Oh okay so I have a Pikmin theory.

So for starters: Pikmin 1->2->3 are chronological. Pikmin 4 is a sort of AU of Pikmin 1, precedented on Olimar not making it off PNF-404 alive (sort of a bad-end of Pikmin 1, but also with various other AU differences).

This leads me to wonder... is Pikmin 4->2->3 arguably a canon sequence of events? Cuz either the differences between 1 and 4 have knocked canon off course, and as such 4 will never lead to 2 and 3. Or you can string them together in a way that makes 4->2->3 a plausible canonical chain.

The biggest thing that stands out to me is Louie. In 1->2->3, no one was ever sent to rescue Olimar in 1, and the second he arrives home in 2 his boss informs him that Louie was attacked ("attacked") by a space rabbit that ate the precious cargo of golden pikpik carrots, launching the company into massive debt (and he forces Olimar back to PNF-404 to treasure hunt to pay off the debt.) It's later revealed Louie was never attacked, and he ate the cargo himself.

In 4, LOUIE is sent to rescue Olimar. (He never does. He completely gives up because he forgot what Olimar looks like, and then becomes the biggest pain in your ass after YOU rescue Olimar, because Louie starts taking hostages and running from you insisting he never wants to leave PNF-404 for... some unclear reason?)

This feels like it could break 4->2->3 as a plausible canon, considering Louie is not home on Hocotate to eat his whole cargo (fucker). But I realized something.

Pikmin 4 starts more or less around when Olimar's life support runs out and he dies. You get his SOS signal not long at all before this happens. And TBH, it's probably a good additional in-game month in 4 before you actually rescue Olimar and encounter Louie. In a good-end run of Pikmin 1, Olimar needs to repair his ship and escape PNF-404 before his life support runs out. So in short: Louie fucks up the cargo sometime prior to Olimar's life support running out, and Pikmin 4 is set after his life support runs out. (Technically, they changed the amount of time his life support lasts between 1 and 4, but I figure that was to trim down Olimar's Tale in 4 and not actually for a canon reason).

My point being, Pikmin 4 being largely set after Olimar's life support runs out means Louie had plenty of time to fuck up the pikpik carrot cargo.

Then there's the fact that in Pikmin 4, Louie is desperate to STAY on PNF-404 for reasons he refuses to ever explain. Maybe, because, ya know, he's waiting for the other shoe to drop. He knows he's responsible for plunging Hocotate Freight into what was essentially $10 million of debt. Louie doesn't want to be charged with $10 million worth of theft. And without Olimar bringing home the bottle cap, there's no plan for repaying that debt.

Louie maybe wants to stay on PNF-404 because he's not going the fuck to jail.

All this to say: I think 4->2->3 is actually a completely reasonable canon sequence, if you figure the "Louie lost (ate) the $10 million of golden pikpik carrots" happens in the background, right at the start of Pikmin 4 before Olimar's life support has run out. Olimar's SOS comes through, and President, desperate for his only competent employee back to help fix this, sends Louie to PNF-404 on a rescue mission. On PNF-404, Louie figures himself a fugitive who'd rather spend his days cooking bulborbs than ever return home to Hocotate to potentially face the music of his "this was definitely a felony" crime, and so he kicks and screams and fights to stay on PNF-404...

...And you drag him home anyway, along with poor rescued Olimar who's died and come back to life... just in time for their boss to be like "YOU idiots, go get me out of debt! Go back to PNF-404"

My toxic trait is getting aggravated when people say Candace and Doof and Perry’s subplots are more interesting than Phineas and Ferb’s subplots, or when they insinuate Phineas and Ferb are static characters.

#my favorite part of the show has always been Phineas and the gang 😅#and it makes me SAD that their subplots sometimes feel like an afterthought compared to Candace and doofenshmirtz #like growing up watching the show this annoyed me to no end #like I WANT TO WATCH THE KIDS HAVE FUN AND INTERACT AND HAVE EMOTIONS #maybe I just have so many Headcanons for the Gang that it feels like they’re less static than they’re written in the show #anyway I know this shouldn’t bother me why do I take it personally🤣#also ya know this is coming from a girl who is VERY GOOD at reading into the smallest details (like specifically concerning Phin and Isa)#like I watched a tiktok Dan made addressing this and like even HE says the show was intentionally written this way and like I get it.#but also. Checkpoint and important updates 2!!: Electric boogaloo!!

Heyo guys!! Long time no talk. So, I’ve got some cool update stuff to show you guys. I’ve been doing a lot of blog “housekeeping” since the end of the last event. (don’t worry it hopefully won’t be boring update stuff lmao as it includes some new supplementary content). So, first and foremost, thanks to the inspiration from @koppais-smallest-nerd I’d like to let you guys know that I am now adding screen reader access to all future posts!!! This one included. At the bottom of each post under the, “read more”, image descriptions for all images will be added! Screen reader accessibility will also be added to all previous asks on the blog. However, getting through all of them will take a tiny bit. As, of this update, the first 4 asks have had image descriptions added. As well as all the supplementary content in between where applicable.

I’d also like to show you guys some supplementary content for the blog. Between these dashed lines are in character day 1 log entries written by the rest of the crew.

I originally wasn’t sure if I wanted to put these extra day 1 logs on the main blog or not. But, I’ve decided that all supplementary content that may be story related will remain on the main blog for the foreseeable future, while BTS content will end up on PNF-404-Plus.

That being said since the end of the 1st event and my time away from the blog a lot has been going on when it comes to the blog.

For one the entire desktop version of the blog has had a large overhaul. A new theme has been added to the main page.

But, not only that but new side pages with supplementary content have been added!! This includes an event list, a bio page for the crew members of the S.S Drake, a Piklopedia page for the new Piklopedia, and a music page to top it all off!!

The Event List will show each new event as they are added! You can click on the current known events to go directly to all posts tagged with that event tag. Speaking of which all Event 01 posts have now had their tags updated with the Event 01 tag making it much easier to navigate.

The new Crew Members page has bios for all the members currently on the mission or known in the story so far! These Bios are pretty in line with cannon with some fanon, and light headcanon added in for good measure. I recommend taking a look as it does have some interesting info in there. Also quick note: all of these bios are written as if it is prior to the beginning of the blog.

Then there’s the Piklopedia!! Here you can read each of their findings as they explore PNF-404! Currently the findings will be on each area they explore (not each creature they find) as they haven’t found any new creatures yet. There is also a map of places they’ve discovered and more!

Lastly, a new music page has been added. On this page, I’ve created event-inspired music playlists. Some of the songs have been mentioned in the past. But, here you can listen to them all in one place and see which songs are for which part of the events. As well there’s a secret songs playlist. This playlist has nothing to do with the blog directly but is filled with music given to me by people I’ve met from this community while I’ve been here!! Currently, there are 5 songs there, however, there will be more added in the future! What makes it secret is that you won’t know who gave me the song XD. (well unless you’re the one who gave me the song lmao) who knows if you’ve ever shared music with me before you may find your song there!! (There is also one song I’m sharing with you guys in there too so have fun figuring that out lmao. )

As well the table of contents has been once again updated with a lot of this new stuff as well as some other new information!! As for mobile users as of now, all of this is on separate Tumblr pages. However, in the near future, I will be uploading much of this stuff , such as the Piklopedia entries and Crew Bio’s, as individual posts! However, in the meantime, if you feel like you can always check out these pages on your phone browser instead if you’re a mobile-exclusive user. (Though some pages don’t look as good on phone)

Welp, I think that’s it as far as updates go!! I should be back with brand new ask posts soon (likely within the next week or so!) so keep a look out!! I’ll see ya guys again soon and thanks for reading!!!

In the first image, Alph’s Day 1 Log entry is shown. His log says, “To think I thought the first day would go well. Then again I didn’t think I would get sucked out of the ship either so maybe I should stop being so surprised. At the very least Louie and I were able to find our way back despite some obstacles and I was able to fix the ship in time. Though if it weren’t for Chunks we would have never found the pikmin we did. That little guy sure saved the day.

However, Then there's what happened to Brittany… To see her in a situation like that... I can’t even bear to think about it. Tomorrow I will be checking over the entirety of the Drake to make sure a crash like that doesn't happen again. I can't help but think that the crash was due to me overlooking something during maintenance... However, The only thing I can do now is to make sure something like this never happens again for all our sake, especially Brittanys’. “ It is then sighed by Alph

In the second Image Charlies Day 1 Log entry can be read it says, “I should have been on top of things. As this crew’s captain, everything that went wrong was under my watch and things should have gone much smoother. That being said I am very glad that all of my crew have made it out alive. Though I am still worried about Brittany. If only I was able to keep her safe…

But, at this point, we all must press forward. We have a task to complete and after seeing how devastated some areas are, we must get to the bottom of what’s wrong with PNF-404. Nothing will get in my way, not with my steely fists that is!!” It is then signed by Charlie

In the third image Louies’ day 1 log entry can be seen it says,

“

Going back to the pikmin planet wasn’t at the top of my list of things I thought I’d be doing anytime soon. Yet somehow I find myself back here and stranded again…. At least I wasn’t fully alone this time…

Alph and I eventually found a pikmin that we later named Chunks. He sure acts differently in comparison to any other Pikmin I’ve seen before. But, even still, if it weren’t for Chunks, we wouldn’t have been able to help Brittany or find any other pikmin for that matter. So, we should thank him for that.” It is then signed by Louie

In the fourth image the updated version of the Project: PNF-404 Tumblr is shown. It now has a bright cyan futuristic aesthetic to it. In the fifth image a picture of the new events page, listing all the past and future events planned so far is shown. It has 1 known event Titled Event 01. The other 3 are titled Event unknown. In the sixth image, the new crew members’ character page is shown. A picture of Olimar is shown along with a description of his traits and a biography. It reads as follows,

But, for as much as Olimar tends to be on top of things, his trips to the pikmin planet have had him face many dangers and life-threatening events. Though these issues are not something he brings up…

In the seventh image, The new Piklopidea page is shown, In one section it displays a map of PNF-404 with 2 marked locations. The first of which is highlighted in blue is named the “Silent Stream” the second, is highlighted in orange, Its title is “Glacial Gardens”. To the right of that is a description introduction for the Piklopedia. It says” To help ensure the progress and success of this mission all crew members must write down their findings in this log. Overview:

CAPTAIN Olimar: Writes In-depth biological analysis of fauna and how the ecosystem affects said fauna.

LOUIE: Writes about Recipes and ingredients that can be found in each area. ALPH: Looks at the area with the eyes of an engineer. He uses this insight to discuss the benefits and flaws of what he’s analyzing. BRITTANY: Uses her botanist skills to look into the flora of the area along with talking about the aesthetics of things and adding in her own general opinions.

CAPTAIN CHARLIE: Writes about combat strategy and how one can use the environment in an area for a tactical advantage.

To the left is a map showing the current locations discovered by the crew. The one highlighted in orange has yet to be explored.

The final image shows the new music page! 6 playlists can be selected on the left each having 5 songs. To the right is an image of the event 01 cover art. With (from left to right), Brittnay, Charlie, Olimar, Louie, and Alph all looking up with a distressed expression on their faces.

1. John Doe from Telltale’s Batman: the Enemy Within. John is my fav fictional character ever. I draw him too much and I have a poster and mouse pad of one of my drawings of him. i don’t think i’ll ever stop drawing or writing for him. BTEW is also what got me into batjokes, dc, and the Joker. and clowns 🤡

2. Tony Stark/Iron Man in the MCU. Iron man 2 was the first marvel movie i had ever seen, and legit, he is the love of my life. i have an iron man shrine and a life-size decal of him. i have so much merch of him and i went to avengers: endgame dressed as him with props, like his mask and repulsor blaster. iron man 1 through 3 are fantastic and just *chefs kiss*

3. Kory Anders/Koriand’r in Titans. I haven’t finished season 2 of titans yet, but season 1 is AWESOME. legit loved it from the beginning and i was hype as soon as i saw the trailer. it gave me so much i had ever wanted and i would die for Miss Anders. kory is so fantastic and beautiful and i just. i wish i could be her. i started wearing high heel boots because of her. QUEEN

Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb. so I grew up w pnf and from the beginning, perry was my fav character, though i love everyone. i didn’t really become obsessed with the show until after it ended. i would come home from school and there’d always be reruns, so i would watch it every day. then i binged it on netflix and just. i’ve seen every ep several times, both movies, the live show (on youtube), pnf take two, doof’s daily dirt. yeah. everything.

5. Theron Shan in Star Wars: The Old Republic. it’s hard to pic a fav in this game since i typically love my ocs more, but theron is just awesome. he’s a wreck, constantly fails, is adorable, and is voiced by my fav voice actor, Troy Baker. i legit made my agent exclusively to romance theron. he’s my boy

6. Dorian Pavus from Dragon Age: Inquisition. showstopping. beautiful. breathtaking. spectacular. i just love him. the first time i played dai, i was a lady qunari romancing iron bull and i thought dorian was just okay. then i did his companion quest and i just. omfg fell in love. so i romanced him with a lavellan. pavellan for life!

7. Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog. it’s hard for me to decide my fav disney princess , but i’m pretty sure it’s tiana. She’s hardworking, wonderful, i just love her. i also think it’s interesting that her arc is learning to enjoy life and not overwork herself, which isn’t really an arc i see in a lot of female characters, especially in the princess lineup. also, i hate disney for how they treated her. you can tell disney didn’t really care about her or her movie, making it 2D, hiring randy newman to make the songs, and marketing it terribly. it’s a shame since Tiana is such a wonderful character! <3

8. Alex Mercer from [PROTOTYPE]. so this game is amazing and it’s legit a part of my personality. i played it first when i was little, then my copy of the game broke. it wasn’t until i saw Venom in theatres did it like make me remember how much i loved the game. so i had to buy it again lol Alex is fantastic and i need a movie of the game. i’m going to write a script. i need it. alex will be played by rami malek XD

9. Katsa from Graceling. my fav book and fav protagonist. katsa is wonderful and deeply flawed. she’s my fav character in the book series and graceling is my fav of the 3 books. she’s really unique as a character, a female character, and a YA protagonist. fingers crossed for Winter Keep!

10. Eddie Brock in Venom. i just rewatched venom recently and it made me realize how much eddie is just the opposite of these toxic-masculinity male protagonists. eddie is kind, sensitive, a loser, flawed but also a good person. he just makes me happy. im so excited for V:LTBC!!!

there are other characters not in specific fandoms like batgirl or harley quinn, but i didn’t know where to put them lol

Why hello everybody!!

Okay, arriving at the point, this is my first time ever drawing with water colored pencils and the result is .. nice? I mean, I could have done so much worse but still, I like how it turn out, even if of course, I like the sketch better x"3

About the drawing, it's based on a dream I did last night: it was so freaking cool, it took place in a Star Wars' like universe, I got the vibe of that, and Phineas and Ferb were two young teens that didn't have an home and they were like thieves that for survive they have to do illegal jobs and such. The thing I remember the most was Phineas and Ferb using this king of big platform and around them there was a beautiful bluish-colored city full of monsters and Star Wars stuffs .. the only thing that I ever watch of Star Wars was the PnF' special so I guess that yesterday thhe force had hit me? X"3

Then Phineas and Ferb met up Candace that fake to be part of the Empire again to protect the boys, somehow I connected these two things and then I woke up, GAH I WANTED TO KNOW MORE ToT

Oh well, I was inspired by the dream, I started the draw and decided to try also this new technique. I wanted to make Ferb as well, but I ended up doing my boy only x'3

Gosh I already imagined Phineas and Ferb as street pure criminals that jump around from place to place to live. Phineas would still be the innocent and pure boy that we know, but not too naive and experienced with life, Ferb is more mature then him. One thing that I like about this are the clothes, I wanted to be inspired by SW but in the end I've made my own stylization and I really really like it, if you may ask they're large on purpose, Phin likes large clothes so he can use them for a long time x3. Of course I had to add a scratch on him just because and eyes bags, but in the end is cute, need to practice more. Well that's all, really hope that you'll like this new experiment, please be good with me! See ya soon! ^^

oh look, more milo episodes i will watch and probably forget immediately after, but since i feel the need to stay updated here we go

Aaaaand Doof is there with Dakota. Just when I was feeling I could get into this. At least Doof hasn’t been annoying... yet

Zack and Melissa have their game and one of the answers is the “Otherdimensionater” from “that movie with that one guy”... I was like OH but then I was like “...oh”. Shrek voice: CAN YOU NOT REFERENCE PNF FOR FIVE MINUTES?

“Something that oozes from your body but it’s not all that unpleasant”. Well THAT sounds kinda dirty, don’t ya think? And of course they cut it off before they answer it... yeah, I think they want to see whose mind is in the gutter.

Wait so it’s just Murphy’s Law that’s the answer? Look, I think Murphy’s Law CAN sometimes be unpleasant. :v

Dakota and Doof insulting each other’s voices... of course they did that. Not as funny as it could’ve been given how much PnF fatigue the show has.

Wow, they’re not on the same page at all. Doof makes Dakota look like Cavendish. Also, Doof being a screw up as usual.

NO NOT THE FUCKING RACCOON UGH... honestly I’m so tired I don’t even have the energy to be mad, and of course he’s just there to screw with Cavendish by making the ship fly for a moment

Okay that Dakota and Doof thing there felt poorly paced, like last scene they get mad at each other but now we immediately cut to their resolution. It feels rushed and forced, kind of? The payoff doesn’t feel earned to me for some reason, it’s like they apologise just because the plot said so.

WTF was the hand slapping thing Melissa was doing with Zack? Also Milo finally comes out I guess, and the ship lands but not before trapping the trio in Milo’s room because lol.

Yeah, standard fare, a few moments were fine I guess but overall it’s just “meh”.

Cast Party:

Zack does interpretive dance once and breaks his leg... okay

Let me guess, they’re all faking their casts because they want to make Zack feel better.

So did they actually break them all for real, or is this the act? Given this is Milo then I guess it probably is real, lol.

These stories aren’t doing anything for me, though Mildred being “okay” was kinda funny.

Melissa does martial arts, huh. Also a connected story to Sara.

Ah so the stories are connected because everyone is doing something they enjoy but things screw up anyway, and that’s for Zack to realise he shouldn’t give up just because something might go wrong, very MML, it’s nice I guess

(PnF) Headcanon #15 TnMtober Pt.1,3,4,5 and 6

For those who aren't aware, this month is the official Marie and Thomas month, with a event calendar and everything(you can find the calendar here https://twitter.com/MartitaSketches/status/1445413673585942532/photo/1) Most people are drawing things for this month, but I can't draw. So I decided instead to post some headcanons for each day. I'm a little late, so this post with contain days 1-6(Excluding 2 which will be a whole post on it's own). Enjoy! Day 1: Video Games A)Haven Hologram is an improved version of Phineas and Ferb's gaming console from season one. It is controlled via a headset, hand controllers, and feet controllers. It connects to all sense except for touch so that the wearer won't experience physical pain while playing. It's akin to controlling a hologram of whatever character your playing in whatever game your playing. B)I came up with gamertags and favorite Smash Bros. Ultimate characters for the main group of Marie and Thomas. Jasmine's gamertag is RicksRollsRoyce cause she is a meme queen, and she likes playing with Solid Snake cause kickbutt personality. Destiny's gamertag is NautUndercover as a reference to Psychonauts and she plays as Banjo and Kazooie which was her first plateformer, she is a gamer through and through. Xavier's gamertag is Barrell_Roll, and he plays Star Fox cause that is his favorite game of all time. Fred's gamertag is Fred-T-Noobish(he used a random tag generator cause he doesn't no the first thing about gaming), and he plays as Kirby quite a bit. Maria's gamertag is the same as her email address which is MadameE, and she likes playing Sonic the most. Lastly, is Thomas whose gamertag is TheGame, and he likes to play as Princess Zelda. Day 3: Kids A)I've always headcanon'd that Maria was born with diabetes instead of just getting super hyper from sugar(it's also what I headcanon as having ended the life of Phineas Father; Phelan & Phineas and Isabella's first child; Vincent). So, when she's a kid, I always imagine Maria being very isolated due to specifically her father's fears which is why she's not good around others and usually becomes insecure or nervous. Most kids she grew up with didn't feel comfortable around her as they were children and had a difficult time controlling themselves enough for her to be safe around them. Thomas was really the only person allowed around her that wasn't afraid to treat her like a normal kid, and he was the only one her parents really trusted to be safe around her. I headcanon Thomas was not only a quiet kid, but a very curious one as Ferb is shown in the show to be up for almost anything for curiosities sake. Thomas found Maria to be interesting considering she was the only kid in their close family to be younger than him, he(Feb. 27th, 2024) was four/five-ish months old when she(June. 3rd, 2024) was born. Their parents, of course, spent quite a bit of time together meaning so did they. Thomas' mother and father loved Maria like their own daughter, and his aunt and uncle loved Thomas just the same. He got to help his Aunt 'take care' of her when she was basically helpless, and as Maria got older she felt most comfortable around him. That was true for him too as he didn't really feel like their cousins(Amanda, Xavier, and Fred)understood his desire to ask questions or test limits. Day 4: Favorite Movie A)My personal favorite movie is a tie between Ponyo & Clueless, but I decided to just pick movies I thought would be the main crews favorites. I would say, Jasmine's is something like 'The Banana Splits' movie based of the TV Show of the same name due to the fact she deals with horror the best and is a jokester. Destiny's would be something like 'Detective Pikachu' as it's like the best video game movie of our time, and Jasmine & her think Ryan Ronald's is hilarious. Xavier and Fred both like the movie 'Horton Hears a Who' as the Flynn-Fletchers love Doctor Seuss. Maria's favorite would have to be 'The Care Bears Movie' when she's young, but becomes 'Clueless' when she's older(as she falls in love with the book 'Emma', tell me it isn't a perfect metaphor for her and Thomas' relationship. I don't mind the Phantom of the Opera, but I think Emma/Clueless is a WAY better fit-And healthier.). And, Thomas' favorite is no doubt 'The Illusionist' with it's detailed plot and deep characters, ya know the philosophical stuff. Day 5: Terror A)When it comes to fears these characters have I already made a list for Maria, Thomas, and Jasmine. Jasmine is afraid of having no free will & is claustrophobic. Maria has a fear of woodpeckers and of being a failure(I made this whole new dimension where I turned these characters into animals/insects, and made Maria Monarch Butterfly like her mother, this is where I headcanon the fear of Woodpeckers came from cause they eat butterflies.). Lastly, Thomas has Sociophobia(is good at hiding it), Pistanthrophobia(More Familial than Romantic, but both are fears), and Phonophobia(Specifically gunshots). I have explanations for all these fears, but I won't rant about them here. Day 6: Candyland A)Again, I can't draw, so decided to think of what the main crews favorite candy would be. Jasmine's I went with the treat 'Kismi Toffee' from her home country of India. Destiny was given 'Bamsemums' a Norwegian candy made with marshmallows and coated in a light layer of chocolate. Xavier and Fred both got 'Twix's' as their favorite candy. For Maria I kept her canonical favorite Swiss Chocolate. And, I gave Thomas 'Katjes Licorice Cats' which are a German candy shaped like cats and made of real black licorice(he likes the salted kind specifically). That's it for days 1,3,4,5 and 6. I'll get around to day 2(Second Dimension)at some point it's just that that post will basically be a summary of a story idea I've had for years now. Anyway, please leave a comment about anything you wish. How the fuck did Perry's lair come to be? Like OWCA had no freaking idea that the Flynn-Fletchers would be adopting a secret agent until they'd already adopted one, so did they have to somehow build a whole lair and seven million secret entrances while the family was living there? Did they somehow send the family on vacation just to get them out of the house to build the lair? Wouldn't that have raised questions from the neighbors? Or does every house in Danville — and, likewise, every house in every city that OWCA operates from — have a secret agents' lair underneath it? I just have so many questions about the semantics of OWCA like how the actual fuck does this work

Ohmygoodness, what if Perry finding out about Stan's portal would tie into the AT2D crossover prompt?! Phineas is fuming more than ever because not only has Perry been fighting crime behind their backs, but he also kept quiet that a wanted criminal was operating a doomsday device under their noses, but when Stan explains his backstory, it gives Phineas more of a wake-up call to save Perry from Doof-2, since he cared enough about the guy to let him continue saving his brother.

I didn’t even think about how that could tie into at2d 👀 Phineas was mad enough when he realized Perry let Heinz open the portal to hide his identity, but he’d be pissed if he knew Perry had been watching Stan go at it for weeks and not stepped in once. I hate to think that Phineas wouldn’t forgive Perry until after he forgave Stan, but that honestly does sound like how it would go down. He wouldn’t realize until he heard Stan’s story that Perry had a reason to let Stan open that portal, and that if Perry had a reason for that, maybe he has a reason for keeping the fact that he’s a secret agent from them, too.

But if a) Perry was aware of the portal and b) Phineas finds out that Perry was aware of the portal, I do have to question the logistics of said portal(s). Is it sort of a continuation of the portal post, but instead of the portal bringing Ford back, it sucks them all into the second dimension? In which case, do they not meet Ford at all, and they have to open another portal to bring him back when they get back to their dimension? And does Heinz now need to figure out how to make his portal work on his own? Or does Heinz also go through that portal, because if it’s a continuation of the portal post, he could theoretically also be there when the portal opens? In which case, Heinz is kinda obsolete, and 2D Doof is going to focus his energy more on finding Stan than finding the kids or working with Heinz -- and that’s if he even meets Heinz at all; I’m assuming Stan’s portal wouldn’t open up in DEI, so would they run into 2D Doof that early on? And if not, how does that affect the rest of the plot?

And now that I’ve asked a bazillion questions because I am way too into logistics, here’s how I think it would work.

It is a continuation of the portal post, except Perry does, for some reason or other, have to reveal that he’s basically a human in a platypus’s body and that he’s on Stan’s side for this (and maybe he gives them the pamphlet then so they know that he’s a secret agent, because then they know that Perry could have and should have stopped this but chose not to). Not only is Dipper pissed at Stan, but Phineas is pissed at Perry, so they’ve got that in common. Now the dynamics are basically Stan and Perry vs Dipper and Phineas, Mabel and Soos are conflicted, Ferb is lowkey indifferent like he was in at2d because he loves Phineas and Perry too much to pick a side, and poor Heinz was just there to make sure the portal didn’t explode or whatever and he has no idea when the fuck Perry the Platypus got here but he’s very confused.

So they get launched into the other dimension, and they’re probably dumped in the middle of the street somewhere idrk. They can obviously tell it’s not a good place, but they don’t realize until someone sees Heinz and starts freaking out that it’s such a bad place because 2D Doof is in charge (and that’s an interesting conversation because literally no one but Perry knew that Heinz was evil, and that’s just going to make Phineas more upset). Obviously, Perry can’t explain that the Heinz they’re looking at is literally the dumbest person known to man, so he’s just gotta sit there and let Phineas (and tbh probably Dipper too) yell at him. But they know they have to make it home somehow, so they still head to 2D Phineas and Ferb’s house. A Normbot catches them in the process, and though he doesn’t manage to capture anyone, he does tell 2D Doof that his doppelganger is here with a few kids, a couple adults, and Perry the Platypus.

Perry hears that 2D Doof is looking for him and that he’ll leave the rest of the group alone as long as he gets Perry, so he peaces out, and Phineas doesn’t even do the whole “Did it ever occur to you that we could help you? That we could have made a great team? But I guess you can’t have teamwork without trust,” bit, because that only worked in the movie because Phineas still had some trust left in Perry. After the whole Stan-Perry-portal debacle, he can’t say that anymore, so their “goodbye” is literally just Phineas yelling at him, which, like, it sucks, but what’s Perry gonna do about it, ya know? (Would 2D Doof want Heinz, too? I almost feel like he would; it would be a two-for-one deal, and if they turned themselves in, 2D Doof would have no need for anyone else -- at least until he figured out that this was Stan’s portal).

And since they’re in a safe place now, Stan finally explains what he was trying to do. I don’t think it would be like it was in A Tale of Two Stans, though, because when he explained it then, he had already seen Ford again and he already knew that they still weren’t on good terms. Before he saw Ford, it almost looked like he’d either forgotten why he didn’t like his brother or that he’d moved on and just assumed that Ford had, too, so when he tells the story, it’s a little bit of an optimistic view of things. That’s not really important to anything except that everyone is going to be in for a rude awakening when Ford shows up and lowkey tries to beat the shit out of his brother.

That’s when the Doofenchannel announces the capture of public enemy number one, Perry the alternate-dimension Platypus, and public enemy number two, alternate dimension Heinz Doofenshmirtz. They assume that means that Heinz was actually on their side the whole time, which is yet another brownie point for Perry. What they don’t realize is that Heinz basically spoon-fed 2D Doof everything he wanted to know, and when 2D Doof realized his doppelganger was entirely useless and that he just needs Stan, he basically said fuck you and threw him in prison, too. (It’s probably worth noting though that Heinz isn’t, like, actively against the PnF/GF gang; he kinda likes them, but he also kinda liked this alternate version of himself, so he wasn’t really sure where his loyalties should lie until he got thrown in jail)

Then everything’s basically back on track with where the fanfic would have gone. They go on their rescue mission, save their tri-state area, Heinz gives up his Choo Choo, and all is forgiven in the end because I’m a sucker for a happy ending lmao
