i love instances where the tank has to use lb or else you wipe, i wish there were instances where you have a mechanic that wipes the entire group on purpose EXCEPT for one person who has to take an invulnerability buff (interact with smth in the arena idk) and you want that person to be a healer so they can use lb to bring everyone back after like that sounds fun!!! is that a mechanic? i don't know but if it is: GREAT. if it isn't: get on it please square enix

Hello there! Your jjk fix it au is a really interesting idea! Is it ok for you to tell how and why mahito became an assisted duo with shoko?
For sure! I haven't written or made any other notes on it so I'm just working from a loose idea. If someone wants to write or draw it out, go for it I suppose. (It got long, full text under the cut 😅. Tl;dr is Shibuya Incident goes not as bad as canon, Gojo snags Kenjaku and Mahito for some harebrained experiment to fix Geto and bring him back, Shoko is stuck working with Mahito because she's apparently the school's only medic. Things go better than expected.)
I'd have to re-watch the episodes to get the exact order of events but basically the AU begins around the start of the Shibuya Incident arc: the students and other sorcerers manage to catch up to Gojo and not-Geto in time to keep their teacher from being sealed. Instead, the school team is able to turn things around on the curse gang.
I imagined the turning point is that Yuji and possibly others manage to reach the station in the moments before the Prison Realm actually grabs Gojo, leaving it out in the open to be swiped and repurposed. Freed of his momentary distraction, Gojo does some quick mental math on the situation: his friend's body has been stolen - but his soul seems to be intact, the Prison Realm is within reach, as is the cursed spirit with a technique that can manipulate the body via its soul. He can work with this.
So whoever is there (probably Gojo, Yuji, and Todo?) take advantage of the stunning effect of Gojo's domain and the Prison Realm to get Kenny boxed up and grab Mahito while he's incapacitated (probably literally, since Gojo could probably safely 'touch' him with Infinity running), and drag the both of them back to the school for safekeeping.
Gojo's harebrained scheme is to surgically extract Kenjaku and use Mahito's ability to grow a working brain back into Geto's body. It's weird, but it's no worse than having to kill him all over again. Unfortunately to do this he needs to have Mahito's cooperation, which he initially does not. After some negotiation, Gojo enters into a pact with Mahito for his assistance; roughly a "Help us or we kill you" arrangement, since the school staff can guess that not-Geto was almost certainly planning to eat Mahito anyway.
Since Mahito's technique has extensive medical application, he ends up working alongside Shoko for the next little while. With supervision from Gojo at first, to ensure he behaves and to check up on Geto regularly. But the aftermath of the Shibuya Incident still needs attention so Gojo finds himself drawn away more often than not, leaving Shoko alone to deal with Mahito's shenanigans and care for a recovering Geto. Thankfully Shoko has enough experience dealing with annoying teenage boys (and Gojo) that she knows how to handle Mahito's childish temperament. She's the right mix of no-nonsense and easygoing to handle him and they eventually form a more cooperative working relationship. I imagine Mahito is one of those "problem children" that would thrive with clear instruction and strong boundaries. He'd be a good worker, he just needs someone to keep him in line.
If I do end up writing this in some capacity, my impulse right now is to make it 50% heavy SatoSugu angst, as Geto recovers in the care of his mortal enemies and the one person who never gave up on him; and 50% office comedy with Shoko and Mahito getting acclimated to one another and taking care of Geto and the rest of the cast as they heal up from the incident.

🤝😑🫶
🤝: How did they meet in the first place? What was there first impression of each other?
The very very first time they met was back in Dreamtale, as kids! Saucer had run away from home on their own self-proclaimed ‘quest’ to become a healer- landing themself in the village as the apprentice to a monster there. Nightmare wound up there (healer’s clinic/house/whatever) after a particularly nasty fall from a tree, Saucer’s mentor introduced the two and the rest is history! :]
🫶: Who ended up falling first? Which of them actually realized that they’d fallen in love first?
Post-incident, it was a very slow progression from ‘yeah, really good friends’ to ‘yeah, really good friends, but maybe something else? (romantic)’. Nightmare is… emotionally constipated, and it certainly takes him longer to really realize. Saucer isn’t too much better, but when your best friend is constantly getting into near death fights with his estranged brother emotions are sure to bubble up :3c
😑: How easily do they get jealous and how do they handle it?
Nightmare strikes me as more possessive/protective than jealous, with everyone in his castle- not just Saucer! If everyone in his domain is ‘his’ then there isn’t really anything to be worried about. Saucer is a recluse in the multiverse, of their own decision, but still reclusive. They don’t leave the castle too often, and the only reason I can think of for them to be jealous or envious would be if NM is spending more time on work-type stuff than with them— which they’d just try to talk through. And be a bit clingy, but not much more from their usual.

🌙 I’m proud of myself! ✨ Finally played Overwatch despite being afraid of it because someone I started playing Apex with invited me. I hardly ever talk on mic, but I did it tonight, and I had a lot of fun! 💫 Though I only played Mercy, I tried Moira but found it better suited to trail behind everyone else and heal them, especially because one of them played Sigma 💜

Draco: Potter, you’re here…again, at St Mungo’s. Why?
Harry: Oh, er, I’m injured, you see
Draco: You’re a Professor
Harry: Yes
Draco: We do have the hospital wing at Hogwarts
Harry: Yes…but Poppy is sick today
Draco: I just talked to her this morning
Harry: …okay, the injury is too severe and she told me to come see you
Draco: You got a scratch on your hand, you can heal it yourself
Harry: I forgot my wand
Draco: It’s in your hand
Harry: …
Auror Ron: He just wants to see you, for Merlin’s sake! Now can someone heal my bloody leg?!
Harry: Oh, yeah, right! Heal him first!

Also them marking Wayu as theirs only. Thanks! https://archiveofourown.org/works/46207009/chapters/130111105
Prompt from Lexborn: Hi! A prompt for The director who buys me dinner where we don't get the bittersweet ending and Dong baek dodged the stab and successfully stopped the attacker, saving them both. Of course a happy ending where after 300 years, they're finally together and Director Min finally getting his happy ending. Can be fluffy or sexy up to you. https://archiveofourown.org/works/46231810/chapters/130236220
Prompt from Stormborn_88: An aftermath of what happened with Anna's stalker. They just moved on like nothing major happened (at leats it looked like that without the subs). Anyway… rambling. The prompt therefore being: Kiyoi has some PTSD after what happend to him with that stalker, but also bc of what happened to Hira. So they talk about what happened to them while Hira is the sweet, caring boyfriend he always is with Kiyoi around (srsly him switching between crazy psycho towards the stalker and sweetly talking to Kiyoi was irritatingly cute). Chen Yuzhi and Jiang Yuelou are enemies, since birth. Both born in to warring gangs. But now, A group of the smartest criminals team up to pull off the biggest heist in history. Quickly they find themselves dealing with internal strife, brewing love and betrayal.
Gangster Jiang Yuelou is forced to take on a mission for his boss. The missions target? Dr. Chen Yuzhi must die.
“That was your first kill, you should feel proud. Hey… you don’t look so good…”
Maybe… Chen Yuzhis first kill? Jiang Yuelou has to comfort the doctor.
i don’t have my prompt note book, so this is right off my brain with a bit of research
Oh, all of these are great. Since we were talking about it, I'm gonna go with the first one and then answer the other ones separately. This one is gonna be inspired by High & Low The Worst
It was a calm and quiet morning as Jiang Yuelou, leader of the 天狗吃日 was sitting at his desk in his study, enjoying his morning coffee when one of his subordinates walked over to him.
“Boss” they greeted.  Jiang Yuelou looked up at them.
“Song Rong.  What is it?” he asked.  His subordinate, Song Rong, reached into his pocket and pulled out a small bottle full of red pills, placing it before him.
“Found this on one of the younger kids” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou frowned and reached out, picking up the bottle.
“The hell is this?” he asked.
“Redrum” Song Rong answered.  Jiang Yuelou looked up at him and raised an eyebrow.
“Redrum?” he repeated.  Song Rong nodded.
“Mm” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou shook his head.
“The hell is Redrum?” he demanded.  Song Rong hummed.
“If I remember correctly, it was originally sold as a source of income for Kuryu” he answered.  Jiang Yuelou frowned.
“Kuryu?  Never heard of ‘em” he stated.
“An old Japanese gang based out here in Jing City.  Another gang by the name of Doubt helped them with that” Song Rong explained.  Jiang Yuelou frowned.
“And you think this Doubt is pushing the Redrum?” he asked.  Song Rong shook his head.
“No, they were wiped out a while ago” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou hummed.
“How bad is it?” he asked.  Song Rong hummed.
“Pretty bad.  Almost as bad as opium” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou’s eyes widened.
“What?” he breathed.  Song Rong nodded.
“Mm” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou growled before he looked towards the door of his study.
“Zhan-xiong!” he shouted.  A moment later, another man stepped into the study and walked over to him, raising an eyebrow.
“You called?” he asked.  Jiang Yuelou nodded as he picked up the bottle of Redrum and handed it to him.
“You know your way around drugs.  Figure out who’s pushing this” he ordered.  The man, Zhan Junbai, reached out and took the bottle, holding it between his thumb and forefinger before he hummed.
“Redrum…haven’t seen this in a while.  I think I might still have some connections.  I’ll ask around” he declared.  Jiang Yuelou nodded.
“Go do that please” he requested.  Zhan Junbai nodded before he turned and headed out of the office as Jiang Yuelou looked at Song Rong.
“Anything else?” he asked.  Song Rong hummed.
“I heard this Redrum’s a problem in the 白龙 territory, on the other side of the city” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou raised an eyebrow.
“白龙?” he repeated.  Song Rong nodded.
“Mm.  While their name might be “The White Dragons”, really they’re known as the “Murder Corps”.  Everyone in that gang, save for the leader and a chosen few men, shaves their heads” he explained.  Jiang Yuelou hummed.
“How tough are they?” he asked.
“Ridiculously tough.  All of the members are strong but the leader…he’s the strongest” Song Rong explained.  Jiang Yuelou hummed again.
“I see.  I wonder if I’ll ever get to meet them one day” he murmured.  Song Rong shook his head.
“Going up against the 白龙 is a bad idea.  They’re ridiculously strong…or did you miss that part?” he asked.  Jiang Yuelou huffed.
“No, I heard you.  I’m just amazed that there’s someone out there who’s almost as strong as me” he murmured.  Song Rong hummed.
“Or stronger” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou tsked.
“Doubt it” he replied before he looked at him.
“Is that it?” he asked.  Song Rong nodded.
“Yes sir” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou nodded and waved his hand.
“Dismissed” he declared.  Song Rong nodded and headed out of the study as Jiang Yuelou sighed and picked up his cup of coffee, taking a sip.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Meanwhile, across town, in a large mansion, many baldheaded men dressed in grey suits were standing around in the foyer of the mansion when a young man dressed in a three-piece white suit stepped into the mansion, making all of the bald men look at him before they bowed 45 degrees.
“Good morning” they greeted, their voices a resounding echo.
“Good morning” the young man replied before he headed into the living room, where his right-hand and left-hand man, Yu Tangchun and Wang Meng, were waiting for him, both men dipping their heads to him.  He dipped his head to them in returned before he walked over to one of the chairs in the living room and sat down as the rest of the men followed him, all of them surrounding him in a half-circle.
“Forgive me for being late” he apologized, just as the left-hand man, Wang Meng stepped forward.
“We have a problem” he stated.  The young man and leader of the 白龙, Chen Yuzhi, raised an eyebrow.
“Oh?” he asked.  His right-hand man, Yu Tangchun, nodded as he placed a small bottle of Redrum on the coffee table before him.
“Redrum” he deadpanned.  Chen Yuzhi frowned and reached out, picking up the bottle before he looked up.
“Chu Min!” he called out.  Just then, a young boy quickly pushed his way through before he bowed.
“I still haven’t figured out where it’s from” he stated.  Chen Yuzhi hummed.
“Can you look into it a bit more?” he asked.  Chu Min nodded.
“Yes ge” he replied.  Chen Yuzhi nodded before he looked at a few of the baldheaded men.
“Go with him” he ordered.  The men nodded and quickly turned on their heels, waiting for Chu Min to head out first before they followed after him.  Once they were gone, Chen Yuzhi looked at Wang Meng.
“Follow him” he instructed.  Wang Meng nodded and quickly followed after them, another group of men following behind him until it was just Chen Yuzhi, Yu Tangchun, and another group of subordinates.
“Any other problems?” Chen Yuzhi asked.
“Hmm…there was a small fight with another gang, but it was taken care of.  Nothing for you to worry about” Yu Tangchun replied.  Chen Yuzhi nodded.
“Alright.  Thank you” he thanked before he waved his hand, Yu Tangchun and the others leaving the room as he shut his eyes and leaned his head back against the chair, letting out a heavy sigh.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Later that afternoon, Chen Yuzhi left the mansion and headed to a nearby elementary school, patiently waiting outside the gate till a little girl in a pink dress came running over to him.
“Gege!” she exclaimed, causing him to smile as he knelt down, his arms open wide as she ran into them, hugging him tightly.
“A-Ying” he greeted before he pulled away and stood to his feet, taking her hand before they both began to walk away from the school.
“So?  How was school?” he inquired.  The little girl, his younger sister Keying, nodded.
“It was good!” she replied.  Chen Yuzhi smiled.
“That’s good” he murmured.  They then began to cross the street and head to their usual snack shop to get a treat (as that was their afterschool routine) when a horn suddenly blared, making them both look up to see a car speeding towards them.
“LOOK OUT!” a voice shouted before arms suddenly wrapped around both of their waists and yanked them out of the path of the speeding car, both of them stumbling back before they turned to see Jiang Yuelou looking at them in concern.
“Are you two alright?” he demanded.  Chen Yuzhi blinked before he nodded slowly as Keying sniffled, her bottom lip beginning to wobble.  At her sniffle, both Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi’s eyes widened before they knelt before her, Chen Yuzhi shaking his head.
“It’s okay.  You’re okay” he soothed, reaching out to gently wipe away the tears streaming down her face before he looked over at Jiang Yuelou.
“Thank you” he thanked.  Jiang Yuelou’s eyes widened before he smiled and nodded.
“No problem” he replied.  They both then stood to their feet as Jiang Yuelou motioned to the snack shop.
“Are you still going?  I’ll walk with you” he offered.  Chen Yuzhi blinked before he dipped his head.
“Thank you” he thanked before he looked at Keying.
“Come on, A-Ying.  Let’s go get your snack” he declared.  Keying nodded before the three of them crossed the road, safely reaching the snack shop on the other side.  They then stepped inside, Keying quickly grabbing a drink and a snack while Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi only grabbed drinks, Jiang Yuelou paying for all of them.
“What…you didn’t have to do that—” Chen Yuzhi started when Jiang Yuelou smiled.
“I know.  But I don’t mind” he replied before he handed Keying her snack and drink and Chen Yuzhi his drink, smiling again.
“I know a nice park nearby” he stated.  Chen Yuzhi nodded before they headed out of the snack shop, the three of them heading to the park that Jiang Yuelou talked about.  They then headed to a nice shady spot, the three of them sitting down before Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi cracked open their drinks while Keying ate her snack, just enjoying the peaceful moment.  After she had eaten, Keying looked at Chen Yuzhi.
“Gege, can I go play?” she asked.  Chen Yuzhi nodded.
“Don’t stray too far” he replied.  Keying nodded and ran off to go play with some of the other kids that were in the park as Chen Yuzhi looked over at Jiang Yuelou.
“I never got your name” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou looked back at him in surprise before he smiled.
“Jiang Yuelou.  And you?” he asked.  Chen Yuzhi dipped his head.
“Chen Yuzhi” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou hummed before he looked over to his right and motioned with his chin to Keying.
“Your kid?” he asked.  Chen Yuzhi shook his head.
“Sister” he corrected.  Jiang Yuelou hummed.
“She’s cute” he complimented.  Chen Yuzhi smiled.
“Yeah, she is” he agreed before he looked at Jiang Yuelou.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you around this part of town before” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou smiled.
“I was just walking, getting some fresh air” he explained.  Chen Yuzhi nodded slowly before he looked at him.
“Thank you for pulling us out of the way of that car” he thanked.  Jiang Yuelou shook his head.
“Not a problem.  It was their fault anyways; you had the right of way” he stated.  Chen Yuzhi hummed.
“Still” he murmured.  Jiang Yuelou hummed as well before silence fell over them and they just opted to watch Keying play with the other children, neither man saying anything for a while before Chen Yuzhi looked over at Jiang Yuelou.
“Have you ever stood at the top?” he asked.  Jiang Yuelou raised an eyebrow before he hummed.
“No.  But I will soon.  What about you?” he replied.  Chen Yuzhi was quiet before he looked away and stared at Keying.
“I’m…still not there” he admitted.  Jiang Yuelou hummed.
“I see.  So neither of us are there yet” he murmured before he pushed himself to his feet and looked at him.
“Best of luck, Yuzhi.  And tell Keying I said goodbye” he requested.  Chen Yuzhi looked back at him before he smiled slightly and dipped his head.
“I will” he assured.  Jiang Yuelou smiled and nodded before he turned and slipped away, Chen Yuzhi watching him walk away before he turned his attention back to Keying, a small smile on his face.
~*~*~*~*~*~
A little while later, when Chen Yuzhi and Keying returned to the mansion, all of the skinheads bowed to them as Wang Meng walked over to Chen Yuzhi.
“Chu Min and I are gonna do a quick patrol tonight, just to make sure there’s no selling going on” he stated.  Chen Yuzhi nodded as Keying looked up at him.
“Can I go with them, gege?” she asked.  Chen Yuzhi’s eyes widened and he shook his head.
“Absolutely not.  It’s too dangerous and besides, it’s a school night” he stated.  Keying pouted.
“Please I wanna see what Uncle meng and Chu Min do!  I wanna see what it’s like!” she exclaimed.  Chen Yuzhi shook his head again.
         “No—” he started.
“Oh, let her come, Yuzhi” Wang Meng insisted, causing Chen Yuzhi to look at him with wide eyes.
“Wang Meng, she is a child” he hissed.  Wang Meng huffed.
“And we’re just doing a simple patrol.  We’ll be back in like an hour.  If Chu Min and I are with her, it’ll be fine” he assured.  Chen Yuzhi made a face before he sighed heavily.
“Fine” he grumbled, making Keying grin and throw her arms around him.
“Thank you gege!” she exclaimed.  Chen Yuzhi hummed and gently patted her head.
“Just be careful and listen to whatever Wang Meng and Chu Min tell you, understand?” he instructed.  Keying nodded.
“Yes gege!” she replied.  Chen Yuzhi nodded.
         “Good girl” he praised.
~*~*~*~*~*~
That evening, on the other side of town, Song Rong was doing his nightly patrol when a bunch of skinheads with metal pipes suddenly surrounded him, causing him to frown.
“Who the fuck are you guys?” he demanded.  One of the skinheads, who was wearing a white hoodie, looked at him.
“You’re from the 天狗吃日, right?” they replied.  Song Rong frowned.
“What?” he asked.  Just then, one of the skinheads struck him in the head with a wrench, sending him into a nearby pile of trash, causing him to clutch at his head in pain before he swiped a bunch of trash at the skinheads, all of them stepping back to avoid getting hit.
“With you around, we can’t do our job” the hooded skinhead snarled.  Song Rong looked up at them with narrowed eyes.
“Huh?” he asked.  The hooded skinhead then tilted his head.
“Why don’t you get lost?” he suggested before he motioned for the others to attack, one of the men throwing a pipe at Song Rong, which he quickly dodged before he rushed at another skinhead and punched them in the face, just as another skinhead came up behind him and grabbed him, holding him in place as the man with the white hoodie took a pipe and struck him in the stomach with it, causing him to cry out in pain.
“Hurts, doesn’t it?” he sneered before he grabbed Song Rong by the hair and threw him into the pile of trash again, Song Rong quickly catching him before he grabbed a nearby crate full of beer bottles and threw it at the men, the men step siding it as the bottles shattered against the wall behind them.  One of the men then rushed at him, but he quickly dodged their attack before he took off running, only to have another skinhead whack him in the back with a metal pipe, sending him to the ground as the other skinheads practically descended upon him like a pack of wolves and began practically beating the hell out of him.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Wang Meng, Keying, and Chu Min were doing their patrol, Keying’s hand held tightly in Wang Meng’s.
“Uncle Meng, this is boring…” Keying whined, causing Wang Meng to laugh softly.
“You’re the one who wanted to come” he reminded.  Keying pouted.
“I know, but I thought we’d be doing something cool…not just walking around” she grumbled.  Chu Min smiled.
“Sorry Keying, but that’s what patrolling means” he stated.  Keying hummed, just as Wang Meng stopped, making her and Chu Min look up to see two men dressed in all black with bandanas over their faces and bats in their hands standing before them.
“Who the fuck are you?” Wang Meng demanded.
“We’re from the 天狗吃日” one of the men replied.  Chu Min frowned.
“天狗吃日?  On this side of town?” he murmured.  Just then, more people dressed in black with bats in their hands came running up behind them, causing Keying to turn before she let out a scream, alerting Wang Meng and Chu Min of the oncoming attackers.  Wang Meng then let go of her hand and looked at her.
“Run Keying!  Run!” he barked.  Keying nodded and took off running as one of the men in black pointed at her.
“Grab the girl!” he ordered, causing Keying’s eyes to widen before she began running even harder, two men chasing after her.  While she was running for her life, Wang Meng and Chu Min began fighting off the goons, Wang Meng absolutely taking anyone who got too close to him down while Chu Min did his best to hold his own against one goon.  However, he was still young and wasn’t as strong as Wang Meng, so him going against an adult was kind of an unfair fight, especially one where the adult had a fucking metal pipe.  The adult from 天狗吃日 then whacked him in the arm with the pipe, causing him to scream before he kicked him into some metal barrels, making Wang Meng turn and look at him with wide eyes.
“Chu Min!” he shouted.  He then began to run towards him when one of the 天狗吃日 members whacked him in the back with a crowbar, sending him to the ground before pouncing on him, pressing the crowbar to his neck.  Wang Meng, however, still had fight in him and was able to push the crowbar away before he reached up and yanked the bandana away from his attacker’s face, narrowing his eyes.
“I’ll remember you” he growled.  The man laughed.
“Like hell you will” he sneered.  Wang Meng growled before he punched him in the face, sending him off of him before he began to push himself up, only to have more 天狗吃日 members run over to him and cover him with a blanket before they began to beat the absolute hell out of him.  Just then, Yu Tangchun and a few other skinheads, who were also out on patrol, noticed the fight before Yu Tangchun growled.
“What the hell is going on?!” he roared.  At his roar, the 天狗吃日 members looked at them before they rushed off, a few of the skinheads running after them as Yu Tangchun ran over to Wang Meng and yanked off the blanket, only to see that Wang Meng was a bloody mess.
“Wang Meng!” he exclaimed, just as Chu Min, who was clutching his arm, ran over to them, his eyes wide.
“Meng-ge!” he cried.  Yu Tangchun then reached out and touched the blood that was pooling around Wang Meng’s head, letting out a low growl before he looked at the others.
“Call an ambulance!” he barked.  One of the skinheads nodded and pulled out their phone, dialing 110 while Yu Tangchun looked around, frowning.
“Where’s Keying?” he murmured before he looked at Chu Min.
“Where the hell’s Keying?!” he demanded.  Chu Min’s eyes widened before he shook his head.
“I don’t know!  Meng-ge told her to run and then two guys chased after her…I think they grabbed her” he replied.  Yu Tangchun let out another growl before he slapped his hand on the ground.
         “Shit” he hissed.
~*~*~*~*~*~
The next morning, on Jiang Yuelou’s side of the city, Jiang Yuelou was sitting in his study, reading a book when Zhan Junbai walked in.
“Got some information on your Redrum suppliers” he called out, making Jiang Yuelou look up and raise an eyebrow.
         “Oh yeah?  Who?” he asked.
“Two brothers by the name of Sun.  Sun Heying and Sun Heming.  They’re leading a gang called Kidra” Zhan Junbai answered, sitting down on the edge of Jiang Yuelou’s desk.  Jiang Yuelou hummed.
“Kidra…never heard of ‘em” he stated.  Zhan Junbai huffed.
“Not surprised.  They’re an up-and-coming gang; came from Hong Kong” he explained.  Jiang Yuelou raised an eyebrow.
“A Hong Kong based gang?” he asked.  Zhan Junbai shook his head.
“That’s just where the brothers are from.  Everyone apart of their gang is local” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou nodded slowly.
“And they’re the ones pushing this Redrum?” he asked.  Zhan Junbai nodded.
“So I’ve heard” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou hummed.
“Kidra…” he murmured before he looked at him.
“How’s Song Rong?” he asked.  Zhan Junbai sighed.
“Resting.  He was beaten pretty badly and he got a few stitches to the wound to his head” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou hummed as he looked at him.
“But you know what he told me?” he asked.  Jiang Yuelou raised an eyebrow.
         “Hmm?” he replied.
“All of the guys who attacked him were bald and wearing grey suits” Zhan Junbai stated.  Jiang Yuelou frowned.
“Bald and grey suits…” he started, just as one of his younger subordinates ran into the study, his eyes wide.
“Boss!” he exclaimed.  Zhan Junbai and Jiang Yuelou looked at him.
“Xiao Hei?  What is it?” Jiang Yuelou asked.
“One of the kids just got cracked in the head by a bald guy in a grey suit!” Xiao Hei exclaimed.  Jiang Yuelou’s eyes widened and he put his book down as Xiao Hei walked over to him and handed him a piece of paper.
“And they gave him this” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou frowned and took the paper before he opened it, looking it over.
“We’ll crush everyone who gets in the way of our business.  We’ll settle this with you tomorrow.  白龙” he read aloud.  Zhan Junbai and Xiao Hei looked at him in surprise.
         “白龙?!” they exclaimed.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Meanwhile, on Chen Yuzhi’s side of the city, at the hospital, in the ICU, Wang Meng was hooked up to various machines, unconscious, with an oxygen mask over his face while Chen Yuzhi sat outside, holding Wang Meng’s bloody jacket in his hands, clutching the fabric tightly.  While he sat outside the ICU, Yu Tangchun and the other members of the 白龙 were in Chu Min’s hospital room, Yu Tangchun leaning against the wall with his arms crossed in front of him.
“天狗吃日.  That’s what they said?” he asked.  Chu Min nodded.
“Mm” he replied.  Yu Tangchun frowned.
“Aren’t they on the other side of the city?  Why would they come all this way to pick a fight on our side?” he demanded.  Chu Min shook his head.
         “I don’t know” he replied.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Back in Jiang Yuelou’s study, Zhan Junbai frowned.
“So…this is their doing” he murmured.  Xiao Hei nodded.
“Sounds like a declaration of war” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou shook his head.
“I don’t know why they would want to start fighting now…we’ve never had trouble with them before” he murmured.  Zhan Junbai huffed.
“Seems like they’re picking a fight with us, beating up our men like this” he muttered.  Xiao Hei nodded.
“Maybe they want to take our territory too” he mused.  Jiang Yuelou tsked.
“Doesn’t matter why they started this fight…if they want a fight, they’ll get a fucking fight.  They injured Song Rong.  This is fucking personal.  We’re going” he growled.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Back in the hospital, Chen Yuzhi slowly made his way through the halls until he entered Chu Min’s hospital room, Wang Meng’s jacket still in his hand.
“Doesn’t matter why they decided to suddenly pick a fight.  Look what they did to Wang Meng!  They kidnapped my fucking sister!  If they think I’m going to let them get away with this, they’ve got another thing coming” he snarled before he looked at his men, all of whom looked back at him with fire in their eyes, all of them ready for a fight.
“Let’s crush the 天狗吃日” he declared.
~*~*~*~*~*~
The next day, Chen Yuzhi and his men traveled from one side of the city to the other, all of his men flanking behind him until they came to a deserted underpass, where Jiang Yuelou and the 天狗吃日 were waiting.  They then slowly began to approach the gang, their grey and white a stark contrast to Jiang Yuelou’s gang of all black.  As they slowly approached, Jiang Yuelou’s eyes widened in surprise.
“The hell?  Chen Yuzhi?” he whispered.  Zhan Junbai glanced over at him.
“What, you know him?” he asked.  Jiang Yuelou hummed before he began to slowly walk towards Chen Yuzhi and his gang, signaling the others to start walking as well.
“Chen Yuzhi!  I never thought you were from the 白龙” he called out.  Chen Yuzhi huffed.
“I’m surprised too.  I thought you were better than this” he called back.
“Alright guys!  Get fired up!” a 白龙 member shouted before they rushed at the 天狗吃日 members, Jiang Yuelou huffing in reply.
“Let’s go!” he shouted before he rushed at the opposite gang, the rest of his gang following behind as he suddenly hit the ground and knocked out five guys in one slide, hitting them either in their groan, stomach or sweeping their legs out from underneath them while the two gangs collided with each other, practically throwing each other around like ragdolls or hitting them down with one punch.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Meanwhile, while both gangs went at each other with vicious intensity, Chen Yuzhi just calmly watched with narrowed eyes until someone had the dumb idea of rushing up to him, only for him to swiftly punch them first in the face before hitting them repeatedly in the torso before finishing them with a swift jab to the stomach with his knee.
~*~*~*~*~*~
As he took out that one fool, in another part of the brawl, Zhan Junbai took out one skinhead with a flying kick to the face before taking out five other 白龙 members with quick punches to their faces or torsos, his punches and kicks swift and deadly.
“You’re different than the others.  Want to fight me?” a voice called out after the last man hit the ground, making him turn to see Yu Tangchun standing behind him, a small smirk on his face.  He then eyed him up and down before he huffed.
“It’ll be an easy win” he declared.  Yu Tangchun laughed before his eyes turned hard.
“Don’t flatter yourself” he sneered.  Zhan Junbai smirked before he rushed towards him, first punching him in the face before kneeing him in the stomach, only to have Yu Tangchun block the hit before retaliating with a kick to the torso.
~*~*~*~*~*~
As the intense and violent fighting between the two gangs, neither of whom were showing any mercy to the other, continued, Chu Min, who still had his arm bandaged and in a sling, suddenly ran into the fight, causing Chen Yuzhi to look over at him with wide eyes, just as someone kicked him in the head, causing him to stumble back before he looked over to see Jiang Yuelou glaring at him.
“Don’t look away!” he shouted.  Chen Yuzhi’s eyes widened before he huffed.
“Die once and repent for your sins” he hissed.  Jiang Yuelou tsked.
“I didn’t do anything” he spat.  They then slowly began to make their way towards each other before they suddenly picked up momentum and met each other head on, meeting each other blow for blow.  Their fight was so intense that it pretty much caused all fighting around them to cease, both 白龙 and 天狗吃日 members watching to see which leader would win.  As they fought, throwing deadly punches and kicks at each other, Chu Min watched helplessly before he shook his head.
“Ge!  Ge stop!” he shouted.  However, Chen Yuzhi and Jiang Yuelou were too engrossed in their fighting to hear him, causing him to bite his lip before he took a deep breath.
“WANG MENG WOKE UP!” he shouted.  At his shout, Chen Yuzhi stopped and looked over at him with wide eyes, just as Jiang Yuelou kicked him in the chest, sending him flying before he hit the ground with a crash, causing him to cough and clutch at his chest while everyone around them gasped.  No one had ever beaten Chen Yuzhi in a fight before.  Jiang Yuelou then looked at him before he huffed softly and walked over to him, holding out his hand to him.
“Told you not to look away” he teased.  Chen Yuzhi looked up at him before he tsked and reached out, taking his hand.  Jiang Yuelou then began to pull him up but before he knew what was happening, Chen Yuzhi yanked him down before he grabbed him and flipped him, pinning him down with a knee to his chest.
“Now we’re even” he declared.  Jiang Yuelou looked up at him with wide eyes before he laughed and nodded, Chen Yuzhi smiling slightly before he pushed himself to his feet, helping Jiang Yuelou to his before he looked over at Chu Min.
“Now, what did you say?” he asked.  Chu Min looked at him with wide eyes.
“Wang Meng woke up!  And he said it wasn’t the 天狗吃日 who attacked us” he stated.
Chen Yuzhi frowned.
“How does he know that for sure?” he demanded.  Chu Min hummed.
“He said the man that attacked him has no left eyebrow and buzzed bleach blonde hair” he replied.  Chen Yuzhi frowned before he looked over at Jiang Yuelou.
“You don’t have any members that look like that, do you?” he asked.  Jiang Yuelou shook his head.
“No” he replied.  Chen Yuzhi hummed before he looked back at Chu Min.
“Then if it wasn’t the 天狗吃日 who attacked us…then who did?” he demanded.
“My guess is, the Sun brothers” Zhan Junbai stated, walking over to stand beside Jiang Yuelou.  Chen Yuzhi looked at him and frowned.
“The Sun brothers?” he repeated.  Zhan Junbai nodded.
“They run a gang by the name of Kidra.  They’re the ones who have been pushing the Redrum, so they probably want us out of their way” he explained.  Chen Yuzhi nodded slowly before he turned and looked at both gangs.
“It’s over.  Let’s go home” he declared.  The 白龙 members nodded.
“Yes sir!” they shouted.  They then began to make their way back to the train station as Chen Yuzhi sighed heavily.
“So…they’re the ones who beat up Wang Meng…” he murmured.  Chu Min nodded.
“And the ones who probably took Keying” he stated, causing Jiang Yuelou’s eyes to widen in horror.
“Keying’s gone?!” he exclaimed.  Chen Yuzhi looked over at him and nodded.
“When Chu Min and Wang Meng were heading out to patrol, Keying wanted to go with them.  I refused at first, but Wang Meng said it would be okay…” he started before he shook his head.
“I should have never…” he started when Jiang Yuelou shook his head.
“You didn’t know” he soothed before he reached out and patted his arm.
“But don’t worry.  You’ll get her back” he promised.  Chen Yuzhi nodded.
“I hope so” he murmured before he looked at him.
“I’m glad to know…that it wasn’t you” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou smiled.
“Likewise” he agreed.  Chen Yuzhi smiled slightly before he took Chu Min by the arm and began guiding him away, the remaining skinheads following after him.  After they left, Jiang Yuelou let out a shuddering breath and nearly collapsed has Zhan Junbai not surged forward and caught him.
“Easy, Jiang-xiong, easy” he murmured.  Jiang Yuelou sighed heavily.
         “Let’s go home” he declared.
~*~*~*~*~*~
A few days later, after everyone had recovered, Jiang Yuelou sat in his study, quietly thinking when Song Rong, who had fully recovered, and Zhan Junbai walked in.
“So…what’s the plan, boss?” Song Rong asked.  Jiang Yuelou looked at him before he huffed.
“What else?  To put a stop to this Kidra so that Redrum doesn’t spread and cause any more problems…and wipe them out entirely” he declared.  Zhan Junbai and Song Rong nodded.
“When do you want to go?” Zhan Junbai asked.  Jiang Yuelou looked at them before he pushed himself to his feet.
“Gather the boys.  We’re going now” he declared.
~*~*~*~*~*~
A little while later, Jiang Yuelou and the rest of his subordinates arrived at Kidra’s hideout, a place that Zhan Junbai so lovely coined “Murder Towers”.
“So, this is the place?” Jiang Yuelou asked.  Zhan Junbai hummed, just as Chen Yuzhi and his subordinates arrived, stopping just a few feet away from them.
“We’ll be the ones to settle this” Chen Yuzhi called out, making Jiang Yuelou look over at him before he laughed and shook his head.
“No way.  I can’t let that happen” he argued as Zhan Junbai looked over at them.
“Just come over and join us” he suggested.  Chen Yuzhi was quiet as Yu Tangchun looked at him.
“Yuzhi…” he started when Jiang Yuelou looked over at him.
“What’ll it be, Yuzhi?” he called out.  Chen Yuzhi looked at him before he huffed and walked over to him, standing beside him.
“Fine” he acquiesced, causing Jiang Yuelou to smile as he looked over at him.
“By the way, Wang Meng has a request” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou hummed.
         “Name it” he replied.
“Since he can’t be here, he wants someone to take out the man who attacked him.  You know, the one with the no left eyebrow and buzzed bleached hair?” Chen Yuzhi asked.  Jiang Yuelou nodded before he looked over at Song Rong.
“Song Rong.  You up for it?” he asked.  Song Rong nodded.
“Leave it to me” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou nodded again before he looked at the blockade in front of the rundown apartment building.
         “Open the gate!” he barked.
“Yes sir!” his subordinates replied before they, as well as a few of Chen Yuzhi’s subordinates, rushed forward and removed the blockade as Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi began to walk forward, Jiang Yuelou kicking down the gate before they stepped inside, their subordinates following behind.  As they walked into the dilapidated housing unit, Kidra members with weapons practically slunk out of apartments and walked out into the open, causing Jiang Yuelou to hum softly.
“Looks like the cockroaches are crawling out of the woodworks” he murmured before he looked over at Chen Yuzhi.
“I’ll go and try and find Keying.  Don’t get hurt” he ordered.  Chen Yuzhi glanced back at him and smirked before he turned and looked at the gang members before them, letting out a snarl.
“LET’S GO!” he screamed.  Behind him, both gangs roared in agreement before they took off and rushed at the Kidra gang members, Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi quickly taking off as well.  The two gangs then collided with each other, fists and feet flying, and as they fought, the 白龙 and the 天狗吃日 soon began to realize that there was something wrong with the Kidra members.  No matter how much they kicked, punched, smacked, knocked down, or even threw them over the railings…they just kept coming back.  Like it was nothing.
“What the hell is wrong with these guys?!” a 白龙 member shouted.
~*~*~*~*~*~
After fighting for a while, it seemed like Kidra was winning until both the 白龙 and the 天狗吃日 started to think smarter and use the tools they had around them, because fists obviously weren’t cutting it.  Once they finally started using the tools around them, they were able to push back against Kidra and actually began to kick some ass until at one point, they were able to create a sort of way for Jiang Yuelou to get up into the apartment building.
“Jiang-xiong!  Go!” Zhan Junbai shouted.  Jiang Yuelou nodded before he quickly jumped up and ran across the human ladder, quickly jumping up onto a platform before pulling himself up over the railing onto a floor of the apartment.  Once he was on the floor of the apartment building, he took off running, careful to avoid the Kidra members who were after him.  While he was running from Kidra, the 白龙 and the 天狗吃日 looked at each other before they nodded and also began to climb up the ladders that were on the side of the building, soon reaching the apartment floors where Kidra members had taken sanctuary.  As soon as they had reached the apartment floor, they began taking out Kidra members left and right, showing them no mercy, as they were the ones who caused trouble for them in the first place.  As they continued to fight, Yu Tangchun and a couple of other skinheads easily took down a few Kidra members before Yu Tangchun grabbed a metal pipe and smacked it against the railing, causing all of the members to look at him with wide eyes as he smirked.
“We’re here.  The 白龙 murderers” he purred, causing all of the Kidra members to look at him in fear as he dropped the pipe and motioned to them.
“Finish them off!” he barked.  The skinheads nodded and quickly rushed at the Kidra members as Yu Tangchun turned and walked away, only to be stopped by Zhan Junbai, who smirked at him.
“My my, you are more than just a pretty face” he observed, causing Yu Tangchun to chuckle.
“I’m not Chen Yuzhi’s right-hand man for nothing” he replied before his eyes turned cold.
“Shall we?” he asked, motioning to the hoard of Kidra members before them.  Zhan Junbai smirked.
“Let’s” he replied before they turned and rushed off to go kick some more ass.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Meanwhile, Jiang Yuelou continued to punch and kick his way through all of the Kidra members coming at him while trying to find Keying.
‘Damn it, where is she?’ he wondered to himself before he turned down a hallway, only to be cornered by three Kidra members, one of the members hitting him in the back of the head, sending him to the ground.  The member that hit him then smirked as he looked at the others.
“Hold him” he barked.  The other two members nodded and quickly grabbed Jiang Yuelou, yanking him off the ground as the Kidra member reached into his pocket and pulled out a switchblade, flicking it open before he rushed at Jiang Yuelou, only to have Song Rong suddenly appear out of nowhere and grab the member’s wrist in one hand while punching him with the other, sending him flying back into a nearby wall.  He then rushed over to the man and grabbed him by the front of the shirt, pinning him to the wall as he turned and looked at Jiang Yuelou.
“Boss, go” he ordered.  Jiang Yuelou nodded and quickly knocked the two men holding him unconscious before he rushed off as the man Song Rong was pinning the wall growled.
“Don’t fuck with me!” he shouted before he surged forward and smacked Song Rong in the head with his head, causing Song Rong to stumble back slightly before he smirked and slammed the man into the wall again.
“I was told to give you a message.  Remember that白龙 member you beat into a coma?” he asked.  The Kidra member’s eyes widened as Song Rong smirked.
“Well, he said to say hello” he purred before he moved his hand from the front of his shirt to his neck before he slammed his head into the wall, knocking him unconscious.
~*~*~*~*~*~
While Song Rong was taking care of the Kidra member that attacked Wang Meng, Jiang Yuelou burst into a nearby room and looked around.
“Keying!” he shouted, just as a few drug makers rushed at him, causing him to growl and punch them in the face before he rushed through the drug den, more drug makers rushing at him.
“Get out of my way, damn it!” he shouted.  He then quickly took them out, one by one, before he was left alone in a room with bodies all around him.
         “Keying!” he called out again.
“Ge—” a young voice shouted before it was suddenly muffled, causing Jiang Yuelou’s eyes to widen before he rushed into a nearby room to see the two brothers, Sun Heming and Sun Heying, holding Keying in between them, Sun Heying pressing a knife to Keying’s throat.
“Let her go” he growled.  Sun Heming laughed.
“Now why would we do that?  She’s going to be our new test subject on our latest batch” he declared before he reached out and grabbed a bottle of Redrum, opening it before he shook out a pill, holding it up for Keying and Jiang Yuelou to see before he turned towards Keying.
“Open wide” he ordered.  Keying’s eyes widened and she shook her head, trying to get away from him, just as Jiang Yuelou surged forward and kneed him in the stomach, causing him to bowl over before he turned and punched Sun Heying in the face, sending him flying into a nearby wall.  Once both men were unconscious, Jiang Yuelou huffed before he looked at Keying.
“You okay, sweetheart?” he asked.  Keying sniffled before she nodded and ran over to him, Jiang Yuelou’s arms going around her before he scooped her into his arms.
“I got you.  Come on, let’s go back to your brother” he murmured.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Outside, Chen Yuzhi and the others finished taking out the rest of the Kidra gang, causing all of the men to scream in delight that the fight was finally over, just as Jiang Yuelou, with Keying in his arms, came out to the railing, making Chen Yuzhi look up with wide eyes.
“Keying!” he exclaimed.  Keying looked back at him with teary eyes.
“Gege!” she called back.  Chen Yuzhi then looked at Jiang Yuelou, who smirked and nodded before he turned and began to make his way to the stairs, quickly making his way down before he and Keying made their way over to Chen Yuzhi, Jiang Yuelou placing Keying down so that she could run over to her brother, who quickly scooped her into his arms and spun her around.
“A-Ying” he breathed, hugging her tightly before he looked at Jiang Yuelou who smiled slightly.
“Thank you” he thanked.  Jiang Yuelou nodded.
“Mm” he replied.  Chen Yuzhi then sighed.
“I apologize.  For earlier.  I should have known better than to accuse you—” he started when Jiang Yuelou huffed.
“Hey, it’s not like I’m not guilty either.  My boys and I were out for blood” he reminded.
Chen Yuzhi laughed weakly.
“Can’t say that I wasn’t either” he murmured.  Jiang Yuelou chuckled before he patted him on the arm.
“Let’s call it a day, huh?  I’m tired” he declared.  Chen Yuzhi nodded.
         “Me too” he agreed.
~*~*~*~*~*~
A few days later, while Jiang Yuelou was walking around his side of Jing City, just enjoying the sun, someone appeared by his side, a small smile on their lips.
“You know…” they started, causing Jiang Yuelou to jump and look over with wide eyes to see Chen Yuzhi, who was dressed softer in a crème turtleneck and crème pants instead of his usual three-piece suit, smiling at him.
“…you really should be on your guard more” he teased.  Jiang Yuelou huffed.
“Jesus fucking Christ, Yuzhi.  Warn a guy” he grumbled.  Chen Yuzhi chuckled softly.
“Sorry.  Just thought I would surprise you” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou tsked.
“Yeah…ya sure did.  Nearly gave me a heart attack” he muttered.  Chen Yuzhi laughed softly again.
“Sorry” he apologized.  Jiang Yuelou then tilted his head.
“No Keying?” he asked.  Chen Yuzhi shook his head.
“No, she wants to keep Wang Meng company as he recovers” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou nodded.
“Mm.  How’s he doing?” he asked.  Chen Yuzhi nodded.
“He’s doing better.  Might be a while for him to come back but…he’s doing okay” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou hummed before he tilted his head.
“So…why’d you make the trip over?” he asked.  Chen Yuzhi’s eyes widened before he blushed.
“What, can’t I just drop by to say hi?” he asked.  Jiang Yuelou laughed.
“No…I’m happy you’re here” he assured before he crossed his arms.
“So, since you came all the way here…what would you like to do?” he asked.  Chen Yuzhi shrugged.
“I don’t know; I only came here once and it was to potentially kill you” he reminded.  Jiang Yuelou laughed again before he smiled.
“Hmm…I know a place.  Follow me” he instructed.  He then began walking, Chen Yuzhi quickly following him until they reached a very tall, mountainous area, where they could look down and see the entirety of Jing City.
“Oh…wow” Chen Yuzhi breathed, causing Jiang Yuelou to smile as he looked at him.
“Remember how you asked me if I had ever stood at the top?” he asked.  Chen Yuzhi blinked before he nodded.
“Mm” he replied.  Jiang Yuelou motioned to the city beneath them.
“Well, now you can say that you’ve stood at the top” he declared.  Chen Yuzhi’s eyes widened before he laughed, a delightfully beautiful sound to Jiang Yuelou’s ears, and looked at him, smiling.
“And now you can say that you’ve stood at the top as well” he stated.  Jiang Yuelou chuckled and nodded.
“Yeah…I guess so” he agreed.  They both then turned their attention back to the city below, their shoulders touching as the sun softly caressed their faces and the wind blew through their hair.
