"Cloud?" Denzel couldn't help but gulp as he peered into the blonde's office obviously hesitant to go in unlike normal. He wished he could will away the crumpled paper that was behind his back with all his might as he slowly stepped through the doors threshold. "Um… C-can you…uh…sign this?" Squinting his eyes shut, the boy presented the other with his latest test paper with a big, fat, red letter D in the corner. "I gotta retake it but my teacher wanted you guys to see it…"

Cloud glances up from the world map occupying his attention, he's planning out his next route for a particularly long delivery when Denzel's voice distracts him. Blonde eyebrows furrow curiously at the boy's nervous tone. Taking the paper into his hand, Cloud blinks rapidly at the large letter in the corner. Oh. He refrains from making a snide comment ( 'at least a D isn't an F' ) but the fear of Tifa smacking him upside the head, if she found out, is far too strong.

Cloud isn't very good at this.

He clears his throat and searches for the right thing to say. Is there even a right thing to say in situations like this? The longer Cloud acts as a caretaker for two young children, the more he begins to suspect there isn't one. "Did you study?" He questions.
