Good day! I'm just gonna dump a bunch of information on my purgatory au here.

So this is an au where cats who aren't satisfied with their lives or died with unfinished business go to until they've accepted the lives they had and are able to move on. Once they do, they are reincarnated to have another chance at life. The world looks like a serene forest also with a twolegplace. The twolegs do not bother the cats and are rarely seen in the forest. The world is designed so that the cats can live the happy life there they never got. Most of the other cats here have always been there. Never died to get to purgatory. These cats are "npcs". They run the same dialogue most of the time and follow a strict routine. Cats that go here are stuck at any age below young warrior depending on when they died. In a secluded section of the world, there is an archway where one cat can go through at a time. Once inside, you can walk down memory lane and relive your memories in order to work through them. They can be in there for days or weeks or even months so it's only reccomended to go in there if you're truly ready.

The main story follows Squirrelflight, Hawkfrost, Snowtuft, Mapleshade, Princess, Stonefur, Scourge, and Leopardstar. I was gonna include other characters such as Cloudstar of Skyclan but I thought that wouldn't work. And I know Hawfrost, Snowtuft, and Mapleshade being in purgatory instead of the dark forest messes up with the main plot but just pretend it was another cat. I was gonna have Maple's kits mess with Appledusk's bloodline for various reasons. I won't talk about it here since this is a post about the purgatory.

Squirrelflight arrived here because she was unhappy for a large chunk of her life due to clan life, the whole scramble after the fire situation, her relationship with Bramblestar, as well as the secret of the 3 which eventually came out un the end.

Hawkfrost arrived here because of Tigerstar. Tigerstar never treated him like a father should to his son and Hawk only did what he said for approval especially since his mum left and he basically never had both parents around at the same time. As he spends more time in the afterlife, he also starts to feel guilt about what he did when we was alive.

Snowtuft arrived here because of his guilt with what he did while he was alive. Since Snowtuft never did have a backstory, I think, I had to come up with one. I had to change some things so it made sense how he got his scar. I couldn't get rid of the scar, man. It's too unique to get rid of. I'll say he lived during Brokenstar's reign of terror. Snowtuft was against Brokenstar's rule but he said nothing because he was afraid of what would happen to him. Though he once did speak his disapproval to a clan mate who had reported him. He has his scar as a reminder of his punishment that day. He would steal kits, help with the conquest of Windclan, and help train kits. Once, his guilt got the best of him and he tried to help a couple apprentices escape. He was caught by Brokenstar and Blackfoot. He and the apprentices were soon killed after. Snowtuft felt immense guilt with what had happened and wished he could go back and fix everything. He has a strong aversion to fighting because he doesn't want to hurt others again.

Mapleshade's reason for being in purgatory is fairly obvious if you've read Mapleshade's vengeance. She was thrown out by her clan for having kits with Appledusk who cheated on her, her kits drowned, was rejected by Riverclan and Appledusk when she asked for refuge, and she feels as if Starclan refused to help her. In the end she felt lost and betrayed. She refused to accept what she went through even if she knows she'll have a better chance at life if she tries.

Princess lived a good life. She wouldn't have arrived in purgatory if she knew what had happened to Firestar. Princess never knew whether Firestar was alive or not after the destruction of the forest. All she wants is a sense of closure. To know if he is ok.

Stonefur was angry with what happened during the final moments of his life. He was angry with how he and the other half clan cats wer turned on by Leopardstar and the rest of Riverclan. He's particularly angry at Leopardstar for allowing Tigerstar to take over Riverclan and do what he did. Before Leopardstar arrived in purgatory, he though he may have moved on but seeing her again brought back all those memories of her betrayal and he was unable to let go.

Speaking of Leopardstar, she's here because the guilt of what she allowed to happen haunted her for her whole life. She hated herself for betraying her clanmates because she couldn't stand up to Tigerstar. Seeing Stonefur again made it worse. The two haven't talked since she arrived.

Scourge is in purgatory because he was dissatisfied with how his life turned out. He was unhappy for basically all of his life. He was bullied by his siblings, mistreated by Tigerpaw, spent most if his time murdering cats and being angry at Tigerstar, and killed when he thought he had won. Sad life :(

The 8 cats become friends and try to help each other become a better version of themselves and pass on.

Anyways, here's some extra info :D

•Princess, Squirrelflight, and Mapleshade are pretty close with each other. So are Snowtuft and Hawkfrost (kinda weird considering the canon story)

•Snowtuft can read. I know, it's weird. Snowtuft decided to go to explore twolegplace in the afterlife and he found a library. He started to learn how to read and boy is he a fast learner. He likes to read mostly philosophy, history, and fantasy novels. Tried to get into politics once but he got a headache in the first 10 minutes of reading. He talks to Hawkfrost about the books often but Hawky has no idea what he's talking about. He listens anyways. This has no real value to the plot I just thought it was funny.

•Hawkfrost has frequent nightmares of Tigerstar.

•After finding out what they had done, Princess hated Scourge and Hawkfrost. She warmed up to them again after their character arcs tho.

Hot take but it makes sense that Firestar chose Graystripe as his deputy. Although it's true that he didn't actually mentor Brackenpaw (that rule sort of gets thrown out the window anyway with Fireheart and later Brambleclaw), he shaped up to be a very different person (cat?) from his early days. He was a shitty friend and made some really dumb decisions with really big consequences, but that made his character a lot more interesting. I think he can be annoying in the early books, but it pays off when he becomes more mature and level-headed later on. It's pretty clear that he underwent some personal growth and changes when Silverstream died and he lived in Riverclan. I just wish we could have seen that development.

hard disagree lmao my man literally betrayed Riverclan by coming back and like. dude you went over there for a fresh start and then end up STILL balling it up and getting your ass thrown out. Greystripe never took anything seriously in the entirety of all six books and did nothing to deserve deputyship

Okay, so, during that time I discovered the Tiger x Fire ship. Yes, I found it strange, until I realized what I could do with it.

So, the cat in the scar pic, if you didn't read the description, is Tigerclaw:

Tiger and Fire got together for a while, and their relationship was not healthy. I took inspiration from how Tigerstar treated Sasha and that it didn't read to me that he'd been mates with Goldenflower so much as mated with her.

Tigerclaw doesn't treat Fireheart how Fire would like. He's condescending and often dismisses him as childish. He's also manipulative af, (Fireheart is also manipulative af, but at least he doesn't direct towards Tigerclaw...usually.)

So, Tigerclaw lets Fire in on his plan to kill and replace Bluestar, then he could rule Thunderclan (and later, all the clans). Fireheart is 100% in on this idea. But, as time goes on, he grows tired of being put down and having his own ideas dismissed. Starclan introduces themselves to the picture and tell him that he'd make a much better leader, and it's their will, they give hints to Bluestar about Fire's leadership capabilities and all that jazz. Fireheart thinks he still loves Tigerclaw, but he's slowly growing resentful of him.

Then he gets his chance. The rogue attack happens, Fireheart doesn't play his part and saves Bluestar's life. Tigerclaw barely makes it out of camp before he can be executed on the spot. Fireheart is made deputy. And though he's had his tastes of power in the past, this is a refreshing drink of it. He loves it, he wants more. But Starclan tells him he still needs Tigerclaw. He still has some feelings for him, and he feels rather bad about betraying him.

Anyway, He stumbles onto Tigerclaw one day and Tiger is PISSED. Before Tiger can tear his throat out Fireheart frantically assures him that his seeming betrayal was for the best. He spins a slight lie that he wasn't able to keep the clan cats away from the den and if they'd seen him helping Tigerclaw, they both would be thrown out, but now Fire can act as his inside cat.

Tigerclaw seems appeased. He starts to leave, then turns to tell Fireheart one last thing. Next thing Fire knows, he's been knocked down, and he can't see out of one of his eyes. Tigerclaw wipes his bloody claws in the grass and warns him not to betray him like that ever and to leave the planning to him. Fireheart gives him a shaky smile and promises.

Whatever affection Fireheart still held for him is lost that day.

Long story short, Tigerstar lives to regret ever letting Firestar worm his way back into his good graces, and especially for letting him in on the idea to join with Riverclan and Bloodclan.

with brokenstar dead, tigerclaw doesnt hav the opertunity or evn idea to use the roguez to kill bluestar [pluz with the thorn in his side tht is beetlebite he haz an evn stronger hatred of non clan catz] hez able to kill her another way [current main idea: crushed by a rock at sunningrockz much like her ex] and ascendz to leadership.... only whn he goez 2 get his 9 livez... starclan Refusez him.. hez not the true deputy

he is LIVID but with no other optionz he Liez

back in the clan he deeply loathez yellowfang but is unable to get rid of her due to the fact shez the only medicine cat [cinderpaw continuez 2 train as a warrior, pushed by beetlebite who at this point haz learned a great deal about deadfoot thru mudclawz conplaining]

as for fireheart he knoz the cat had proved himself too much to simply push him out with no reason... but with all the rumorz tht beetlebite running away [thy nevr find his body. tigerclaw pushez it out of his mind. pretendz he isnt deeply desterbed by it] bcuz non-clan catz Just Arnt Suited To Clan Life.... well itz easy for tigerclaw to capitalize on this, feed more into it.... turn the catz against fireheart, and ravensong in addition for Betraying the clan- after all! isnt it agasint the code to date non-thunderclan catz? itz no wonder thy were friendz with greystripe, an infamous traitor

he pushez, hard, for any of the apprenticez to become a med cat apprentice so he can dispose of the shadowclan trash as soon as he can

meanwhile itz near impossible for tigerclaw or any thunderclan cat aside from yellowfang to get to moonstone bcuz simply put. Mudclaw Is Fucking Pissed- hearing the rumorz whn he KNOZ how much beetlebite lovz his clan & how much hez done for the ungrateful rabbit brainz........ and, well, it feelz better to be angry thn it doez to be horribly worried.....

fireheart of couse, is kinda having a bit of a breakdown, his older brother figure dissapeared without a word, on top of tht his nephew haz been taken by twolegz to god knoz where, his mentor & mother figure is DEAD, and the guy hez been warning her about for AGEZ is the LEADER......... so. it doesnt feel Great...

eventually it getz to the point where, tho he knoz he haz som support in the clan, he feelz in danger- and more importantly to him he feelz ravensong is...... so. thy leave, thy dont rly kno where else to go besidez the house of princess & violet- who cant let thm into the house but CAN lead thm to violetz brother who thy can stay with

barley, who mainly huntz in the gardenz of princess, violet, & their friendz, is happy to have company! he livez in a forclosed building with a few other catz, inculding hoot & jumper who come & go pretty frequently... fireheart & ravensong stay in contact with whtz going on in thunderclan

thingz in thunderclan stay weirdly consistent for a while- tigerstar blamez the fact tht becoming leader didnt fill the hole in his heart like it waz supposed 2 on him not being able to gain the 9 livez- but hez left without somthing to plan on, on the occasionz hez able to actually speak with thm starclan refuse to tell him why he cannot receive thm........ tigerstar still keepz movong with his planz, in talkz with bith the hunger weakened riverclan & sickness weakened shadowclan.......

hoot and jumper, on an occasion whn thy r home, r overheard talking about the weird cat met by bone [who thy hang around bcuz hez cool n big n tough] whn he waz captured by a spay and release program..... a little black cat with a white paw calling himself a weird name, like, who the hell namez their kid beeltebite? itz almost as weird as the namez fireheart and ravensong lol.... said catz being so !!! thy dont evn register the insult n r EMMDIATELY like WHERE WAZ THIS

Evil Sasha au???

I kinda have a few ideas for an evil Sasha au so I would like to share it with people who would like it possibly so if your interested in it keep reading.

My inspiration is the mr.wolf map of Tigerstar and Sasha by roseshards (please please please go watch it it’s beautiful and I love it with every bone in my body)

So in this au Sasha is scourges neighbor,cousin, and closest confidant and his info provider. She used to be friendly with ruby but of course when she told tiny that unwanted kittens get thrown in the river she turned her back on ruby. She chased after tiny and caught up with him, he had the tooth in his collar but he hadn’t made up the story of the dog yet so she helped him sell the story. She became a huge part in his rise as scourge and even suggested the name to him, she helped him sell story’s of killing or maybe taming dogs to their cause, and using her beauty and powers of seduction she got all kinds of info and gave every last shred to scourge who in turn confided in her and relied on her. She is one of three cats in his inner circle the other two are bone and brick obviously, who are Sasha older and very buff brothers who protect the two clever masterminds with everything they can, which in turn lets them be close to Sasha (who was happy to see her brothers again) and scourge (who is usually emotionally distant with everyone but his inner circle). Sasha is also a heartbreaker mostly focusing on shecats because their so much sweeter but she can be interested in toms. When she sees socks and ruby again she has a slight pang of pity for them so she convinces scourge to at the very least give them food. She and ruby somewhat fix their frayed friendship but only so they don’t hate eachother (which is actually one sided and only Sasha hates ruby and ruby just pretended to hate her to put her sorrow aside but still) and then part ways. She does fall for Tigerstar and I’m talking deeply and scourge,bone and brick beg her to be careful with him so she doesn’t end up hurt which she promises them she’ll be careful. She is teasing and playful towards the flustered tiger and leopardstar’s who both fall head over heels for her, and she practically has the whole clan wrapped around her claw with her charm, she ends up pregnant with Tigerstars kits and decides to leave and tells Tigerstar that there desires will lead to his doom and leaves him, both are heartbroken but oddly understanding. She goes back to scourge and tells him everything, he comforts her and expresses excitement to basically becoming and uncle. He, bone and brick refuse to allow her to fight and tell her to keep safe, they also make sure she gets top notch care. She has her kits a week or two before the battle and names her kits hawk,moth, and tadpool, scourge bone and brick visit her regularly with gifts and to check up on her. She bids all three of them a bittersweet goodbye full of emotion and begs them to be careful, her three kits hiding under her begging their uncles to come back soon. She gets the news of the threes and tigerstars death from a cat named Leah who out of grief and anger Sasha kills. She decides to bring her kits to RiverClan out of trust of leopardstar and Sasha blaming bloodclan for the deaths of those closest to her but tadpole dies along the way, she brings her kits to RiverClan wishing them good luck and disappearing. She goes back and starts killing anyone who betrays someone’s else trust because she doesn’t want others to suffer from that too. She soon realizes a cat named Firestar is looking to kill her so she goes back home and confesses everything to her mom, Ava, before leaving and saying goodbye to her aunt quince. She dies battling a loner named barley and another named ravenpaw. After she dies she reunites with scourge,brick, and bone in cat hell and the four bring havoc upon alley cats.

Bonus:

The inner circle all adore kits and regularly pamper moms and kits because they love them so much so they get special treatment.

Ava is a made up character who is quinces sister, neighbor and best friend. She is sweet to tiny and strict towards socks and ruby. She is Sasha’s mother and also had bone and brick which was her first litter, they were around for three moons after Sasha’s birth before disappearing.

Sasha and tigerstars love is his doom because their son hawkfrost recruits ivypool who betrays them and well ya know.

Sasha, while wrapping everyone around her claw, is not a wishy washy princess but a charming and cunning cat who saw advantages in having the most loyal cats as possible and used her charm to assist in that.

Au where rusty joins windclan instead of thunderclan

i would totally do art for this because i it sounds cool but how different would he really look lmao

and i cant be bothered to draw firestar

the first thing i thought of was firepaw becoming leader of windclan at some point. maybe seeing jakes son so often reminded tallstar of his old mate so much that eventually he gave eight lives to fireheart and lived the rest of his natural life with jake? dunno.

maybe tallstar goes to jake at some point and goes “my clan got kicked out My Guy but i cant leave now i need help” so jake goes “okay ill tell my son to get off his ass” and firepaw is sent there? he lives there and then greypaw is sent there by bluestar and by then they can get their territory back and stuff 

what i thought was more interesting was what would happen to thunderclan if firepaw never joined?

spottedleaf never sees an omen (the windclan med cat does though) and bluestar continues to stress about her small clan

ravenpaw is sent to the barn by just graypaw

eventually tigerclaw betrays her like usual but wuh oh nobody saves her

tigerclaw gets to be leader of thunderclan and fireheart by this point is like “hang on no fuck that”

he knows something is up but he never learned about what Actually happened to oakheart (he heard tigerclaw lying about it at a gathering and went “that sounds sketchy) so he goes to riverclan to ask about the body

yeah, tigerclaw murdered redtails ass. “probably bluestar too” fireheart thinks.

“yo med cat let me talk to bluestar”

“okay i guess”

he talks to redtail and bluestar who both tell him shits fucked with thunderclan (also yellowfang sacrifices herself saving bramblekit when that Shit happens)

so he tells all at the gathering and tigerstar accuses him of lying, but the med cat backs him up

this starts a fight, and tigerstar is thrown off highrock in the scuffle

he is injured to the point where he cant be leader anymore because its too hard for him to move around

he wants darkstripe to be leader but the clan outvotes him and starclan lets them choose whitestorm(?) as leader

tigerstar spends his days in the med cat den. cinderpelt got hurt because of him and is a med cat now so she slows his recovery on purpose.at some point yellowfang visits her, tells her about what she did to brokenstar, and cinderpelt goes ‘lmao sounds like a plan’ and does it to tigerstar

so fireheart becomes leader at some point because of all hes done for windclan

thats all i can think of sorry im not super familiar with the first series
