I originally assumed all the hybrids besides Denji died in part 1 but then when I looked online I saw tons of fans saying they're still alive since they were in the last fight whilst being controlled by Makima but they're also technically immortal so they shouldn't be fully dead. This is something I'd never considered but after seeing so many people believe this I've started believing it myself so hope these people aren't being overly optimistic and haven't pointlessly gotten my hopes up just to have them crushed if it turns out that they are just fully dead and not coming back. Because I'd love to see Reze and Quanxi in part 2 and now I'm gonna be hella disappointed if they aren't even though until just recently I assumed they were completely dead. Seeing Denji and Reze going to school together in part 2 like they talked about would be perfect since neither of them ever got the opportunity to go before. Fujimoto please I need this! 😩

hiya anonie, hm i usually think about this too but then i don’t because then i’ll just give myself a headache and then be like omg but there’s always that possibility of them coming back because i remember power mentioning once a devil dies they’re reborn in hell. which could possibly bring them back but they won’t exactly be them. like this lives on angel devils wiki rent free and keeps me up at night.

i’d definitely wanna see quanxi, reze, angel devil, and the gang again like lemme see nayuta too with denji and kobeni and her car whjdhs and let’s not forget hayakawa family flashbacks. please i need — i actually really want makima’s backstory. she’s an interesting character, well written villain. yeah she went wild but she looked good doing it. i said what i said.

my thoughts for part 2 is with what power said— ‘if we meet again, it’ll probably be as enemies.’

the angst. the tragedy. the two best friends meeting once again but this time as enemies and i only see it being painful. chainsaw man’s whole storyline keeps me up at night and i gladly let it. fujimoto did that.
