Wen Kexing getting marked. This is an old interpretation of WKX getting tattooed in the GV, as in TYK Ghosts do bear the mark of the valley. I have, in the meantime, learned/thought a lot more about the valley, about WKX's journey and evolution in it, about the tattoos themselves -which seem to be earned at some point. Thus, my current conception of what this scene should look like has changed a bit, but I haven't yet had the occasion to represent that.

In my new idea, WKX would be younger, that GVM hand on his head wouldn't be there, and he wouldn't have whip wounds on his back -that was very much an SHL influence. I think WKX's expression would be slightly different, too. I'm still very happy with the atmosphere and execution, and for what it is, feel like it would be a nice SHL fanart if the tattoos were considered as part of the SHL lore too. Here is a little research made on the positioning and design of the tattoo, that I used for a poll on twitter to elect the most best version. Design 1 in 2nd position was elected.

Because fanart reminded me of how much I love them actually I'm adding another band to my SP battle of the bands AU.

Bebe and Wendy- You know girl in red and beach bunny? Penelope Scott perhaps? Their music is in fact the love child of them actually. Yup. They both play their respective guitars and sing into a singular mic. They take turns writing songs because they believe in a little something called even work load and contribution.

Additionally Names of the bands go as follows (beta possible to change):

Brownie Battered- Henrietta, Micheal, Tweek, Craig.

Bakers with a punch. Their main composer is a baker and given he's not exactly the outgoing guy this is the band's way of showing their appreciation.

Wankcry/"Pretentious"- Kyle, Stan, Clyde, Tolkien.

Also called "Pretentious" because people see them as pretentious assholes which they responded to with a song named "pretentious" and it stuck to them to the point they are basically known as it as a band.

whn lf gvs u lmns - Butters and Dougie.

An homage to Lemon Demon, their inspiration and teacher to the dos and donts of music. Additionally they both believe life has given them plenty of lemons and music has given them a healthy outlet to plug those lemons into.

Prietenul Morții - Kenny

Named fittingly to a rough translation of death's friend. He dies quite often and as music is an outlet Kenny uses it to make vents about his traumas that people often view as funky little numbers full of metaphors instead of real life experiences.

roses have thorns - Bebe and Wendy

Picked to allude towards the strength in things that are pretty and shouldn't be underestimated. A warning and reminder. They use their music to bring important issues and opinions to their audience's attention.
