CRESS Claims

For all of those who know me and who have been engaging with my stories, content, and character, this post is for you!

I've recently separated myself from someone who was a friend of mine and during this friendship this person and I had created the concept of House Cress back in October 2011 before Guild Wars 2 was released. The concept of House Cress is actually older than my son as I was pregnant with him at the time that myself and this other person had fleshed out all the details of what House Cress was to be and that our characters would be -- as they were in other games aside from FF14 -- twins.

For those of you who know me from WoW, I went by Hale Cress and I RPed that character on the Alliance side on WrA for several years after Gw2 and following my leave from WoW I eventually brought my character Hale to FF14 who now goes by Vahalia Cress. It was then that this other person had not wanted to play the game or build the world alongside me since they were into WoW and there was zero interest expressed. So, I started modeling and fitting the concepts of lore and the source material to meet FF14 standards and lore.

I have been RPing Vahalia Cress and the concept I have built for four years now and I have gone above and beyond to facilitate RP for myself as well as my FC and people around me who have interactions with Vahalia and House Cress.

Three years into my RP this person/'friend' would suddenly show up, start talking to me more again and then chose to insert herself into the stories and RP I had going at current without communicating with me at length to see if that would be okay. They chose to skip all the MSQ right up to Endwalker despite being suggested not to, and boosted their jobs. They had absolutely no care for getting to learn of the lore and world of the MMO I've meticulously crafted my story around.

Additionally, coming into the story and actively trying to meet her halfway and try to include her I gave her a position as Vahalia's cousin and we collaborated on a few things only for her to later change parts of her character that are vivid parallels of my character Vahalia from changing her eye color, to having her character involved with the exact type of business Vahalia was in and tried to have the character be a family addition in Ishgard as well. Let's also touch on the fact my URL for Vahalia used to be umbral-flare-ffxiv. I later decided to change that because this person decided to use Umbral in their URL as well and that just sat poorly with me. My friends constantly told me that all these changes and choices she was actively making were looking deliberate.

She would disappear for months at a time and come back around to insert herself into FF14 again only to be around for a little bit then disappear again without word.

Despite the disappointment of feeling like attributes and things were taken from my character, I later read a story where this person's character also somehow inherits a voidsent entity (much like Vahalia and Creature for all those who have read my stories) without her knowing little to nothing about the void, Voidsent, Voidkin or the 13th. That was the last thing that occurred for me to get worked up and have enough of constantly feeling like concepts for stories and aesthetics were being siphoned from her. I had even made the mistake of sharing with her a plot concept I was working on with someone else only for her to turn around and try to write the same with a friend of mine.

Well, as long-winded as this is, I promise I have a point. Because this person and I are no longer friends. The two of us had civilly and amicably came together and decided to go on about our lives as acquaintances because I had voiced to her that the friendship was too toxic and unhealthy. I was tired of her attacking my integrity as a person, making broad assumptions against me that weren't true, on top of calling me a bad friend because I didn't always defend her when she wanted me to or if I disagreed with her. I have been lied to and emotionally manipulated and in a constant state of emotional whiplash with this person.

I cared about them, but things weren't healthy. I was tired of the gaslighting and I had sworn to myself in 2023 that I would continue to advocate for myself and speak up when I wasn't okay with something.

Anyway, We go our separate ways. I felt good about it. I thought "Wow this is nice. We both agreed to this and we can exist in the same space without having to be on a personal level with one another." Because despite everything I still really cared for her and wanted nothing but her to succeed in life and have positive blessings.

I had made the choice to remove her from my Facebook because I believed that if we were no longer on a personal level of friends, her being on my FB or having access to it wasn't adhering to what we had ultimately decided. So I removed her.

The next day I noticed Facebook had her Icon on my dash and I thought to myself, "That's not right I thought I removed her?" so I clicked and went to see if I did, indeed remove her like I thought, and I had noticed she had me blocked.

Then according to my friends and mutuals, they had told me she removed and blocked them and then proceeded to add my new friends from Discord that she's never really interacted with, friend invites. Three have come forward to me in DMs and have expressed to me how left-field and odd it was for them to get those friend requests. Red flag? Pretty sure they thought so too.

To me, a block tells me that that person wants ZERO interaction with you and has chosen to take steps in ensuring that they don't want to see you. Period.

So much for being civil and amicible I guess?

Anyways, I took it with grace and simply just removed her from everything quietly and went on about my business and life. Finally being able to sit at my PC this evening and get to blocking her on my socials, I went to her URL to block her account and I came to find she has a very pointed addition to her details and 'about' on her page claiming that she is the sole creator of House Cress and its stories over many universes.

Hence the reason for this post and the long-winded explanation. I thought it was imperative to give context and a timeline of events. Events in which I have several people who can back up my claims. People who have been in my life for 7 years or more and many who have been in my life for 13 years or within my RP circle for a decade or so. They're people who have also interacted with my characters across all platforms dating back to GW2 and have heard this Ex-friend discuss how House Cress was a brainchild of us both only to now some how claim that its not.

This ex-friend is claiming they're the sole creator, but they're not. It's a project we both worked on in the living room of my 1 bedroom apartment in 2011. It was a project we both had a hand in creating on equal avenues. We did a video about our plans and hopes for Gw2 and even spoke about our characters. It's a project that I've always seen as belonging to us both, and even now.

For this person to make this claim is perhaps one of the most bullheaded lies she's even decided to put into the ether.

For someone to claim "The person I was 8 years ago isn't the same person I am today." and then go around and do this just out of spite and malice tells me that no, this person is very much the same person they were 8 years ago.

Nothing has changed.

I was fine walking away from her and letting her do her own thing as she saw fit. I assumed that us coming together on a decision meant that we'd have no ill will toward one another.

And I had honored that.

Until tonight.

House Cress was not concocted by one person alone, despite what my ex-friend might claim or what she might try to twist. I have text snippets of this person professing to people in Discord in my FC server that the Cress stuff was a conjoined effort from us both and she would always stipulate how long she's known me and she and I would ride on nostalgia and often talk about how long we've had the Cress train going through various different universes.

With all that has been said, I don't plan on telling anyone who this person is because I don't wish ill attention on them by any means. I just wanted to stay in my lane without her sabotaging me or for some reason her feeling that she needed to get her kicks in where she could. So please don't spread hate.

The whole point of this message is to say -- I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying right here and I'll continue playing Vahalia CRESS as I have been for 4 years.

I will continue to build on Vahalia CRESS'S story and enjoy it. I will continue the story and stories I've built up for House Cress in the FF14 universe and enjoy it. I will continue to bring people in on the stories and help to support and facilitate RP and ideas. I will continue to collaborate with others.

I helped create this and I have a stake here and I won't let someone try to bully me out of a place I have built, earned and socially been a part of on various scenes for years.

I won't be bullied out of what's mine as I've put a lot of hard work and dedication into this, too much for someone who doesn't even have 10 hours of MSQ under their belt or can properly figure out how WHM works.

This is my space, I'll curate it how I wish and I implore all those who want to want to interact or write with me, to do so.

I'm here.

I'm not going anywhere.

BACKGROUND.

born  the  second  eldest  out  of  four  to  two  loving  but  unfortunately  busy  parents  in  queens  .  rhiannon’s  parents  were  constantly  working  to  make  ends  meet  .  they  didn’t  come  from  money  but  somehow  always  managed  to  make  things  work  .  they  tried  to  shield  their  children  from  their  financial  troubles  .  and  truthfully  ,  her  parents  should’ve  stopped  at  two  kids  .  but  they  wanted  more  so  then  came  the  twins  .  with  their  parents  at  work  all  the  time  ,  ria  and  her  older  brother  had  to  step  up  and  take  care  of  their  youngest  siblings  whether  they  wanted  to  or  not  .  nights  were  spent  preparing  dinner  ,  lunch  for  school  and  helping  their  siblings  with  homework  .  the  eldest  hale  siblings  had  to  grow  up  a  lot  faster  than  the  rest  of  their  peers  .

she  discovers  her  love  for  art  when  she’s  around  ten  .  however  ,  knowing  that  her  parents  couldn’t  possibly  afford  to  pay  for  art  classes  ,  ria  decides  to  teach  herself  .  within  time  ,  she  gets  really  good  at  it  .  they  start  to  use  it  as  an  outlet  .  something  to  let  her  imagine  what  life  would  be  like  outside  the  metaphorical  walls  of  queens  .  it’s  not  that  she  felt  stuck  ,  she  just  knew  it  wouldn’t  do  her  any  good  if  she  spent  her  entire  life  in  queens  .  they  want  more  for  their  life  .

high  school  felt  like  a  challenging  time  for  ria  .  between  helping  their  brother  take  care  of  their  siblings  and  hunkering  down  on  school  ,  it  left  little  time  to  assemble  their  art  portfolio  .  while  met  with  initial  hesitance  from  her  family  ,  she  assembles  her  portfolio  and  starts  applying  to  schools  both  in  and  out  of  the  city  with  excellent  art  programs  .  she  knows  what  she  wants  .  as  soon  as  ria  graduates  from  high  school  ,  she’s  accepted  an  offer  to  attend  parsons  with  a  grant  from  the  school  and  multiple  scholarships  .  still  close  enough  to  home  as  a  compromise  but  at  least  she’s  out  of  queens  .

they  thrive  in  college  .  they  make  connections  ,  lands  internship  spots  as  a  graphic  designer  ,  gets  their  work  out  there  .  eventually  decides  on  becoming  a  brand  designer  .  and  all  that  networking  during  college  pays  off  .  they  go  from  working  for  a  creative  agency  to  freelancing  .  and  then  landing  a  big-time  client  .  one  that  was  looking  towards  rebranding  their  company  .  this  one  project  is  what  gets  her  an  in  with  the  upper  east  side  social  scene  .  not  intentionally  ,  but  an  opportunity  is  an  opportunity  .  and  as  a  result  ,  she  makes  some  new  friends  .  and  even  ends  up  dating  someone  .  it’s  sweet  .  however  ,  ria  doesn’t  ever  think  about  immersing  herself  in  this  life  .  and  despite  having  a  loving  partner  ,  they're  hesitant  and  know  better  than  to  expect  anything  .  

PERSONALITY.

she’s  the  definition  of  an  introverted  extrovert  .  they  can  be  bold  ,  that’s  for  sure  .  lively  .  dominant  .  assertive  .  ria  knows  how  to  work  a  room  to  their  advantage  .  they’ve  got  great  people  skills  .  and  if  it  comes  off  as  social  climbing  ,  then  so  be  it  .  they  didn’t  grow  up  with  the  same  advantages  that  those  in  the  upper  east  side  had  .  aside  from  that  ,  she  prefers  to  keep  to  herself  ,  only  letting  people  in  after  they’ve  gotten  to  know  them  .  and  she’s  hard  on  herself  ,  used  to  carrying  more  than  her  own  weight  .  and  at  times  ,  at  the  expense  of  herself  .  contrary  to  what  others  might  believe  ,  they’re  extremely  loyal  to  friends  and  family  .  it’s  hard  to  break  that  level  of  trust  once  earned  .

BIOGRAPHY

senya's father don was a very bigoted man who seemed to be anti-everything so of course after the cataclysm of 2023, he became very bigoted against changed people. their mother was skeptical but also far more accepting. when aiden's power of pyrokinesis manifested after a heated argument with their dad, their mom was the one who convinced don not to try and kill aiden on the spot. however, don took to berating, antagonizing, or ignoring, aiden and acted similarly toward senya when she stood up for him or took his side.

at some point during a fight between aiden and their dad, senya touched aiden's hand as his fists became engulfed in flames but she didn't get burned. the interaction was enough to stop the fight temporarily as no one was quite sure what to make of it. but of course within days the two were at it again. this time senya got dragged into it, making her angry.

according to aiden, flames appeared in her eyes and then shot from her hands, narrowly missing her father. enraged, her father lunged but her mother intervened. their father shoved their mother out of the way and came at senya full force. aiden stepped in front of her.

no one knows for sure how exactly the twins' mother died from this ordeal. their father claims one if not both of them killed her while the twins are adamant that their mother fatally hit her head when their father shoved her. the end result was that the only thing keeping their father from trying to kill them was gone. fearing for their lives, the twins ran, and they kept running until they found the hub.

FUN FACTS

raina took senya and aiden to get all of their vaccines growing up in secret because don was against them. the twins also got the 2M2X3I in secret for this reason.

took kickboxing and ballet from a young age.

she was a public relations major in college.

she has 13 piercings in each ear because her father once told her if she pierced any other body part he would rip it out. she's sure he would kill her if he saw her tattoos.

in order for senya to gain a power she just has to touch the person who has it. one of the only powers she hasn't been able to add to her collection is pain immunity because her boss ramona won't let her. senya is not quite sure how ramona is able to keep her from obtaining the ability since a person's willingness to pass their power doesn't affect her ability to obtain it.

her first acquired power was pyrokinesis. she didn't realize she had power replication, she thought she'd just developed the same ability her brother had. she didn't find out she had power replication until she reached the hub.

she has found that there are certain powers she can't seem to use in their entirety. for example: when it comes to shapeshifting the most she can do is change her hair ( color and length ). when it comes to healing she cannot heal herself and can only heal a certain severity of wounds on others.

Bio:

The whole mess goes back to when Owain Mulciber brought a fiancée back from a business trip. Nadezhna Ivanova had been a model with a regional-level career, but Bulgaria in the ‘90s wasn’t the easiest place to start a career in a luxury industry. She’d thought that London would be her ticket to everything-- especially with her new husband’s money.

Owain didn’t like the idea of his wife working, though. He didn’t like the idea of a lot of things, controlled his household with an iron fist and a very specific vision of what his family should look like.

It shouldn’t have been as much of a surprise as it was when the Mulciber kids came out looking a lot more like Owain’s best friend than Owain himself. By the time Caius and Avalon were old enough to follow around Amycus and Alecto-- twins run in families, it’s worth mentioning-- it was obvious what had happened.

Divorce would have meant admitting to being cheated on though, or losing permanent residence, or splitting inheritances. Owain and Nadezhna continued on in silent agreement to act as though nothing had happened, though Owain’s desire to control his wife and children’s every move became stronger.

A decade later, Alcaeus Carrow thought it’d be rather funny to tell the kids. 

Avalon’s whole life has been scheduled for her as long as she can remember-- tutors and day schools and lessons and stilted scripted family dinners. There was never much of a choice about attending Hogwarts, her father’s Alma Mater, even though it didn’t make much sense in her situation.

She’d rather have left and gone to a ballet academy, but that wasn’t part of her father’s vision. Instead, she was attending hours of ballet class before and after Hogwarts’ school days. 

It was frustrating, and she was tired, and the whole situation was bound to boil over in some way. Especially when surrounded with people who were essentially intruders intro her world, who didn’t understand the gilded cage she was trapped in. At least, that’s what she said when asked why she pushed Mary MacDonald down the stairs. 

Upon graduation, she became an apprentice at the Royal Ballet and has since become a member of the corps du ballet.

lucy’s parents divorced when she was ten and her father went on to remarry and have kids. lucy has never tried to make contact with them, feeling resentment towards her father for his general absence in her life while he went on to be the world’s best dad with some other family. but her half siblings had other ideas it would seem; they showed up in stardew hollow out of the blue looking to connect with lucy. for the muses themselves, i imagine that they were raised in boston close to where lucy lived until the split and are more accustomed to city life so when they come to town they need some time to acclimate. i'm looking for some good ol' family angst !!

( SUNNY QUINN / CHANCE PERDOMO ) is looking for the mother of their child here in town. they're between the ages of ( 24-27 ), might look a little like ( utp ), and are known for being ( utp ).

i like to leave most free and open to the mun, but basics are that they weren't really together at the time, but one drunken / high night together landed in her finding out she was pregnant and they both made the decision to run away from stardew without telling anyone ( or at least anyone not important to them that would spill it ). that was around 7-8 years ago as well. during the pregnancy they were kind of together, probably tried to actually work out what they were doing, she'd have helped sunny get clean. then when they actually had the kid, for reasons up to the mun, she backed out of being a parent and raising mia, sunny became a single dad and they broke contact completely. so everything past that is completely up to the mun, e.g if she came back to stardew, if she's just coming back now, if she'd deny ever being involved with sunny etc. it's all up to the mun, i'm very open. also very open to plotting it out because i'd want to make sure everything works and lines up right!

( SUNNY QUINN / CHANCE PERDOMO ) is looking for their best friend here in town. they're between the ages of ( 25-26 ), might look a little like ( any male / nb ), and are known for being ( rich, asshole & sarcastic ).

honestly think like rebel & city boy aesthetic. like they look like complete opposites, ran in completely different social circles but they're the most ride or die. very much twin flames / mirror souls. met in sunny's first year of high school, were shitty as hell to each other until that turned into best friends. there's no boundaries or limits between them honestly. no secrets. they know everything about sunny and everything that's happened. they're the god parent to mia. they're also the reason sunny came back to stardew & they're living together in the best friend's house rn. you're basically just looking at two assholes that were a riot together, still are a riot together, are impossible to deal with together, but are also the exact opposite and it makes them work. tbh there was probably always rumours they were / are dating. it's that kinda deal

basically madden was adopted into their family ( rich, big reputation, power hungry ) when she was 10-11ish, the family have lived in stardew their whole lives as well besides madden. madden was adopted to basically be a buffer tbh for the younger sibling. a fake friend kinda deal. she was literally just brought into the family to make the younger sibling look better, their grades were always swapped and anything madden got / wanted, the younger sibling automatically did to. madden always got along with the older sibling tho who was more relaxed and treated her like an actual sister, but the younger one it was always a butting heads r/s. madden moved out a few years ago now and they're all older though so i'm open to anything happening here. also open to plotting anything out and switching things up!

( RAPHAEL WHITLOCK / JOE KEERY ) is looking for their half-sibling here in town. they're between the ages of ( 23-25 ), might look a little like ( utp ; only needs to be white on their father's side ), and are known for being ( utp ; depends on the route we go down ).

the details of raph's early childhood are still a mystery to him, so he has no clue that his father: didn't die when his mother claimed he did, remained in stardew hollow for some time, and started a whole new family. even though his dad is dead now, the half-sibling has definitely heard of raph. the same can't be said on his end, and he doesn't suspect a thing considering their surnames are completely different. this can go one of two ways: their sibling might be too shy/scared to introduce themselves, so they settle for being seen as a friend rather than an actual sibling. or two: raph's inherited the home is mother and father mutually owned and money his mother's side of the family left behind. technically raph doesn't have to share with anyone as their only child together. but his sibling suddenly wants a piece of the pie.

WELCOME TO A 2021 PRISON WORLD.  The year is actually 2032 just everyone gets transported to a prison world created in 2021.  A coven of witches have been working for the HUMANS since then to rid the world of SUPERNATURALS.  Put them in a place where humans can not be harmed.  This world was crafted with internet,  phone,  and electricity as the human world with one catch,  it only works and shows you the information of that world.  No way to contact anyone outside of the prison world.  Food supply isn’t ever so plentiful and will run out.  There is MAGIC in the air and everyone still holds the same abilities as they had in the HUMAN world BUT the big issue is no one knows how to get out of this world because without the coven of witches that cast the spell? There is no way home.

Your character MUST be a supernatural creature.  They still have their abilities though BUT twist that they are unstable.  Witches having a harder time with magic,  vampires have to fight more for control,  and werewolves now have two full moons to suffer through a turn. They are more stabilized this time around.  One at the FIRST of the month and one in the MIDDLE of the month.  

This is a MULTIFANDOM group verse.  So there are a lot of lores that will overlap.  In the application it is going to ask you about what fandom your character is from or the lore you will be following.

This is a MULTIFANDOM group for people that are PLUS EIGHTEEN.

Twins (Unless in the source material / oc’s backstory) are going to be limited.  So first come first serve. So if you wanted to twin with Hope Mikaelson?  You have to ask the mun if that is okay and BOTH of you have to come to me  (naturesloopholed) saying that it is okay and you talked about it.  

The activity limit is two weeks.  By then?  I will message the account with “Hey,  so I’ve noticed you haven’t posted anything in this verse in two weeks.  Are you still wanting the role?” and go from there.

No fighting.  No hateful moments. Don’t bring drama into this group from outside of it! Please! 

Duplicate FCS is fine.  The whole supernatural twist makes it okay and I don’t mind it.  Just no more than THREE DUPLICATED FCS.  So three people can have the FC of Jenny Boyd if they wanted but no one.

Try and interact with as many accounts as you can / are comfortable with.  Be inclusive as can be because this is a group verse.

A/N- Part of this series takes place before the events of sequel trilogy!!

Summary- As a force user you and your twin brother Ben solo were obligated to get trained by none other than your uncle Luke skywalker. Things had been going as expected, you were learning the Jedi way but their was complications something pulling you towards the dark side, your twin brother Ben solo and Snoke. One night an attack happened in the Jedi temple and next thing you knew you were with your brother Ben solo or now known as Kylo ren joining the first order and getting taught by Snoke. As time passed you fell deeper and deeper into the dark side getting blinded and not seeing the evil things you were doing. That is until their was something that opened your eyes and you saw that nothing you were doing was right so you needed to leave. Returing to the light side or joining the resistance wasn’t going to be easy. You’re still battling with the darkness within you. And it’s going to be hard to get used and adapt to your new life. But theirs someone that after a while decided to help you. Will you learn to fit in once again? Will you fight the darkness still fighting within you or will you be consumed by it and lose yourself and return to the evil that blinded you?
