Back to basic 上京してから いつの間にか21年が経とうとしている。 (今月末で) 我ながら「よく生き延びたな。」と思っていた時期もあった。 上京直後に貯金が底をつき、一日一食ままならず携帯も止まったりしたし。 まだここには書けないネタがいくつかあるw さておき、その北海道から単身で上京する際に 車とか家具とか手放さなければいけなかった。 今思うと「Ski setは、置いて来ても良かったな。」(20年もやらなかったし) でも、レコードを処分しなくては、いけなくて。 それが悲しかった。 100枚くらいは、あったはず。 都内で暮らしていた時には、常に 「また引っ越す」と思っていたので 家具は、買わずに段ボールごと衣替えをしていたしw（常に服が多い) 極力物は増やさないようにしていた。 なので、ターンテーブル（レコードプレイヤー）は、買わずじまいだった。 探した時には、気に入ったデザインの物が見当たらなかったから。 機能も大事だけどデザイン重視✨ やっとデザインと機能と価格のバランスが良さそうな しかも、ポータブルの #ターンテーブル を見つけたので注文した〜♪ これで、またレコードを買える〜🎶 でも、伊東って湿気が多いし 我が家は、ただでさえ湿気が篭もる立地だから保管要注意だわ💦 着物といいレコードといい どんどん昔に返っていく私。 写真は、北海道で最後に1人で暮らしていた部屋の一画。 お気に入りの #レコード のジャケットと これまたお気に入りだった白いターンテーブル その横には、CDチェンジャー💿 「この部屋には人を呼ぶことがなかったなぁ。かなり珍しく」と ふと思い出した。 #sade #madonna #herbritts #シャーデー #マドンナ #ハーブリッツ https://www.instagram.com/p/CgJ5d5KhcNj/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

@madonna80sarchive 17/18th (TBC) January 1985 - Madonna photographed by @herbritts in Hawaii. Dress by @julioespadanyc. Photos from this shoot were used for the Rolling Stone magazine feature "The Boys of Summer" (May 9, 1985 issue), various posters, her calendars, various magazines, the Angel and Dress You Up (Japan) single cover and The Virgin Tour back drop, tour shirts, posters and Tour Programme. The models including @kaipoguerrero @tonymoniz, Zachary Hitchcock, Jamie Brisick, Mark Holzman and Brian Van Dyke were pro surfers and underground rippers recruited from Hawaii and California. Info on models thanks to @kaipoguerrero. Herb Ritts gathered a few boys, including 18 year old soon to be pro surfer Kaipo Guerrero, for a photoshoot with Madonna. Madonna took a shine to the young man and had a fling with him, inviting him to Japan during her Like A Virgin album promotional trip the following week. Kaipo confirmed the romance in Free Surf Magazine after Matt Warshaw’s Encyclopedia of Surfing in 2016 ranked the top celebrity romances within the sport, and Kaipo and M made number 2 on the list. “I’m stoked I made the list, even number 2!” he said after hearing that it was ranked above other “romances” like Kelly Slater and Pam Anderson and Laird Hamilton and Gabby Reece. "She was super powerful, so driven, and so smart,” said Kaipo. This shoot took place possibly around the 17th or 18th of January. It was intended for her 1986 calendar and her first tour book, though was used in several publications throughout the year. It is rumoured that Madonna hated shooting this session and was angry with Herb, believing the shoot to be awful, that is until she saw the photos and realised she was wrong. This shoot is my number 1 favourite 80s shoot.
