Brine and Jewel (@asktheminecraftians) had gone to visit Hex, but he was nowhere to be found at his house. This was strange, but when no one answered, they figured something must have happened. On a small search for the vex, they managed to see what seemed to a treehouse in a snowy taiga.

Brine and Jewel climbed to the spot where it stood, and sure enough, there was their friend. "Hex, there you are," Brine spoke, hopefully not scaring the vex too much.

Jewel then responded, "We were worried for you. We came to bring you some gifts, but you were not home. We brought some things for you!"

Should Hex choose to accept what was in Brine and Jewel's hands, he would receive a small basket of blueberry muffins from the shorter Demi-Deity, and a bouquet of origami orchids from the taller Demi-Goddess.

magic: jinx rose

Green Magic: Control over plants. Though, with Jinx, it's a relatively weak form of it, because he doesn't really have an affinity for it. He doesn't use it for much, just around the farm and when caring for his carnivorous plans. His magic is the reason they've lived so long--he's had those plants since he was 12.

Dark Magic: Control over the darker aspect of magic. Jinx does not use this magic. At all. The reason being, is that the dark magic he inherited from his biological mother is inherently rather volatile. Jinx used his magic to experiment only once. And even though his experiment was in a controlled environment, the feeling it gave him freaked him out so much he never called on it intentionally again.

Illusion Magic: Ability to manifest and control illusions. This is currently Jinx's strongest magic. Inheriting this ability from his biological father--who wasn't even a witch, just a magic-user--Jinx is gaining mastery over the art of fooling the senses.

Dionysian Magic: The magic that he gained when he became a favored follower of the god Dionysus. However, like his control over his dark magic, Jinx's control over the Dionysian magic is dubious. As it's directly connected to his mental state--madness and all--he has to be careful when he calls on it. If he uses it too much, he'll spiral, and it'll take more and more time to bring him out of it the more it happens.

lately been feeling as if i'm being pulled in so many directions. not for any particular reason that i can figure, but like. it's i have chores to do. if not them, it's work. if not work, it's friends. everything within the past three weeks i think, maybe four, has felt like a big to-do. i am a person robot and this is what ppl do so i do it too. and b/c of that i feel like i keep running out of spoons before i know it. and then i'm tired and i say "i just need good rest" after good rest. anyways, i have a few more than usual days off work next week and i'm going to take one of those to fully just have a me day. b/c i think that will help. anyways, not to share so personally on this site lol i just feel like saying this to the anons who aren't reading this lol. on a side note, i can't stop making hexagonal granny square cardigans and blankets so rip to all of you who know me irl
