DPxDC Presumed Aliens Prompt
Imagine if the the Phamily fall through a portal to another world. Honestly nothing new there, and at least they're in the specter speeder. The specter speeder that has maybe crashed, but it wasn't their fault they swear! Not their fault if it got attacked, right? And maybe they're somehow kids now, but they can blame that on Clockwork right? Right. Definitely his fault. They weren't messing around with things in his Haunt and definitely didn't mess with things they shouldn't have. But really it wasn't their fault. Really. So maybe they're stuck in another world, stuck as kids, and someone has managed to open the half crushed speeder, but that would normally be fine. Honestly wouldn't be surprising with how their lives are. The thing is, they're all... akin to lil baby ghosts in shape, and their world's human language evolved differently to this worlds. What do you mean the heroes in this world think they're baby aliens???

Thought #236
Hero sighed as they rode the elevator up to their office.
Their day job was not what they wanted to do right now. They wanted to be at home researching Villain and coming up with a plan to stop them.
"You need the money. You need the money." Hero repeated to themselves.
The door opened and they plastered a smile on their face. They walked into the front doors and froze.
Someone stood at the front desk talking to Receptionist.
"Oh, Hero." She said brightly. "Perfect timing. Someone is here to see you."
Hero looked at Villain, who had a huge smile plastered over their face.
Hero took a deep breath and plastered the smile back on their face.
"Hello. Follow me to my office and we can meet there."
Villain nodded and followed Hero.
Hero let Villain into the office and closed the door behind them.
"What are you trying to do?" Hero whispered harshly.
"I thought you would be happy to see me. You have put in so much work in finding where I go that I thought I would throw you a bone." Villain smiled and sat down in one of the chairs.
Hero glared at them at sat at their desk. Villain rifled through some of the papers.
"I also thought I could save you from this dreadfully boring job."
Hero snatched the papers from Villain. "I don't want to hear it."
"You sure?" Villain stood.
"Yes I'm-"
"Cause I could double your salary. And give you time to do whatever you want. Just under one condition."
Hero stood.
"You have to do one mission with me." Villain laughed. "And come live with me, but we can talk about that bit later."

Snippet #14
CW: Kidnapping mention, implied neglect
After months of planning Villain had finally managed to kidnap Hero.
Their heart and mind was racing. They actually got away with it!? Did they have that dramatic monologue ready? Oh the agony they were going to put Hero through!
However when they put Hero in their holding cell they didn't expect to hear out pourings of gratefulness.
Hero: I thought you were going to torture me? Why'd you take me to such a nice room?
Villain, sputtering: Nice room!? This is a dungeon! There is nothing "nice" about it!
Hero: But I have a bed! With a sheet! This is nicer than any room the agency put me in! If I didn't know any better I'd think you like me or something.

DP x DC prompt
Danny hates anti heroes and heroes who kill, not because he thinks it's morally wrong. But because a lot of them like to make the criminals suffer for their crimes before they kill them.
Which leaves them with enough trauma and pain to become ghosts and this causes Danny to have more enemies he has to stop from coming into the mortal realm.

Villian: "I can give you anything you want! Just join me and it could all be yours!"
Hero: "Can you give me a healthy sleep schedule? Oh what about a healthy work environment where you don't manipulate me?"
Villian: "uhhh."

I know, that it´s an old idea - that Danny, now immortal, with his family long having passed on, falls in love with some mortal and they marry and then have an end (if it´s happy or not mostly depends on the writer).
But you know what would be funny? If Danny, regardless of if he´s king of the infinite realms or not, I don´t care, falls in love with one or both of the parents of a random hero or villain. And Danny, deciding to become the daddest dad to have ever dadded, watches his new child with the parent(s) by his side and intervenes when it gets 'too dangerous'. Or if he just wants to cause some mischief.
The person now being fathered is very confused because "What the hell is going on?"

Mutually Assured Destruction Pt 2
THANK YOU SO MUCH to the huge response to this, I never expected that being so new to this circle of writers. I squealed at every like and reblog and comment.
Synopsis: Villain x Civilian. Civilian can sense other people's powers through auras but hides this ability. They are terrified of the most boring person at their office job, who hides the most powerful aura Civilian has ever felt.
Part 1 here. Tagging @heroes-villains-side-blog and @follow-me-into-the-fog
The taqueria was dimly lit with Formica tables and brightly colored murals of vaguely Mexican landscapes, which meant the tacos were obscenely good.
Civilian tried hard not to be grateful as they bit into their taco as delicately as they could, their fingers stained with the mess of the previous taco. Jonathan’s tacos, on the other hand, had remarkable structural integrity and did not break once.
“How are you doing that?” they blurted out.
Jonathan raised an eyebrow as he dotted away taco grease with his napkin. “Doing what?”
“Your tacos don’t fall apart. How?”
“Perhaps that’s my power.” He smirked.
Civilian rolled their eyes, trying not to let the spike in their heart rate show on their face. So caught up in the surrealness of a dinner date, they had almost forgotten just what a precarious position they were in.
In fact, despite the blatant coercion to be here, this did not rank as the worst date Civilian ever had. Not even in the top ten. Jonathan paid for dinner, fetched napkins and extra beer, and allowed Civilian the space to quietly freak out while he ate in contented silence.
“I’ve never had a taco shell that didn’t break in my entire life, so I almost believe you.”
He gives them that same calculating stare he did in the elevator. “You’re not curious about what I can do?”
“No.” (A lie).
“Really? Not even a little?”
“I think knowing would make it worse.” (The truth).
Just knowing his aura has garnered too much attention as it was.
He smirked. “Afraid if you knew, I’d never let you go?”
Hearing their deepest fear voiced aloud caused a dizzy swoop in their gut. It wasn’t just Jonathan Civilian had to worry about. If anyone knew their true power, they would be a target to the Agency, to other villains, to the government. They could kiss their freedom goodbye.
Being “courted” by Jonathan was the least of their worries, and yet it meant the the threat of their freedom as a constant presence. If there was a chance Civilian could talk their way out of this arrangement, they had to take it.
Civilian swallowed. “You’re not actually serious about this, right? This fake dating thing?”
“Of course I’m serious.” He leaned forward across the table and Civilian unconsciously mirrored him. “I have certain plans in place. You are the one person who could disrupt them.”
“The last thing I want is to get involved with whatever the hell it is you’re doing,” Civilian hissed. “I’m not a hero.”
“There’s no way I can know right now that with any certainty. And so, until I do, you will have a very dedicated and considerate partner.”
Civilian bit back a groan as they imagined the kind of gossip this sudden relationship would inspire, especially since Civilian tried so hard to avoid Jonathan before. Wait a second . . .
“HR doesn’t allow workplace relationships,” they said triumphantly. “They would fire us.”
The corner of his mouth twitched, as if he found Civilian’s protests amusing. “That rule only bans relationships between superiors and the people that work under them. It doesn’t apply to us. Don’t worry, I will file our relationship with HR tomorrow morning since tonight marks our first date.”
Shit damn fuck. Civilian could protest the relationship or they could report Jonathan to HR for stalking or harassment but that only puts a target on Civilian’s back for his retaliation. He could kill them or worse -- report them.
Mutually assured destruction.
Jonathan drains the rest of his beer before nodding to Civilian’s unfinished food.
“Let me get you a to-go box and we shall be on our way, then?”
He drove them back to the parking garage at work and walked Civilian to their car. Civilian wasted no time getting their keys out, gripped by the sudden fear that perhaps Jonathan would reconsider letting them walk free.
And indeed when his hand darted out and gripped their door before it could shut, Civilian’s heart leaped in their throat.
“You’re going to leave before our goodnight kiss?” he asked, his gaze expectant and serious.
“What?” Civilian choked.
He held that stare for a moment before an evil smirk broke across his face.
“The look on your face. I should be insulted at how abhorrent the thought is to you. Goodnight, Civilian. I will see you in the morning.”
A threat and a promise.
Civilian feels the weight of his stare all the way out to the streets.

Remember Last Night
Hero stretched out their tired limbs after the sound of a passing garbage truck woke them up. Their eyes adjusted to the light rays melting into the room and a stir of their blankets around them was met with an unexpected guest. Beside them in bed laid a stranger. Their back was turned and they breathed quietly, almost too subtly for them to notice had they not felt the sheets move.
Hero shot up and looked around lost in thought, they didn’t recall having ever brought anyone home or even being bold enough to think about it. Yet, this stranger seemed oddly familiar. Their eyebrows raised as they took a closer second look at the features of an upturned jawline and a mess of hair that reminded them of… Villain.
But that couldn’t be right, could it? Their head pondered on what exactly occurred the night before and immediately a hand rose to their exposed chest. A heavy blush formed around their cheeks and at last, Hero picked up on the severity of their situation.
As calmly as they could, Hero stepped out of bed, painfully wincing at the sound of low creaking from the bed and the floorboards beneath them. They quickly hopped around on their toes in search for whatever remnants of clothes they could find.
Some were sprawled up against the lamp or on the couch, while others were tossed on higher locations, but nonetheless their eyes remained focused on tending to themselves.
Hero forced their attention away from Villain to stop the creeping sense of unbearable guilty attraction. The urge to take a glance to double-check it was all real, but they knew that was an excuse to deliberately satisfy their hunger to simply stare with awe.
With sore hips and an empty memory, Hero decided it was best to leave for about an hour or two before Villain woke up. That way they didn’t have to confront them and even more so they would leave on their own. Never to mention any of this again and hopefully forget one day.
But, the universe seemed to have planned something else for them. As Hero search for their keys the loud yawn of the other waking up caught them off guard. Their body stilled and turned to look at Villain rise from bed, their eyes meeting in a silent conversation which led to an awkward discussion.
“Good morning…” Hero shyly spoke, still risking if they should go.
Villain rubbed their eyes and let their thoughts wander for a bit before replying the same back to them.
Well, there was no way out of this now. They would have to put up with whatever they were given and pray for a change of heart. If Villain didn’t already hate them that is, otherwise they’d be doomed.
With little left to hide, Villain casually stood from the bed. Hero frantically turned around to face away from what they knew would have stopped their heart right then and there.
The sound of Villain’s footsteps entering the bathroom was what finally put them at ease and let out a breath. “How could I do this to myself?” They whispered with a hint of confusion. No matter how hard they tried to recollect any details of last night, nothing came about. They wondered if Villain’s natural reaction without any panic meant that they knew what was going on. If so, they’d need to get the information out of them without looking totally lost.
Hero wasn’t sure if they were going to be used or fed false memories so it was best to seem collected. For now, all Hero knew was that they definitely weren’t getting drunk last night because they weren’t currently experiencing any hangovers. It didn’t mean it was any better though because it meant that when they chose to share the same bed with their enemy, they were in fact, fully aware and present in making their decisions.
They sat at the kitchen table after preparing breakfast. Their eyes hiding their own distress.
Villain had finally exited from the bathroom and strode into the kitchen, still seemingly acting normal.
“Oh, what’s this?” They sat down and stared at the meal in front of them, “you’ve decided to make breakfast for a change?” They laughed and picked up a spoon.
Change? Was this a ritual that they did often or… they never made breakfast for more than one person before so this would be their first time.
With the way their nemesis was acting though, it made it seem like they were giving them a hint at what the entire picture may be. Though this wasn’t the sort of hint Hero was looking for.
With their brows furrowed, and still trying to connect the dots, Hero took a look around the home.
It looked like their house and the layout was all the same, but there were a few parts to it they couldn’t recognize. Whatever it was, they were sure to figure it all out by the time they got just the slightest of clues.
Ideally, they would’ve preferred if Villain would just hurry up and tell them what sort of witchcraft they might’ve used to get Hero to climb into bed with them so easily, but this was reality. And Villain was known for their strange mind games as a favourite tactic.
They ate silently, Hero catching the easy stance of their enemy but they didn’t even bother to pass them a skeptical look. They looked almost too comfortable with being around Hero, like they’ve done this one too many times.
Their head turned to face the clock, it was noon.
Villain stood up and thanked them for the breakfast, “I’m gonna be back by 10 tonight. I’ll probably call a little before that.” They watched Villain set their dishes into the sink and take a glass of water before continuing, “So don’t bother waiting for me.”
“Oh.”
Their clouded gaze met Villain’s again. Were they missing something? It felt like there was a part of Hero that had went on a vacation and left them in their place. The growing unfamiliarity made them worried. How could Villain act so nonchalantly?
The other had finally caught on to their expression and tapped a finger to the counter slowly deciphering their face. “What’s wrong?”
Everything, or that’s what they wanted to say, but how would that turn out?
Villain noticed their extended silence and walked their way, they pushed a chair close and leaned over. Hero flinched the second their forehead met. A reaction that apparently didn’t sit well with Villain at all. “Does your head still hurt?”
They licked their lips and shook their head. Hero didn’t know if they ever notified Villain of any of their health or wellbeing if anything it would be stupid to do just that.
“I’m not…” they trailed off.
“Hero, you don’t look too happy. What’s the matter?” They pushed.
It wasn’t going to help them to keep quiet any longer, so they figured they might as well give in with all the concern they’ve received. “I can’t… remember last night.” They murmured feeling the warmth spread across their face already. Their longtime enemy however didn’t mirror that response and it made them anxious all over again.
“What do you mean?” They asked.
Hero swallowed and looked for a better way to clarify, but there really wasn’t any other way to put it. “I just can’t remember.”
“What about the medicine I gave you? Did your headache at least go away?”
“What headache?” With the way the conversation kept continuing Hero was slowly becoming convinced that it wasn’t just last night they were forgetting.
Villain leaned back into their chair and watched the scene unfold in front of them, “Do you at least remember our anniversary, honey?” They gave them an opportunity to let the question sink in, but to Villain’s surprise Hero turn to them with an unusual response.
“What anniversary?”

Prompt #11
"Hey." Villain's voice rang though Hero's cheap phone. Oh god, Hero thought, what did he want at this ungodly hour?
"Hey?" Hero managed to reply groggily. Hero prayed that Villain hadn't made any form of mess that she would be left to clean up in her morning patrol.
"I can't sleep," Villain whined and Hero could almost imagine the pout on his lips as he spoke.
"Yeah? Well, guess what?"
"What?"
"I can. Goodnight."

"Working" together
Hero: Look, our plans keep getting more and more reckless and also not at all glamorous enough for your usual kind of gig. We´re both clearly not in the right mindset to do this, so can we just move it to tomorrow and go home now? Villain: Oh? Have I been keeping you up all night, Hero? Hero: Yes! And not the fun kind! Villain: …Oh? Hero: Not that! - Oh my god! I meant- fuck. Villian: Well, that... can certainly be arranged.

Thought #239
Villain walked into the office.
"I have an appointment at 5." They said as they got to the front desk.
Receptionist nodded and motioned for the chairs. "They will be right out to get you."
Villain nodded and sat down.
A few minutes later Hero walked out to the waiting room.
"See you next week." They said to the patient behind them.
Hero met eyes with Villain. "Come on back."
Villain followed Hero to their office. Hero sat down in their chair as Villain closed the door and sat on the couch.
"How has-"
"They know where you are." Villain spit out.
Hero met eyes with them. "They as in..."
"Superhero and Supervillain."
Hero set down their notebook. "How soon?"
"I don't know. I just know that they are coming. You have to get out of here."
Hero stood and started pacing around the room. They ran a hand through their hair. "I can't move again."
"I know." Villain stood. "But they will kill you and you know they will."
Hero turned fast. "You don't think I know that? So what do I do now? Change my name again? Move to another state? Again."
Villain nodded. "That's all you can do."
Hero shook their head. "Thank you for the suggestion, but I'm done running. I'll just stay here and let them find me."
Villain grabbed their arm. "What about me? What about-"
"You'll take good care of them." Hero looked at the clock. "Our time is up. I will walk you out to the lobby."
"Please."
Hero opened the door. "You can talk to Receptionist to schedule another appointment."
Hero walked down the hall to the door that led to the lobby.
Villain followed slowly. "Hero. You're making the wrong decision."
Hero froze. "I just can't anymore. I don't want to make you move again."
Villain took their hand. "I will go wherever you go."
Hero chuckled. "I'll see you when you get home."
Villain sighed. "I'm not leaving here until you're done."

Snippet #9
CW: Drugging mention
Hero is captured by Villain and is given a dose of truth serum.
Villain had a few theories about what Hero would spill. Government secrets, the inner workings of the Hero agency, a couple weaknesses, maybe even a super secret crush on Villain themself.
Unfortunately it turns out Hero is normally very opinionated but holds their tongue so Villain gets the roast session of a lifetime.
Hero: "Why do you look like the love child of Kylo Ren and the Green M&M?"
Villain, while sobbing: "Shut up! Just shut up!"
