Halsin's (apparently justified) fear of doppelgangers is both amusing in the way that he solidly mentions it semi-out of the blue twice (once in his surprise that anyone would want to genuinely get to know him, and the other where he assures the PC that if he ever refuses hugs it's because he's been replaced), and concerning. It's a very specific wariness to have (post Orin less so, but *pre* Orin...). What has this man encountered that reared that up?

first @yeehawgust prompt was 'gather the posse' and since I'm using this challenge as a way to explore new characters I just took that to mean "design the fuckers"

anyways, Whiskey and Tago. Tbh this pose was meant to be more a metaphor thing than literal, but it's making me strongly consider changing Whiskey to being a they/them(plural) instead of a they/them(singular).

Their parents own the local saloon where they and their mother work as barkeeps. their father also manages #a small ranch/farm that grows corn and has a decent number of cattle. #Tago is an outlaw whos just moving from town to town looking for honest work after spending too long doing the bidding of others #in big cities out to the east. #He doesn't like getting close to people. Literally. hes venomous and his touch is poisonous to the point of being lethal to most #Whiskey is the sort you really shouldn't get close too. They have a habit of driving their less constituted lovers insane. #they're a shape shifter who moves between faces/gender presentations as it suits them but they #cant do much about their coloration though. thats always the same and it irritates them to no end

cub is the type to go out and just eat someone that isnt the hermits really

My thoughts on Nimona (since I just watched it)

Loved how feral Nimona was. There was literally FIRE in her eyes at on point

The one-liners were comedy gold.

The scene were Nimona explained what NOT shape shifting was like was cool. And Ballister was TERRIFIED when he saw the arrow in her leg

Demon baby. Cute but deadly

The director? Total dickhead.

And Ballister was a badass when showing the director that he and Nimona got her to confess. Nimona's a great actress!

The party scene was amazing. And when they are playing the board game? Awesome.

And when Ballister said that Nimona was safe after she had a nightmare and she said that she wished that they could stay at the safe house (aka, home to her)? Sword. Of feels. In the chest.

And Glorath was Nimona's friend! The betrayal on Nimona's face was so sad.

And the scene where Ballister said that he saw Nimona had me cry. And I usually don't cry when I watch movies!

And the hug between Nimona and Ballister? Another sword of feels in my chest.

Also, I like how Glorath and the director said the same phrase. "Go back into the shadows from whence you came from." It was cool how they both said that line.

AND WHEN BALLISTER FIGURED OUT THAT NIMONA WAS DEAD MADE ME CRY MORE!!!!!

And Ambroius giving him a hug was nice there

Also, why was there a wall in the first place?

I'm glad that Ballister and Ambroius got to kiss.

And they cut the final scene right as Ballister's saying the S word! That was funny

All in all, I rate this movie a 9.7 out of 10, highly recommend you watch it. And we need a sequel, like, yesterday
