I have to rant for a minute. I’ve seen a few people slut shaming Malia in their posts about the Teen Wolf movie and the hate her character gets is extremely annoying to me.
Don’t get me wrong, I also didn’t like her relationship with Stiles, but I have nothing against her as a character. Honestly, I like Malia.
Honestly, the most realistic part of Teen Wolf is people dating within their friend group in high school (and into young adulthood). Her dating Stiles, them breaking up and staying in the same friend group and then her dating Scott? That’s pretty normal! Especially if Stiles left or was forgotten…
If the rumours about her being with Parrish in the movie are true, that’s also pretty realistic. Most people don’t marry their high school sweetheart. Usually, those relationships fade over time and distance. If one person leaves your hometown and the other stays, you’re probably going to break up (like Scott and Malia did!). Malia staying in Beacon Hills and getting together with someone who lives in town who is aware of your weird shit? NORMAL!
Full disclosure, I stopped watching after season 4, but what I’ve seen and read about it, nothing that Malia did deserves the slut shaming. Think for a minute about why you may not like Malia, because if the root of that comes down to you not liking her relationship with Stiles or how they first hooked up, then you probably don’t actually dislike Malia, you’re probably more upset about her relationship with Stiles.
Like or dislike whatever characters you want, but don’t slut shame a character for behaving like a normal human with her relationships and who she has sex with.
End rant

what i just rant about my Avatar the Last Airbender OC
Micha was born in a fire nation colony full of farmers who were outspoken against the war and because you cant just outright banish like 30 people for disagreeing, they were sent to a colony that was promptly abandoned by the soldiers. She was 9 when the village was wiped out but Earth Kingdom mercenaries dressed as soldiers on the day of her village's harvest festival, and the day after her little brother was born. She buried every member of the village then marched all the way to Ba Sing Se over the course of a year, arriving during the later part of Iroh's Siege of the Earth Kingdom Capital. Lu Ten picked her up from the battlefield and he and Iroh decided they'd let her stay until they returned to the Fire Nation. Her year trek to the capital had instilled a knack for fighting so she did her best to help during the battles until Lu Ten died. Iroh sent her back to the Fire Nation with his letters breaking the bad news with a note for Queen Ursa that he wanted to put the girl to work as a bodyguard/companion for Zuko, knowing his nephew didn't have any friends to confide in.
Zuko of course wasn't too happy about being assigned someone only a year older than him as a bodyguard, but it didn't take long for the two of them to become good friends, sneaking out to explore the city or to a tree that sat on a hill overlooking the Fire Nation Capital. They spent many evenings at that tree, especially after Ursa vanished. Ozai, who had initially been against having some colony farmer girl in the palace at all, made a deal with Micah that if she kept Zuko out of his sight, she could continue to be his bodyguard. So she kept Zuko busy; they practiced fire bending together, spent most of their free time together slipping out of the palace to explore the capital or around the palace kitchen to sneak treats.
When Zuko was banished, a handful of Ozai's Generals approached Micah with offers of sponsoring her into military school, with promises of high rankings when she graduated, praising her loyalty. What they didn't know was her loyalty wasn't to the nation but to Zuko, so she turned the offers down and followed Zuko and Iroh into their hunt for the Avatar.
When they were in Ba Sing Se years later, during the "Episode of" time period, Micah would admit to Zuko that she had feelings for him and probably had for awhile, thought she wasn't too sure of herself. The only reason she hadn't said before was because she was aware of his feelings for Mai but with how it seemed their lives were changing to something peaceful, she wanted to be truthful with him, with the addition that she just wanted to be honest with him, with no intention of it changing things between them if he didn't feel the same.
There was hardly time to dwell as Azula would show up to Siege the city only days later, but the feelings would linger even as Micah expressed disappointment in Zuko for aiding his sister with defeating the Avatar and followed Iroh into prison for betraying the orders of the royal family. She'd escape with Iroh but turn back for Zuko and go with him to join Team Avatar.
She'd leave the Fire Nation on the day of Zuko's coronation, leaving only a letter for Zuko that she had a promise to fulfill and would return after her own journey of self discovery.
She'd return to her old colony to rebuild it into a place free from the scars of the war, only to discover refugees of the war had already settled in, rebuilding the old houses and even caring for the makeshift graveyard in the hopes a survivor of what had happened would return to help them put names to each grave. Micah would be grateful to the people of the village for the care they put into rebuilding, nostalgia for a home she thought she'd never see again as she settled into helping with the village. She'd keep her fire bending a secret for a time before coming clean to explain the history of the village to the new residents, from how it was founded as a colony of forgotten farmers to how they were silenced by mercenaries who discovered the hidden fire nation memorabilia they kept on the chance Fire Nation soldiers would ever return and the lone person who lived long enough to ask her to not hate the whole nation for the actions of so few.
Some would be wary, others would remain open but she would continue to help the village until the literal ghosts of her family pestered her into moving on. The world had changed and they wanted her to see it.

okay wait this isnt a drabble or anything but OMGMFM i need jisung so bad actually like i know sex with that man is the most nasty desperate sex ever i need him so horrendously bad.
his hands would be all over you, your tits, your hair, your hips, your wrists, his grip would be bruising, focusing on nothing but the feeling of your tight, warm cunt sinking on to his throbbing cock, he would let out the most delicious moan, his eyes rolling to the back of his head, his teeth sinking into his bottom lip.
he would get so pussy drunk :[ clinging to you so tightly as his hips snap into yours, every inch of his body aching with need, his fingers digging into the soft skin of your hips as you bounce on him.
as soon as your hips started to falter in the slightest, he would push you on to your back, pinning your wrists to the bedsheets beneath you and going absolutely feral, his length driving in and out of you with such intensity that you would be rendered speechless, your mouth parting with a silent scream as your nails dig into his biceps.
"fuck fuck fuck, so fucking wet 'nd tight- tight around me, fuck, god i'm gonna fucking cum, gonna fill you up so good baby, fuck."
he would babble mindlessly as he continued to piston in and out of you, so lost in pleasure that he didn't even notice you came already, five minutes ago.
i know hanji would be sososo obsessed with marking you, your skin would be littered in hickeys and bruises, his grip always harsh and unforgiving during sex. he would love seeing you in his hoodies and tshirts, the thought of you wearing something of his because you wanted to smell like him? immediate boner.
and i know he LOVES to eat pussy, this man worships your pussy like it was jesus itself, he could spend hours with his nose pressed against your clit, his hands wrapped around your thighs as his tongue swirled and sucked at your entrance, he knew how to make you cum in less than five minutes.
basically what i'm trying to say is han jisung is hot as FUCK and i would sell my soul just for a minute with this man. this is what watching jisung edits on tiktok does to a woman.

The moment I knew I was doomed to be "down bad" for this man was the moment I first saw the promo art.
Tumblr media
It wasn't this one, I think it's the one that is used as his icons in the tower. It was like seeing a photo of old crush because he WAS an old crush.
Tumblr media
I started falling riiiight about here - he moves like my old crush, sounds like my old crush, and it was less like seeing a photo of an old crush and more like SEEING your old crush again.
Tumblr media
But the moment I was "down", the exact instant when I got "Down Bad" was right here.
Tumblr media
I'm as down as that dinner table.

Out of yoohankim trio, I find Joonghyuk the most difficult to draw.
Sooyoung is a pretty girl, so it's easy, Kim Dokja is "just a guy" with beautiful eyes and then here is ✨️ Yoo Fucking Joonghyuk ✨️ Mister Handsome, Goddamn Unit of measurement for beauty in orv universe.
Big time of the drawing process is just looking at art and thinking, "Is he handsome enough? Could he slap original yjh cheecks? Are his eyes beautiful jewels containing all the misfortunes found in this world? " and then understanding that "No, I failed. He's not as handsome as he should be. I need to redo this"

I have no real desire to get involved in ship wars (And really, this isn't about shipping), nor do I want to argue over what I would/wouldn't like to be canon. I stick to enjoying what I enjoy with fellow freaks on the internet and leave everyone else to it...
But I must admit, it's slightly disappointing to read some of the takes disguised as feminist when in reality, they are arguably quite harmful and seemingly rooted in misogyny which are being shared around.
Women being in love does not "cheapen" their stories.
Women can be powerful characters and still be in love.
A woman being in love does not make her weak or any less powerful.
Women can be fully-fledged, powerful and 'badass' characters and still be in love.
If you think a 'powerful' woman having a romantic relationship makes her weak, it kind of seems like because falling in love and romance are seen as feminine, you actually just think a woman's femininity makes her weak...
I really wish there could be an acceptance that women can be both strong, powerful, intelligent and in love. Women do not have to choose, in life or in fiction. And there is rarely the same attitude when it comes to male characters. I never see anyone say that being in love would make a strong, independent man weak.
Anyway, I personally think that female characters who have been through horrible things deserve a happy ending and it does not weaken them to allow them to have a romantic partner. Being strong is exhausting and having someone there when they need a break after a busy day of being a girlboss is totally understandable, healthy and acceptable.
In conclusion, let powerful women fall in love!!!

I wish there was a way to filter out "this fic technically doesn’t bash male characters former female love interest, but I’ve decided to make the man they dated resent the entire relationship and find them repulsive because it fits my narrative even if it in no way matches canon events" on Ao3.

the season six finale has officially become the lowest rated episode of 911 ever. here's my thoughts as to why season six as a whole is bad. this is long. it is needed.
objectively, the show has become repetitive.
kirsten reidel has no creativity when it comes to the storylines of buck and eddie. i am going to be focusing a lot on buck and eddie during this talk due to the fact that they have been the most neglected characters when it comes to relationships, and because there has been some serious, queerbaiting throughout the season alongside the worst of the show's writing.
this is our third love interest that buck has had that was representing one singular aspect of himself that becomes suddenly prominent due to the plot at the time. ali made buck realize that he needed someone who was going to appreciate his line of work and that it was a non-negotiable part of himself. abby served as a tool for buck to realize he could be in a serious relationship involving something more than sex. and now with natalia, she just represents this part of his life where he gets himself into near death situations and how to deal with them. these are all important aspects to buck’s personality and life; however, they don’t represent him as a whole.
buck deserves someone who knows him for all parts of who he is, and this show refuses to do that, because if we go from a logical standpoint, if eddie was a woman, and they still had the kind of relationship that they have now, they would be together. their personalities match, they are fucking coparent, and their lives are parallel to one another. 75% of their storylines outside of the emergencies at work are intertwined and coexist with one another.
the only other people with such interconnected storylines are the other couples and the families.
yes, hypothetically if they introduced a character who is basically like a woman version of eddie, and genuinely had this chemistry with buck then i wouldn't be mad. yet they actively choose people who do not have chemistry with him. especially with natalia having chosen a woman who failed a chemistry read with him (oliver) for a fucking romance movie. how are we, as an audience, supposed to ignore their lack of chemistry?
and i will say there was also something that happened in an interview with oliver that made me mad. as we have seen throughout the show, chris has become one of, if not the most, important person to buck outside of his sister. he fathers chris like he wished his father did to him. and oliver has even discussed this in interviews before, stating that buck is coparenting with eddie. but in his most recent interview, he made it seem like the idea of parenting is completely new to buck.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i don’t wanna put the blame on oliver, but the way that he is speaking so differently within such a short amount of time about these relationships, indicates that there was a change at some point. because during the second interview, it was very obvious that they were treating Buck like a second parent to christopher. they said that he was giving him the parental love that he never had. and now they are acting like buck has never experienced what it’s like to be a parental figure, which we have seen (and been told in the past) is the furthest thing from the truth.
before i get into eddie’s relationships, i do want to point out a couple things that also did make me mad this season that are smaller, but still important.
there was a scene between hen, karen and hen's mom when denny was trying to have a relationship with his father. hen's motherly "said that a boy needs his father". this is homophobia. it’s not even subtle. saying to two fantastic mothers of a child that that a child needs a father figure to grow up correctly. this show prides itself on having diversity, although a negligent amount. having a black lesbian family can go so far and be great representation. but now they are just throwing all of their work away by having this character say the most homophobic shit.
in general, the show is very good at not including repercussions of actions or situations. we have not gotten discussion about athena‘s father since the episode about him. they completely abandoned hen's medical storyline, giving an unjust ending that felt incomplete. and bobby’s storyline about that sponsor of his was just dropped like nothing. yes this happens a lot in procedural dramas. however, that doesn’t mean it should happen. this show is nothing without these characters, they make the show. yet, they set up all these gigantic plot lines only to not follow through or provide any insight about how it’s impacting the character going forward, leaving so many things feeling incomplete. and this leads me to eddie.
last time that we saw eddie date, christopher literally ran away from home to bucks because he was upset. and now, with zero resolution about christopher‘s feelings, with little to no talks about it, eddie has allowed chris to have information regarding a woman that he might possibly date before even dating her. this makes no sense for who eddie is as a person. his number one priority is his son, and he has made that clear several times that his son comes before dating. why suddenly is he spreading this information to christopher like it’s nothing? yes, chris has grown up a lot since then, but it was still an unresolved plot line that heavily impacted two of our main characters, but it was dropped like nothing.
i want to talk about the couch theory. oliver had hinted that the couch theory was very important and was going to come to a head at the season finale. i find it extremely difficult to believe that the couch theory that has been set up since the beginning of this season was created to be finalized with a character that we have seen for less than 10 minutes of screen time and has been in less than three episodes. you cannot begin to tell me that all of this work towards this metaphor that has been beautifully written is now just finished with a random character, that we know little to nothing about except her job. hypothetically, if we go with the idea that this was what it was meant to be from the beginning, they did a terrible job doing it. that is really undeniable. but if the originally story involved buddie due to the heavy involvement of eddie and chris in this metaphor, why change it? there have been undeniable parallels throughout the season and an almost frame by frame shot of buck and christopher doing the exact same thing on eddie’s couch, only for the answer to buck's "couch problem" to be natalia? i dont buy it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
as for this season six finale, it was a fucking disaster. for a drama about fire fighters, for all they have been through, a bridge collapse is nothing. there was no moment where i thought one of our main characters were dead. there was no intensity and very little emotion about the scene, except from maddie.
it was only made worse by the jumpcut at the end where all the characters are just fine. eddie had several broken ribs? nope, he's all healed, let him cheer and jump in the air. chim had a rod through his abdomen (that he proceeded to pull out because despite him being a paramedic, he definitely wouldn't know proper procedure)? he's perfectly fine, no mention of any repercussions of that injury. and cap had no injuries after being crushed by a literal bridge? of course, makes perfect sense!
when comparing this season finale to other plot lines like the tsunami, the earthquakes, the texas fires, the lightning strike, the firetruck on bugs leg, and countless others, this felt so subtle. and it was only exasperated by the last 20 minutes of the episode feeling incredibly out of place, like someone wrote it without seeing the first half of the script.
-
in general, i think that if 911 continues to have the same show runners and writers from this point forward, it is going to be a repetitive nightmare of a mess of a procedural drama. it is no longer good, there is no creativity in the show anymore, they have created these backstories for all of their characters and refuse to follow through with them.
i have loved this show and the community of 911 since season two when I started watching it, and it is undeniable that there have been some masterpieces of storytelling in the show. nothing will ever beat the tsunami, or any of the "_____ begins" episodes. that is where they peak. they peak when they focus on their main characters and showing their history and how human they are. and yet with every new episode, they undo the work.
i don’t like to throw queerbaiting around for a plethora of reasons, but season six has changed my mind on that. if they truly created the couch theory just to have it end up with natalia, then why include buck being on eddie’s couch then parallels it to their son? why would you cast someone who failed a chemistry test with your main character to be that character's love interest? i legitimately want a reason. because at this point it is just homophobia. they don’t want to do the storyline because it would mean that two more of their characters are queer. and it seems like they want the minimum diversity possible. they already have one gay couple, so why have another? they already hit the gay diversity mark.
there’s a reason that this episode is the lowest rated episode of 911 of all time. If ABC does not listen to 911 fans, season eight will be the last season of the show.

I've spent so much time and money on MK and it's getting less and less rewarding 😭 I don't usually complain about games but this invasion season was underwhelming, the skins are ugly and the shrine is not giving me anything good 😭😭 Sure I got Bi-Hans announcer voice but I haven't been really playing the game lately because there's nothing to do. Plus I'm SOO afraid of online matches, the energy there just ain't it for me 😞
Not only that but feeling uncertain about Bi-Han's future, because he seems to be the company's punching bag. And the decisions made (apparently) on the leaks of the DLC really concern me. Ik he is not the only character that matters but he is given so much disrespect when he has so much potential as a character. At this point I would even rather not have this new era. Even if it means my other favorite characters going to oblivion
I just hope we get some evil Raiden or something to stir shit up because nothing is looking interesting for me on the game rn
Probably going back to mk11

Would love to sit a MK story writer down and ask what exactly makes Bi Han different then the Lin Kuei.
(And I don’t mean just in this new timeline)
I want to know why it feels like he’s always the one singled out as being “evil”. Not even Sektor gets bashed on this much and he forcefully converted his own men into robots (and maybe killed his dad but I don’t know if that was ever confirmed.)
Kuai Liang and Tomas had the same job as Bi Han but their treated like heroes. The only real lore difference is Kuai Liang actually got a chance to change his ways. Bi Han was damned to hell by a man who wanted to punish him for saving the realms.
Bi Han saved everyone, got 0 credit for it, and was killed before he ever got the chance to redeem himself.
He’s done more to save the realms then 99% of the caste.
I just don’t understand why NRS treats him like some kind of villain!!!! WHY?????
