people so often interpret sazed as taako’s ex, which like, to each their own obviously, nothing wrong with that, but i think its so so much more interesting to interpret him as taako’s apprentice instead. and like all we have to go on is that he really looked up to taako who sort of taught him how to cook. “thought taako hung the moon and stars” or something like that iirc. which brings so much more depth to taako’s relationship with angus if sazed was to taako then what angus is to taako now, someone who idolized him and saw him as a mentor.

it puts some of the conversations taako’s had with angus into really interesting context. like the fact that the first person taako’s (ever?) told about what happened at glamour springs (which he didnt know at the time, but was sazed’s fault) is angus. does he tell angus because he doesn’t want him to be betrayed (like he assumes sazed was, since he ran away)? or because he doesn’t want angus learning from someone so clearly unfit to be a mentor (both since he was unfit to be sazed’s, because he was dismissive to him, and because he believes himself to be a murderer)? he teaches angus magic and cooking. when he implies that angus might become as or more skilled than him he jokes about striking him down. which is exactly what he did to sazed when he wanted equal share.

but taako redeems himself with angus. he mistreats angus in the beginning, bullying him and dismissing him and generally being a dick, but as angus becomes taako’s apprentice, he’s more open and a little nicer. still “open” and “nice” in his own way, but definitely more than he was before. learning from his mistake, letting angus in and being encouraging and honest in the way he wasn’t with sazed.

Thoughts. okay so the total drama drama drama drama island special is interesting mainly bc of team e-scope but im going to take a moment here to ramble about his dynamic with other people here,,

(oh and i didn't have anywhere really to slot it into the other post or segue into it here but dodgebrawl as a Moment demonstrates how [this AU] noah can play the social game, just in a very very different way than how it's normally seen.

he knows what he's doing is going to bother his team and incentivize them to vote, i'd say in this au he even plays up the cockiness and makes veiled personal slights against specific people

(mainly those who would be annoyed enough to vote him off, see: heather, justin, leshawna, cody/trent to some extent if he said smth about gwen? < and gwen herself in that scenario. and to another extent beth, since hes playing up his outright mean traits, which would make lindsay vote with her. i dont think he would do anything specific to/with owen or izzy, since he may see izzy as too volatile and owen too genuine)

in the opposite way of whats expected, sure, but it is a social play. he can pick apart what these people are and what they show and push at it to achieve his own ends (and maybe its even some sort of way for him to regain control in this fundamentally uncontrollable situation he's found himself in; he can be the punishment in foucalt's imagining, to a much smaller degree))

so his teammates,,, do not like him tbh. his flagrant display during dodgeball and everyone being pissed at him after the fact is true in this AU, just coming with different motivations. even after the fact when the frustration of everyone fizzles out, hes still majorly offputting because of his detachedness, and deliberately makes his shown traits very unpalatable to experience in person combined with that.

the only two exceptions are izzy and owen respectively: owens mostly coming from a place of genuineness and im going to say while he wouldnt be able to verbalize it, in some manner owen would clock noahs behavior as a defense mechanism. maybe in the sense of 'hes just scared to open up to people!!' or something similar, but he definitely has a lot more faith that noah really isnt that cold and flat.

[*]izzy feels much the same -- except maybe it comes off more to her as strategic. izzy can act, and might recognize that in noah. if you wanted to you could write this in as to why she was eager to swap teams in the first episode, but it wouldnt change that he does get eliminated and thats all she sees of him until the special -- which, her intrigue in his lacking and the fact that it apparently wasnt strategic to get him further in the game, could help explain why she picks him in the team-up.

my au my rules eva and izzy became really good friends on the playa; izzy isn't afraid of eva (and curbing her anger before it reaches a boiling point) and eva is physically adept enough to restrain izzy from Shenanigans that might be a little Much. but eva doesnt really?? know anything about noah?? but izzy insists on teaming with him for the special (and unbeknownst to her noah wasnt even planning to participate initially) so he must be some level of Not Too Bad if izzy wants anything to do with him that doesnt seem to be related to tormenting the guy

and she thinks hes Fine. apathetic and detached and unpalatable (but then again, everyone in their little trio really is to some degree), but can kind of understand izzys intrigue: hes still A Guy, hes just hidden behind 20 layers of non-substance that are so offputting from the first meeting it makes people steer clear of him.

now with tddddi comes two other pertinent details: the justin line, and the Thing With Duncan.

i personally thing noahs 'he's the anti-me' line is really funny in the context of canon but if you squint it kinda works here? wherein justin is non-speaking yet flaunts himself to be the center of attention and clearly shows intent and capacity to scheme (underdeveloped or no, see: awakeathon), whereas noah speaks a lot yet lets himself fade into the background, showing vague hints of the capacity to scheme but no intention or palpable ambition behind it.

^ am i reaching? maybe. the other option here is noah somehow has seen him in-person before on a modeling or red carpet kind of gig and dislikes him on principle because of it/its a jab at it (smth smth they are both opposite ends of the same industry? justin is the face of it in a manner where noah stays behind the scenes and out of sight)

and the thing with duncan,, hear me out here okay noah does his whole song and dance, goes up to him and patronizes him, and duncan retaliates. however, he curses like a sailor and in noah's head has ruined the footage, therefore instead of further retaliating and potentially invoking actual physical harm he just. doesnt react. at all. duncan looks up at him and hes just dead-eyed staring down at him -- and then he leaves.

^ the scene has been ruined, and everyone else is doing so much that theres no reason to play it up any more. duncan and him arent plot important like how heather and lindsay were, theres no reason for the crew to painstakingly edit his swearing out. they just wont let it reach the final cut. duncan is understandably very confused by this, but at that point noah was already gone to find eva and izzy again (< this is when the cast having a running bet that noahs and android becomes Not a Joke)

but life goes on!!! and in the worlds worst comedy of errors (for noah), izzy ends up dragging him along into the lake, thereby leaving him as a confirmed member of the next season.

^ noah is so angry at this. popping blood vessels. he argues with chris endlessly, straight frothing at the mouth at only having two days of real reprieve before he has to deal with the Same Shit again. and chris gets this, to some degree, but also knows that if theres no explanation for noahs non-appearance to hand the producers, theyll be pissed (since all things considered, noahs pretty damn popular among the fans)

luckily for him, courtney just filed a lawsuit against the show!! and since chris is busy running said show, the producers do not want to deal with it and are willing to hand off the case to anyone else -- hence, chris officially signs noah on as his PA, and noah takes over the court settlements and whatnot.

< though i do imagine the producers would see it as a 'get out of the show' scheme, and thereby push way harder for his involvement in WT as a result

but noah does get a break!!! for now, at least.

Kane is a cutie pie, no wonder he would do something cute for you, for example, he would buy matching things for the two of you. Whenever you two hang out he wants to buy something for you sobbing rn. He already bought matching bracelets, matching hoodies and t-shirts, and necklaces. He would also buy them as a surprise/gift for you!! He'd go to you and be like "Babe I have a thing for you" while smiling as he always does im melting istg. He is the cutest.

ʚ 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 ɞ help not my loml

Most people think Ryan isn't a big fan of skinship and hates it, but honestly he likes it a lot, especially kisses. In my opinion, he would kiss you, or at least try to, everywhere. His favorite places to kiss are probably your lips and your hands I WANT THIS MAN RIGHT NOW UFF He would kiss your hands when you are in public or around the members so they don't feel uncomfortable (bad that you two don't know they simp for you everytime and that they love you as a couple rip), while kisses on the lips mostly in private. You guys kiss on the lips in public too, but most of the times things get hotter and you end up making out I AM SIMPING

And last but not least, we have Justin. Our precious JP is such a lovely and kind boy, but also funny! That's why he would always propose to do something fun!! His favorite thing is Just Dance: man doesnt even care if you cant dance, he just wants to spend time with you and have fun tearing hard fr. He would also propose karaoke! You'd try to sing as better as possible, but ending up doing voices and acting like you are having a whole concert in front a huge crowd. He loves seeing you happy, so he'll do anything possible to make you smile or laugh at least once (spoiler: you'd end up smiling all the time)

Soooo me and @man-of-fandoms began brainstorming on once again another GHS related au, this one actually also being related to the Scales of Fate au. Basically, it's an alternate timeline to the Scales of Fate au. And we called it

The Scales of Twisted Fate Au

Justin, Desperate to get a win, secretly employs the help of Assasin, Shelly De Killer, who assasinates Japser and Ray, (Jasper being stabbed with his scales while Ray is shot in the heart) causing them *both* to end up in Gregory House. And naturally, all the fucked up things that happen to Jasper still happen, and despite Ray being there to try and help him keep his sanity, Jasper eventually loses it.

Ray would eventually succumb to his own transformation as well (becoming Ray "The Grieving Pierrot"), making him look more like a slightly twisted version of Reala, but leaving his humanity intact as he desperatly tries to pull free the one he loves from Judgement Boy.

But, Justin's plan still backfires on him. Because he ends up getting killed for going back on his deal with De Killer, and ends up in Gregory house as well. But he quickly learns of Jasper's fate, and knowing that his normal tactics won't work, he demands that he undergoes the same transformation as Jasper did. But he wished to make his better than Jasper's, just to show that HE was the superior one. Becoming Judgement Boy Gold.

But his Judgements are twisted and made to be the outcomes HE wants, while JB's would be the truth. Similar to how they were as lawyers. Strangely enough, there were no clones made, as Justin wanted it to just be him and Jasper. So he could be the one to constantly wave his "greater status" above JB's head. Along with constantly calling him by Jasper. A name he no longer remembers and is constantly confused as to why he keeps being called that name by those he doesnt know hes forgotten.

Over time, as much as Ray wanted to stay by JB's side, he was always pushed away by this look of confusion, telling Ray that JB just couldnt recognize him anymore. So Ray would try to help elsewhere and bring hope to the other guests, and even try to convince Gregory to stand up to his mother! Ray did all he could to try and get the love of his life back. But at this point, he had to try something else.

Then one night, Justin Gold's laying down the insults on JB because he doesn't remember him and is filling his head with how he's better at everything he will try to do. But Ray then comes in, pretty much close to giving up on getting Japser back. Plus, Ray is pretty much unrecognizable in his transformed state. But still he defends JB and tells Gold to get lost. Which he reluctantly does, but not before rubbing it in that it "was pointless trying to save someone that doesn't even remember them anymore".

JB thinks: 'What did he mean by that?" and quickly scans Ray's memories before getting that headache of awakening. Then, as Ray is about to leave, he hears a familiar voice call out his name for the first time in years.

This is when JB finally realizes and remembers the love he had once forgotten by some sort of miracle! Once again they would cherish each other's loving embraces and just for a moment, feel whole again. And from that point onward, Ray never leaves JB's side. And eventually, despite looking the same JB would start to act a little like his human self again.

Soon enough, a power struggle would begin between Gregory and his mother. Due to Ray's help in bringing the Hotel back to it's former status (a place for lost souls to stay until Death comes along to bring their souls to the afterlife), Gregory would begin going against his mother's orders and eventually kicking her out. But not without Gregory Mama taking Judgement Boy Gold with her. This is when Gregory Mama begins to wage war against Gregory House, and makes her own hotel across to the other side of the forest to take in twisted and evil souls. She tried to take some other guests in the hotel with her, but all except Gold refused to go with her.

This brings in new opportunities for Gregory House to grow and become better than it once was, which is where the shared events from the Twisted Fate AU come in. In which the Judgement Circus is a thing here too, along with Ringmaster RoseGold! And instead, the Judgement Boy clones were created after the Judgement Circus is built, (As well as future Judgement Bots made for this au and the Twisted Fate au) Ray would find himself to play a good role on the Judgement Circus alongside JB! Due to Ray's already clown-like appearance.

As time goes on, Gregory would be working hard day and night to make sure the hotel doesnt fall like it once did, along with the help of Ray and JB of course. Meanwhile Gregory Mama was having a hard time getting any guests at all for her "Dark Gregory House" (as she calls it) and so she gets the idea to have the little ammount of prompters there was that Gold managed to drag along with him create a Judgement Boy clone for her hotel. But to spite Gold, these promoters that were forced into doing the bidding of these two monsters would prove to Gold that you can't make something that beats the original. But Gold only makes it worse for himself due to him berating and rushing the prompters. Due to this and the lack of materials, a faulty clone was made (Soul Collector JB). Gold decides to roll with it anyway since it's really all he has, although relentlessly abused the poor thing for the constant mistakes it would make.

Ray and JB catch wind of what's going down at Gregory Mama's hotel and the poor clone in Gold's posession.This they could NOT stand. And so they sneaked into enemy territory to eventually retrieve this clone and bring them back to Gregory House. This clone eventually becomes very close to Ray and JB, basically becoming their child!

Later on, a bit farther into the future, Gregory is confronted by Death for an important matter. Gregory is told that a slight disturbance has manifested within the between of their realm and reality. This disturbance being the appearance of souls manifesting from non-living objects within an elementary school in the real world. Death supposes it's from essence of these forgotten objects that give them living and breathing forms. And somehow the energy from their realm is leaking into the waking world, giving the elementary school a new form during midnight. These beings formed by these objects seemed to be children, Wandering around this empty school aimlessly, not sure what to do. Death tells that this is why he came for Gregory's help. But as much as Gregory wanted to help, he has so much on his plate already and couldnt possibly offer help of his own. But... lately, seeing how well Ray and JB were at watching over the children of the hotel every now and then, Gregory had an idead that just maybe... Ray and JB could be the ones to help out death with this situation.

It is later found out, that this midnight version of the school was once in operation before under different owners. But due to Gregory Mama having the most power in the realm the school was connected to, she destroyed it, causing no more forgotten objects to be given living forms. This, along with the Principal of the Midnight School being the only survivor, but was trapped away in a void like prison. But with Gregory Mama not in full power anymore at Gregory House, new forgotten objects in the school been given form! So when Gregory is informed by Death about the school, it would soon be under the watchful eyes of Ray and JB!
