
what the studyblr wants to look like VS. what the studyblr actually looks like.
i had a lot to do tonight! my psychology teacher, once again, gave the class an essay at 3pm today that's due for 11am tomorrow, and two spanish essays which didn't get done, but i made progress on them and that's what matters.
i wanted to show the difference between what studyblr normally shows, and reality; what studying actually looks like for me. it's messy, chaotic, and there's usually sheets all over the table - but that's what seems to work!
now listening to: the kids from yesterday by my chemical romance

Completed the monumentous task of cleaning & organising my desk. I’m low-key proud of this photo tbh. It doesn’t measure up to the standards of larger studyblrs, but it’s pretty good for a first time!

I had put this book on hold to work on some projects but I’ve come back to it! It’s too hot to curl up with a blanket so I’ve been reading on my desk and enjoying iced tea and the occasional cookie.

Honestly, this book is difficult, for me, to read hence I’m writing notes as I work through it. While reading, I use this website to provide ambience! The sounds of the fire crackling and pages rustling makes me feel very…cool so I highly recommend listening to similar tunes while reading ♡

Here's an old picture of a castle and a new picture of tea! I spent the day translating French songs and stories to English. It was a fun activity and it helped me broaden my French vocabulary. Later, I worked on a project and watched a documentary on tea!
Good luck with all your goals! You got this ♡

Do you prefer in-person or online classes? I've gotten used to attending classes with fuzzy socks and a warm drink nearby so I can't help but miss the flexibility of online classes! Nevertheless, I’m extremely thankful for my in-person classes and the chance to sit in pretty lecture halls :)
