#harley merlin and the secret coven
Text
i have discovered that i might just have a thing for long-ass series with main character girls from california who have anxiety and have no idea who they are until a random man influences their entrance into a secret magical society.

A Book To Read
Title: Harley Merlin and the Secret Coven(Harley Merlin #1)
Author: Bella Forrest
Pages:402
Synopsis: Harley Merlin can sense people’s emotions, among other things. It’s how she snagged her first job pinpointing cheaters at a casino. But she has no clue where she got these freakish powers because she spent her childhood jumping from home to home in the foster system, and her father left her with nothing more than a cryptic note. Then she crosses paths with a terrifyingly real monster. Which is when a mysterious and annoyingly arrogant young warlock named Wade Crowley steps in, introducing her to a hidden world of beasts, magicals, and covens riddled with secrets—as well as clues about her murky past. Whether she likes it or not, this new world is where she belongs. But after a disturbing twist of events, Harley quickly realizes that her past is darker than she could ever have imagined. And that someone in the coven is out for her blood. With the help of Wade and her new friends, she must figure out who the traitor is and why they’re targeting her... Before the human and magical worlds dangerously collide.

Harley Merlin and the Secret Coven by Bella Forrest
Anyone read this book? A bunch of the review and such said it was great for fans of Harry Potter, but I gotta be honest in saying I don’t like it. Im not even halfway through yet but yeah I don’t like it. Anyone care to discuss it? I think the plot limits itself immensely because of the controlling nature of literally everyone but the main character. Harry Potter didn’t start out with a bunch of douche assholes so clearly out for their own gain. I’ll finish the book, but I happen to think it’s kinda sucky. I can only even read a few chapters at a time due to pure exasperation. It has some decent dialogue and the main character is kind of interesting, but the author isn’t communicating her well. She says she doesn’t want to join the coven and then proceeds to let the coven walk all over her because apparently she thinks the whole thing is cool and interesting, except it’s not saying why she thinks that. And since the only vibe Im getting from the whole thing is that it’s sketch as all fuck, I can’t figure out wtf she’s doing. It’s like the author wanted to have the main character be stubborn and independent, but then doesn’t follow through. Idk bro but it’s painful to read.

The Harley Merlin Series by Bella Forrest
You're a witch Harley! Praised as being your adult dose of Harry Potter. Find out more about Bella Forrest's Harley Merlin.
Book 1: Harley Merlin and the Secret Coven
Recently, I have been reading Bella Forrest’s Harley Merlin series. So far, I have read the first three books of the nine-part series. Anything involving the supernatural naturally has me hooked so it was only a matter of time before this series fell into my lap. I have not formed an opinion of the series since I have yet to finish it but being three…

Harley Merlin and the Mystery Twins (Resenha)
Contém Spoilers do livro 1 Harley Merlin and the Secret Coven
PERSONAGENS
A série possui diversos personagens.
