It is actually quite concerning that many youngsters consider smoking to be cool when it is so dangerous not just to your lungs but also to others. And I'm not addiction-shaming here, I just think we should discourage people from starting to smoke and offer resources to those who are already addicted.

Because new research has found that not only second-hand smoking but also third-hand smoking to have negative health consequences.

I'm finding it REALLY hard to resist the urge to gain weight. I'm a little worried about the health consequences, but tbh, that's also part of the attraction. this is me.

what should I do?

Only you can decide- it's your life. it's your wonderful body! There are real health consequences of weight gain, especially rapid gains (can be catastrophic for gut health while others seem to manage quite well). there are of course many pleasures. the euphoria of seeing your dream come to fruition. the sexual satisfaction. we've been conditioned to think fat and weight gain is always unhealthy and it is a lot more nuanced. there are ways to mitigate health concerns- eating a lot but eating well. still being somewhat active and doing low impact exercises to keep your bones strong and your heart pumping. ❤️ some people love the side effects of being unhealthy, and that's ok too, as long as you are educated & aware of risks vs rewards.

but also, who are you kidding? you're asking a fat admirer if she thinks you should gain weight. i think you already know what you seek. of COURSE i think you should try it out and go for it! you'll gain like ten points of sexy at least

“I’m glad to have caught you between meetings, father,” Ted said. “I won’t keep you – I just wanted to say goodbye before I leave for Torenth.”

“Ah, so you’re going back today?” Stephen said, distractedly. “And what of Michael? Has he returned? There’s work to be done.”

“I believe he’ll be back tomorrow,” Ted said. “Please take it easy on him, father. He’s quite taken with the Baroness Wexton, and this is the first time I’ve seen him so happy in a long time. I’m sure he’ll ….”

“Michael’s happiness isn’t a priority right now,” Stephen said firmly. “I need him to start shouldering some of the responsibility for the crown that I wear and that he shall wear after me.”

“I’m sure he’ll do his duty,” Ted said, gently.

Stephen sighed.

“I’m sorry, Ted,” he said. “You’re right, of course. It’s just been a very long day already.”

“You look very tired, father,” Ted replied. “Why don’t you get some rest?”

The prince shook his head.

“I’m fine, Ted,” Stephen said. “And I expect regular calls from Torenth as you continue working on my behalf.”

“I promise,” Ted said, smiling. “Goodbye, father.”

Stephen hugged his stepson tightly.

“Goodbye, son,” he whispered, then pushed Ted to arm’s length. “Now, go find your mother. She’ll be livid if you leave without seeing her.”

Ted walked into the hallway where, as always, Bixby waited quietly.

“Bix, is father alright?” he asked. "I get the feeling something is really wrong, and it worries me."

“Oh, I’m sure he’s just tired, your highness,” Bixby replied. “He’s had some stomach troubles lately – likely caused by the stress he’s been under. I know Dr. Philson is hard at work addressing the issue, so I’m sure he’ll be fine quite soon.”

“Please let me know if anything changes,” Ted said, unconvinced.

“Of course, your highness,” he said.

I've been having some issues with my blood pressure lately, for about a month now. I wanted to try to find a doctor and get it checked on, but y'all know I can't afford to right now, so like. I'm just living at the moment on fumes and hopes. But umm...

Why my sisters messaged me to inform me that our mother's blood pressure went wild and she has had both a heart attack and a stroke and is most likely going to be blind in one of her eyes...

Y'all. If I have any type of incident, similar, even if not as bad, there is no way I'd be able to pull through. This just stresses me out even more.

I don't really have friends, so I'm just whining online, basically.

If anything happens, I live alone with a cat and I don't have any associates in the city I live in. My nearest loved ones are 4 hours away. It's troubling.

It was just before Christmas, and eight-year-old Gloria Moraa sat holding a mirror as her aunt painted her curls with chemicals that would straighten every strand. “All the young girls would get matching hairstyles for the holidays, and relaxers were fashionable back then,’’ says Moraa, now 28, who lives in Nairobi, Kenya. She no longer straightens her hair because she thought it was starting to thin. But over the years, Moraa used almost every relaxer on the market, with one goal: making her coily hair silky. The ingredients didn’t matter. “I did not have the time or the expertise to discern the effects of listed ingredients,” Moraa says. “I’m a consumer, not a chemist.” But questions are being raised about the safety of the ingredients in these products. In October 2022, the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) published a study that found women who used hair relaxers more than four times a year were at a higher risk of uterine cancer. The study marked a tipping point in the US, building on more than a decade of scientific research in which women’s exposure to chemicals known as endocrine disruptors appeared to correlate with the development of uterine and breast tumours. Endocrine disruptors interfere with hormones that regulate functions such as mood, appetite, cognitive development and reproductive health. While many black women in the US are now rejecting chemical straighteners – filing thousands of lawsuits against manufacturers in the wake of the study – sales of the products in some African countries continue to climb. Tunisia, Kenya and Cameroon were among the countries worldwide leading sales growth for perms and relaxers from 2017 to 2022, according to Euromonitor, a market research firm. Sales in Tunisia and Kenya jumped 10% over the five-year span. South Africa and Nigeria also saw growth.
