#hb or pb depends entirely on the book and the author and the publisher #i don't usually annotate but sometimes i can't help myself if i see a lovely quote or if i'm researching #i do occasionally dog-ear the corners if i don't have a bookmark handy or if there's something i want to come back to later #i love having a pretty complete set of books but more often than not i wind up with mismatching covers #i think covers are so important for drawing people in so they pick up a book in the first place but ultimately i don't care as long as the #i only read reviews for books i'm struggling to get through and i'm wondering if it's worth continuing or sequels if something happened in #i never used to be easily distracted when reading but my attention span has actually got worse over the years i blame life #i'll skip ahead if things are a little slow or if i'm not keen on a particular development and i want to see if it comes to fruition #i'm the weirdo who can't guess the simple things that everyone else just gets but sometimes sees something coming completely out of left fi #tags
