HAWKS BRAINROT THOUGHTS

Ok ok so I know it’s New Years but I don’t care. I have to get this out on some sort of media because it’s eating away at my mind.

So at first, my initial though was about Hawks in a No-Quirk AU in which he has a motorcycle that he rides.

He likes it fast. He likes the danger. Plus it explains the absolute helmet hair that he has (aka his regular hair being so wild and crazy).

I could imagine the motorcycle not being so much as a Harley, but definitely something in which he can ride close to his body and easy to maneuver. It’d most likely be red, black, and white or black with white and red details.

For his outfit, I could say it’d be similar to his hero costume, but of course some classic leather (or a material that’d protect him in case of a crash). I could imagine his jacket being a nice tan leather with some fluff for warmth with the red wings design on the back. His pants would be black denim jeans and his shoes black leather. Then of course he’d have the gloves and glasses…but now I’m thinking the glasses could be incorporated into the helmet (red helmet with black and white details and the orange-yellow tinted visor).

Gosh and just thinking about hugging him from behind as we ride off from danger is making my stomach do backflips rn SHEEESH

This thought then developed more when I started watching Top Gun. It was on and I was like “Sure why not?”

I was then reminded of @kadeart ‘s Top Gun Hawks fanart from way back when it feels like, and I’m like “HOLY SHIT MAVERICK RIDES A MOTORCYCLE TOO HOLY-“ The pieces were fitting perfectly. He’d be that cocky SoB that just wants to do things by himself and be fast. He just wants to get the job done, but definitely won’t leave others behind.

However, I started thinking about who Goose would be? Who would be his bestie?

Could it be Dabi? But like Touya Todoroki and not Dabi. Or would it be Twice?

But this is where my brain decides “Hm you’re way to happy about this, let’s make you sad.”

If you haven’t watched Top Gun, I would stop here.

Ok so if we were going with the Touya Todoroki approach, instead of the plane just losing altitude and Touya breaking his neck on the glass from ejection, the plane would crash into the ocean, causing him to catch fire due to the fuel in the ocean. Keigo would also get hurt, but Touya would be severely injured and burned. His conditions are severe, and Keigo feels the awful weight of guilt.

“I’m thinking maybe it was my fault.” (Literally that scene is happening as we speak 🥲)

With the Twice route, I’d say it’s pretty similar to the film itself again.

Regardless, Maverick in Top Gun: Maverick is still living with the guilt of his friend’s death, constantly reminded through Goose’s sun who is all grown up now and in the Top Gun program.

With Hawks, I can’t seem to think of who would remind him of that pain.

Maybe Shoto Todoroki taking on the program, but he blames Hawks for his older brother’s condition. (Or maybe Dabi’s revenge being on Hawks in some sort of different plot that I will leave up to the writers of tumblr).

With the Twice route, I just can’t figure it out unfortunately.

But that’s my brainrot for the night.
