Alright world, I am pleased to introduce the newest members of my household: meet Margot Helen Tenenbaum and Steve "Stevesie" Zissou. You can call them Margot & Steve 💙💚 These sweet lil 4 month old angel thangs came home yesterday and are settling in nicely. This has only been my dream in the making for a decade+ so I'll just be over here weeping at how perfect and sweet they are 😭💖😻 #sphynx #sphynxkitten #sphynxkittens #elfkitten #hairlesscat #catmom #kittens #margottenenbaum #stevezissou (at San Francisco, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdL-0SavcOp/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
The most important thing you can do for your sphynx is to protect their skin. Yes, they do easily sunburn and no, there is NOT a safe FFA approved sunscreen for them.
A few mama’s have already reported sunburn while their baby lounged in front of a window. Amazon has window film that filters the sun’s rays. Prevention is so important.
Sun protection provide the body with a solid UV 50+. Even though this is an impressive protection, their heads and ears are still exposed, so you want to be vigilant about minimizing sun time.
