Kebi's love languages are definitely words of affirmation and quality time.

She feels unsure about receiving gifts and physical touch in the beginning of the relationship as it reminds her of her former human life.

Kebi strongly believes that whenever you go, she goes. No matter the distance.

I think once she's comfortable in a relationship, you're hand will always be held and she'll do that thing where she rubs her thumb over your hand.

When you sleep, or lay down if you're a vampire, there will just be a tangle of limbs in the bed. Kebi has to be as close to you as possible.

If you're taller then Kebi, then she'll happily be the little spoon and ask if she can lay her head on your chest.

if you're smaller or the same height, Kebi will still wish to lie with your arms around her but she'll want to be facing you as you doze off.

I think a relationship with Kebi is one of those partnerships where you don't need to speak to know what the other wants, and is more than happy with comfortable silence.

PDA is rare and is shown through little actions like holding hands and occasional foreheads touches, but Kebi will never kiss her partner in public, well her coven mates.

Kebi is so genuinely interested in your hobbies like you can't possibly have better support. If you want to ramble and tell her all about your many interests she be happily content and ask questions.

If you need to vent she'll be quiet and listen to your ranting, and afterwards offer support and some suggestions if you wish. but will have no qualm taking you into her arms and just holding you there for as long as you need.

Overall, Kebi may not seem like the best partner at first as she's quiet and seems rather aloof, but once you get to know her and that timid exterior you'll realize that you're in a partnership with one of the most supportive people who will do anything to make sure you feel safe and comfortable with her.

yesterday I went to a little meeting at my local queer community center and I was admiring their bookshelves and mentioned that I work at the public library and someone said "well I bet they don't have any [LGBTQ+ books] at our library" and I was like um. yes we do. we have tons of them. half of our employees are queer leftists so they said "oh well I bet they don't in [nearby rural county]" and I was like uh once again yes they absolutely do. gay people live and work there as well

so here's a quick reminder that if you don't think your local library has enough queer centered materials you should actually check before assuming, and if you're not satisfied with their collection you should submit a request for more such books. I don't know what the political landscape of libraries looks like outside the us rn, but within the us no matter where you are, I promise you there are employees at your library fighting for inclusion and intellectual freedom and they can't win without vocal public support

Tumblr would literally rather arbitrarily delete the accounts of trans women on this site with uncharacteristic amounts of speed than address even one genuine instance of harassment. They've already lost one harassment lawsuit and they immediately decided it was more worth their time to continue on the exact same path. They KNOW what they're doing. With staff like this, the only way to see genuine change on this site is going to be to make it more of a problem for them to not address this issue.

I know I'm a week late but I do think people are misunderstanding the point of the Anthony Bourdain quote about Kissinger

The point was never "Anthony Bourdain has good politics and is an unproblematic fave," the point is that even someone with mainstream liberalish politics who goes to Cambodia for a food tour - a, let's be honest, very bougie type of trip to be part of your job - and has a basic understanding of history and a bare minimum of human decency can come away from that bougie food tour wanting to murder Henry Kissinger with their bare hands. The point is that Henry Kissinger fucked up this country so bad the only reason he wasn't lynched decades ago is because it's on the opposite side of the world and the people who were in proximity to him never really saw what it was. The point is that if we could see firsthand what our First World politics do to the Third World we would understand that monsters walk among us and it's a cultural failing that we let them die at home at 100 years old surrounded by their friends and family.
