The truth behind BTS sasaengs

a/n: this isn’t my research or post the original is in another website

“BTS sasaeng” are keywords if you search it an underworld will emerge since the beginning of 2019, the fandom A.R.M.Y has been faced with sasaengs accounts in social networks even though this kind of account has been around for a long time, but it was not something popular among “ordinary fans” not like now. since the incident at the airport with the “no pants girl” the sasaengs accounts has appeared more and more, each one stating different , and many claiming to be the “no pants girl”

during a live Jungkook received a call from a sasaeng, and after that many “sasaengs accounts” claim to have been them who called him

as you may realize many sasaeng accounts appear whenever events like these happen with it many of these supposed “sasaengs” gain more and more followers and become notorious among fans, they act so controversial in this way having their accounts spread all over twitter and becoming celebrities

But what is the truth behind these supposed sasaeng accounts? Who are they? Are they real or just liars wanting attention?

first of all let’s to know them for this I chose the 4 most famous sasaengs that I know

these are the accounts that are being spread most recently and I will talk about each of them individually

Let’s start with ywna_ss

I think it’s one of the oldest account

YWNA_SS is the main account she also has another account called bitcyoona

Yoona steals photos of other people and pretends to be hers

simple right? Yoona is a fake sasaeng just like the others I’ll expose here

let’s talk about the one who loves to spread rumors

MINHSK_

Minhsk was the one who spread the fake account “j6388h” that was pretending be a bighit staff the username was changed now is “sweg_bighit” minhsk keeps liking her photos even after she has been exposed

when minhsk_ friend ( Sayuri (sayuri__lie) aka a.fewar_) posted a video with minhsk, pretending trying to open the door of “bts” hotel room. but the video is not theirs. It took a long time but I was able to find the original video

minhsk_ posted a photo on IG pretending that was Jimin on the photo, but it was actually a screenshot of a video of a football player

now let’s go to STARHERIN

statherin pretends to be the “no pants girl” but she’s not her, there’s even an article about ‘no pants girl’ where they marked Herin as if she were her

starherin old username was jungherin_

she steals photos of other people and pretends to be hers. she takes screenshot of videos and stole photos from people IGstory, so it’s almost impossible to find the source of the photos she is posting

Herin posted photos of these cars in her instagram story times ago, but these photos were screenshots of a video posted by the user uura_b on her ig story, Herin likes to make people think she’s rich and is always following bts, but she just steals photos and videos of other people

before her user was jungherin_ and she claimed to be the “no pants sasaeng” when people confused one of the staffs with the “no pants girl” Herin posted a video saying it was her but later it was proved that the girl in the video was not sasaeng but a staff

she also steals bts photos that were taken by other people and put her watermark to look like she is a real sasaeng

the girl who became known as “no pants girl” is Chinese, but Herin claims to have a Korean father and a Chinese mother, but she doesn’t know how to speak Korean or Chinese, all caption in Korean that she post in her photos are obvious written with any translator app

and now the last one SUFK_SS

SUFK_SS is know for claiming to be the sasaeng who called Jungkook during Vlive, and also because she claims to pay for a staff to put cameras in Jungkook’s room.

she posted this on her IG story

but this supposed chat is fake, after researching a bit I found out that the picture that the alleged staff sent to sufk_ss is actually a screenshot of a porn video

did you see? all accounts are lies, and they are very dangerous, they have a lot of power and many people believe in them, these fake accounts are gaining followers and becoming influential, this is a big problem because they can easily spread rumors

I own all the content, I did the research to find the truth behind these fake accounts, please don’t repost without giving me the credits

OxQ starts tomorrow, so the actual promo for the band will start then. So excited!

Nine did a Q&A on twitter these are the most important things we learned: - Nine’s first crush was on a classmate - He loves Joong very much, but didn’t reply with a serious answer to any of the other question asking about his relationship with Joong or his relationship status. - Joong sleeps more than he does though and he makes great egg related food, Nine would rate his own cooking skills a 5 on the scale from 1 to 10. - If you want to keep him, then the only thing you need to do is Not cheat on him. - His favourite place in the house is the bed and when covid19 is over, his first action will be going out to dinner.

TalkWith9 trended at 12 in thailand and 5 in Indonesia. Worldwide it’s a record for Nine as he trended at 28, appearing in the top 50 in 6 different countries. A lot of questions that he answered were things we already knew or more personal like a little peptalk or saying he misses the fans. He also gave this answer: I hope we stay together for a long time, don't think too much and if i didn't say it myself or if you just heard it from others, please don't believe them. have faith in me. It’s highly believed to be about the current rumours about the boys mistreatment and it’s important to note that Nine has blocked P’Aam (the director of 2moons2) and Joong, Dome, Pavel and Earth no longer follow him on twitter. They are officially taking their distance from him. They posted their top 10 songs, Well sort of, Joong cheated and went with 15. Nine’s songs basically say: I wish I didn’t love you, but I’m too addicted to walk away and when I am with you I am happiest. So please stay. I might be a freaking hurricane and that will never change, can you love me forever this way. And Joong’s first 4 songs are saying: I’m in love with you, but you don’t see. Just let me in and trust me, I’ll prove how happy we could be. I will be here no matter what, even if you date someone else and it will break my heart. Joong changed his twitter profile picture to a picture of his baby sister copying the earlier angry bunny. And he showed us an IGstory of his finger missing a chunk of skin after exercising. Someone needs to be more careful. He ended the day with uploading three screenshots titled ‘Quake’. I guess it’s time to get ready to have our world shocked ^^.

Ok honestly I’m so freaking confused by all the drama with Perth and Saint. Do you mind explaining it all from start to finish because I am so lost?

Oh wow erm.. from start to finish? Well, there’s a lot going on LOL I don’t really want to dwell so much on this topic cause it’s kinda upsetting and also it seems to calm down. I get information from twitter and also from opald. You can go through her tags under #perth tanapon or #lbc cast And i believe this ask have been sitting in my inbox for quite some time haha so by now you should probably know what’s going on but I’ll just give some points regarding it.

It started off with a rumour that Saint is being sold into marriage to a man

Then one of Perth’s manager, Big, posted this in his igstory Translation: Even if you put it in a basket and wash it over and over (Thai proverb) It won’t be clean. I thought that I’d see it in a drama, didn’t think I’d see it in the real world. It’s funny right? - *The Thai proverb ‘put in the basket and washed’ means trying to clean up lust. Like someone who did something sexual and is now claiming that they didn’t do it and they’re so clean. (Thanks opald) So Big pretty much called Saint a slut which is bullshit (I believe some Thai fans think that the rumour appear cause of Perth’s management idk)

And there’s the events. I noticed at first that whenever there’s an event with the LBC casts, it’s always the 5 - 7 of them and none of them are Saint. I thought it was because Saint is busy with his individual schedule. But apparently NOT. Saint’s manager, P’Keng decided to spill the ‘tea’ that Perth’s managers purposely picked events that won’t have Saint in it. One of the event from Kazz Magazine (the one where the boys went to Chiang Mai? and played with the elephants) was suppose to be a PerthSaint event. However, Perth’s manager told Kazz that they want their boys (Plan, Mark, Gun & Title) to replace Saint and lower the price from 5000 baht to 2000+? If I’m not wrong (to pay the boys) So Thai fans was really pissed about it

Then there’s the interviews with Perth’s managers from daradaily which cause a lot of rages. I remember one of it is that they say they’re not series managers but actor managers so it’s not their job to promote Love By Chance which again, is bullshit cause they’re using the LBC name to get the boys to attend events. This really upsets a lot of people including Khun New, the director of LBC cause he worked so hard with the boys and now that they’re popular, they pretty much throw him away. Hence, there was a lot of hate towards the managers and the boys. I do feel bad for Perth cause he’s in the middle of these and I believe he can’t do anything about it. I may be biased cause I really like Perth more than Saint but Saint experienced way worse stuff like that rumour and not being able to attend some events cause Perth’s managers doesn’t want him to which is really upsetting. Hence, I admit that my love for Perth did decrease because of all these but now I love them equally

One of Perth’s manager, Gin actually said some stuff on his twitter (I can’t remember) but basically he was lying and said that it was Saint side that was in the wrong. But oh well, majority of the fans already hated them Then later on Big decided to post an apology on his twitter - he said (I’ll just summarise it), “If I have hurt Saint, then I would like to apologise.” Err, it’s not “IF” but you DID hurt his feelings especially with that post of yours in your igstory ugh. Then he said he have discussed with P’Keng to allow PerthSaint events (hell yeah) Yeah, he did apologise but I still won’t forgive him. He probably apologise cause he can’t handle the hate pressure from fans (hate ≠ no more money) But Gin and Pupae (another Perth’s manager) until now did not apologise ugh

Another bullshit thing happened and it was during the airing of LBC Episode 14 Director’s Cut event with mostly all the LBC casts. They have two timings and in both timings, fans did some special video for the casts. But in the second timing, the special video that is done by one of Perth’s biggest fansite (I believe it was Perth’s Place? Correct me if I’m wrong) doesn’t have Saint in it, AT ALL. So after that video and during the casts talks, the fans had a fight with the fansite master lol Do you know what the master said? That she couldn’t find a photo of all the cast with Saint, which again is BULLSHIT cause P’Chen (another Saint’ manager) revealed a screenshot of a conversation the fansite master and him which shows that P’Chen actually sent a file of Saint photos. With all the hate, she decided to close Perth’s Place lol

There’s more but I’ll just end of here. Saint experience so much for a 20-year-old boy, it’s INSANE. I don’t how he still able to smile and also forgave the managers because I was in his shoes, I’ll probably start a riot lol With all these dramas, no wonder Khun New and P’Nan (one of the investors) decided to not do SS2. Obviously I’m sad about it cause we didn’t get to see more AePete but I’ll patiently wait and hope that Season 2 would happen maybe a year or later

(P.S I’m both PinSon and SonPin shipper cause I can’t pick side. Yeah, call me a coward I DON”T CARE)

“Can you help me set up a blog so that I can get free stuff?” is a question I’ve been asked

…a lot.

When my blog began to take off in 2014 and the parcels started arriving at my desk, people couldn’t believe all the free stuff I was getting (and by people, I also mean me). From shampoo, to ice cream, to holidays, everyone wanted a slice of the action.

“I want free stuff too” they would tell me. “How do I get the free stuff?”

The honest answer? Hard work; creating good content, posting regularly, engaging with readers, giving up weekends and evenings to work completely unpaid. But these people didn’t want to hear that. They didn’t like it when I told them the truth, that I had started my blog in 2011 and it had taken three years to get to this point. They just wanted the free stuff. And regardless of my advice they were still going to go ahead and try to get it.

These people are called Blaggers. The evil twins of Bloggers. They look like us, sound like us, they’ve got all our moves down to a tee, they’re just missing one thing – the blog.

But do they even need it? With so many blogs out there now, literally thousands upon thousands, does anybody even check anymore? We all know the story about Hannah Ewens, the Vice Journalist who was photographed A LOT at London Fashion Week in 2014 and blagged her way into VIP events posing as a Fashion Blogger. She had no blog and yet that didn’t matter, she looked the part; OTT street style with a male photographer by her side and BOOM suddenly everyone wanted to know which online store she bought her iPhone charger necklace from (it was literally just a charger worn around the neck).

Now, I don’t actually mind Blaggers trying to blag themselves some free goodies. I mean, why not? I LOVE free stuff. I’d be totally lying if I said ‘free stuff doesn’t interest me’. It does, because, y’know, free means you don’t pay for it. And I’ve no shame in admitting that I’ve used my blog to contact brands with a few cheeky freebie requests and collaboration ideas (although before anyone gets narky I also want to point out that I only accept free stuff that I am genuinely interested in sampling/reviewing/writing about, so pipe down).

No, I don’t have a problem with people trying to get free stuff or pretending to be something there not, thats fine, and part of the new 2017 me is about me minding my own business and just letting people do what they want to do.

But what I do have a problem with is the Blaggers that are taking things away from the hard working bloggers. Whilst reading the March issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, I read an article by the Features writer Josie Copson, titled How did this women fool every bouncer in town?

Josie’s mission was to try and blag her way into as many VIP parties and clubs as she could, picking up tips and tricks along the way for the Cosmo readers. But one trick I was shocked to read about was snagging event information from someone’s IG story. You see, one person shared an exclusive invitation on his InstaStory and a gal that Josie was interviewing, lets call her an ‘Expert Party crasher’, showed Josie how easy it is to grab all the deets you need for a VIP event by simply watching this IGstory. The two of them were able to see the location, the time of the event and the oh-so-crucial RSVP email. Using these details they were able to blag themselves into the event and onto the red carpet that very night!

Okay, so it was kind of silly of this person to share that online, surely we all know by now not to post that kind of information on social media (it’s like the people who post the entirety of their boarding passes on Twitter with the hashtag #holiday, you mays well just hand over your passport too). But still, it made me wonder how many others are using that tactic when bloggers share their exclusive invites online? And although this expert Party Crasher may not have blagged her way in as the actual person from whom she snagged the deets off, if numbers for the event are limited or the place becomes at capacity, her attendance could mean others being turned away at the door, others who worked hard to get that invite.

But it’s not just party invites and red carpet events that are being swiped right before Bloggers very eyes, some Blaggers are committing actual fraud!

Two years ago, Lifestyle Blogger EmShel of emtalks.co.uk was the victim of Blogger Identity Theft. Yes, you read that right – Blogger Identity Theft – and yes, that is a thing. Someone had created a fake email account in Emma’s name and had contacted a whole bunch of brands requesting free stuff, from skincare products to, erm, jam!

Because this fraudster was using Em’s actual stats, which as an award winning blogger were pretty impressive, all the brands of course came flooding back with yes after yes after yes. It was only when the brands realised they weren’t receiving any coverage or reviews on the products they had sent out, that they one by one began to contact her via Twitter to chase her up. To which point Em cluelessly replied ‘but I didn’t request anything.’

This IS fraud and the police obviously had to get involved. It’s one thing to blag your way into a party, but it is astonishing to think someone would actually commit fraud just to get free stuff (and free Jam, really?) Not only was the fraudster wasting the time, money and efforts of the brands, but he/she was damaging the reputation of a blogger who had spent years building up her own brand.

There are always going to be people out there who want the goods but don’t want to put in the hard work. Let them be. These Blaggers may be unintentionally ruining a few things for the hard-working Bloggers, but here are my tips on how to make sure you are always completely identifiable as a Blogger and not a Blagger AND how to prevent people from using your brand/name:

BE A BLOGGER, NOT A BLAGGER

Never share private information on any of your social media platforms, including your own address, the address of a PR or a brand or the address of a meeting place/event.

Never share email contacts online and especially don’t share scannable barcodes online, not even on a disappearing image like on IG or Snapchat.

Try to arrive at an event early or at least bang on time. The whole fashionably late thing is BS. Arriving on time, rather than an hour and a half later, not only protects your name or brand from me being blagged by someone else, but it also shows commitment and enthusiasm to your host (plus it means you normally manage to get first dibs on drinks & seats, ahem, just saying).

Have your blogs email address somewhere on your homepage, as well as in your social media platform bio’s. That will hopefully make someone think twice about creating a fake one, and even if they do, having your real email address everywhere will be easy for brands to spot should they be suspicious of having a potential Blagger on their hands.

Create a media kit with all your stats to send to brands to back up your credibility. Maybe send along examples of previous collaborations and previous campaigns or perhaps even screenshots of your WordPress or Google analytics. Anyone can send an email saying ‘I get ### hits a month’ but you can actually prove it!

Meet your PR’s & Contacts. If they know you by face then they certainly won’t be letting in someone else using your name or website.
