Starting a pilates class at school today but I'm still sore from yesterday's work out 💀 never noticed how weak my core is until now. Also my ARFID has decided there's bugs in a lot of foods so my era of eating a variety of fruits, vegetables, & meat is over. Back to nectarines, cheese, chicken, & carrot sticks lol

✨💖 WELLNESS CHECK 4/4/2023 💖✨
✍🏼 DAILY JOURNAL:
Waking up — The noise of the early risers getting ready for work woke me up, and I couldn’t fall back asleep. The noise woke me up at 645 am. I didn’t grab my phone, so just laid there until 8 am. No feeling of unease this morning, thank goodness.
Before Breakfast — Did a weigh in. Struggled a bit with my self image, so took a look in the mirror and spoke sweetly to myself. It helped.
Up to lunch — I got my period today sooooo mood was down for most of the afternoon. I took my lunch break at 3pm; ate my grapes, journaled, and watched the nanny. Def helped with my mood.
🍱 FOOD JOURNAL:
Water intake — 96 oz
Breakfast — tbsp of honey & scrambled eggs to go. I cooked 3 eggs with maple hills 100% grass fed butter
Lunch — bowl of grapes & boulder canyon chips
Dinner — 100% grass fed beef burger & raw cheddar cheese. The family ordered KFC, so I ate some of their leftovers; mash potatoes & gravy - I could only eat a small amount of this because the taste was not what I remembered it to be 🥺

Did not workout today.

Days 6-11
So, I went out of town. Came back and got into a huge fight with my ex and I wanted to give up. Taking 6 days may seem irresponsible to some, but it usually takes me a month or more to get back on track. For me, 6 days is actually the quickest I’ve gotten back on, so I can’t go back and change it, but I can keep a positive attitude.
I burned the most calories in a HIIT workout I ever have before today and the jump roped after to burn 100 more 😳🥹
Weighing myself will trigger me since I know the 6 day gap didn’t help much. Next week though I’m aiming for 2 pound loss.
On a non-scale victory, I wore a tank top that I am usually too insecure to wear out in public and while I still dislike my arms, I feel happy that I forced myself to.
Here is a random photo dump of my beach trip and my workout stuff from today. Also just realized I have to clean my mirror and my room 😅

Last Recorded Weight: 338
Mobility: Walked 300 feet with the walker.
Mood: Chilled out, generally content.
Activity: Watching Osbournes Want To Believe and doing assorted internet things. Probably gonna draw or craft. Doing my nails a bit. Braided my hair.

I've been doing really good about going out of the room and socializing the past couple of days. It helped to have a therapy dog visit one day then a very sweet shelter dog visit the next. Today I'm kind of tired, fell asleep after breakfast and now I just feel like chilling in the room today and recharging my socializing fuel. I have the curtain pulled around me as I sit in my wheelchair at my table.
Walked with the walker 300 feet last night! God my favorite nurse aid is so good about helping me and I feel like I can trust him which helps immensely.

Been getting into a creepy-dark-goblin-witchy-paranormal-cryptid-cottagegore vibe. Found a cool mug for when I go home that looks like Tim Burton sketched mushroom people, and I have Pelicans We by Cosmo Sheldrake stuck in my head.

Metabolism comes from the greek word for "Change"
Metabolism is a chemical process in which the energy found in the foods we eat are tranformed or converted into energy that the body can use to maintain structure, reproduce, grow and respond to outside stimuli.

real 'glow up' advice i wish i had

Imagine getting to the point in life where YOU are your own vision board; where you are that girl who has the life that you want, and you don't have to seek it out through other people. That should be the ultimate goal.
Here are subtle things that you should be doing to channel your ideal person and improve yourself for the better FROM THE INSIDE
take care of your hygiene: brush your teeth every day, wash your face with soap, wash your hair, take meaningful showers
be kind to yourself: speak nicely to yourself, treat yourself every now and then, love yourself exactly the way you came
make the effort: do your hair and wear something cute, even if you're only going to the supermarket. I bet your ideal self looks stunning wherever she goes, so make that effort if you really want to become her
move your body: dance to some music for just 5 minutes, take a walk, get off the bus a (reasonable) few stops earlier and walk the rest of the way
romanticise the hell out of your life: wear those bows, create that vision board, play that aesthetic background music even if you're just washing the dishes, wear that outfit!!!!!
admire yourself: look at yourself in the mirror and remember what you look like, take a million selfies to look back and smile at, give yourself a compliment every time you pass your reflection
get creative: if you want cute decor, make it! if you want cute clothes, find some easy DIYs!
focus on what you can control: if you cannot change the situation, let it resolve itself. don't waste your precious time obsessing over something you cannot change
get to know yourself (again): rediscover your hobbies, try new activities, learn to appreciate your solitude, get out of your shell
I really wish I was part of a community like this when I was going through a really insecure and lonely phase of my life.
Instead of deciding to wake up a 3am every day from now on, and trying to reach 20k steps every day, start small and walk your way up to greatness!

My morning went well, I burned my 400 calories through HIIT and jump roping.
Went swimming from 4pm-8pm and I am exhausted!
