okokok i’m thinking about this.

eimugi noelclare….. does surprisingly make sense. in my head it’s eichi noel and mugi claire bc (and i’m gonna bend some facts here probably)(also for anyone else reading this, theres gonna be wh spoilers)

eichi/noel: the sad and sickly one who’s actions are what’s driving the whole plot, they are doing it out of love but causing others suffering (although noel’s is less direct, but his refusal to accept claire’s death is why he keeps rewinding and that means the tragedies keep repeating). also there’s a theme of running out of time for both.

tsumugi/claire: well theres the air-headed anime girl energy for one. had trauma and ended up weirdly cheerful. but i do have to admit i still don’t know all that much about the bluebird of happiness..

and trying to map the whole story onto it is a lot harder.

because in wh we have the two camps (humans and demons) with noel standing in the middle. and it would be easy to say the demons are the eccentrics because that’s their role in the war, and a theme with them is being othered, plus theres that bit where rei tells eichi he is also a monster or sth… but like. it’s not like they exist to cause suffering like the demons. in fact, they are the ones being executed.

an interesting thing about wh is how none of the characters feel like they have true autonomy. the demons have to be demons. you could say the humans have more of it bc they do kind of go around killing each other willy nilly but they are 1) all acting in desperation and 2) are being lied to about how the witchs heart really works. and in enstars we have the eccentrics who are put into the roles of the enemy and ex fine who are also being made to do things. idk

its difficult to collect all my thoughts and also please no one crucify me for forgetting wh lore (also havent played in a year) or getting war lore wrong (has not read all of the war era stories)

Ranking Princess Zelda’s Designs

Zelda 1/Adventure of Link

So this was Zelda? Yep, this is early installment weirdness at its finest. 1/10

A Link To The Past/A Link Between Worlds/Smash Ultimate

Okay, now this design would be the base for almost every Zelda design in the series, and I can see why. It looks regal and almost divine looking, like she 100% looks like a princess that’s a reincarnation of god. 10/10

Ocarina of Time (Young)

She looks less like a princess and more like a priestess or nun, but the design for the kid isn’t that bad, especially since the pink on her attire is swapped out for more of a magenta-esque color, which honestly works a lot. 8/10

Ocarina of Time (Adult)

This design is rather fitting for Zelda, especially the colors. The shoulder pads, the blonde hair, and the usuage of different shades of purple and pink are rather nice and keep the design from being distracting. However it is the weaker design in comparison to some of the others on this list. 9/10

Tetra

Tetra IS supposed to be a reincarnation of Zelda, but you wouldn’t see that at first glance. She looks more akin to an adventurous little rascal rather than a proper princess, which honestly fits well with how she’s portrayed in the game. 10/10

Toon Zelda

I like the outfit, and I like how much it perfectly captures the likeness of OOT Zelda (with a few modifications to the design), but what is up with her crown? 9/10

Four Swords

No… just no. 2/10

Twilight Princess/Smash Bros

This design is absolutely iconic, and completely unique. The brown hair, the white and magenta dress, the more reserved yet battle ready appearance, and the fact that it’s an upgraded version of the OOT design make this design for Zelda work stand out amongst the others. Instant 10/10

Skyward Sword (Regular)

God this design is so good in context. Zelda in this game is not a princess, so of course her appearance looks more casual here, giving her personality a chance to show itself. Honestly it’s a breath of fresh air, but at the same time it keeps some elements of her older designs. 10/10

Skyward Sword (White Gown)

It’s just her with a white gown, but the imagery here is as clear as day. She’s meant to resemble Hylia, and in all honesty, I can see it. 9/10

Hyrule Warriors

I like the whole warrior princess design she has in this game, but I do believe it’s not something that would work in the main series. Still perfect for this game. 10/10

Breath of The Wild

Despite her more reserved appearance, this isn’t her royal attire, this is the closest thing she has to a casual appearance. Still it words, primarily because of the blue, and the fact that the outfit itself feels less like something a princess would wear and more like something a researcher would slap on, and considering Zelda usually represents Wisdom and the fact that she’s a complete autistic geek in this part of the timeline, it’s fitting. Instant 10/10

Breath of The Wild (Royal Attire)

Her royal attire is perfect. The royal blue, the tiara, and the fact that it keeps elements of her main design while altering them to fit better with the fact that she IS in her “princess clothes” is great. Another Instant 10/10

Breath of The Wild (Cerimonial Robes)

The pure white dress, combined with the gold are perfect. It’s basically an upgraded version of Skyward Sword Zelda’s alternate attire, and I’m all for it. Yet another instant 10/10

Tears of The Kingdom

Not really much has changed, aside from the fact that she got a haircut and bought a hood. Still a 10/10

Tears of The Kingdom (Zonai Outfit)

I like the green on the dress, but if I’m being honest, Zelda, honey this attire is weaker than your other ones. 9/10

Jaime Reyes (+Khaji) Headcanons ↓

(Unless specified these are all based off Jaime from the 2006 issues)

Everything's under the cut to avoid clutter!

He has birthmarks. So many birthmarks. The most noticable ones are; two over his left brow, one under his bottom lip and another on his right eyelid. He has a lot more but their less prominent in comparison. They all come from Bianca who has just as many but they're in less obvious spots.

He has a bad habit of working in the dark because after so many complaints about the light bill Khaji just gives him night vision. Which has the consequence of others finding him working on essays in the pitch dark like a cryptic. His vision doesn't change much besides a slight green tint that the night vision adopts so he rarely notices the difference until someone points it out.

He gives the suit appendage (?) Fist bumps when they do a good job <3

Watched Naruto religiously as a kid and will drop lore bombs unprompted if anyone mentions the show (Paco is a constant victim)

Adjacent to this he also watched Digimon and prefers it to pokemon (this is mostly out of spite because Milagro would hog the TV to watch reruns and he'd miss his shows).

His hair gets longer after graduation. It just happens while he gets busy with college and this new chapter in life. Khaji suggests it give him a haircut but Jaime decides against it and keeps the hair just below the shoulder.

He and Khaji practice the body swap thing a lot more after life calms down. They don't have a system just yet. Khaji helps Jaime with cooking because despite Bianca trying her best, her son is still a clutz in the kitchen. The furthest Khaji has gone is taking control of their limbs to keep Jaime safe from mundane accidents.

He knows how to speak a little Japanese and German thanks to Khajis' help now! He figures the more he knows the better and practices in his free time.

Khaji burns his flannels at one point and sets a rule that Jaime can only wear flannel twice a week. His fashion sense isn't that great yet but he's trying <3

His taste buds have gotten used to bad foods. Only because of Khaji who's demanded the most atrocious combinations of ingredients during emergencies for the energy and he didn't have a choice but to down them.

Khaji clicks with Brenda a concerning amount and they scare Jaime a bit.

When they do both feel comfortable with taking/giving up control of their body, Khaji makes it a habit of tying up their hair in a half-up half-down style. It also has a habit of using eye make up (a habit it gained when it first landed in Egypt). Khaji replicates the products himself, since the prices are outrageous. + Brenda finds out and considers Khaji her make up dealer.

Since Khaji first fused with him–and since Khaji has made some 'adjustments'–Jaime has a tendency to sleep in weird positions. Face down planking with his arms hanging off the sofa, upper torso hung off the bed, twisted like a pretzel so his back muscles stretch. It scares whoever finds him like that the first time.

Jaime gets called mom a lot by any younger heros/vigilante as a joke (some of them mean it). He'd try rebutting them but he catches himself fretting over them and accepts his fate. (Alberto says he's a lot like Bianca in a lot of ways)

He figures out he's bi only after graduating. He doesn't do much with this information though; just collects a bunch of hero crushes over time. Khaji complains about him not getting laid yet and Milagro tries to set him up with the worst people she can find.

That's it for now! A lot of this is word dump based off of different ideas that have been filling my head for a while now. I hope it's coherent enough! More than willing to keep going if asked just hmu <3

Idk why but for some reason, the biggest thing to solidify the "Vaggie is a fallen angel" theory for me(aside from the fact that the first time I heard abt it I was very young and thought it would be cool) was Valentino being significantly more moth-like then Vaggie. Like, between the fur collar, his antenna, the second set of arms, the wing-coat(God that wing coat is so cool I hate it here), and the moth squeaks, Valentino has so many tells that he's a moth it makes you wonder why Vaggie barely has ANY besides her bow,which is literally a hair bow and can be removed, and her hair, which again that could just be a weird ass haircut, and given the fallen angel reveal, it definitely is just a weird ass haircut. The squeaking thing was especially weird, because one of the people working on the show tweeted something along the lines of "I told Viv moths squeak and she was like 'omg we have to add that to Valentino'". Not Vaggie. Just Valentino. Which is really weird, ESPECIALLY considering Vaggie is a more prominent character then Val! Like you'd think the main cast would be prioritized when it comes to silly little details like that Idk. But yeah that tweet specifically raised a couple alarm bells for me.

Idk why I've never seen anyone point this out yet tbh. It was pretty common knowledge, even to Hazbin antis, that Vaggie and Valentino were both moth-inspired, and I'm SURE somebody's drawn comparisons between the two at SOME point, but I never saw it get brought up in the context of the fallen angel Vaggie theory.

2 month T update the day before

- finally gave in and got a haircut bc i had a mullet and the length was stressing me out (honestly expected tho bc i’ve always gotten sick to my stomach when my hair grew any longer than to my shoulders). and it actually went rly well. only two people were working and there was a lot of chatting, and i got called ‘man’ a lot (in the same way you’d call someone dude at the end of a sentence. that probably makes no sense but i’m tired asf rn so take it).

anyway it’s much shorter and looks rly good :3

- started packing a bit ago and that’s actually done wonders for my confidence. i think cuz it’s more like a harness you pack yourself instead of it being realistic

- this is so lame but i’m more engaged in class bc i’m always looking for any way to answer a question and use my voice. i’ve always been that type of person (chronic teachers pet disorder/j) but i always talked quietly and felt unsure of myself in a way i couldn’t explain until i started T

on that topic i think my voice dropped even more since last week. it’s honestly been crazy but maybe has to do with how much i’ve been training it. it’s unmistakably masculine./very pos

- uhmmmm so for many years now i’ve been dyeing my hair black when i’m a natural blond and i couldn’t ever explain to someone why other than ‘it looks better’ and i’m emo asf (don’t worry, that phase never ended for me) but it’s occurred to me since i’m getting the slightest littlest bit of facial hair that it’ll be a pain in the ass to dye it consistently and the idea of going back to blond doesn’t make me want to curl up and hide in a hole which is very shocking to me. i was very very set on dyeing my hair black FOR LIFE. i’m not rly sure why T has changed that. maybe it’s cos i associated blond hair w being a girl or i hated my appearance so much while… it’s getting much better now. i NEVER would’ve comprehended on my own that that preference was cuz of gender dysphoria

before, i didn’t cry probably as much as a normal person but now it’s physically impossible. not in an emotionally constipated way, i FEEL sad, but it just doesn’t happen.

i feel emotions more mellow in general. but i’m probably more like your emotionally unavailable but well meaning older brother

My solar return chart of 2023 and how it went

Moon in gemini 1st house: 2023 was a year were I was very emotional, I had a lot of emotional up and downs, a total rollercoaster, since it was in gemini, I really reflected a lot on my emotions a lot and maybe even detached myself from them, but most of the time I was just very accepting of them and I let them flow. Since gemini is a mutable sign, I tried new makeup styles, new clothes styles, tried new hairstyles and got a failed haircut lmao.

Mars in cancer 2nd house: my self esteem was flunctuating a lot throughout the whole year, I gotta say that at the beginning of the year it was pretty stable, in the middle of the year was pretty bad and I regained back my confidence in October, I also started trying to find jobs but none called me back🥹Finances were also not stable at all.

Lilith in leo 3rd house: i was very active on social media this year which maybe without me knowing attracted some level of jealousy? I got into some arguments with friends online but we resolved it by talking it out. I also wanted attention on social media and followers and likes were kind of important for me, just because of comparison tbh, but we are good now, numbers mean nothing.

Vertex & SN in scorpio 6th house: My daily routine changed a lot in 2023, I began to add things into my daily routine that could help me have a more stable start of the morning, they will definetly will be kept doing in 2024, in terms of jobs, I didn't work throughout the year but I did try to find some.

Pluto in capricorn 8th house: I started to feel comfortable with my emotions and I also started to write a lot more, journaling more, I learned a lot about psychology, followed people who added value into my healing journey and people who talked about the stuff i was learning about.

Neptune & saturn in pisces 10th house: I feel like these placements were the ones at fault for me not getting any job in 2023 despite me trying to work 🥹😭Saturn when I catch you Saturn...Saturn when I catch you Saturn....I also wanted to work at jobs which I could've regretted working at if I actually got them thanks to neptune...lol. The thing I wanted was maybe not good for me and neptune just blurred a lot of my decisions when it came to work terms.

Sun, chiron, jupiter & mercury in Aries 11th house: like I said before, a very active year for me in social media, I posted a lot on my ig but at the same time a year were I compared myself to people online. I also spent more time with my friends and went out more, tried new things that I'd never did in my life, learned new things, my dreams and optimism this year were big. 2023 might have been the year where I went out the most with my friends. I also got to try new foods all very yum! I started to take morning walks with my friend every Monday and Friday at almost the end of the year and I gave her a lot of advice on how to stop procrastinating and actually committing to the stuff you put your mind into. I also have to say that I kind of stopped talking with some friends which I used to talk to and call with almost every day which made me think of cutting them off, I didn't let my impulses take over because I know I would've regretted it, I also cut contact with an ex friend of mine of 2021 due to disagreements of the genocide going in Palestine, funny because the original ruler of the 11th house is aquarius and aquarius is all about humanitarian causes so it all makes sense now.

Uranus, venus & NN in taurus 12th house: a very stable year mentally for me but due to uranus also being there it kinda shook it so thats why there were some ups and downs but I always got better. My dreams were also very weird and very vivid, almost prophetic too, I had a lot of prophetic dreams in 2023, I remember a dream I had back in February were I saw some snow on the mountains and 3 or 4 days later it snowed after like 5 years without snow!!! I also began to write them down too, wether in the notes app or on paper, it really helped a lot.

TT: Come with me today. I'll show you how hot her typing is. And, you can provide a cushion from when I inevitably swoon by being in her presence.

The cafe is nestled between several other shops, and it announces itself with a bright green sign. Sburban Coffee, it declares in big, blocky lettering. The outside is painted an unassuming gray-brown to match the rest of its neighbors, and there are colourful flowers in flowerpots clustered by the door. In the window, Dave can make out the shapes of many, many people inside.

The door chimes happily as Dave and Rose walk inside. The strong, strong smell of coffee immediately hits Dave. Inside, the cafe is bustling, and every table has at least one person sitting. The walls are a pretty orange, and there’s a wall with potted plants sitting on shelves. He spots Karkat at the register, looking as depressed and mildly angry as he always does. There is a smiley-face sticker on the register, along with a frowny-face. He notes the crab pin on his apron. Karkat is not the type to accessorize; Dave wonders what is different about the pin. Rose tugs him into line, and Dave begins to scrutinize the menu. He never knows what to get from coffee shops. There’s too many fancy names and words to know, and he usually just defaults to a latte. However, this time he feels like he needs to branch out a bit, try something new and all that jazz.

DAVE: hey rose

DAVE: youre smart

DAVE: whats an americano

DAVE: is it like

DAVE: essence de la america

DAVE: does it taste like eagles and football

DAVE: and FREEDOM

DAVE: its not tea right i dont want to be unpatriotic

DAVE: gotta make ol g washy proud

ROSE: It’s an espresso drink diluted with water.

ROSE: Now shush. Look over there.

ROSE: That's the girl.

Dave subtly looks over in the direction Rose indicates. The person in question has their back to him, but he can see that they’re wearing an emerald sweater and a long skirt. They also have the Lesbian Haircut™. He can see why Rose likes them. Rose pulls him forward again as the line moves up. They are now second in line, and Dave still doesn’t know what he wants. He sticks his hands in his pockets and does the patented Cool Guy Slouch to hide his indecision and decides to look at Karkat instead. He can’t imagine a guy like Karkat working at a coffee shop, yet here he is. Green apron, gray sweater. Dave doesn’t think he’s ever seen Karkat wear anything different. He might be an escaped extra from a cartoon TV show. Dave idly wonders why he’d liked Karkat back in high school. He seems all cool and tough from the outside but he’s really just a big, pathetic nerd with an extra large side of wet-cattiness.

BARISTA: hey, i can take you guys over here!

Dave stops staring awkwardly at Karkat and instead turns his attention to things like moving. He studies the barista at their register as they walk over.

His first impression: oh, she’s cute.

Man, what was that line of thought?? He internally winces. Anyway. Lame thoughts aside, the barista is very put together, at least in comparison to Karkat. Granted, the bar is low. So low, in fact, it could be a speed bump. Her name tag cheerfully declares her name as Jade in loopy green handwriting, along with a plant sticker. Colorful pins flash at him from her apron.

ROSE: Dave.

ROSE: Are you going to order?

Dave blinks, startled out of his thoughts. He decides to go for something smooth, suave, dare he say, even cool?

DAVE: uh yeah

DAVE: hey love

DAVE: shit

DAVE: i mean

DAVE: lovely lady?

Dave begins questioning all his life choices, and contemplates throwing himself out the window. Actually, no, it’s a first floor window. That’d just be embarassing. He might catch fire instead. That’s a better option. One flaming hot Dave, coming right up. It would be better than whatever this train wreck of a conversation is.

Thankfully, the barista – Jade – is far cooler than he is, and just laughs.

JADE: hey yourself, good sir

JADE: what can i get you

DAVE: i was hoping you had a recommendation for me

JADE: uhh, well

Jade turns to look at the board behind her, ponytail swinging. Dave takes this moment to regain his composure, ignoring the look Rose is undoubtedly giving him. The eyebrows are so totally up. He can feel their skeptical vibes. He rearranges his face to that of a distant, aloof expression. What flaming dumpster fire? There is only Dave. Cool Dave. He is so calm and composed. Everybody wants to be him when they grow up. Jade turns back around.

JADE: i think the cinnamon caramel chai is pretty good!!

DAVE: alright ill take that

JADE: your drinks will be ready in a minute

Rose pays, and Dave absconds walks calmly over to an empty table and claims it, taking the seat that puts his back to the register. Totally not because of what jsut happened.. After a moment, Rose slides into the chair opposite him.

ROSE: Dave.

ROSE: What was that?

DAVE: what was what you saw nothing there was no dumpster fire

DAVE: besides youre one to talk miss she types hotly huh huh

DAVE: shut up rose put those eyebrows away or ill shave them off in your sleep

ROSE: Dave, I haven’t seen you this bad since-

DAVE: DONT EVEN SAY IT HES RIGHT THERE

Smooth, Dave. Now everyone in the cafe is looking at you, probably even Karkat. He melts into his chair. Can this get any worse? He looks over at the register, checking to see if their drinks are done. Karkat is looking in their direction, vaguely confused. The poor barista that Dave totally ruined any chances he had with her has disappeared. Maybe she ran for the hills from the total weirdo that she just met. Oh, nope, there she is, shaking a bottle of milk. He pretends to stare off into space, in a cool fashion. Out of the corner of his eye, though, he studies her again. He hadn’t gotten much of a chance to before, as he’d been otherwise occupied. Jade is a fairly tall girl with long, dark hair currently up in a ponytail that swings every time she moves. She has round glasses and a pretty smile. Unlike Karkat, she is wearing a tasteful orange shirt with her apron. He notes that she and Karkat move around each other easily – which surprises Dave – and while he can’t hear their conversation, they appear to be chatting. Karkat doesn’t like most people. Dave considers himself one of the lucky few that get to be Karkat’s friend.

Well, that was weird, Jade thinks as she begins making the latest coffee order: a latte with four shots of espresso, with a little dark roast on top. She’s a little worried for the girl who’d just ordered it. She hopes that she isn’t responsible for her inevitable death by sheer amount of caffeine. Reaching around Karkat (who gives her a salty look that she knows holds no real bite) for the pitcher, she begins to fill it with water. Beside her, Karkat shifts, and she knows he’s about to ask her about what just happened.

KARKAT: HEY JADE, WHAT HAPPENED?

Called it. Jade has what she likes to call her “KARKAT SENSE.” She can always tell when he’s going to do something particularly weird, which to be fair is pretty much just Karkat’s natural state.

JADE: with the sunglasses dude?

JADE: poor guy i feel bad for him

JADE: he looked like he might die of embarassment

KARKAT: WHAT’D THAT IDIOT DO?

JADE: oh, do you know him?

She pours the water into the espresso machine and starts it, putting a cup underneath. While she waits, she begins to steam the milk.

KARKAT: UNFORTUNATELY, YEAH.

KARKAT: HE’S A FRIEND FROM HIGH SCHOOL.

JADE: oh nice!!

JADE: well i think he was trying to be cool or something

JADE: he tried to say [bad dave impression] hey lovely lady

JADE: but he called me love instead

JADE: it was kind of sad

KARKAT: WHAT A FUCKING LOSER. I CANT BELIEVE I WAS EVER INTO HIM.

JADE: wait, really?

JADE: i cant picture you with him

JADE: he doesnt seem like your type

This probably meaningless but i think a comparison we can draw between kazui and amane is that Kazui has stated that hes seen by his family as a disappointment and Amane is seen as like the ideal good child. I'm probably making shit up but yeah 👍

I am so sorry for the late answer. I thought I had answered and just realized today that I hadn't done that. I don't believe it's meaningless.

I was just discussing the overlapping similarities between the prisoners. Specifically in reference to how they answer the family question. Shidou and Kazui both answer it in a way I find incredibly interesting that leads into the validity of your statement in my opinion.

Prisoner 008 Momose, Amane: It was my father, my mother and me.

Kazui and Shidou both use their marriages/found family or current status within the family to avoid elaborating on the structure of the household they were raised in. Which was one hundred percent the question and others have answered it accurately including Mikoto who we all know doesn't even live with his sister or mom anymore. So, these two just chose to give answers that were convenient for them.

The way they answered makes them the only people in Milgram we don't know the sibling status of yet. Even Amane is alluded to being an older sister through the credits of Magic but that could be a status given to her within the structure of her religion.

So, we don't know if they were raised by single parents or both if they have any younger or older siblings or a twin. Because they've willfully chosen to omit that information by focusing primarily on the households, they've created not their family overall.

Something that in Shidou's case is understandable given he's paired with Mahiru and both of their stories focus on romantic love. So, there being a focus on his marital relationship makes sense in context of his pairing.

It only gets weird when one takes into consideration that the Shidou we see in Throw Down working in the hospital has a mole on between his neck and collar bone. An area that the Shidou in Milgram is conveniently always covering by wearing a turtleneck or some sort of shirt that keeps the area where that identifying mole is hidden at all times.

Going as far as to sleep in a fucking turtleneck in Throw Down for this reason.

Plus, the one time it's alluding to him doing doctor shit it's conveniently shot from an angle where we wouldn't be able to see the mole anyway. Since it's on the right side of his body and we are seeing the left side. Not even touching on the fact that the likelihood of having twins increases if one is a twin themselves and many have speculated the children in Triage are fraternal twins.

This trend of showing this mole off and then covering the person that area when the character that is undoubtedly Shidou is shown continues throughout Triage.

Made even worse through this scene where we see Shidou reaching out to a guy we know isn't him because both of their hair is a different color they are wearing different clothes- And if those two things aren't enough.

Triage expressly shows us they have different fucking haircuts as well.

All something that will remain highly speculative simply because when asked his family structure he conveniently omitted having any parents or siblings and simply focused on his marriage.

Which is better than Kazui who uses the concept of being disowned to omit having any family at all. Yet conveniently mentions his victim was his wife now. Unlike Shidou who at least answered the fucking question even though he scratched it out.

Which is even weirder since the Kazui is paired with someone who's entire story is deeply rooted in familial issues and yet we know nothing about his family. We don't know if he was raised in a two- or single-parent household if the family that he states views him as a disappointment are his parents, in-laws, siblings, cousins etc.

Hell, we don't even know if Hinako was being referred to when in his statement about family viewing him as a disappointment. But we have to assume she is because she's the only fucking person we have confirmation of being his family at any point in time. Even if that confirmation is tentative at best.

We know more about his childhood friend than his family background and nobody seems to have questioned that.

Overall, I don't think you're making shit up or reaching, but we have so little information on Shidou and Kazui's families that pursuing this train of thought is damn near impossible. It's made even weirder for Shidou because he states this in his second written interrogation.

So, his family was greatly involved in him getting into this relationship but he just omits them because technically they're not apart of my immediate family structure anymore. Like okay sir do you have a mom? A father? Siblings? Like what the hell? You got to know your wife through your family you can't mention them now? Okay...alright whatever.

FMAB / AoT Comparisons and Contrasts

I was holding off on making this post because I didn’t have enough evidence to compare EVERY aspect from both franchises, but I feel like I have enough evidence to at least explore the similarities between a majority of the main characters and a couple locations. That said, I reserve the right to make a second part to this post if I feel like it.

OKAY! SO!

Because I am an avid, hardcore fan of both Attack on Titan and Fullmetal Alchemist, I began to look compare and contrast characters from both series and oh my goodness the similarities are uncanny- like, y’all, I’m so convinced Isayama took inspiration from FMA, I’d be shocked if he didn’t.

Before I get into anything, I should point out that someone has already made a couple of these observations already in a Reddit post, but I’m just adding onto these findings. Link to the OG post is below.

SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY AHEAD FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT FINISHED EITHER SHOW!!

Alright, so to start off in terms of characters, we’ve got Edward Elric and Eren Jaeger.

They’re both hot-tempered kids who lose their moms and see her suffer in horrific ways.

Their dads also technically walked out on them early on in their lives.

They also lose body parts but get them back at some point.

The deaths of their mothers trigger their character arcs, starting with how? Enlisting in the military.

Then there’s Winry Rockbell and Mikasa Ackerman:

Childhood friends/love interests whose parents died at a young age.

They care deeply about the protagonists.

They’re also terrifying when angry.

Alphonse Elric and Armin Arlert:

The blonde, smart, sensible characters who are almost always by the protagonists’ side.

Got an absolute GLOW-UP as they got older.

Trisha Elric and Carla Jaeger:

Mothers to the protagonists who have the signature “dead anime mom” hairstyle.

Died while the protagonists were young.

Their deaths prompted their sons’ character arcs. (If not the entirety of both series.)

Unaware of their husbands’ past.

Van Hohenheim and Grisha Jaeger:

Fathers to the protagonists who walk out on their families at an early age.

Both wear glasses and have somewhat? long hair.

Both were either directly or indirectly responsible for murder at some point.

Under the heel of a higher power too. (Grisha with Marley and Hohenheim with Xerxes.)

Jean Havoc and Jean Kirstein:

These are literally the same characters, just different shows.

Same first name, same haircut, same mannerisms, SAME ENGLISH VA-

Also kinda got a glow up as they got older.

Once again, if I had a nickel for every time Mike McFarland voiced a character named Jean with an undercut and playboy tendencies, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice, right??

Roy Mustang and Levi Ackerman:

The cool, collected and unbelievably badass heartthrobs with black hair and high military ranks.

Also terrifying when pissed off.

Riza Hawkeye and Hange Zoe:

The second in command that’s usually by their superior’s side.

Also unbelievably badass.

People may or may not ship them with their superior.

Erwin Smith and King Bradley:

I honestly could not find much similarities between these two except for the fact that they’re both leaders of their military division?

And they both die in the end I guess.

Maes Hughes and Marco Bodt:

The kind, gentle hearted ally of the protagonists who find out the truth about their enemies before anyone else and dies because of it.

Lust and Annie Leonhart:

Female antagonists that get dealt with early on in their series.

Capable of regeneration of their body.

Brings harm to the protagonist’s ally at one point. (Lust with Hughes and Annie with Marco.)

Gluttony and Bertholdt Hoover:

Male antagonists who are usually around or involved with their female partner one way or another (Bertholdt with Annie / Gluttony with Lust).

Care for their female partner a lot.

Both are killed by being eaten by someone (Bertholdt is eaten by Armin / Gluttony is eaten by Pride), but not before desperately crying out for their female partner (Bertholdt cries out for Annie / Gluttony cries out for Lust).

Scar and Reiner Braun:

Scorned men and enemies of the protagonist who eventually come after them to get revenge for their homeland(?).

Turn around and become good(?) in the end, fighting alongside the protagonists’ allies against a common but VERY different enemy (Reiner with Eren / Scar with Father).

Truth and Ymir Fritz:

Beings from another realm that interact with the protagonist one way or another.

Aid the protagonist realize their full potential, for better (Edward) and for worse (Eren).

Homunculi and Titan Shifters:

Mysterious beings with regenerative properties and unique powers.

Their powers can be transferred to new users if the previous users dies(?) (Ex. Greed with Ling / Eating a Titan Shifter as a pure Titan).

I swear I am not crazy, I just have an unhealthy obsession with both of these shows. Making a part two shortly.

Lmao, I like to imagine that darling comes into the gear station one day with a haircut (like 3-4in chopped off) and the Monster!Twins™ are just internally freaking out. Like-

In reference to this post and this post They are having a time.

To put it simply, they are verrry powerful- Even among their kind they are powerful. Very powerful. How powerful? Well, too powerful to have ever bothered with small things like little humans and their silly little mortal lives in their oh so short lived universes. Oh no, Eldritch Demons of their scope are only concerned with grand, sweeping, cosmic forces that would make any mortal immediately explode upon even attempting to conceive of these powers- They've never had interest in smaller things before.

And so trying to hastily scrape together knowledge of humans, and not only that, but cramming the entirety of their Weird Divine-Horror Selves into an itty bitty lil living space with all the (by comparison) intellectual capacity of a goldfish and perceptive powers of an earthworm, they may've gotten a few things wrong! No matter; They can fix it up as they go along, hopefully. More or less they're just wearing skin-suits over their first attempt at becoming physical- It was difficult enough to compress themselves so much, and to have to go further? Absolutely terrible, to say the least. And they still don't know everything about humans, either- Despite having made extremely human mimicries for their Servitor Depot Agents. (Though to be fair, the Depot Agents are nowhere near on the power level of their eldritch abomination masters and thus have a much easier time inferring proper human acting.)

However, the longer they've been humans the more they've learned and adapted- And been able to refine their disguises and appearances as they've needed to.

But some things have still escaped them.

Their hair is exceptionally fluffy- light, feathery- And er, responsive- Trailing your fingers through their hair you notice it seems awfully static-y, clinging to your hand as though trying to keep touching your hands- You get soft sighs from the twins the longer you touch their heads. It is, after all, excessively nice for you to be touching them like this-! To be fair to them though, Humans seemed to enjoy having their heads pet- As did so many other creatures. So of course they gave their hair feelers in it, like humans have-

Right?

Until you, of course, walk in one day.

With your hair shorter?

They understood humans could get their hair styled- And they could dye it different colors- But-

How was your hair shorter? How? What?

Your bosses seemed to materialize behind you- You certainly didn't hear or see them coming as you happily chatted with your coworkers about they day's tasks- Looming over you as they studied you intently-

Your hair smelled very nice today as well.

"Oh! Good morning, Station Masters! Need anything?" You asked, saluting quickly- Ingo nodded approvingly, his stoic frown quite tense as he stared down at you.

"Everything is in good order, Miss- Your hair looks different today," He remarked, adjusting his hat as he bent over to look at you closer. His closeness was- Intimidating.

"Oh yes, I got my hair cut!"

The twins were utterly astounded. Hair- Hair cut? You cut your hair? You cut your hair?? How was it not bleeding- How were you not reeling in pain- Had they given you painkillers of some kind? That would hurt- Their own hair was sensitive enough- But you, a regular little human-! They must figure this out immediately. Only one way to do so- Contact the one human they could actually ask questions of.

Elesa is both mildly disgusted and intrigued that the twins' hair actually feels things- though that also explains why they try to keep so much of it tucked under their hats at all times.

The two, meanwhile, are flabbergasted- Human hair isn't alive. It's dead. It's just there. It's only sensitive because of the bits attached to your skin. How much else are they missing about human anatomy...? But dang- They've strangely come to like their hair. And your hands through it... It feels nice. The Depot Agents have an absolute break down over this knowledge though.

"You mean our hair isn't supposed to be able to feel stuff?" Cloud asked, running his hand through his locks- "Apparently... not." Jackie returned, having explained what he overheard from Elesa's conversation with their bosses.

"Damn. Humans are weird. Their hair is just- Dead?"

"...Yea, apparently."

"That's weird though." Cloud added, deep in thought- "D'you think the bosses could give humans touchy hair? It's pretty sweet-" Jackie's head snapped around to look at Cloud, a look of terribly deep concern across his face. "Cloud," He began- With as serious a tone as he could take- "Do not- Under any circumstances- Ask the bosses to do anything- To the entirety of humanity, alright?" It was a rare thing for Jackie to be so concerned- Though knowing Cloud's disposition, knowing the bosses' penchant for indulging their little creations-

It wouldn't be too far off for the agents to wake up the next morning, to the rest of humanity being afflicted with their condition. "N-No worry, Chief! I won't- I won't-!" Cloud tried to assuage his Senior-

"What're y'all talking about?"

Jackie and Cloud whipped around to see Cameron standing at the door- Peering in, unsure if he should enter or not- Jackie turned to him, inviting him into the break room. "Oh Cameron, we were just discussing the boss' meeting with uh, agent-" "-Cameron!! Guess what! Didja know humans don't have touchy hair??" Cloud interjected- A moment of silence. Cameron stayed still, looking between his coworkers cautiously. "What?" He finally asked.

Cloud grabbed at Jackie's sideburns. "Ya see these things? You know how they feel stuff???" He pulled harshly- "OW-!"

Cameron nodded. "...Yea...?"

"Humans don't have that! They don't! They just don't! They DON'T FEEL ANYTHING!" A look of realization dawned on Cameron's face. "Wait, seriously?" He asked, running his hand over his own hair- "That explains why those trainers had their hair shorter yesterday..."

"Yea! We gotta let everyone else know!" Jackie sighed- Knowing exactly what was about to happen- As Cameron and Cloud practically bolted from the room, eager to spread their newfound knowledge across the rails.

And spread it did, and quickly too, across all of the rail-lines- Resulting in a growing chorus of "Ohhhh, that explains that." Over the whole network of Gear Station.

For looking so human themselves, the Depot Agents are... surprisingly inhuman under their neat, orderly appearances.

Wally’s fanmail was always the same. There was the expected: admiration for his ability in battle and the fantastic, somewhat someway somehow artistic scenes he created with his ring of fire and explosions, and confessions of love.

They were sweet and all, albeit filled with way too much wishful thinking. Usually they came with a gift, though, so at the very least he was more than grateful.

He opens the first one of the day, he could tell with the little heart stamp on the envelope, and reads the first line out loud just like the rest of them, “Dear Fuse, I just gotta say I am in love with you.” He laughs, then speaks apologetically as though they’d be able to hear him, “Sorry, dear. I’m taken.”

“By who?”

Wally stares up from the envelope, confused look on his pretty face, furrowed eyebrows and all the shabang. “I’m sorry, what?”

You stare up from your book, an amused look on your face. “Did you hear me correctly?”

“Yeah, yeah, just-” Then he realizes it. You were only having a bit of fun. “oh.”

You laugh as he clears his throat. “Right, well. I am taken by a wonderful man. My boyfriend, he’s the best I could ask for.”

“Really?” You ask nonchalantly, taking a sip from your cup.

“Fair dinkum. Do you want to know more?” He shrugs. “I mean, I’d gloat about him all day if I could, but I dunno if you’re willin’ to lend a stranger an ear just to talk about their boyfriend.” 

“Yeah, tell me more.” You snicker, “Perhaps I know him.”

“Yeah, preferably.” You sit up in your high chair by the kitchen, as if you’re beginning to pay more attention.

“Eh, dunno if you know the guy, he hardly comes out during the daytime. You’d think he’s a vampire o’ something.” You stick your tongue out at him but he decides to ignore it. “Are you sure you only want me to sing his praises? I can say other things, too.”

“Well, he’s a good man. Greatest man I know. He’s kind, very. Treats me well.”

“How well?”

“So well.”

He stands from his seat on the couch and makes his way to you, slowly, very slowly. “He’s smart, too. Awfully smart. Makes me feel like an idiot in comparison, frankly.” 

“Don’t put yourself down just to uplift someone else, dear.”

“You’re right.” He shakes his head at himself, “Okay, then. Puts in the hard yakka on everything he does. And then there’s his looks.”

You laugh at his face as he says that. He looks like he’s in a trance as he’s thinking about it. “Mesmerizing, is he?”

“Yeah. Like,” He stops in front of you, leaning against the counter, “one of those crystal balls at the fortune teller’s in festivals.”

“Reckon those aren’t the only balls that mesmerize you.”

He snorts, loud, and almost breaks character for a second. “Yeah, I reckon. You little ripper.” He mutters to himself. 

“Anyway, he’s uh, got eyes more beautiful than anything you’d see.”

“Mhm?” He hooks a finger in your belt loops, an act he pulls off like it’s nothing but one that definitely doesn’t go unnoticed either.

“Hair styled perfectly.” 

“Yeah?” With the belt loops, he pulls you off your seat and closer. Closer to him.

“Yeah.” He breathes out, finally feeling you against him. “Yeah. It’s amazing hair, really. I don’t think I’ll be able to achieve something like it with my aging hairline.”

You snicker, “Well I think you pull off your haircut well, considering what you’ve got.”

“Do I?” He asks, eyes trailing down your face.

“You do.”

He switches his fingers on your belt loops, from index to middle, and pulls his finger through up to the first knuckle against the loop. He’s got his hands around either side of your hips, now, and with that, he pulls you impossibly closer.

“What else?”

“Oh… lips softer than a baby’s bum.”

He pulls you forward again, as if tugging, with his hands; clearly frustrated when he realizes it fails to pull your upper half towards him.

“Weird comparison, mister..?”

“Walter, Wally, Fuse. Whatever you want to call me.” He replies breathlessly.

“Do you want to kiss me, mister Fuse?”

His tongue darts out between his lips, wetting them with saliva as if making them more presentable to you. “Yeah.” He admits. “I do, a lot.”

You lean in, finally, to satisfy him. “Let me tell you about my boyfriend.”

He loves the way those words slip out your mouth, especially after kissing you. ‘My boyfriend’, like he was yours, like he belonged to you.

“He’s got the brightest smile I’ve ever seen and eyes a warm, sweetly chocolate brown. He’s kind, very kind, and,” Wally doesn’t resist pulling a kiss from your lips, but even then you continue like nothing. “a brilliant man. He’s a fighter, he is; could fight for anything and get it.”

Wally practically purrs as you trace a finger up his side. “Fought for me, even, and got me. Impossibly stubborn, can’t take ‘no’ for an answer, but I like that about him.”

“Do you? Like that about people?”

“Yeah, I do.”

“Then I suppose you would like it if I asked for a kiss, then wouldn’t take your refusal for an answer?”

“I suppose so. But,” You chuckle, “I don’t think my boyfriend would like that.”

Wally laughs, too, and steals a sweet kiss from your lips. “On the contrary, actually, he really liked that.”

Your finger continues up his side, up his shoulder and slightly ticklish neck, until it reaches his cheek. Then, you cup it with your hand. “Did he, now?”

“Very.” His grin widens. “I think you can tell, can’t you? Feel a little something in the ol’ daks?”

You laugh, out loud, finally breaking character at his derpy oggling eyes and stupid words. “You bogan!”

Wally laughs, “Can’t help it when you’re so clearly tryna get me all riled up.”

Undead Unluck ep.1 thoughts

[Four Years and an Anime, Baby!!!]

(Contents: Ch.1 comparison, pacing, animation)

Note: For the sake of this review series, I'm going to avoid any overt references to the later events of the manga. Anything I have to say on that topic will be relegated to their own posts, so anime-onlys can read these too if they're so inclined

And we're off to a great start!!!

Easily the thing that I'm most excited about is the new intro, expanding on To You, From Me (Fuuko's manga, for those who didn't catch the name), which we got basically no information on in the original. I do think it's a little odd that the scene we saw doesn't resemble the one Fuuko is seen reading pretty much at all, but I do like what David Production is going for with it

As a long-time fan, I thought that intro was really cool, and bodes well for how David plans to adapt the manga going forward, likely expanding on or adding scenes that weren't present in the manga to help build atmosphere or context. However, my roommate, who is completely unfamiliar, was strongly confused and taken aback by the strange animation and surreal imagery, so I worry that this addition may be offputting to newcomers. Fingers crossed everyone can overlook that

Aside from that, the beats of chapter 1 are pretty much intact, though a lot of it was sadly truncated or removed for the sake of streamlining to fit the half-hour timeframe, which is to be expected even if it is a bit of a shame. I really loved Andy testing the limits of Unluck, keeping careful track of the relative size of the debris based on how long he touched Fuuko, but in the interest of time, skipping that and keeping the note about how it works is serviceable I suppose

I also think it's a little weird to have Andy and Fuuko alone at the bridge rather than drawing a crowd, especially since they're in such a crowded city, though I'm sure it's more cost-effective to only use the characters who matter instead of animating a bunch of nobodies milling about and being voiced by however many extras would be required. It picks up the pace, and gives way to a very funny reinterpretation of the events of the manga with Andy simply rocketing his head back to where he started instead of Fuuko going to the ground to inspect what she'd done

The most important moments, being the meeting, the haircut, and the battle, were all executed spectacularly, so the connecting moments in between being less than stellar is perfectly acceptable. I don't have any trouble believing that people will enjoy themselves watching this and be engaged enough to continue on

Andy's animations were very fluid and imaginative, I particularly loved the touch of him floating the knife on a jet of his blood rather than just balancing it on his finger while letting himself bleed. The blood on Andy's teeth evaporating after Fuuko stabbed him was also a great way to indicate how Undead works, whereas in the manga his teeth are just mysteriously clean a few panels later, potentially misleading readers into thinking that it's a continuity error. Oh, and Andy's body vanishing after he tosses his head to Fuuko? It's so clear that someone on this team is familiar with the source material, adding details that would logically be present even if the author didn't portray them in the original, which is great because Tozuka is already extemely detail-oriented

I will admit, I am not the biggest fan of the voice actors. I've never really liked Yuichi Nakamura too much, and I just don't think he's the best fit for Andy specifically. Moe Kahara is a pretty new actress, I believe, and she just sounds kind of...unrefined, I guess? I'm sure she'll grow on me, or she'll get more experienced and give a stronger performance as she goes, so I'm not going to write her off, I just thought she sounded a bit generic here. The opening theme, though played without the visuals as per usual with first episodes, sounded rad, and I'm super excited to see the full thing next week. I'm sad that I have to wait for it, but I'm more than happy enough with the episode itself that I don't mind

Overall, though I obviously have to say that the corresponding manga chapter is better, I greatly enjoyed the first episode and highly recommend it both to newcomers because it does a solid job in and of itself and to manga fans because it provides a nice new perspective on the source material. I'm pretty hard to please with this sort of thing, or rather pretty easy to disappoint, so for me to walk away with a strongly positive attitude is a huge mark in this adaptation's favor

Not only am I still excited to see how this anime goes going forward, my confidence in how well it's going to present the story I love so much has only gone up, so I can't call this episode anything other than a rousing success for me. I hope you all enjoyed it too, and I can't wait for episode two!!!

God just imagining the Batfams reader being like eh, fuck this and just going superrrrrr underground.

Like waiter/waitress in a two light country town, staying away from electronics and news and anything that could give you away.

And then one day when you’re comfy, keeping to yourself to avoid attachment, you go to a table to take their order and just find them sitting there, all eyes on you.

It would be so much funnier if the darling was ACCIDENTALLY found; like they just stumbled into the diner and is just as shocked as they look up at you.

So depending on the material, Gotham is either in New Jersey or Illinois (and not to virtue signal but I lowkey find the occasional Chicago/Detroit comparisons really ignorant actually) but anyways you decide, "you know what, not just fuck this Batfamily, fuck GOTHAM, why is it legitimately so awful here" and Metropolis is right next door and is literally no better, so you decide to run away from the entire state, maybe even catching a Boom Tube to another state entirely, because you have certain limitations on how far you can go. You wind up in a nice little rural Kansas town out in the country, luckily you grabbed all your important papers with you when you ran so you can try and pick up where you left off, new bank account, maybe even a new name, trying to make yourself undetectable (which I think would probably be impossible to be undetectable by BATMAN but like for the sake of the story--) and you're just, starting to live your own quiet little life. It's all very peaceful and cottagecore and serene. You start working st a cute diner and all the locals are nice and welcoming in your nice little new home. There's even a nice farmer's market and you meet a sweet old lady and you start seeing her regularly around town and she eventually notices you're just a sweet young adult without any family and invites you over for dinner

And she's fucking Superman's mom and you basically unintentionally walk straight into the Kent household and he is there and wouldn't it be so fucked up if, since they are such close friends, and the Kent's are so welcoming, Bruce is also there like

The duality of you speaking with Supe's mom "oh you have a lovely home, Mrs Kent" "oh no none of that dear just call me Martha" and you suddenly lock eyes with Clark and Bruce at the dinner table and let loose the loudest "FUCK" (and Clark frowns at you bc don't you swear in front of his mama >:( he's a good country boy and you WILL mind your manners in this house young-- )

And maybe Martha excuses herself for a moment or Pa Kent takes her away bc he can tell you have some sort of history with these two and you're just like, instantly cutting your losses, ready to book it out the front door, and i mean, Superman probably stops you. Um HELLO his sweet old mom invited you to dinner and she's already cooked everything to include you? Go sit at that table RIGHT NOW. And you wind up being sat directly next to Bruce and are extremely quiet/awkward the entire evening until it's time for you to go home and, oh great, dinner was extremely uncomfortable for you but it was keeping you from being forced to confront Bruce, and I imagine you barely even leave that house before he's dragging you forward for a hug that practically cracks your ribs. Let's be real he was probably secretly sneaking texts on his phone to inform the rest of the Batfam and maybe some of them are even showing up in Smallville to 1. See what you've been up to and where you've been staying and 2. Help bring you back, obviously

Also like I kinda like to brainstorm innocent things they can be weird and controlling over so like you've got a different haircut and maybe your hair is dyed now and your skins broken out a little since you've been slacking on your routine and don't have that Wayne Money to buy such luxuries anymore and they just like. Hate it lmao. Like imagine if you had long hair that they loved to do shit with and it's just significantly shorter the next time you see them. They're just all going "NOOOO 🥺" and mourning the loss of being able to style and braid your strands and such

Honestly I keep getting fic ideas revolving around hair but since hair length and texture is not always something that can be, uh, completely universal, I kinda felt too guilty to write anything but it's also like, idk, I'm basically writing for fun, what's the harm in like writing a yandere obsessed with my long wavy hair kwim 😅 why not write the chocobros noticing you kinda dress functionally for hiking around with them and encouraging you to get a haircut and it devolves into constantly buying you pretty dresses and fixing you up all the time so youve got the 4 men in black armed to the teeth and like the cute girl in the sundress following them around. Why not write Valentino bullying my ass because I didn't realize I had like some vague semblance of hair texture all this time and insisting I start using curl creams n styling my hair and dragging my ass to his salon. Why not write platonic/controlling Batfam losing it bc you were running errands one day on one of the rare occasions you got time to yourself and randomly decided you wanted a haircut because they never chopped off enough length at home and you walk back in the front door and they're literally looking at you and dropping what's in their hands as they then rush to slather you in like hair oils and hair masks every night. Just sitting on the couch scowling enough for a lifetime as one of them insists on massaging your scalp to stimulate hair growth and still wanting to put little bows n braids and accessories in like. Is the entire point of this blog not to be incredibly self serving and escapist lmao 😂

Decided to make my own interpretations/redesigns/rewrites of the Aphmau characters. Right now I only have the mys s1 aph-house housemates redesigned, but I have a lot, and I mean A LOT, of stuff for other characters.

Minecraft Diaries: Kinda more longer, tangled hair. I kept her markings but I'm gonna be honest I didn't look at a reference to see if they were correct. I just kinda winged it. I'll probably change them to her actual ones. Also her eyes are kinda more vacant since she doesn't appear as lively (or at least as happy) as her counterpart. Has a lot more scars, mostly from recklessness and lack of awareness. Her palms have calluses from all the work she does.

I also wanna say that I imagine her earlier outfits to be significantly less purple, but as she gains more and more influence as a political leader she is able to afford adding purple to her daily wardrobe. Also she gets a damn haircut.

Mystreet: Shorter and neater hair. Kept her bangs from her earlier skins because I love them. Happier eyes too. I decided to just do her galaxy sweater since I just thought it suits her the best. I don't know if I wanna keep the whole werewolf side plot with her since it... really isn't that big of a deal for her. But I decided to just sketch out what her hair and ears would look like in S6. They fade to gray. Also her hair is significantly shorter because idk it's more convenient or it hides her identity. I just thought she'd look cute :)

As for her personality she is a lot less like her S3+ self and more S1-S2. She's more sarcastic and mature instead of... whatever the future seasons offered. I'm gonna be frank I don't like how often she was babied in later seasons, it made her dynamics with others (especially Aaron) weird.

Minecraft Diaries: Half shaved hair that's also braided because I thought it'd look badass and would suit their rough, unapproachable exterior. She doesn't have many scars, mainly cause it's more likely she'd beat you to unconsciousness than it is to scar her. I imagine the one on her cheek to be something from one of the other jury members or Zane himself. She also has a large scar on their right arm and bruises on their fists. Also yeah that's how I'm drawing the armor for the jury of nine. The armor itself is tinted by their respective color (in Katelyn's case, it's blue).

Her personality is mainly the same as canon I think. She's kinda awkward and does have people's best interest at heart, they really just don't know how to show it.

Mystreet: Pretty similar to canon. Although I should say that the reason the hair colors are pretty different is because she adds highlights to her hair. I think it was said during early S3 or during one of the moving episodes. They also have brown eyes because I can't stand the blue on blue on blue I'm sorry.

As for her personality they're kinda more laid back in comparison to canon. I do wanna keep her journey / character development though. Also less uhhh """"tsundere"""". I'm sorry but there's only like three tsunderes in fiction that I can tolerate. Also they're a grown twenty-something year old. She's staying as a giant nerd though. Love it when she's cringe fail <3

Minecraft Diaries: Long, brown hair. Does it make sense for it to be long? Probably not. However I make the rules and I decided she would be really pretty with long hair. Her clothes aren't as vibrant though. Also they are actually medieval because what the hell was her S1 and S3 outfits?? Her S2 dress was gorgeous.

Her character is kinda different in my version. She's still bubbly, but not to Mystreet degree. She mellows out during between S1 and S2 (mainly because NT surpasses her in terms of energy). She's also just a regular baker and not a fUCKING MAID??? Also she knows forbidden magic oops. Because of that she's also a lot more careful and a little paranoid.

Mystreet: She dies her hair bright ass bubble gum pink </3. Definitely to appear cuter. Also, small detail, but she paints her nails/claws light pink too. All in all there's a fuck ton of pink. I decided to just draw her S3 outfit because it's actually really cute. I gave her earrings as well. As for her S6 design, she's growing out her roots to kinda 'blend in'. I have some doodles of some ideas of post-S6 that I wanna recreate because they're cute and. YEah. I spent a lot of time for Nana.

Her personality early on is just as unbearable, but not as criminal, y'know? In my rewrite she was basically raised by the internet, so to speak, and adopted fandom culture heavily. She eventually started replacing herself with her online identity. I could make a much longer and more detailed post later if anyone's interested! Anyway, she later grows and becomes a better person.

Minecraft Diaries: Slightly longer hair that covers their face. I gave them a lot of belts. Is it practical? Probably not. Do they look cool? ...Idk. I don't have much to say for their appearance, I kinda just went with 'rule of cool'. I will say, they probably have a fucking lot of scars, especially around their wrists and ankles (shackles) and chest (stabbed).

Idk what EXACTLY I want their personality to be, but they're a lot more serious. They're still a little bit of a socially awkward dork, but it's covered up by their mysterious aura. Somewhat.

Mystreet: Alright I'm gonna be honest I was running low on ideas. This is probably their most 'approachable' look, or like. The outfit they wear at family reunions. I firmly believe Vylad is a dark academia enjoyer. Also they're wearing those stupid little boots and it makes them look taller. ALSO you can't see it (mainly cause idk what I want it to look like yet), but they have matching tattoos with the SKs and Laurance. They were going to do piercings but didn't want to commit.

As for their personality... it's basically same as canon. Or like. Aligned with canon. Just add some unnecessary angst because I like drama.

least favourite mash character?

I knew I was going to get this question so you're going to have to indulge my preamble. "Least favorite" does not mean "I dislike this character." It means "I like this character less relative to the other characters in this show." My baseline for MASH character is extremely high. I don't dislike any of them! But I like some more or less than others. So with that in mind.

BJ Hunnicutt

He's just less interesting to me than anyone else. I can say a lot of critical things about his writing and Mike Farrell's acting and I'm sure these things play into why I find him less interesting and care about him less. But at the end of the day, I just do. I don't have a lot of strong feelings about him. If he weren't popular in the fandom, I probably wouldn't think about him much. He's fine. But a lot of other characters either have an iron grip on my attention or make me laugh just by standing there and BJ doesn't do either of these things. There are some episodes where I do enjoy him a lot.

There are other episodes where I do situationally dislike him, and it's largely because the narrative usually takes BJ's side and validates him even when he's wrong, usually for the purpose of taking Hawkeye down a peg whether he deserves it or not. No matter how BJ behaves, the show never stops treating him as "the good guy" while Hawkeye is "the naughty one" in comparison and that's a dynamic that's always going to make me defensive of the naughty one.

Also I find his entire style from season 7 on fugly as hell. Especially the mustache, but not only the mustache. His haircut is a disaster and I hate most of his outfits, including the pink shirt. You wouldn't think this would matter but, well, I have a quirk about this. I struggle with certain seasons of The West Wing because the characters are styled in a way that's so viscerally ugly to me. I was devastated when The X-Files shifted to more early 2000s styles that I hated. I don't have this problem with real people but with TV characters... it's an issue, lol. I don't enjoy looking at him! Maybe I'm just too gay, who knows.

Ken Levine, one of the former head writers, admitted on his blog that he never thought they gave BJ the writing he deserved, and I think it shows. He's kind of all over the place.

The things I do like about BJ are not the things most of the fandom likes about BJ. He's an icon of midcentury Americana and I'm a freak for that period of history (it's so weird and fascinating to me) so I find a lot of potential in that. But he's more of a symbol than a blorbo. Then again, I've written more than one fic that's at least partially about him, so clearly there's something there! Like I said, I just like everyone else on the show more.

initial thoughts: it feels literally just like a sports bra. it definitely is doing something though. or at least it’s more flattening than the sports bras i own. no comparison pics because i don’t wanna but it is. i think probably a full length binder would do more but this one was on sale so it’s the one i got! i think also squeezing my boobs towards my armpits would also probably get it flatter but it looked weird for the no-shirt pics so i didn’t do it. but normally i will be wearing a shirt so it’ll be okay lol.

also i did end up getting it from gc2b despite the talk of recent quality issues so hopefully it’ll hold up okay. supposedly they’re fixing the issues but also this one was from the clear-out sale of the old stock so i guess there’s still a risk that it’ll fall apart
