just something i thought i’d mention because in spite of last night i apparently still haven’t recovered from the hallelujah -> 27 combo: pete’s kids were there that night. meagan and pete’s youngest two kids were in the soundbooth and he smiled and winked and waved at them when he went back there during dance dance. they performed THOSE songs in THAT combination and pete’s family was there when they did.

im queueing this post for later but i just woke up from a dream that a new episode of Sanders Sides dropped

im not sure what it was about but it had to do with Thomas’s childhood. he was sitting in a boy’s bedroom that was very stereotypically decorated (with like. blue painted walls, the bed covered in dinosaurs, stuffed animals, etc.) and he was discussing something with Roman and Logan. maybe about Thomas’s childhood dreams? or memories? i don’t know.

Roman was wearing his normal attire but for some reason he also had a doll of himself that he used to talk to Logan sometimes. He was standing and had the doll sitting in a few cushions. Logan, on the other hand was wearing a hoodie (!), it was gray with blue sleeves and hoodie and it also had some blue design in the middle of the chest but idk what it was. he was also not wearing shoes and was sitting on another cushion pile, with his knees pulled up to his chest.

I don’t know what the conversation was about but it was super serene and calm. I remember not knowing how i felt about the episode, whether i was enjoying it. UNTIL

towards the end Logan finally spoke clearly and said “I didn’t realize that I have been so focused on uncovering the root of the problem that I didn’t consider that I was the problem.”

but he said it very calm as if he was just relieved to have understood.

so i paused and came to yell about it on tumblr and that was when my alarm rang.

can i be honest i think my cockydar is broke cause i just don’t see it with cory. his drs are arrogant i agree and i get finding them annoying but a huge complaint for newer seasons is how fake and scripted drs are. like prod makes them play up things (also since they refused to show cam as the villain i think they kinda scapegoated cory) but when he’s talking to people i dont think he’s that bad hes dry and some people dont get or like that and that’s fair but i also think he socializes differently very straight forward fact based logical to the point. and people dont like when others dont stick to the social script. they get extremely judgmental and rude and dont make any sort of effort to be accepting of differences. and not everyone clicks so i get it if it rubs you the wrong way but the extreme hatred for him because of it idk it feels over the top to me lol. like the way people talk about him you’d think he told everyone he’s gods gift to the world and the rest of them will never see heaven for being such shit players or whatever

extremely hilarious that eddie said ana had been a “godsend” through the blackout, but we only saw one example of that when ana brought chris (and salads??) to the station...where buck hugged chris the same way eddie had seconds earlier and where eddie nearly had a panic attack because ravi thought ana was eddie’s wife. vs all of 5x13 and 5x14 where we see buck being a godsend not just for christopher, but for eddie -- running to the diazes the second christopher called, putting christopher to bed, getting christopher to school, calling bobby, helping christopher with homework, cleaning up after christopher, the equine therapy stuff being about christopher and charlie/eddie. and eddie never came close to panic, he didn’t even question any of it. of all of things eddie is struggling with this season, buck’s commitment and role in his family is glaringly Not one of them. but it was with ana.
