Thinking about how Twilight Arbor is like a loyalty mission for Caithe, not because you make any decisions or pick what happens but because it's implied, through dialogue and what happens in there, that Caithe would have absolutely followed Faolain and fallen to Nightmare if you weren't there with her. If Caithe had been truly alone in there she would not have made it back out.

Okay, GW2 story stuff, you know how it feels like Caithe was kind of screwed by the writing towards the end of her involvement (particularly her role with Aurene)?

My gf and I had some silly ideas while chatting, so crack theory time (SOTO spoilers for those who haven't gotten through it yet)

1. After the end of SOTO, the non-Eparch-affiliated Kryptis are able to roam Tyria freely.

2. Peitha decides to investigate further into why exactly Tyria's air tastes so delicious.

3. Turns out it's because dragons. Peitha wonders if that could be applied to Nayos as well.

4. Since Aurene's asleep, Caithe makes arrangements to meet with Peitha on her behalf, thus giving her status as Voice of Aurene an actual purpose again.

5. We know from prior experience that Caithe has a thing for manipulative bad girls.

6. The Paithe ship sails and the Kryptal Bloom are established.🎉

Maybe Nayos "the Realm of Dreams" and the Sylvari Dream are even related somehow.
