Need A Hand?

“Shouren?” You called into the tent, looking around. Seems like he wasn’t home, at the moment anyway. Your boyfriend was always running off somewhere. Saving orphaned dragons, hiding bodies of poachers, feeding said poachers to the dragons at Hogwarts, just normal stuff.
Left you with more free time than you liked. Sure, he’s off being a hero, but you needed attention to! You swore he loved dragons more than you. Deep down, you knew that wasn’t true. His name is literally Long Tian Shouren. Wasn’t that literally what Celestial Chinese Dragons were called? Was he a dragon-?
Those were the thoughts that often kept you busy, as you would lay around in the cozy tent. He could have moved into the actual hut at the padlock, but he was a boy of nature. You won’t lie, there was something so nice star gazing together. Also meant you could hog the hut all yourself, and have some nice healthy alone time. Healthy relationship goals.
Still, you didn’t like being alone all the time. You had needs, and he had needs. Seems the need to save dragons overpowered any libido he ever got. Lame. You have a huff, as you went snooping around. Seeing if you could find out where he ran off to this night. Maybe some mysterious map to a fantastical land. Maybe even secret letters for the underground. Or maybe….
“Must be here on the grounds-“ You muttered, as you saw his arm on the bedside table to his futon. Probably going to collect more healing potions, or watch his daughter’s Quidditch practices. You loved that about him. Such a supportive dad. Had you smile, as you played with his arm.
You would play with the joints, and admired the way it moved. Fascinated on how it worked. How much life it had, when attached. Most likely a special charm to make it connect to his nerves. Charms were so cool. You would just smile, as you would bend the fingers. Enjoying how it moved so smoothly, just to lock into place when no longer making contact.
You won’t lie, it was giving you ideas. The joints locked into place after all, so maybe……No. No that’s such an invasive thing. Just because it wasn’t attached to him right now doesn’t mean it’s not any less his hand. That’s just not right…..But he did say his arm was just as much yours as his. Some romantic word fumble when his English short circuited.
You would give a look around, before quickly closing the tent flaps. As if you wanted anyone walking in. It felt so dirty to do this, and that was what was so thrilling. Using your boyfriend’s own arm. So taboo. Then again, you were wizards. What really is taboo for a wizard anyway? Better to not over think it, or factor in the laws and morals it takes to enjoy the comforts of a Animagus.
You quickly shook your head, before sneaking behind the room divider. The beautiful cherry blossom designs casting pink shadows over you, as you got cozy in the shared futon. Snuggling into the pillows you shared, and taking in a deep breath. How rich it was with him.
You would hesitate for a moment, before you said screw it. Literally. With your bottoms removed, you would spread your legs. You took in a few deep breaths, as you would make the hand form a shape. Two fingers, with a hook curve. So it could hit you just right.
With one more look around, you would let the hand’s fingers slide into you. The cold metal sending sharp shivers up and down your spine. The thrill of the taboo was exciting, as you kept a good grip on the metal. Moving the arm up and down. Letting it move in and out, as you covered your eyes with your free arm.
The thrill of it all was the exciting part, more so than the actual pleasure. It was so dirty, and so strange. You knew you shouldn’t, and that was the fun of it. To just close your eyes, as you used your own boyfriend’s prosthetic to pleasure yourself. Had you biting your lip, as you felt it rub you just right.
It was so easy to get lost in the moment. It was all so nice. To just feel the cool metal move inside of you, as you relaxed into the cushions. As you did, you let out a shakey breath. You felt the fingers move, and straighten out. You must have pushed to hard, and changed the position. That was what you thought, until the wrist started to move on its own.
You gave a gasp, as the fingers started to move on their own. Starting to speed up, and spread you open. Your eyes quickly opened, only to see your boyfriend standing above you. His working arm on his hip, as he was in his messy casual Hanfu. Those soft greens to accent that salt and pepper hair.
“Need a hand-?” He asked, as the hand started to finger you faster. You were so embarrassed, to have him walk in on you like this. You were so flustered, only to be left moaning. Learning he had more control over that arm than you thought. You would just toss your head back, as you kept the arm close to you. Not wanting the pleasure to stop.
“I know you enjoy toys, but this is rather silly.” He laughed at you, as you were so embarrassed. Just trying to hide your face, but unable to let the arm go. You were so close. You just had to ride on a little longer, and it seemed your boyfriend gave you mercy. Letting those mechanical fingers move faster, and even slipped a third finger in.
It finally got too much, as you came across the metal arm. He finally made it stop moving, as you rode out the high. He would tsk at you, before taking it away from you. “I just cleaned this-“ He playfully said, as you just enjoyed the after glow. “I suppose I should have seen this coming.” He teases, as you rolled your eyes.
“Just remember to do that again to me, sometime.” You offered, as he smiled. “As long as you promise to clean it afterwards.” He offered, before he planted a sweet kiss to your cheek, as he playfully had his metal hand pat your cheek. You stuck your tongue out at him, and those almond eyes smiled. This was going to be fun.

I decided to make a gif set solely focused on the movie that got me into the Venom Mob and martial arts films in general! Lo Mang and Chiang Sheng will be in the next set! I genuinely cannot express my love for this film enough. While I loved how it was filmed and all of the beautiful scenery throughout the movie, it was truly the actors that really captivated me, along with the unique plot.
I was drawn to how each actor portrayed the character and their development throughout the movie. It was my first time seeing Lu Feng, but I found that he played Dao Chang with a colder, more menacing demeanor, which fit well after everything he went through at the beginning of the movie. However, there was something about his performance that made me think about the character himself. It is just my personal opinion, but I genuinely think a lot of his temper and violent nature were partially due to his father. I felt that perhaps there was something deeper to Dao Chang, like he was actually a pained, traumatized character underneath his demeanor, since it seemed he was raised with the purpose of harming the Tian Nan Tigers’ children. This is not me saying that I approve or condone any of his actions, since I don’t. It just made me think about some of the depth of the character, even though it isn’t explicitly stated. I found it intriguing and those thoughts really traveled with me even after the movie was over, since there were moments where you could see him just watching his father or listening closely. His fights were so precise with little details that made them even more exciting. I remember how thrilled I was during his fight with Chiang Sheng. It had me on the edge of my seat!
At first, I wasn’t sure what to think of Sun Chien’s character, but I did enjoy how expressive he was when you first saw Hu Ah-Kue. He seemed to have a good grasp on how to portray anger without it becoming physical. I was saddened when (spoilers ahead) he lost both of his legs because the pain did come across quite well. It especially broke my heart when some other characters were purposely mean to them because Sun Chien looked hurt/scared. I even noticed that he gripped onto Kuo Chui’s arm while they were being attacked. Hu Ah-Kue really started to grow on me when I noticed how he began to change as time went on, since he was much more concerned and caring after his anger at the beginning dwindled. I liked how determined and heroic he happened to be as he kept trying his hardest to learn how to walk again. The happiness and strength he displayed had me rooting for them all to succeed. He had such great chemistry with the other actors. Sun Chien truly has gorgeous kicks. My jaw almost dropped because I had never seen anyone kick like that or even jump so high. I had never really seen anyone practice taekwondo, but Sun Chien's form and obvious skills drew me in. Truthfully, he still does since it never gets tiring seeing him perform.
Kuo Chui had me in awe. Chen Shuen is probably my favorite character in the film. I was shocked that Kuo Chui did such a great job when it came to not looking directly at any of the actors or things around him (except for maybe one occasion), because his character was blind. I remember being so curious how he could do his acrobatics or even practice with the rings without focusing directly on them for the most part. I could never do anything like that! I probably would have flinched or had to keep looking if I were doing such incredible fight scenes. Chen Shuen was such a lovely character as well, because he always tried so hard to communicate with Wei Jia-Jie (Lo Mang). Their relationship and chemistry had me smiling the entire time because they were so cute when they interacted. My heart was also warmed when he held Hu Ah-Kue protectively when Ah-Kue grabbed onto his arm since they both seemed shaken up by what had happened to them. Kuo Chui had such a great way of displaying how Chen Shuen interacted with each character in a different manner, as he found a way to work with them in a way that was fitting towards their personality. It didn’t matter what Kuo Chui was doing honestly. I eagerly followed each graceful movement as he demonstrated his opera training or acting abilities.
Honestly, there is probably not enough room in one post for me to pour out all my thoughts, but I tried to get my point across. I will never forget my first time watching Crippled Avengers and how magical it was. I adore the Venom Mob with all my heart and I’m really passionate about them, so you will have to excuse my rambling. I just wanted to talk more about them as I feel I don’t do it enough.

no thoughts just the idea of tianshan date idea going through a haunted house on halloween and waiting in line for hours like it’s a fright fest type thing
no thoughts just the image of guan shan shouting in true Terror when one of the haunted house actors that walk around the entrance/lines scares him and he tian has to pretend like it didn’t happen to save his boyfriend’s pride but there are literal tears building in the corners of his eyes because of how hard he’s trying to hold back his laughter

Upcoming 2020 BL series (+ full info & personal rating)
For having nothing better to do and also thinking of what interesting new BL series the new year might bring to me this time around, I have compiled a list of all BLs that I could find that are supposed to come out in 2020. I’ve only added those BLs that are definitely coming out and are in production, and I’ve ranked them based on how interested I am in them, adding some useful information about them as well. Some key information is missing from a lot of the shows, and the farther we go into the list, the more mysterious the BLs become, but I will update, when new information becomes available. Mind that Why R U? is not mentioned since it’s already airing, but keep in mind that it’s also a series that exists this year, if you haven’t payed attention to it yet. In total, there ended up being 16 BL series (17 counting Why R U?). 2020 promises to be a rather fruitful year for BLs!
[All info on the series under the cut]:
2gether: The Series
Network: GMM One (Thailand)
Airs: February 21 - Unknown (On Fridays)
Synopsis: A student named Tine wants to get rid of an admirer. His friends suggest getting a pretend boyfriend – Sarawat. At first, Sarawat plays hard to get, but eventually he agrees. The two become close and intense emotions soon erupt. Are they just pretending or do they actually have feelings for each other? (Trailer)
Familiar faces:
Despite the main couple being played by two unfamiliar faces, there is a lot of background characters played by actors that you are likely to have seen before. Frank and Drake, who have played a couple in My Tee and OurSkyy will return to play lovers once again. You might also know both of them from Blacklist.
Others you might recognize are: Sarocha, who was in both OurSkyy and He’s Coming to Me; Toptap, who has played background characters in many dramas, among them Love Sick & Love Sick 2, Sotus, WaterBoyy, 3 Will Be Free and Blacklist; Mike, who is best known for his role of Bone in Theory of Love, and who was also in OurSkyy; Guy, who was in Sotus S, OurSkyy, He’s Coming to Me and 3 Will Be Free; Gun (Korawit), who played Cherry in Sotus S; Pluem, who is best know for his role of Rain in Kiss Me Again and Dark Blue Kiss; and JJ, who was in the Gifted, He’s Coming to Me and Blacklist (not to be confused with his twin brother AJ). (Cast)
My opinion: The amount of familiar faces this BL has is very comforting. I’ve wanted to see Frank and Drake play a couple somewhere apart from My Tee for a very long time, since that show wasn’t very good, and they finally will! Another background couple is going to be played by Mike and Toptap, which I find super exciting. The main couple also seems to be really great, and they do look like they have some good chemistry. Apart from that, I gather that the show is pretty fun, though rather dramatic as well - in the best traditions of GMM. The only thing that really worries me right now is us once again having “girl problems”, though where would the fake dating trope be without jealousy? Speaking of fake dating, it’s one of my favorite tropes and I’m very happy we are finally seeing it on screen! A bonus point for this show is also a couple of really reassuring LGBTQ+ supportive comments Bright, one of the two main actors, made - it’s always nice to know upfront that the actors we are supporting by watching the show are good people. So, in general, I’m most excited for this series and I hope it won’t disappoint!
My Ride: The Series
Network: Unknown (Thailand)
Episodes: 8
Synopsis: Tawan is a doctor, Mork is a motorcycle taxi driver. Tawan often hires Mork to drop him at his boyfriend's apartment, and so has gotten closer to the motorcycle driver. One day, when Mork knowingly makes Dr. Tawan late for his date, Dr. Tawan finds out that his boyfriend has been cheating on him. After the doctor breaks up with his boyfriend, he and Mork begin to get closer. This drama is about friendship and love that began as a passenger and a rider. (No trailers or teasers available as of yet).
Familiar faces: Out of the actors, you might recognize Fame, who played Guide in My Dream: The Series, and Mild, who played Techno in TharnType. It’s also interesting to mention that the person, who adapted the novel this series is based on to screen, is none other than everyone’s beloved Fluke (Teerapat) that is best known as Wad from Sotus. (Cast)
My opinion: This is on of the BLs I’m most excited about. The premise is interesting and unique, and it sounds promising, but honestly? Fuck all that noise, when we know that the series is based on a novel that was written by Patrick Rangsimant, who is a gay man! Now if that doesn’t sound exciting, I don’t know what does.
My Engineer: The Series
Network: Tencent Video (Thailand)
(It seems to be some sort of a Thai branch of Tencent Video, since it is originally a Chinese network that has brought us, among other things, The Untamed).
Airs: March 14 - Unknown (On Saturdays)
Synopsis: Despite coming out quite soon, there is no proper synopsis for this show. All we have for now is the short summary of how the story begins. One day, Duen is sleeping in the University Park. Bon sees him and soon spots an animal nearby. He tries to wake Deun up but Deun accidentally punches Bon in the face, sending him to the hospital. After the incident, Bon asks Deun to bring him a red rose every morning for a whole month as an apology. (Trailer)
Familiar faces: Do you ever watch a BL about engineering students and think to yourself: “So I guess this is another one of those Sotus-inspired ones”? Well, this time around it is definitely very much Sotus-inspired, since the director of the show, Lit, was also the director of Sotus. And before you start worrying, he had nothing to do with Sotus S, so whatever he’s done with this one - it should be pretty good, I think. As for the actors, the only face that might be familiar to you is Cooper’s, who plays a main character here and who played a main character in My Bromance. (Cast)
My opinion: I am also really excited for this one! It seems to have a total of three backgrounds couples, all of which are very different and have their own cute little storylines. But, that doesn’t mean that the main couple is not interesting! It very much is - you can clearly see that the actors have chemistry and, though the storyline seems fairly simple, it’s great nonetheless. Also, it seems that Bon is really sure and confident in his feelings towards Deun and spends the whole show proving them and trying to win him over, which is rather refreshing compared to most other BLs that have their mains spend most of the time in confusion and denial. Besides that, the jealousy trope is also quite involved in the show, but it seems like it’s executed well, in which case it can also be rather fun and exciting! Plus, it’s quite reassuring that the director was also behind Sotus, because I do love that show, and though it is comforting to see familiar faces on screen, seeing new actors makes for a really lovely new experience.
A Tale of a Thousand Stars
Network: GMM One (Thailand)
Synopsis: An idealistic young teacher, Torfun, volunteered to educate young kids in a far flung and rebel-infested Thai village. There, she met and fell in love with Phupha - a military officer who was protecting the place. Unfortunately, she died in a car accident. However, she happened to be an organ donor - after the accident her heart was given to a young man called Tian. Upon his recovery, Tian returns to the village and eventually meets Phupha. Will love spring between these two young men under such unlikely circumstances? (Trailer)
Familiar faces: The director of the show, Backaof, might be familiar to you, since he is responsible for OurSkyy, He’s Coming to Me and Dark Blue Kiss. You will most likely recognize one of the mains - Earth (Pirapat), who played in WaterBoyy, Kiss Me Again, Love by Chance and Theory of Love. You might also recognize White, who is best known for Love Sick & Love Sick 2, as well as WaterBoyy, ReminderS and Theory of Love. And Nammon, who previously appeared in WaterBoyy, Sotus S, Kiss Me Again, 3 Will Be Free and Blacklist. (Cast)
My opinion: So far, this series seems pretty fun and cute. I’m honestly not the biggest fan of the whole idea - I’m neither fond of new characters getting attached to their supposed past selves or some form of this trope, nor of the whole “he is him, but he is also this girl” thing. According to the trailer, this BL might also have a bad ending, which I definitely won’t be thrilled about to say the least. However, I do trust Backaof entirely, I have wanted to see Earth play a main role in a BL for a very long time, and seeing Nammon once again after last seeing him in Sotus S years ago is really heartwarming - but so far those are the only reasons why this show is so high on my list.
2moons3
Network: Mello Thailand
(It’s unclear if Mello is an actual network, but I couldn’t find any more information on them. It could also be Channel 3, since some things that Mello posts on its YouTube channel do belong to Channel 3, but don’t quote me on any of this).
Episodes: 12 (around 50 min. each)
Synopsis: Nothing is known, but the fact that it is a continuation of the 2moons2 story. (No trailers or teasers available as of yet).
Familiar faces: All six main actors are returning as their respective characters. (Cast)
My opinion: Since nothing concrete is known about this show, apart from the fact that it is the second season of 2moons2, there is not much to say. However, since I do love 2moons2 quite a lot, I am already excited for this one. And I do think it’s going to be more successful than second seasons of beloved BLs usually are, simply because they did really seem to rely on having another season to finish the story and they are not simply dragging it out by having this new season - this continuation is not only logical, but also undoubtedly necessary for the story to feel whole.
Oxygen: The Series
Network: Uknown (Thailand)
Synopsis: Orphaned at a very young age, Gui has had to work hard and provide for himself for as long as he can remember. But he still has a soft demeanor and a smile on his face. Solo can get anything he wants with a flick of his wrist. Money, fame, good looks - the boy has everything, except his smile. One day Solo sees a smiling boy (Gui) working at a cafe. They instantly connect, and Solo finds himself back in the cafe every night. They meet at the same spot, at the same time, until they soon come to realize that they have become each other's breath. A necessity. Just like oxygen. (Trailer)
Familiar faces: The director, Jane, is also responsible for Sotus S and OurSkyy. The only two actors you might recognize both play supporting roles - one of them is Prince who played Oak in Sotus, Sotus S and OurSkyy, the other one is Kan, who played Todd in Sotus S. (Cast)
My opinion: It does look and sound pretty cute, but according to the trailer there is some drama. Solo seems to have a fiancee which (I’m pretty sure) is like a rich people thing rather than him actually being in a relationship with this woman, but the drama aspect of it is still there. I’m also very worried about the fact that the director’s most prominent work is Sotus S, because we all know how bad that one went. So basically, I am looking forward to seeing what it’s made of, but I am very cautious of it too.
Friend Zone 2: Dangerous Area
Network: GMM One & LINE TV (Thailand)
Synopsis: We know nothing, apart from the fact that it’s a continuation of Friend Zone. (Trailer)
Familiar & unfamiliar faces: Since this is a continuation of a series, I’m switching this section up a bit to also note the unfamiliar faces and/or those who haven’t made it into the second season from the first one. Jojo is returning to direct Friend Zone once again, and it’s also important to note that he is responsible for 3 Will Be Free as well. The entire main cast from season 1 is coming back, along with Safe, who also becomes one of the main characters this time around. Safe is played by Joss, who is best known for his role in 3 Will Be Free. It’s unclear if the rest of the supporting cast is coming back as of now. The main cast is also joined by two people, who haven’t previously played in the show: Arm, who was in WaterBoyy and OurSkyy, and Pluem, who was in My Dear Loser and OurSkyy. (Cast)
My opinion: I haven’t watched Friend Zone, so I don’t really know what’s going on here. So far, I’m just really interested in watching something queer that has both Singto and Arm in it (because yes, finally Arm is also playing an LGBTQ+ character). This series is clearly super dramatic, which is kind of concerning, but it’s also very different from what we usually get in BLs, so I might give it a try. Right now, I’m kind of conflicted, but will probably give it a watch when it eventually comes out.
Love By Chance 2
Network: Most likely LINE TV & GMM 25 (Thailand)
(I assume those are the ones, since LBC belonged to them, but there is no clear information on whether LBC2 does as well).
Synopsis: So far, the whole synopsis we have is rather short and sweet. This series is a continuation of LBC with TinCan as the main couple. (Trailer)
Familiar & unfamiliar faces: So far the only one we won’t be seeing for sure seems to be Saint, though Cherreen, who played ChaAim, is also not on the cast list as of now. Otherwise, Perth is returning to the show, the actors (Mean, Plan, Gun, Mark, Title and Earth) of the three other couples (TinCan, TechnoKengkla and TumTar) are all returning, and along with them Yacht (Pond), Best (Good) and Samantha (Bow) are returning as well. The director of the first season, New, also remains the same. (Cast)
My opinion: I am rather conflicted about this new season right now. On the one hand, I do love TinCan and I do want to see the continuation of their story. On the other hand, I certainly don’t want to see the other two couples again. And, of course, the lack of Saint (or rather Pete) is the most important and disappointing part. I don’t know how they are going to go about it, but AePete is a crucial part of LBC - be it as a background couple or not - and not having them at all is just a terrible thing. Basically, what I’m trying to say is fuck Perth’s management and I hope they deal with this problem tastefully and appropriately. Either way, all this doubt is exactly why LBC2 is closer to the bottom of the list of the shows I’m interested in this year.
Motor-Cycle: The Series
Network: LINE TV (Thailand)
(Always nice to know that sometimes GMM just isn’t involved at all, and we do know that LIVE TV has given us some really good BLs before - Love by Chance and Until We Meet Again among them).
Synopsis: A high school kid named Run loves to sneak out of his house to ride his motorbike. He drives around and feels exuberant by the ride and the freedom to do what he wants. When his bike breaks down, he meets Mike who quickly fixes it for him. Mike is an introverted, open-minded individual who works as a mechanic. But he’s no ordinary fixer. He has a lot of secrets. Both fall for each other but do not push further, since both of them are in a relationship. Will they end up pursuing each other, or will they remain with their current boyfriends? (No trailers or teasers available as of yet).
Familiar faces: A large part of the cast is unknown as of now - the only person who we know stars in the show for sure is also unfamiliar, since he is a newbie in the industry. (Cast)
My opinion: So far, it sounds kind of interesting. I love the new theme with motorbikes and leather jackets and whatnot - we haven’t got anything like that in BLs yet. It also sounds kind of promising that they are not pursuing each other, while in a relationship, but knowing BLs it’s probably handled much worse than it sounds. Also, it’s not clear if Mike’s age is close enough to Run’s age to be appropriate, since Run is specifically described as a high school kid, while Mike is already a working mechanic. Overall, I’m curious as to see where this goes next and can’t wait for new updates on this one. It could be something - whether that something is bad or good, we shall see soon enough.
Your Voice, My Heart
Network: Unknown (Taiwan)
Synopsis: Su Ye Xin left his parents to live on his own because they were furious and unsupportive after he told them he was gay. He is a huge fan of a famous dubbing artist Sheng Sheng and has a crush on him. Since he fears that Sheng Sheng is homophobic, he is using a female profile and is known among the fans, because everyone strongly supports his crush. Coincidentally, he has the chance to do private coaching for Sheng Sheng in real life, whose real name is Xie Xiao Sheng. Apart from his excitement to be able to get to know his crush in person, Su Ye Xin also realizes something bizarre about Xie Xiao Sheng. Xie Xiao Sheng’s occasional emotional outbreaks and his hate towards his cousin Gu Fan and his lover Shen Hai all point towards an incident that happened in his childhood… (No trailers or teasers available as of yet).
Familiar faces: So far not much is known about who was cast - most likely because, as it often happens, all of the actors are newbies and no one knows them or has interest in getting to know them right now.
My opinion: So far, it sounds kind of interesting. Taiwanese BLs are known for having more unusual themes and plots, and this one doesn’t seem to be an exception. They also seem to really be trying to tackle a number of LGBTQ+ topics, different kinds of homophobia included, which could either be a disaster or a refreshing new BL experience. I’m looking out for some news on this one, so I could see if it is indeed a disaster or not.
En of Love
Network: LINE TV
Airs: March - Unknown
Synopsis: So far, all we have is that this series follows three couples made up of engineering and medical students. (Teaser 1 - Teaser 2 - Teaser 3)
Familiar faces: New, who is responsible for Make it Right & Make it Right 2, Love By Chance, ReminderS and Until We Meet Again, is the director of this series. So far, the only familiar actors are a part of the supporting cast, and they are Yacht, who is best known for playing Pond in Love By Chance, and Best, who was Good in the same series. You might also recognize both of them from having a couple of small appearances in Until We Meet Again. (Cast)
My opinion: The teasers don’t really give us much, especially because two of them don’t have subs (which might be a worrying prediction for the future of how quickly and efficiently the subs for new episodes are going to be coming out). It seems kind of cute overall, and also slightly dramatic. The fact that New is responsible for it kind of makes me appreciate it a little more, but otherwise my interest has not been piqued even a little bit. I am looking forward to finding out more about this one, though.
Gen Y: The Series
Network: Unknown (Thailand)
Synopsis: We don’t have much of a concrete description for this one yet, all we know is that it tells the story of the love of teenagers who always seem to be so busy. (Trailer)
Familiar faces: New, who is responsible for Make it Right & Make it Right 2, Love by Chance, ReminderS and Until We Meet Again, is directing this one. There is also a lot of rumors going on about Copter and Kim of SBfive, who are best known for their 2moons roles of Kit and Ming respectively, being in this show. However, I haven’t seen them say anything about it and they are not in the trailer, so I don’t know how true those rumors are. (Cast)
My opinion: So far, the only promising thing about this show is the face of New being plastered on it. Otherwise, it really doesn’t interest me. However, if Kimmon and Copgi are indeed in the show, I might give it a try - and I certainly will, if they play a couple.
Puppy Love: The Series
Network: LINE TV (Thailand)
Synopsis: This is a story of a young man, who dreams of becoming the next Steve Jobs, and another young man, who is addicted to a game. Suddenly, both of their destinies change and they turn back to being children again. What will they do in this peculiar situation? (No trailers or teasers available as of yet).
Familiar faces: So far, the only person you might recognize is Oreo, who was in What the Duck & What the Duck 2. (Cast)
My opinion: There is very little that we know of this BL. The synopsis doesn’t sound very promising, though. Honestly, all we can do now is wait and see. So far, I am not interested.
Because of You
Network: Uknown (Taiwan)
Airs: February 14 - June 26 (On Fridays)
Episodes: 20
Synopsis: The story of three half-brothers from a large corporate family and the way they deal with the struggle of familial love and facing all possible situations associated with the feelings of “no way”, “impossible”, and “cannot”. (Trailer)
Familiar faces: Unsurprisingly, this being a Taiwanese show, there is no actors that we have seen anywhere before. (Cast)
My opinion: The trailer is very short and doesn’t really give us any info at all, and everything seems to clearly hint at at least one incestuous storyline between brothers. Overall, I don’t think I’m going to be giving this a shot, unless I hear something really good about it when it starts airing, which is really sad, because usually Taiwanese BLs are far more mature and solid than Thai ones.
The Shipper
Network: GMMTV (Thailand)
Synopsis: A fujoshi, who is a hard shipper of two of her classmates, gets into an accident and her soul gets trapped in one of their bodies. So she takes advantage of it, attempting to make her ship sail while in this boy’s body. Meanwhile, the boy’s brother notices that something is wrong. (Trailer)
Familiar faces: One of the main characters is played by Ohm, who was in Make It Right & Make It Right 2, He’s Coming to Me and Blacklist. Jennie, who was in Friend Zone and 3 Will Be Free, plays a background role as well. (Cast)
My opinion: This show makes me feel incredibly conflicted. The thing that stands out the most is the fact that the whole thing is based on a fujoshi’s inappropriate shipping, as well as the weird plot of the boy’s brother instantly realizing that it’s not his brother before him, but then starting to like this person that isn’t his brother, but that is in the body of his brother. At the same time, if it does a lot of mental and plot gymnastics, it can make this better, and there is some potential. Besides, the fact that Ohm and Jennie are in this series really makes me want to give it some sort of a chance. But, for now, I shall just wait it out and see what is going to happen further down the line. So far, I’m definitely staying away from it, though.
Your Star
Network: Uknown (Thailand)
Synopsis: The series revolves around a homophobic young man, who finds out that his younger brother is in a relationship with another guy. The situation becomes quite heated, but when his good friend begins meddling with his feelings, he starts to change his views, opening his heart up to his brother, his friend and himself. (Trailer)
Familiar faces: Lots of people would be excited to know that Fluke (Teerapat) has joined the cast as a background character - he is best known for his role as Wad in Sotus, and he was also in My Bromance. (Cast)
My opinion: The whole thing is quite confusing as of now. The last time a trailer came out was a year ago and it makes absolutely zero sense. Because there is no further explanation with the trailer, the synopsis really doesn’t make me hopeful about this one at all. And since I’ve never really been as in love with Wad and Fluke as everyone else, even his presence doesn’t save this series in me eyes. So far, I am absolutely not interested.

Secret Empire: Omega #1
This was an epilogue that was necessary.  But in a way, it still didn’t resolve anything.  And it sort of leaves a bad taste in my mouth.  Yet I do find it interesting as well.
[SPOILERS]
So if you haven’t been reading Secret Empire at all, good for you man.  It was an event that explored what would happen if Captain America was evil.  Like, truly corrupted.  Except, it wasn’t a what-if.  And it didn’t end in him coming to his senses.  No.  Instead, a good “Memory” of him came to life and was made whole.  That’s right.  The Ideal Version of Cap in all his wholesome glory went against the real-life, corrupted Steve Rogers, and when good came out on top, we were left with 2 Steve Rogers’.
Yes.  You read that correctly.  THERE’S TWO STEVE’S NOW!
What the Hell?
So now what?
The tail end of Secret Empire #10 had a very short epilogue that wasn’t very satisfying for me.  This one served as a true aftermath, and sort of a re-evaluation period.  ‘Where do we go from here?’
In the first pages, you can see that the world is rebuilding.  The first blue and white narration says, “The war is over.”  Right away, you can tell this is ‘Ideal Memory Steve’ talking.  For all intents and purposes, this is the true Cap, but the problem is.. he isn’t.
He goes and visits the Real Cap, who is now placed in a holding facility called “Shadow Pillar”.  “It’s housed some of the most wanted men in the World--International Terrorists, perpetrators of genocide, despots...”  but now it only holds one person.  And that is the corrupted, Hydra Steve.
This entire issue is a great conversation between both Steves.  And what’s really interesting from Hydra Cap’s standpoint is that, he really didn’t do anything illegal. [I’m not gonna use the word ‘Wrong’, I’m going to say illegal.]  {btw the art throughout this entire issue is Amazing!  It’s from Sorrentino, the same guy who did Old Man Logan.
But yeah.
Steve brings up how he never overthrew the government or anything.  He was appointed the position of trust to run S.H.I.E.L.D. again.  The Government also created the Shield Act, which decreed that “In the event of an emergency, the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D could take absolute control of the country.”
He brings up that he never built the Planetary Defense shield.  “Maria Hill and Carol Danvers did.”
“I didn’t cause the mess in Pleasant Hill. Or allow the Red Skull’s perverted version of Hydra to recruit so many, so easily.”
[That’s what’s the most interesting to me.  Despite being corrupted, he still hated Red Skull and decided to run Hydra his way rather than work together with Red Skull.]
So yeah.  For the most part, according to Steve, he did nothing wrong.
But Ideal Steve still says that they’ll find a way to punish him, to which Hydra Steve retorts, “These so-called laws were never put in place to protect anyone you didn’t want protected.”
That’s a super high-brow statement about our Justice system today.
Good Steve won’t hear it.  “You leveled a city. You tortured and imprisoned thousands. You killed people I cared about very much.”
We cut out of their conversation and get to see a little more of Natasha Romanov’s funeral.  Clint can’t take it, and Logan steps in, offering to take him home.
Bucky Barnes watches this on TV, elsewhere, and I don’t fully understand it, but he grabs a suspicious looking person in a hood and asks, “Who is it?! Who’s the target?!”
The guy is all, “I told you-- I DON’T KNOW!”
Then we see a random Military General who apparently made a name for himself by allying with Hydra.
Before this can go anywhere else, he gets shot.
Bucky looks up at the building from where the shot came from.
He narrates, “...as soon as I see it, I know.  All the rumors, all the whispers-- they checked out.  I recognize everything--the shot, the placement, the time. Nobody know the Black Widow like I do, after all.  I know it’s you, Natasha.”
The target is on him, but then we cut back to Steve’s conversation with himself.
[So...  Wait.  How?  Is this a hopeful denial on Buck’s part, or is Natasha really back.  And if she is?  How on earth did she recover that fast from a broken neck?  Did Kobik put her back after all?  Rick Jones too, for that manner??  Last we checked in Issue #10, we were only told that the scars remained.  But was it put that they were to just believe that they’re dead??  Why do that?  It’s too convoluted.]  - But either way.  I’m partly happy that Natasha might be back.  After all, her death was an absolute cop out and served no purpose.
Hydra Steve actually apologizes for the losses.  “You probably don’t believe this, but I really didn’t want anyone to get hurt.”
That’s when we see that he’s clearly crazy though.  He really truly believes that he was always Hydra.  That Hydra was always meant to rule.  And that, he was this close to actually making it happen.
We get to see that on New Tian, the Mutants are demolishing the place like it never happened.  [Because why would anything change in the X Books?]  Honestly, I don’t understand why they didn’t keep it.  Beast and Emma have a little talk about their “Negotiated Surrender”.
Beast is mostly concerned with the idea that, despite the good guys winning, Mutants are given the side-eye and not trusted.  That they will again have to face a day when the government is against them.  He does congratulate her though for the short time it lasted that they did have their Utopia.
“Yes, and when those history books are written, I won’t be mentioned-- except as the villain.  They’ll never know what I did here.”
[It’s so weird, how we go from one event to the next, where Emma is so hated, and then so immediately loved.  Now it’s almost like Spencer noticed that, and wants to bring the IvX era back, so that way the X-Books can keep up grudges in their continuity or something.  But maybe that’s just me, reading too far between the lines.]
Bla bla bla, the Steves yammer on.
I liked it when Hydra Steve points the finger at the other one and asks, “...when will You be held accountable?”  This in regards to the idea of Super Heroes altogether, who are just completely above the law, because they say so.
We get to see Punisher redeem himself a little bit in his thinking.
He narrates that following Steve’s Hydra was probably his biggest mistake ever.  And now his sole mission is to crush what’s left of Hydra.
From afar, Nick Fury Jr. watches him and says, “He’s ready.”
[This makes me the most excited, because the previews books gave a hint at what’s next for Frank Castle.  Can anyone say War Machine armor?]
Back to the conversation, Good Steve brings up something that is very disheartening to the current state of the World.  Despite the World watching Steve overthrow his corrupt self, they still didn’t trust him during the clean up.  Steve offered to help a kid up from the rubble, and he was about to take his hand until he pulled away.
This sort of shattered Good Steve in a way, since it was all because of Hydra Cap.  He’s ruined his good image.  Tainted it beyond repair.  He wears the face of a Criminal, or if not that.. of the most wanted/hated man in the World.  When it used to clearly be, the exact opposite.
“So I came here to see you--to look into your eyes and take the measure of the man who cost me all this.  ...But looking at you doesn’t feel much different from looking at a Skull or an L.M.D.”
Hydra Cap almost laughs at him and says that he should be worrying about the flag he represents.  The people don’t exactly fall into all the ideals that this Steve thinks it does.
[It’s almost as if he’s schooling him on the corrupt/jaded stance of most American Citizens.]
“I offered them power, and they took it.  What do you offer them?  A chance to go back to being afraid of their own neighbors? To being left behind...while they grovel in the dirt?”
[I really enjoyed this.]
“Right now there’s the Euphoria. You’re telling them the heroes won, and maybe some are getting swept up in it.  And you’re promising that things will be different this time--  But they won’t be.  And that’s when they’ll start to remember.”
He’s basically saying that he ran America better when Hydra was in control, and that despite losing, the people will look back, and compare.  And probably be even harder to defeat if their is an uprising.
“So who do you really think they’ll side with next time? Who do you think they’re more like-- You? or Me?”
That’s a great place to end this conversation.  It goes a little further, but basically Steve leaves him to his cell.  And it becomes clear as day that “This is a War that never ends.”
-End Omega Issue-
...So there’s two Steve’s now.  Absolutely and completely.  We have a Good one and an Evil one.  And the Evil one is the ORIGINAL.
That’s probably the thing that gets me the most.  No way to retcon out of that.
Unless another strange event occurs where the two become one...
UUUUrrrhuaihghurewfrhuruhi.
But yeah.  This commentary was SUPER interesting.  I really enjoyed it.
Despite the fact that I hate having 2 Steves now.
He will absolutely escape or be ‘rescued’ from that facility one day.  And we’re gonna see Evil Steve again.  I’m sure of it.
And who knows.  Maybe people will gravitate toward him, because now he’s the edgy original with a darker edge than the Naive Copycat that wants to live in the 40′s.
...I just don’t know.  It’s unsettling.  And a little sad.
But Marvel is about to change everything again.  So...
I really don’t know how I feel.  I know that after this event though, and with all the constant changes...  I’ve kinda lost my muse on reviews.
I’m only going to review the ones I love the most.  (Or maybe hate the most.)
But the books have just gotten so different lately, that I’m not into it any more.
I am THRILLED to be finishing these Secret Empire reviews late.
But the sad fact is, that I’m always late now.  So I’m seriously gonna have to cut back.  I can’t review everything any more.
...I don’t know what Marvel Legacy has in store for us.  Part of this issue almost felt like a warning.  That Marvel is telling us it’ll be different this time, but when it’s not, we’re all going to get upset.  Who knows?
Anyway, I’m looking forward to comics becoming fun again.  And not frustrating.
I guess the next thing to go to is these quick Marvel Generations issues.  That’s where the “Vanishing Point” gift is given from Kobik to a select few heroes.  (Of which I’m only collecting 3 issues of.  Not all.)
The first one of interest to me was Jean Grey meeting the Phoenix!!
So...  I guess that one’s next.

Nation au (The face)
N/A: Just to establish Jean´s jelly over Kitty and try to explain the situation better, I mean, I´d hope this idea is not too confusing.
@djinmer4 @sailorstar9 @dannybagpipesarecalling @discordsworld @look-ma-no-hands336
Psylocke and the other older members of the island know how their new home is getting too much fame and no one can truly trust a nation without a leader. Captain Britain and Faiza are quick to point out, in their video chat, how this is suspicious even more with the story of "mental images" and Betsy can´t argue against.
However, with the arrival of Kitty Pryde, maybe the nation is not so leaderless after all. The other members decide to announce, for all it´s worth, Kitty Pryde is their leader now.
Of course, this decision was not taken without her knowledge.
(past)
"Look, I´ve questions about this" Kitty starts a bit uneasy. "why I should be the leader? Why not Psylocke?" Kitty asked not to thrill for being the nominated as a leader, not even happy that her own draws show this.
"Because I´ve a really bad past and no one will follow a woman that killed more than an elite squad" Psylocke then explained how she used to run a program to fight against bad guys and how in the end, the line between good and evil is too blurry.
"Besides, the nation needs to have at least a face. The story we told you is true, Zaorva speaks with us by mental images, but, I´d think no one will take our word seriously. But, if you´re the facto leader of the island, this can help us a lot" one of the members affirms.
Kitty takes a minute to process this idea. She? being the leader of an island. "Why you choose to come here?" and tries again. "you all are the first one to come here, you build the houses and...." she couldn´t finish as they shake their heads.
"We asked for a save place and Zaorva found us, in our dreams, in our reality...the houses were already here waiting for us" is the explanation and in case of doubt, Psylocke even prompts to share her memories of the encounter with Kitty.
"If I accept to be the face...wouldn´t Zaorva mind?"
"Well, Zaorva is the outer God of creation, if she wants to show up in the cover of magazines, she could have been in this room right now, but...she´s not"
And so, Kitty accepts the role as leader and brainstorm is made to craft a good story to satisfy the other people, after all, not everyone is ready to believe in outer gods so quickly.
(present)
Now, the big revelation of Kitty Pryde as the face of Gosmein people are more excited. Kitty is the friendly image that Gosmein wanted and the dark and mysterious island label as last resort now is getting more positive attention.
However, there´s a setback, well, not to Gosmein exactly. Many were expecting to be informed first about Kitty being the leader. Genosha didn´t like to hear the news thanks to the UN, and Utopia is too curious about where this Kitty Pryde comes from.
And yet, Tian is furious as Kitty Pryde is nominated the leader of such powerful and mysterious island, and at the same time, is being praised for mere existing, while Jean Grey the true leader and the most powerful mutant ever is second page´s material at the best.
"Kitty Pryde? Who is this woman? How dare you to take fame for yourself" Jean has a mad look on her face. Her green eyes are too vibrated and bloody on the image of Kitty Pryde adorned in jewellery and many comments on social media are positive.
Scott Summers even give a statement saying how the X-men are feeling more assured to make contact with Gosmein. Jean can´t help to feel betrayed by her ex-fiance.
"How dare you, Scott? Etian is here and you could come here at any moment, yet, you prefer to go to this island? How dare you?" Jean rants ignoring Logan´s praises and how he loves Jean Grey. The red hair woman silent him with her powers.
"Ok, guess I´ll have to take a look into this Kitty Pryde" and she burned the newspaper easily, but, let the fire begins with the image of one smiling Kitty Pryde adorning with jewellery.
Meanwhile, Kitty Pryde is back at the same place again. There´s no begin nor end, Dreamland is anything and nothing at the same time. Kitty Pryde often comes here and is always talking with IT.
At this moment, as much time is relative, she´s on a swing being pushed gently by IT. Aside from IT, the cats are here as always.
"Hey, you´re often silent today, anything on your mind?" IT asked letting his tentacles hold her hand kindly.
"Lots of things, really. First, now, I´m the ''face'' of Gosmein and many, many people are after me and I´ve no idea on what to do as a leader" Kitty answers bitting her lips.
"You can make a sport out of it. See who will be the ally of Gosmein, the survivor will be the winner" IT let dark laughter speaks for itself and Kitty can recall stories about IT where civilizations were turned into dust because IT said so.
Kitty only rolls her eyes. "No, despair is your elixir, not mine." and adds "I wish Zaorva left more ways to communicate, I´d not know what to do with international politicians"
IT answers with amused laughter and Kitty is not seeing what´s so funny. Then, IT speaks again, calmly. "I´d think, you, Kitty Pryde, will be a great leader. There are kindness and intelligence in you that will make you a good leader, because, in the end, you´ll be the mother of the nation."
Kitty shakes her head. "No, I´m just the face of the nation, Zaorva is the mother" and now the cats and IT are laughing, Kitty never dares to understand a sense of humour of an outer god. "By the way, I want to ask you something"
IT stopping laughing let Kitty make her question. "Why you treat me so kindly and gentle?" her doe eyes are gazing upon the mass of tentacles, mouth and eyes with only curiosity. "I know tales of what you do with humans like me and yet, you never harmed me or mutate me, why is that?"
"Because...you reminder someone I love"
"Zaorva?"
"Yeah, she´s just like you...identical, almost like the same person, and both share the clueless effect that makes them so adorable"
"Clueless? Hey, I´m not clueless and I´m sure Zaorva isn´t either"
"Sure, keep telling yourself that" IT speaks in a good humour much to Kitty´s dismay as the cats are now far too amused.

Each week, Brian Bayless and Jennifer Smith will recap the week that was in WWE TV. Share your thoughts with us via social media!
*** Matt Souza is filling in for Jennifer this week
Matches of the Week
Matt: Match of the week goes to New Day vs The Bar for the SmackDown Tag Titles. I thought this was a fine, run of the mill tag match. Nothing bad, but not particularly great either. Kind of surprised that they switched the belts already. Makes me wonder if The Bar was supposed to be the team to dethrone the Bludgeon Brothers and they had to change plans and quickly put the titles on New Day when Erick Rowan went down with his injury.
Brian: The fatal five-way match on 205 Live was excellent, both from a match quality and storyline perspective. It was an all-out blitz that saw all five men get a chance to succeed and it touched upon existing feuds like TJP against the Lucha House Party and Cedric Alexander and Tony Nese with Nese pinning him again as Cedric’s continues his descent after losing the Cruiserweight Championship. Lio Rush really got a chance to shine in the ring and show his talents there as opposed to being on the mic. A match worth seeking out.
Segments of the Week:
Matt: The Segment of the Week on SmackDown was The Cutting Edge with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Edge was excellent in his role as the bitter retired wrestler and how he basically told Becky to not make the same mistakes he made. Becky continues to knock it out of the park with this new “screw everyone” bad ass character of hers. The pull apart brawl at the end of this segment was really great as well. I loved this. Great stuff.
NXT’s Segment of the Week was the Nikki Cross vs. Bianca Belair match and the post match featuring the return of Aleister Black. The match itself was really fun brawl and I didn’t mind the No Contest finish as it led to the appearance of Black. The post match stuff with Cross telling Black her secret and Black freaking out was excellent and I’m very interested to see where this whole thing leads. The Aleister Black saga is easily the most compelling storyline going in WWE right now.
Brian: RAW’s segment of the week was the bit between Ronda Rousey and The Bellas. Having Ronda lay into the Bellas for being desperate for attention and leeching off of their men while the Bellas smugly told her she was not in their class worked great and the fans were invested. Ronda had her best performance on the mic and the Bellas are playing their roles to perfection. Looks like they are also trying to get over the “DNB” catchphrase (which stands for “Do Nothing Bellas.”). Having The Bellas bring out their own security was a nice touch too.
On 205 Live, the Mustafa Ali vignette to hype his Falls Count Anywhere match next week against Hideo Itami was effective and due to the fact it was produced different than your standard WWE taped segment it stood out. Having him walk around the streets in the pouring rain and wind gushing gave it a raw, edgy feel that is missing from the company. Ali continues to shine in 2018.
Quotes of the Week:
Matt:
“You keep that thing in your pants” – Batista to Ric Flair
“There is nothing that this man hasn’t done in this business… Except beat me.” – Batista to Triple H
“Careful you don’t hurt your neck again going through those ropes.” – Becky Lynch to Edge
Brian:
“The only door you’ve ever knocked down is the door to John Cena’s bedroom… and he eventually threw you out of that exact same door” – Ronda Rousey to Nikki Bella
“I have heard that you are talented, I’ve just never seen it. You know, its like I’ve never seen Bigfoot or the Flyers win the cup.” – Elias to Apollo Crews.
“Well we have three words for you… rest in peace.” – Kane & Undertaker to DX
What Worked:
Matt: I really liked the opening video of SmackDown showing some of its memorable moments. The video packages that WWE produces are some of the best thing about the company. The Evolution reunion segment was really well done. Batista was the star here with a great promo and you could see that he was genuinely thrilled to be there. I liked them planting the seeds for a future Batista vs Triple H match here as well. The match has been rumored for years and it looks like it may happen sooner rather than later. Perhaps at WrestleMania next year?
The War Raiders vs Undisputed Era Tag Title match was a perfectly solid match and the DQ finish guarantees that this feud will continue. Bobby Fish returning at the end of the match and causing the DQ was a great way for him to return from his long layoff. Shayna Baszler’s complete destruction of Britt Baker was really well done. This was a great way to make Baszler look like a ruthless badass going into her rematch with Kairi Sane at Evolution. The elbow stomp Baszler gave Baker was vicious looking and I thought Baker did a nice job selling the injury. Nice to see Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch return to NXT after Lorcan basically broke his face back in June. They looked great during their match against Tian Bing and Rocky.
Brian: On RAW I liked the opening and closing segments as they continue to tease Dean Ambrose turning on his Shield brothers and we saw Drew McIntyre have enough of Braun Strowman and gave him the Claymore Kick after Strowman hit Dolph Ziggler with a powerslam. It sets up intrigue for next week. The Brothers of Destruction promo was good as while I’m not personally excited for their match against D-X this was effective and fit in with the storyline. And as usual, Elias was entertaining while insulting the crowd.
I loved how 205 Live started off the show with GM Drake Maverick hyping up everyone in the Fatal Five-Way match and why they deserved take part and how they could win. It made all five guys seem important. The character work in general this week was great I thought. We saw TJP as the arrogant jerk stealing masks off of Lucha House Party and wearing them around his neck like a chain and the formation of Buddy Murphy & Tony Nese as a duo is working so far and with Nese winning two matches in a row he might find himself in line for a title shot. And next week we see the debut of Mike Bennett and get the Falls Count Anywhere main event of Itami vs. Ali.
What Didn’t Work:
Matt: I was not a fan of how they continued the AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan build. I hate it when they do the “two face wrestlers team with one another, something happens during the match leading to dissention” thing. It’s a played out and tired trope. Why did Miz vs Rusev only last 45 seconds? Were they short on time? I get having Aiden English distract Rusev causing him to lose the match, but in 45 seconds? It makes Rusev look weak. While I thought that The New Day vs The Bar match was fine, I really did not enjoy the finish. Big Show heel turn number 768 was an unwelcome surprise. The amount of times his character has turned has to be a running joke. It’s absurd. Rey Mysterio vs Shinsuke Nakamura was incredibly disappointing. I was expecting a really good match but I thought that it was just ok. Can we talk about how Nakamura has looked uninspired and has been going through the motions since the AJ feud? It was really noticeable here. If Nakamura can’t get inspired for that match, then there’s a problem.
Brian: As good as the build for Nikki vs. Rousey was the rest of the women’s segments were subpar. Having the Riott Squad squirt condiments all over Natalya’s dressing room door (and why does Natalya have a private dressing room anyway?) was an incredibly lame insult. And having Trish Stratus & Lita use Allen Iverson’s well over a decade old rant about practice as material did not get over and in general that segment was saddled with awful dialogue. Also, even after turning heel we are seeing Lashley continue to struggle in getting any sort of reaction from the crowds. RAW’s main problem is that they have too many cold acts throughout their 3 hour-long show.
Final Rankings for the Week
1. NXT 2. 205 Live 3. SmackDown 4. Monday Night RAW
Overall Rankings
1 – NXT (24 points) 2 – SmackDown Live (23 points) 3 – 205 Live (22 points) 4 – Monday Night Raw (8 points)

hi im the anon ! i dont remember what i said >
and I’m alarmed by the fandom mentality. Maybe HT means good - but how would we know? we don’t have access to his thoughts - but we must judge his actions, and his actions are for the least very troubling. It’s always abt coercing Mo and not respecting his boundaries. I see the trope “when she says no, she means yes” here and once again, the fact the fandom swallows it uncritically (bc HT is a poor, hot tortured boy) is alarming. Forcing Mo to wear his gift stinks of “this is my possession, don’t mess wt him” 2/5
Maybe im pessimistic n its actually to protect him by distance, but once again he totally disregards Mo’s will. What if he doesnt want to be protected ? what if he doesnt want to be an object to be pass around between self-entitled psychos ? The first step to protect and help someone is by listening to them. I hope Mo will react strongly and will tell HT that by saying this, he’s no different from She Li. And i hope that would provoke HT to self-reflect a lot - smth he lacks tremendously. 3/5
That being said i love HT and tianshan! And what i love is how realistic and flawed they are. Theyre both hyper violent, distrustful, and severly lacking in communication skills. Im thrilled to see how theyre going to evolve -for the better or the worse, both is good for me. But i’m very disappointed by the fandom reaction like “ooh how cute hes possessive it means love!” or “actually its not bad doing HT doing that bc his intentions are good”. 4/5
And I will be vry, vry disappointed if OX decides to follow this trend and to not show how this kind of actions is detrimental to their reliationship and use the tired and dangerous trope of “being violent means that you care”. I trust them to be more nuanced than that bc until now they are great at drawing grey relationship. So yea i hope next chapter, tianshan plunges (before being better). Anw sry for the rant, and plz continue the good work !! 5/5
phew. there’s a lot to unpack here – but I agree wholeheartedly with you. since this post is already kinda long, I will put my answer/explanation under the cut!
the parts that I bolded in your asks are what I intend to focus on in this answer. strap in, because this is going to be a long one.
before anything, let me put a disclaimer: I love He Tian. I love Guan Shan. I love Old Xian. I love tianshan, and I love where they are headed in the manhua. does that mean I also love where tianshan are right now? no, it doesn’t. and I’m here to explain why I look forward to their potential rather than their current relationship’s dynamics.
one of the hardest parts about being in a fandom is being able to separate fiction, reality, and morality. this is especially hard when a fandom is as old and endearing as 19 Days, and when you fall in love with & are rooting for all the characters. furthermore, 19 Days is not a tragedy. of course, when Jian Yi disappears, it will be tragic. but otherwise the majority of the manhua is a comical, romantic slice-of-life plot. as such, it’s easier for what would usually be seen as blaring issues/problems in tragedies to be disregarded for comedy or, in some cases, romance in a comedic, romantic slice-of-life.
this is exactly the case with tianshan. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: He Tian’s current relationship with Guan Shan is not healthy. he doesn’t listen to Guan Shan. he doesn’t respect his personal space. he doesn’t know where to draw the line. he doesn’t know how to properly communicate with him, and thus resorts to violence or threats. tianshan just have a problem with communication. and, sure, maybe it can be chalked up to the fact that they’re young and stressed and don’t know any better. but that excuse is almost as bad as the “boys will be boys” excuse, and that doesn’t make it any better nor does it justify their actions.
He Tian’s idea of relationships is so twisted, and as I talked about in a previous answer, it can probably be stemmed back to his trauma with the puppy Cheng took away from him. I won’t get too deep into that since I explained it in detail in that answer, but keep this in mind nonetheless: He Tian grew up in a family of violence, distance, miscommunication, and lies. it’s all he’s ever known, and that’s what he’s applying to his relationship with Guan Shan. does that make it right? no, absolutely not. but he’s learning.
when Guan Shan had a panic attack at the restaurant, He Tian learned that people aren’t robots/pawns to use at his disposal and rather have their own strong emotions/backgrounds that shape them. thus, he brought Guan Shan home without a word. when he had his night terror and woke up to Guan Shan holding his hands, He Tian realized that there are parts of Guan Shan he still doesn’t know and, potentially, an aspect of their relationship that they’ve only started to uncover. thus, he thanked him without preamble and with a bowed head.
what I’m trying to say is that He Tian does have good intentions at times, but not always. he’s learning as he goes, because god knows he didn’t have a family to teach him how healthy relationships should be. there probably is a part of He Tian that only wants to protect Guan Shan against She Li, but he certainly doesn’t show it in the right way. he acts possessive because he knows that if he doesn’t, he’ll lose what he loves (*insert flashback to the puppy*). again, does that make it right? hell no. jealousy and possessiveness are not cute and are entirely unhealthy in a relationship. the fandom should view them as such, but should also keep an open mind when considering He Tian’s background.
and honestly, the reason why I’m focusing so much on He Tian right now rather than Guan Shan is because if it were up to Guan Shan, he would’ve dropped He Tian within the first few days (maybe even hours) of meeting him. but because of He Tian’s persistence, Guan Shan has no choice but to be involved with him and retaliate when He Tian verbally/physically/emotionally attacks him. nonetheless, Guan Shan has tried to walk away from He Tian on multiple occasions when He Tian’s teasing became too much, and on those occasions, He Tian has given in. (ex. I can’t find the exact chapter, but there is a chapter in which Guan Shan refuses to use He Tian’s fork to eat He Tian’s leftovers, and he gets up and says, “I’m going home,” to which He Tian replies, “Fine, fine, I’ll buy you new food.”)
so yes – tianshan certainly have flaws. He Tian holds too much power, and Guan Shan can’t catch a break. the fandom romanticizes their interactions, but if you take a moment to think realistically and recognize that character flaws are essentially bad but also critical for character development, then there is an even balance in the readers’ relationship with the manhua. don’t support He Tian’s violent interactions with Guan Shan and claim “omg He Tian loves Guan Shan sooooo much when he forces Guan Shan to do XYZ,” but rather support the fact that he hasn’t physically manhandled/harmed Guan Shan in many chapters. support and celebrate He Tian’s development, not his flaws.
and as for what you said about Guan Shan telling He Tian that he’s “no better than She Li”? while I don’t think He Tian is truly as bad as She Li, I actually think that would be a painful, great, and pivotal moment in their relationship. after all, the most consequential scene in tianshan’s relationship thus far has been the kiss. at that moment, Guan Shan had told He Tian outright that he disgusted him and to leave him alone. since then, I don’t think He Tian has ever looked so… taken aback. unsettled.
and guess what? their relationship has only gotten better since then, and He Tian hasn’t touched him like that again.
I don’t know, anon. it’s a tough call. I think tianshan have a lot more chapters ahead of them, and I don’t think Old Xian will allow them to end on bad terms. actually, I don’t think Old Xian will allow them to end on the terms that they’re on right now. they can only improve from here on out, but how Old Xian will go about showing that improvement is unknown to us. there are many paths this story can take, but rather than worrying about what might happen, let’s focus on the here and now. let’s focus on the problems at hand, and let’s focus on the development the characters are undergoing.
don’t ignore the wrongness/cruelty of characters’ actions, but don’t romanticize them either. if you do, you’re only doing a disservice to the character’s personality, existence, and the author’s intentions.
(and as for this newest chapter specifically: I see why people can get excited about He Tian telling Guan Shan to wear the earrings. He Tian wants to verify to both himself and She Li that Guan Shan is with him now. that Guan Shan is no longer under She Li’s control. who doesn’t love a little verification of their OTP’s relationship, especially when it involves an enemy?
but at the same time, it’s unhealthy. Guan Shan doesn’t have a say. he’s being handed around like an object. I don’t think this is pessimistic thinking; I think it’s the truth that no one wants to acknowledge/hear. but I’m not saying that tianshan is wrong in this chapter; I’m saying that He Tian has good intentions, but he’s not showing them correctly. and there will be a chapter in which he does show them correctly, but we must travel this rocky road before we get to that point. patience is key, and I cannot wait until He Tian and Guan Shan reach that moment of clarity. you can’t have light without the dark.)
