MCC 21 Viewership statistics! Detailed graphs + analysis below the cut :D

Total Viewership Over Time

Peak viewership was 424,196 viewers at 8:53PM on the cusp of Grid Runners and Rocket Spleef Rush, the third and fourth games of the event. That sharp drop during Dodgebolt is the result of Dream going offline  and the boost at the end is his raid to Sapnap. Viewer retention was about 92.67% (424.2K -> 396.1K). That is basing retention off of the moment before the sharp drop in Dodgebolt. If you base it on the peak after Dream's raid goes through, it's closer to 86.35% (424.2K -> 366.3K). Either way, pretty good! Dodgebolt drop off was somewhere around 35.8K (378.9K -> 343.1K) or about 10% of viewers. (This is a very rough estimate given how weird and jumpy the numbers recorded in DB are.)

Team Viewership Over Time

SO consistent this time around, hardly any bumps or dips anywhere. The weird dip and peak on Green's line prior to the start of Survival Games is Dream raiding himself from his alt. I recorded both channel's viewership for completeness! The dip and bump during Survival Games is from Tommy. Unclear to me why, though. He bungees 17.6K viewers in about four minutes. Might be Twitch's API having a fit.

Individual Viewership Over Time

Again! Not much going on. Grian's line is fun as always - smoother as a result of streaming on YouTube instead of Twitch, which has a more responsive (albeit difficult) API. Phil (orange line towards the bottom, in the mess of lines) gets a boost during Rocket Spleef.

Viewership By Game

Same disclaimer as last time, the beginning and end times of games are very loose. I double checked the SG time and it appears correct so I guess this MCC just took a bit longer for people to trickle in, but to be fair a few minutes can make a huge difference. This is the second time SOT has had a positive increase in viewers, impressive especially as a second-half game. Unlike the last time I did this, the second and third games have a positive value rather than negative. Otherwise, reasonably consistent with last time.

Median % Viewership

Look at that 1/3 domination by Pink! The fun thing about having a bunch of very popular/big streamers on the same team is we get to see how much their audiences overlap, and from the looks of it not a ton for both Pink and Green. Not a surprise. I think last time (either in the post, or comments) it was speculated that MCC20's lower viewership was because no member of the Dream Team was playing (and Grian was missing as well). I think this very unscientifically contributes to that theory. If the Dteam's audiences watched MCC no matter what and watched someone else last event we would see a decrease in the viewership of people they'd watched instead. It's up to debate who would have served as a replacement for those viewers but I don't see any suspicious declines. Feel free to fight me on this, though.

Median % By Group

This might be the first time any subgroup has netted 10% of viewership away from DSMP. This is probably because Grian and Scar were a highly anticipated duo for this event and combined got about 9% of total viewership.

Individual Peak Viewership

Dark sections represent median viewership, and the light section is the difference between median and peak. The curve is a little less exponential this time! The top ten fought eachother harder.

Including this as a follow up to last time, mostly. I am dubious of the worth of this metric lol but I think it's interesting and fun. The column on the far right shows what percent the peak was of the median of a given streamer. So, Snifferish's peak viewership was 718% of her median, telling us that they either gained or lost a lot of viewers at some point (in this case it was because of the Dodgebolt boost).

There is not a single repeat person on the line up here. Not one.  Dream having the smallest % difference between his median and peak makes sense to me seeing how his fans are (the majority of the event was streaming on Dream, not dreamwastaken though it's an honor he claims either way). Very interesting that both times the bottom five has included someone with top ten viewership.

Notably, Ranboo is not in the bottom 5 anymore when last time he was 3rd (107%). Might be a fault of circumstance - Ranboo was streaming well before the event start, meaning he was acting as a "pre-show" for a portion of those watching. You can see on the individual viewership graph how he peaks around the event start and then goes back down to where he was before, presumably because those who were watching him as "pre-show" left to go watch their intended streamer. They were replaced by Ranboo viewers, but not in enough numbers to maintain that peak number. This event he was 11th, with 117%. YouTube streamers are potentially at a loss here too. YouTube's API is much more sensitive which will affect the depth of dips and height of peaks, giving us a more accurate read of what was going on but also making it difficult to directly compare with Twitch streamers.

Techno has a special place in my heart.

He was the first myct i watched. I began watching him shortly after i switched schools, and had lost all my friends.

It was weird, because at that time he was streaming on the dsmp daily.

His streams always started when school had ended, or around last hour, and because i was virtual i would tune in to the streams while wrapping up my day, then spend the rest of the afternoon drawing with the stream on in the background.

I quickly picked up several little quirks from him due to spending so much time watching him, such as saying "bruhhh" or "yooooo" in daily conversation. He introduced me to Wilbur, tommy and ranboo, who, while i liked, weren't my favorites. Technoblade claimed that spot.

Every upload and stream brought me so much joy, i always had to stand up and stim a while before i watched it. I drew som much fanart, i had so many headcannons. I customized a pig plush to be a Techno plush. I dressed as him on Halloween. [The crown rests on my lamp, the axe and cape hang from the back of my door]

So of course, his death hit me hard.

The moment i found out is probably one of the most vivid memories i have. I couldn't say anything. I just. I just watched. I saw Floof walk up to that chair and part of me knew it was over, Techno was gone. The pictures of Wilbur and Phil and others hanging out with him broke me. I remember clutching my favorite stuffie and sobbing.

My parents know how much he ment to me, and have told me that they're willing to donate to charities or buy merch that would help his family and other sarcoma patients. [I have no income of my own, sadly.]

At the time of his death i had been in the hermitcraft fandom a few months, and i wasn't as interested in dsmp anymore. Im also going to a new school, and the anxiety over what people might think if they know i like dsmp, mixed with a sort of guilt that maybe they're right, i am supporting horrible people, has driven me away.

While i remain subscribed to a few dsmp members, i haven't been watching their videos. Part of me doesn't care for it anymore.

Im sure I'll still keep up with lovejoy, and i may watch Wilbur rant about ace race during mcc, or check out the occasional tommy or Ranboo upload, but i think im done here.

Technoblades death was the final nail in the coffin for an interest that i was already falling away from. I was already thinking about officially "leaving" but after the news broke about Techno, i really have no reason to stay. Lore seems to be slowing down, and Tech was one of the main reasons i was there anyway, so it seems appropriate to leave now.

I don't hate the dsmp, i have nothing against it, im just moving on. It feels bittersweet. This fandom has brought me into new communites and has helped me make new friends [and maybe cope with some trauma along the way]

I honestly don't think I'd still be here if not for Technoblade. He helped me so much. I miss him a lot. I feel like i carry a little bit of him with me with the little quirks and phrases i picked up from him, and i wont let that die anytime soon.

why mcyttwt does not think some (if not most) of the time when it comes to mcc

if i post this in twitter, i’d surely get hated upon but someones gotta have to say this one day. also this does not target to mcytblr!!! this rant is more of towards mcyttwt!!!

remember how mcyt was so chill before all of this shit? how we would watch our favorite minecraters when the community was so small? or how mcc was an event that both ccs and fans can have some fun and entertainment once per month? and that was only last year too. now look at the new generation of mcyt fans and see why some of the old fans dont really associate the new ones.

as a fan of the old gen mcytbers like DanTDM, SkyDoesMinecraft, Aphmau and CaptainSparklez. heck im a fan of pewds’ minecraft series before dream or tommy or ranboo or the new gen of mcyt ccs blew up (a year before them if im correct), and we dont see drama or bad shit all the time when it comes to their content.

now compare that to the new gen where every single fucking day, a bored fan or anti would post shit drama in twitter where some of the people from twitter moved to tumblr just to not get a headache from the batshit craziness mcyttwt brought forth. and it just snapped more when the mccp21 rolled in.

heres some of my takes about the mccp21 issue:

1) “there’s a lack of representation of lgbtq+ in the teams!!!”

heres something to tell yall about that. scott doesnt have a fucking choice. scott smajor has told time and time again, WEEKS before the announcement of teams, that there are certain requirements and limitations to mccp21 thus there will be difficulty in choosing whos entering or whos not. limitations and requirements such as it will be streamed on youtube or how streamers with twitch contracts aren’t allowed to stream or (god bless scott’s good heart) scott not allowing some of the lgbtq+ streamers in joining the special event due to wanting them to have a chance to stream and experience their first mcc (so to those who said that ranboo should have been in mccp21, shut up ‘cuz scott wanted genderman to have fun streaming his first mcc but cant due to ranboo being a well-known twitch streamer). to those who complained that ant and velvet should be in the mcc, stop being selfish and do some actual research on why scott didn’t include them. a simple question to those two’s fans would answer that they can’t make it due to them camping for a week which within those days is the mccp21. they’re having time to themselves, not wasting it on a minecraft championship. 

take in the consideration that, oh i dont know, not a lot of lgbtq+ ccs applied to the event? its not a free invite championship (in fact, mcc has always been like that), it’s an applied with the sufficient and correct requirements kind of event. the artist who created the icons from the previous mcc for the teams said that scott let in some of the new ccs in last minutes due to lack of applicants not meeting the requirements thus not having custom artworks for the teams if they want to announce the teams in time.

2.) “there’s no lesbians or trans in the teams >:(((”

sadly enough, there’s not much of the players from the lgbtq+ community but to say there’s no trans people in mccp21 is utterly false. by definition, trans mean  denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex. other genders such as non-binary, genderfluid, androgyne, bigender, gender expansive all fall under trans. you define yourself with the gender you personally chose and comfy with from you birth gender. so saying there’s no trans in the teams when there are players from the event like eret or sqaishey who are nb and genderfluid respectively are there to also represent not only the sexuality but also the gender identity of others??? like c’mon, please make sense mcyttwt. 

also, while its sad to not see lesbians, please know that lgbtq+ doesn’t strictly be defined by lesbians. ffs, lgbtq+ literally means Lesbians Gays Bisexuals Transgenders and Questioning (or Queer but im not too sure about that one) which means that there are still other representatives for the community in the event.

3) “technoblade is in the event?!!! WHAT THE FUCK, HES A HOMOPHOBE/LESBIPHOBE-”

utter clowns, toxic twitter users are. do you really think that scott smajor, an openly gay man, would let a supposed “homophobe/lesbiphobe” in an event that focuses in supporting the lgbtq+ community? do you hear yourself? do you even do research where the joke he made was when he was the same age as me and it was based on a historical article back in WW2? or how he passionately supports the community especially the lesbians because a lesbian couple complimented him to which kickstart his confidence? the man willingly went to this mcc event despite being flamed a lot in twitter because he (and everyone) knows that his chat, his fans and supporters, are literal millionaires. if you saw a stream from foolish where he auctioned canonical characters for funs, a techno fan donated thousand of dollars to get technoblade, and that’s only one fan, now imagine a hundreds of thousands of them.

like it or not, technoblade has always been open about his support to the community, especially that majority of his fanbase are from the same community that mcyttwt allegedly swore that technoblade hates.

4) “since this mccp21 is pointless because theres no dteam, quackity, punz or (insert cc name), let’s have a watch party of the previous mccs to spite mccp21!!!” “let’s hope (insert cc name) stream on the 26th so mccp21 doesnt have the same amount of viewership like before!!!” “where are (insert cc name)??? gosh, this mcc is so boring without them!!!”

shut up shut up shut up shut up shut the actual fuck up. are you really seriously hearing yourself? are you willing and proudly boycotting a once in a year special event that is seriously needed by the lgbtq+ community? are you that cruel and selfish to sacrifice a project that helped tons of people just for your sick entertainment and desires? are you that evil to stop others from enjoying and donating to the trevor project? are you that inconsiderate of other ccs that aren’t part of dsmp and calling them boring? and for what? because your favorite cishet streamer isn’t there? oh booofuckinghoo! you’re so fucking petty to even post about this kind of tweets in public.

(edit: did yall honestly thought that without your favorite streamers that the mcc is not worth watching because they aren't there? well let me tell you, im a ranboo fan. ive watched him when he first entered the dsmp and watched him spinning in his unicorn chair for 5 minutes. the boo community waited for so many months for genderman to join mcc yet we didn't even do that kind of disgusting action and behavior every time he isn't in mcc. 8 months. that's how long ive watched him. ive waited 8 months for him to be in the event yet i still watch other povs like tommy's, puffy's, wilbur's, and etc., because it's fun and entertaining to watch them despite the beloved not participating in the games.

if you're that spoiled to not even watch mcc because (insert cc whose not part of mccp21 name here) isn't part of the roster then you most likely have a one dimensional humor because there will always be someone more funny and entertaining than them. i like dsmp don't get me wrong, but i found parrot's school smp funnier than dsmp yet you don't see me insulting both series, do you? learn to keep yourself if you're calling ccs as boring or dull or not entertaining enough due to not having the same big platform as the dsmp members.)

you don’t deserve to call yourself a fan if you’re doing this kinds of actions. in fact, people like you should be kicked out from the mcyt community because your kind of people are the reason why we look so bad from the outside. your toxic and self-entitled to these content creators are the reason why famous ccs like sbi, purpled, tubbo and almost ranboo left twitter/implied strict rules to their subtwts. you drove out an entire friend group that tons of fans found comfort in from the platform and you still have the audacity to this kind of shit? honestly, just leave before you give me a headache.

what im sayin’ is that mcyttwt is one of the worst, if not THE worst, subtwts out of the other subtwts in twitter. having no actual research or evidences or spreading false information is common in twitter where you would have to take what they said with a micro size grain of salt. mcyttwt already ruined the fun and spirit of mcc during its comeback in mcc14 due to the glitch and beta testing shit (ey i still stand for the ranboo beta testing but i know that will be worthless since theres hints of him joining soon in mcc15). if you’re still in mcyttwt, i suggest to get out of there while you still can. we’ll never know if there’s a bigger shitstorm than this in the mcyttwt that may happen in the future.

edit! hi bella again, ive been told by a polite and cool user that not all people from mcyttwt are toxic and/or cruel. im going to clear something up here. ive written this during the heat of the announcement of mccp21 teams. so there's a lot of complains and/or entitled people in the app (you can even see it in my previous post too if you want evidences!) that gave off mostly negative vibes towards the event.

ive seen the cool ones who actually took the consideration for scott's side and the criticism of the lack of representation of other communities within the lgbtq+ umbrella (ive even share some parts of it above so im also a bit upset to the lack of numbers in the community). and some of them are correct about recruiting lgbtq+ creators in youtube but! like i said, it's an applied event and not invitational one, so its up to that content creator if they want to join or not. the amount of cishet in the roster are just those who want to support the cause and/or backups/stand-ins in case scott and noxcrew can't find enough ccs in time!

just wanna clear this up because mcyttwt these days are covered by really cringe fans (ive noticed a pattern of them mostly new ones but there are still awesome new fans (like my irl friend who just joined this year) within the community) that covered the good ones where they enjoy, have fun and share some neat ideas and thoughts to the community within the platform!

when i said to get out of the mcyttwt while you still can, i meant to get out of there to avoid drama (that is really small contrast those who really need to address the issue) and take a break from it. it's still your choice if you want to be surround by it or not or if you want to come back to the app. all im saying is to buckle up for the shitstorm cuz this is not the last time that the twitter side of mcyt will cause negativity to the community.

OH BOY DO I HAVE THE ANSWER FOR YOU!!!

First of all: Hermitcraft is essentially a series where a bunch of super talented and pretty longstanding mcyt-ers play on a single minecraft server for a period of a "season" and build absolutely fucking insane bases and vibe together. It's all very structured and organized so on every member's channel u'll find playlists for each season.

(oh and by longstanding mcyt-ers I mean literal pioneers in the mcyt community, people who have redstone inventions named after them bc they've been around longer than the redstone itself--etc)

The server is super chill!!! Everyone is very nice and they all get along super well and coordinate things on a discord server so that everyone's got all the info and they also prioritize building over basically everything--which means like, fire tic is off (meaning fire cannot spread), you do not steal anythign unless you will pay it back at least like twice over (once Grian accidentally killed ppl so he grinded them out full enchanted netherite armor/tools + some blocks and this is literally just like, what everyone does)

But!!!! besides all that!!!! where do you start *watching*!!!!

There are something like,,, 30 members on teh HC server??? more??? I cannot remember. Every one of them posts Hermitcraft episodes to their youtube channels, but there's also a HC recap youtube channel dedicated to weekly recaps of all hermit activity which you can find here!!

The thing about HC is that everytime there's a new update to MC, or even just the server starts to get stale--they throw out the world and start a new, completely empty one from scratch and thus is a new "season." Currently we're only a few episodes into the 8th season!

I watch a very limited scope of HC but--here are my limited reccomendations

GRIANNNNNNNN: because of course, we love grian, we stan grian, he has cats--what more could you ask for? Yes you've seen him gracing your screen in MCC and killing it, and you've also most likely seen him in fanart comparing him to Philza bc both are badass MC players with ✨wings✨he's chaotic and super creative and very kind! he also builds lots of mega builds and they are *incredible.* You're gonna wanna watch him if you want some good, lighthearted gremlin content.

Goodtimeswithscar: my BELOVED!!! This man is like, chaos but make it absolutely harmless. He is Dr. Doofenshmurtz levels of unfunctioning in the best ways possible. Mans tries so hard to be a villain and he just akjsd;lfja;sldfkj cannot pull it off and I adore him so much for it. Also he's got a new vibe every season--last season he was a wizard who lived in a giant snail before moving into a massive mining-construciton-thing??? And this season he has very much Howl's Moving Castle vibes. He also streams on twitch!!! Which I would totally recommend bc he's very chill and fun to listen to. You're gonna wanna watch him if you want a little bit more spice to your episodes--what is that spice exactly? Just watch and you'll see >:))

Some honorable mentions of ppl I don't really watch but love:

Pearlescentmoon: she's a new member to the HC server this season and I love her!!! I've only seen her a bit in Grian and Scar's vids but she took down an entire build just to rotate it like 90 degrees we stan an icon.

Mumbojumbo: a redstone fucking madman--also like--posh?? but in an unoffensive way?? I have no idea this man is so white but also I love him?? that doesn't describe him right just--just watch something of his and you'll understand.

Bdubs: my BELOVED!!! he's just aslkjd;flajsdflk everything, idk man just watch a vid and you'll be in love he's just aslkjdf;lasjkf everything. His starter house is a massive moon with a clock hanging from it it's so pog I love him so much watch his videos

OH AND WHAT'S THAT???? YOU GET HOOKED ON HC CONTENT BUT THINK,,,,,,, 'HM--THERE'S NOT QUITE ENOUGH MURDER IN THIS'???

(The MCC community is confused when Dream and Illumina’s invites comes back every month with “no” marked on both of them.

How does one get into mine craft content?

This is a very broad question, so I'll do my best to cover a range of MCYT areas that you can explore. Off the top of my head the main 4 areas are general MCYT content (one off recordings, small series, fun stuff, Dream SMP, and Hermitcraft. We also have Minecraft Championships (MCC) as a sort of, all CC-inclusive very fun e-sports event. I'll be honest, if you're here for the general experience, a lot of their non-minecraft content is also very worth watching.

General MCYT Recommendations

This is definitely the most expansive section, and comes down to exploring various CCs to find what you like.

Some series I really enjoyed when I first got into MCYT were Wilbur Soot's 100 player challenges (chaotic semi-RP world... development?), Skeppy's challenges and trolling vidoes, Philza's hardcore series season 4 (very chill, talks with chat a lot, actually explores game mechanics the most.) More recently, Tommyinnit's mod videos are all pretty funny, and a good way to meet a lot of different CCs.

Dream SMP

This is the BIG ONE. Despite the name, Dream is hardly present on this server at all. Most of it is both funny and emotional high quality political and epic RP. It's an amazing story, and I highly reccomend it. There is a lot of content to catch up on, but there are several ways of doing so.

To introduce you to the SMP, the two things I recommend are SAD-ist's first DSMP animatic, War (this is what got me into it last year), and Wilbur's DSMP playlist, which covers the first major chapter of the smp in edited 20 minute videos. It's how I got up to speed on most of it when I started, and I highly recommend. From there, to catch up, there is a lore recap series by EvanMCGaming, and regularly uploaded VODs from all the streamers.

Hermitcraft

Hemitcraft is another multiplayer server, like DSMP, but is less RP focused, and more about playing the actual game, and having fun with friends, although roleplay does ensue. It's full of very talented players, with some members being minecraft youtuber original content creators from 2011. It's family friendly, and a really great way to get to know the actual game, while still having fun.

To watch Hermitcraft, the best way is to either watch all hermits' most recent video (just throw yourself in the deep end), or pick a hermit, and watch their series for the lates season. Grian is one of the best to start with, as he is very involved with a lot of server-wide events, and does a lot of cool building, but if you want to look around to choose your own starting point, feel free!

MCC

Minecraft Championship is a much-loved monthly competition, that became popular when people realized that it was just there to be fun, rather than for money, and had a much friendlier and commuinty-oriented vibe than other competitions like it. 40 minecraft youtubers from all different circles compete with and against each other, and the whole community gets involved. Almost every big CC has or is participating in it, and its just, a very fun time. I recommend this because a lot of CCs upload their full streams to youtube, or make videos of them, and I really cannot overstate how great this event is, for content creators and fans alike.

Headcannons and behind the scenes for my dsmp ao3 fic A Cruel Reality that i totally update regularly (not)

Tommy sleeps on the beach and not with everyone else in the camarvans bc he feels like he doesnt belong

Niki saw this sad looking kid on a bench and decided to yell “Free Hot Chocolate!” very loudly to make him not sad anymore

The kitchen staff’s top chef (i didnt write her in lol) began crying tears of pride at Tommy’s first dish but Tommy thought that it was bc his chicekn was so burnt it made her sad

The serum tastes like bubble gum bc why not

Spins the bee survived the dsmp war but Tubbo let them go out into the wilderness and Tommy was there when it happened

The counselor sees themself in Tommy but gave up (counselor is also one of the dsmp members’ irl counterpart)

When the Earth rotates the side that isnt facing the sun is freezing cold

A lot of the Earth’s landscape and temperatures is inspired by the actual moon

Wilbur left the group cackling like a disney villian and people just looked at him weirdly as he walked by

Tubbo somehow always shows up whenever Tommy is sad and finds a way to cheer him up

I honestly didn’t know how to handle the concept of death in MCC so i made up some random bs and explained more rules and i think i did ok

The end of chap 10 w the food is inspired by that one scene in Spirited Away even if i have never watched a ghibli fim in my life

The meal at the end was supposed to have a lidded mug w hot cocoa inside so its be potato, honey, and hot cocoa to signify who gifted him it, the steak is the mysterious person tho

Chap 10 is basically Tommy having an emotional moment at the warmth of food bc he misses the warmth of the past

So I started the hogwarts au like i dunno, 3 weeks ago? And i wasnt like, sure into dsmp lore by then. I like threw myself into the mcyt fandom shdhs.

I think I was like, kinda in it, finally understanding how to keep up with the lore, but only really paid attention to the ccs I already knew about (the dteam, wilbur and tommy, some others).

So when I made the hogwarts au I like, it was still good. But because I'm me i did it the way i wanted, and decided to center the au mostly around the charas i knew. Idk if i mentioned it anywhere but i made a list of like, the charas i cared about most to least.

The ones near the top were the ones I knew the most about, so I decided to put a list of like 10ish of the ccs i knew the most about and only went into the complicated lore (what their wands were, what their pets were, their patronuses, etc) for those ccs

But heres the problem

Now more stuff has been added to the dsmp, and I'm finally caught up with lore so I'm like, actively here now. I joined around like, ok so I first heard of and was looking at the smp when the s1 finale happened. Then I spent maybe like 2 weeks figuring shit out? I think i started actively watching Tommy's streams (he was the only one i watched at first besides george, now i still mostly do tommy and techno but i also love watching Karl's streams, ranboos, but the rest of the lore is a lil hard for me to keep up with lol @starwither on tumblr is my savior) like, maybe a week before i made the hog au. Ok I'll be honest i dont remember the exact timeline, but luckily for you it's not relevant at all

So the problem is, over the past 3 weeks I got into the lore officially sticking with the streams, exploring different characters, and actually looking at the rest of the streamers instead of the main ones I lister previously

So now, like, for example I did not know who fundy was at all. I had heard of quackity and realized he was super relevant to the schlatt arc cause I think I was catching up to that at the time so he was on the lsit, but I didnt know shit about fundy besides that he was Wilbur's son in canon so I was like "ok I'll make him younger than will but idk him so I wont put him in the list"

But now I've watched more shit and like--- I'm love him🥺🥺🥺

But I already went and added all the random facts and itll be so much work to add fundy and ranboo and the ppl I know better now that i think will be more involved in the stories cause ik them better

Like captain puffy I decided to make a prefect literally last second so thered be 2 relevant chara 5th year prefects, but like, that was a guess I havent seen a single stream of hers. I'm thinking I'm gonna go through mcc vods of diff teams to try and knock off 2 stones at once (learning charas AND deciding their strengths and weaknesses in the hcc and quidditch n stuff)

Last night I went and finally did quidditch shit (I dont know how quidditch works I had to do research shdhshd idk shit) and I didnt have enough charas

I went to the list of caring most to least, looked at the least section cause that's streamers that I dont know ANYTHING ABOUT but they're still current mcytbers/streamers so yeah

And I basically just threw all the ones who were in mcc into it 🤡🤡🤡

And I also bsed their houses so bad cause I DONT KNOW THEM HSHDSHS so it's probably fucking awful but I once again do not care

endchasers au. Despite no charges being placed on the SMP they still are treated as outcasts. Scott even bans them from MCC telling them that while Dream did bad thing they aren't good either. He'll only let them join when they apologies to Dream and their Admin forgives them for everything they on his server. Until then they have to watch at home. Bonus if Scott is a Admin so he sympathizes with Dream but doesn't excuses his actions.

Scott is not happy with them. Even more - he looks furious. Noxite and the other present Admins like Captain Sparkles, Iskall and Xisuma don't look happy either.

"You did what exactly?!" asks or rather shouts Scott. Quackity is still not sure what the big deal is so he says such.

"You don't- What do you mean you don't understand why we are angry?! You tortured a person Quackity!"

"Yeah I did. And?" he is still calm, trying to asses the situation. The other dsmp members have already went through the same questioning. They all looked a bit sick afterwards, but Quackity knows better. Dream deserved everything that happened to him.

"And?! And?! Is that not enough?!"

"Scott, you have to understand - he is a monster. We needed to take action. And we did."

"Taking action would be sending him to therapy! Or forcing him to right his wrongs! Not torture and isolation!" Scott yells again, throwing down some photos of the prisoner and the cell. The most common colour on all of the photos is unsurprisingly red.

"You weren't there! He was far too gone! We had to protect ourselves!" Quackity had enough. How dare they. How dare they tell him what's right and wrong. How dare they assume they knew anything about what they went through. "It was us or him! He abused Tommy Scott! He killed a lot of people! He destroyed homes!"

Scott looks at him with a bit softer look. "I understand that. But torturing a person is not the answer here."

"It is! We were fine with him gone! Everything was better!"

"Was it Quackity? Was it really?" Noxite speaks up for the first time. "I remember seeing you win MCC with Dream. I understand he was already in prison back then." At Quackity's nod he continues. "He was scared. Looked like a shell of a human. And your team or any other team fron your server wasn't looking any better. You were all stressed. You weren't happy. But you know that already, don't you?"

Quackity stills. A deep, very well hidden part of him agrees. He understands that what he did was unforgivable. He knows that no one deserved what Dream went through. But another part is still angry. Angry at Illumina for causing the whole situation. Angry at Dream for everything. Angry at the Admins for trying to lecture him. He chooses to say nothing.

Scott sighs heavily, running a hand through his hair in distress.

"Okay. Here is what we are going to do. You are all banned from MCC for now. Don't!" he puts a finger up, stopping Quackity from protesting. "You are all going to be banned. At least until we find Dream and can get his side of the story as well. Maybe and only maybe after that we can talk about letting you all back in."

The dismissal in his voice is clear, so Quackity stands up slowly, feeling his legs shake a little.

"And Quackity?" says Scott again, right before he walks out of the room. "Don't you dare skip any of the therapy sessions. And remember the rules: you stay on your servers until you are deemed ready to live in a normal society again. Good luck."
