summary- your best friend seokmin told you not to mess around with minghao. even if it was only one time. now you’re avoiding minghao and all the feelings he gives you. when jun invites you to his halloween party how can you avoid minghao when he’s jun’s best friend. it’ll hopefully be fine. wrong!!

you couldn’t have asked the universe for a better best friend. seokmin was so sweet to you and would drop anything if that meant you needed him. he knows you like the back of his hand. he is the best friend anyone would love to have. you appreciate him and all of his kind gestures. he would walk you to class and walk you home. he would grab you food and get you snacks without expecting anything in return. you were happy to be living with seokmin. the only con about seokmin was his friends.

not that you didn’t like them or anything they were great. you loved seokmins friends. just not who they bring over sometimes. which is fine you and seokmin live in a shared dorm so it is his space too. the first day you met minghao you told seokmin immediately after that he was cute and asked if he single.

seokmin seemed uncomfortable with your question. “yes he is single. but that is because he chooses to be. he has a lot of people interested in him. he doesn’t necessarily choose one..” he says kinda sounding uneasy. “okay thats fine he’s literally so hot i’d fuck.” he shakes his head. “i don’t think thats a good idea.” you ignored him. you shouldn’t have but you did.

you got with minghao the next week. he fucked you at his house and paying no attention to you ever again. you kinda expected that but what you didn’t expect was to never stop thinking about him. you would do anything to stop yourself from thinking about him. how could you? hes seokmins friend and he is always invited over to the hangouts at the dorm. minghao never saying a word to you other than a quick greeting when he arrives with the others. you tried not to let this hurt your feelings. you don’t know why you cared as much as you did. seokmin told you multiple times that it was a bad idea. you fucked yourself over. feelings were never supposed to be involved. but they always get involved with you. you fall quickly and for the wrong people.

if you would’ve just listened to seokmin you wouldn’t be crying in your room while him and all his friends are downstairs drinking. you don’t even know why you were sobbing in bed at 7:30pm when you could easily be drinking.

hearing a knock on your door. “y/n you gonna come down? i miss you.” you hear seokmim say thru the door. “i-i think im gonna pass tonight seok. im not feeling good.” you say trying to sound as normal as possible through your tears. “are you okay? can i come in?” he says a little louder through the door. “no!!! its okay seokmin i think im just gonna sleep it off. go have fun!!.” he sighs and says okay before heading back downstairs.

this occurred every time the guys would hangout at your dorm. you would have an excuse not to hangout with them. like “oh no i have homework.” “can’t i have work.” “going over to my friends tonight.” seokmin caught on pretty quick. he is not stupid and his is your best friend after all. so he stopped having the guys come to your dorm so much. wanting you to get the space and time you need. he would always go to their place. never forgetting to invite you of course.

always politely declining telling seokmin you’ll see him when he gets home. seokmin asks if the guys can come over later saying that minghao wouldn’t be there. giving you a feeling of relief you agree quickly and watch as he leaves for the day. you’re expecting them to come later in the night so you buy yourself sometime to get ready and cook some dinner. not paying attention to the short shorts and tank top you’re wearing without a bra. you’re in your dorm why wouldn’t you be comfortable.

not checking to see that seokmin sent you a text saying he would be home early with minghao included with the rest of the guys. you continue to cook your food sitting down to eat as the front door opens. you immediately see him cursing at yourself forgetting what you’re wearing and what you’re listening to. quickly turning it off. greeting all of the boys that came over. getting up to hug seokmin. he hugs you back quickly whispering to you “i’m sorry i sent you a text saying he was gonna come late but he showed up with jun i hope it’ll be okay.” you nod smiling at seokmin. “it’s okay i can just go up to my room.” he shakes his head. “please don’t i want to hangout with you too i don’t want to have to choose. come onnn vernon brought over some weed. come on lets smoke a little and then you can decide if you want to leave.”

you sigh before deciding you didn’t want to watch love island in your room alone right now and follow seokmin into the living room. “y/n is joining us tonight boys.” you hear him say smiling before sitting in between vernon and soonyoung. “damn im surprised you never want to hangout with us.” vernon says side hugging you slightly. “not true im just- busy.” you hope they believe your terrible lie knowing that you are not busy at all. very much the opposite. watching the other three boys pass the joint slowly making its way to you. you take a couple hits catching a few glances from minghao. you choose to ignore him as a whole like he does to you. “what about tmr? you coming to my halloween party?” you hear jun say causing all the boys to look at you waiting for your answer. “u-uh maybe we’ll have to see. i don’t even have a costume.” you quickly look at seokmin who is just listening to you. “just be like a cat or something.” minghao blurts out. “how original thank you minghao.” you say sarcastically not even looking his way. “just a suggestion.” he says going back to look at his phone. you roll your eyes taking a couple more hits of the joint before turning on the movie for the night.

you enjoyed hanging out with them tonight. the extra company is nice and you always enjoyed smoking with them. they are pretty funny while high. waving them goodbye as they are leaving around midnight after seokmin ordered them a uber each of them too high to drive. heading up to your room to lay down. hearing a slight knock on your door. “are you going to sleep? do you want to cuddle?” you hear seokmin ask quickly getting up to let him into your room. “of course.” you pull him into your room and lay in your bed laying down with him in your arms. “can i sleep here i don’t wanna get up.” he laughs and pulls you closer. “mhm.” you respond falling asleep in his arms. him falling asleep shortly after you.

the next day consisted of seokmin taking you shopping to get a costume for juns party. you have decided to go with a pirate to match seokmin. arriving back at home a little bit before 5pm. you finish getting ready 30 mins after hoping into the shower. “seokmin what do we think?” you ask walking into the living room where he’s waiting for you. he looks at you up and down. “okay im not trying to be weird or anything but you look really fucking hot.” he doesn’t take his eyes off you. “its not weird seok i don’t mind but are you serious does it look good?” he nods “if you weren’t my best friend-“ you cut him off “okay thats enough you pervert lets go.” he laughs at you and grabs his keys and your hand heading to his car. “okay are we going straight to juns?” seokmin nods starting the car. making your way to juns.

arriving 15 mins later. “okay!!! we need to set some rules.” seokmin says turning to look at you. “rules? seokmin why do i need rules.” he laughs “the only rule is you can’t leave me.” he says getting out of the car after you. “okay deal.” you guys head into juns house looking around knowing little to no one.

this is gonna be a long night. you thought to yourself making your way over with seokmin to greet your friends. “guys!!! im so happy you made it.” jun pulls you both into a hug. “most of the guys are outside by the pool or probably getting a drink. ill let them know you’re here.” you smile at jun. minghao walking up with vernon to you three shortly after the encounter. “wassup guys. dang y/n your costume looks very good.” vernon say slightly eyeing you receiving a mental glare from minghao and a real glare from seokmin. “and she is off limits okay. you guys have hurt her enough.” seokmin doesn’t know why he said this receiving a weird look from minghao. “uh im gonna go find soonyoung.” minghao says quickly walking off. “sorry.” seokmin whispers to you then going back to talking to jun.

the night feels like a blur. not because you’re intoxicated. you’re in fact very sober. sober to the point where seokmins screaming the music is making your head hurt. “seok im getting some fresh air.” he nods not paying anymore attention to you as you walk through the crowd. one things you didn’t want to see is minghao tongue deep in one of your friends mouth. not even paying attention to anyone else around them. you know you shouldn’t be watching this but it’s hard to look away. you don’t know how or why but not you were full on sobbing. you push your way out of the house to the front lawn. you sigh hearing someone call out your name. “y/n! what are you doing outside? its fucking cold.” minghao says coming to sit next to you. “what do you want?” he laughs “what’s wrong? you seem upset.” you look at him intensely trying not to burst into tears again. “minghao can’t you just leave me alone? go back to getting drunk and fucking random girls.” you say looking away from him. “actually im not drinking tonight. im perfectly sober.” he says getting up and walking away without another word. leaving you with your thoughts.

20 mins later you finally decide you should probably go back inside. walking in eyes immediately looking for minghao. seeing him being led into one of the rooms by a different girl. you scoff immediately heading to get a strong drink. you take a couple shots and get your drink searching for seokmin now being stopped my soonyoung. “if you’re looking for seokmin im pretty sure he’s fucking a girl.” he says casually smiling at you. “oh thanks. when you see him will you tell him i walked home?”

“wait ur leaving? how come its only 10:30.” he says looking confused. “i just am not feeling great actually. so ill be leaving now bye soonyoung!” you wave quickly before walking out of juns house. starting your drunk journey home. it was a long but much needed walk. you have cried the whole way home.

how am i sitting here drunk still think about him. he is fucking sober and im not in a single thought in his mind. you think to yourself using your keys to open your front door. quickly heading to the bathroom for a much needed bath. locking the bathroom door behind you.

it is has been 20 mins of you sitting in your bath tub listening to your music quietly. still slightly drunk. you have decided you were in the bathroom long enough. just wanting to sleep. quickly getting ready for bed. “i really hope seokmin doesn’t come home all loud.” you think out loud before climbing in your bed at instantly falling asleep.

you wake up feeling like absolute shit. only remembering seeing minghao with those girls. its all thats been on your mind. he is all that is ever on your mind. you really wish he wasn’t. all you can do is sit and think about him with others. he wasn’t even drunk. he just doesn’t care. it is too early for you to be crying over this. you sigh getting out of bed to brush your teeth shortly after heading to the kitchen for water. immediately heading back to your room not even looking for seokmin.

your phone vibrating when you get back into your room.

seok💖- hey u ok? soonyoung said you went home early. i stayed over here over night. ill be home in a few ok<3

you- yup im great. and its fine no rush

you turn off your phone crawling into your bed immediately falling back asleep for a couple more hours. waking up slightly hearing the front door open downstairs. getting up to see him. “seok??” “yea its me.” you hear him come into your room beating you on your way out. “hi missed you.” you say giving him a hug. “i missed you too. you okay? you seem off.” he says taking in your exhausted appearance. “just didn’t have much fun last night.” you try to lie to him but you know he will get you to tell him anyways so might as well tell him whats wrong. “you sure?” he says moving some hair out of your face. “u-uh actually its minghao.” his expressions shifts to a more serious one. “what the fuck did he do this time? im gonna kill him.” he says sitting both of you onto your bed. “he didn’t necessarily do anything. im just fucking in love with him and he doesn’t even bat an eye at me. when i went to get some air he followed me out and talked to me for a bit and i told him that he should go back to drinking and kissing whatever girl he was kissing. he walked off and then i saw him with another girl when i was looking for you.” he sighs “y/n im so sorry you had to watch him with two girls i know that must’ve hurt. is there anything i can do to make you feel better?” he rubs your shoulder kissing your forehead sweetly. “no no its ok seok im just glad you’re here.” you smile at him “but enough about me!!! soonyoung said you were with a girl last night um hello tell me the details!!!” you say pushing him playfully.

“shes in my theater class. her name is iya and i think im gonna ask her to be my girlfriend. last night was actually crazy. i have never had my dick sucked so good.” he laughs

“okay first of all! cute i like iya shes nice and let me help you plan a way to ask her!!! last part was not needed but thanks for teling me.” you laugh with him. “i really like her. she slept over with me but i had to leave early to check in on you.” you scoff. “seok what the fuck why would u leave her for me rn you know im just fine rotting in my room. you better go back and hangout with her or i will kill you.” you say pulling him from your bed pushing him out of your room. “okay okay fine! you sure you’ll be ok here all alone?” you nod quickly pushing him more. “go go!” he laughs walking downstairs waving before leaving the house again. you smile walking back to your room turning on a show to pass the time.

you were so invested in love island that you didn’t even realize minghao has sent you a text. which is weird because he never texts you or talks to you at all.

minghao- hey are you home?

you- um yes why?

minghao- can i come over?

you are panicking. why would minghao want to come over? you swear if he wants another quick fuck then to blow you off again you’re not having it.

you- look im not in the mood for sex right now especially not with you.

minghao- uh ok. i was asking because i wanted to talk to you about something. if you don’t feel like it thats ok

laying in bed after a long day with your boyfriend is just calm and nice. but you wanted attention so you were gonna get attention.

you simply climbed into your boyfriends lap while he was laying down, not paying any attention to you might you add.

you were merely laying next to him attempting to watch his tiktok along with him, but every time you leaned in a little closer he would pull away.

you rolled your eyes, finally deciding you had to take things into your own hands. and swung your leg over his waist, grabbed his phone from his hands and tossed it to the side.

‘what are you doing.’

sunghoon asks, with no interest, no blush, literally no emotion. he never reacted like this. maybe he was just in a bad mood. maybe you can make it go away!!

‘i want attention, hoonie’

you say with a small, but very noticeable pout. he continues to look at you with a blank expression. so you lean down and start placing little pecks on his face.

‘ahg-ngh, stop!!’

his voice gets stronger in saying those words. your eyes go wide as he looks straight at you, telling you he meant it. you gaze falls down to your hands that were now placed on his chest.

‘leave me alone. and get off me, i’m not a chair.’

you start to feel pricking at your eyes, but you decide to hold them back in case it would make him more mad.

you sat down on the bed next to him and watched as he turned around, back facing you. his tiktok was simply some guy pranking people. damn. that hurts.

you swing your legs to the side of the bed, standing up and walking towards the door. you don’t look back at him in fear of the tears starting to fall right then and there.

sunghoon opens his mouth slightly, about to say something, but then the door shuts quietly. you walked into the empty living room and towards the door.

when you heard the door to sunghoons’s bedroom open once again you started walking faster.

‘b-baby wait!!’

he yells quietly, in respect for the neighbors. all you wanted to do was get out of there and cry at home rather then let him watch you in annoyance.

you make your way out of his household, but sadly his legs are longer than yours and he quickly catches you in a big back hug.

‘please don’t leave.’

sunghoon says almost in a whisper.

‘you said you wanted me to leave you alone so i will.’

you say childishly coming back at him with his own words. he squeezes you a little tighter than before, his hands coming down to your hips, strong arms still encircled around your waist.

‘i’m sorry. i was just in a bad mood. please come back.’

‘no.’

‘no?? but i said sorry??’

‘too bad. i’m still mad at you.’

he smiles slightly before turning you around, still holding you and bending down to your eye level.

‘no your not’

‘yes i am!’

you say, expression getting more and more flustered. god, by now you must look like a tomato!!

‘ok then. guess i have to take matters into my own hands.’

his arms go down and suddenly you hauled over his shoulder. you scream in suppries and start calling his name asking him to put you down.

‘yea no. you’re mine now.’

he walks into his apartment and plops you down on the couch. his arms go on each side of your head and knees on each side of your body.

his smirk still survives and your face has somehow changed into a frightened look. but not for long until it changes into a smirk of your own.

‘neighbors are gonna think there’s a kidnapper in the building.’

you say, gaze tracking down to his lips and arms circling around his neck to pull his in closer. he hums in agreement, although probably just agreeing so he could kiss you.

his soft lips meet yours in a sweet chaste kiss. you pull away, but not before leaving a small peck on his pretty nose.

‘i think i fell for my kidnapper.’

‘hey, im not complaining.’

It wasn’t everyday that Donnie thought of something he wasn’t good at. But lately he noticed a reoccurring problem. He was more than good at math, science, technology, engineering, (all self-taught btw) and not to mention he had great qualities like being responsible, intelligent, and honest.. most of the time!

But seriously! It was becoming quite obvious that he couldn’t carry a sentence when you were around. He was lacking in the social skills area, if you weren’t asking him for the wifi password or a yes or no question, he’d have a hard time finding the words. His brain would short circuit like it was a literal machine and he’d have to give nonverbal cues or depend on his brothers to pick up his slack.

What frustrated him the most was he had practiced last time! Yes, he had a heads up on when you were coming next, and practiced for days on what you could possibly ask, and he made a spreadsheet for all the responses he would need. It seemed he had poorly guessed what you would talk about, because that day you’d had some issues with a boy to which fried up Dee’s brain completely. He wanted to just throw his brain in the trash like he would with any piece of tech that was destroyed beyond repair.

After you had left that day, he had rushed to his lab. He groaned tearing up his spreadsheet into little pieces and quickly throwing them all into the trash. There that was metaphorically his brain, ripped to shreds and thrown away. He slumped into his swivel chair, dramatically putting his head down, hiding his face from view, arms shielding himself in. You were so nice about it too. You never made him feel weird, or awkward. You’d just smile warmly, like you knew he was trying his best. Which only made him try that much harder, which then led to him failing miserably. He huffed not seeing a clear solution in sight.

“Knock knock,” Mikey chirped from outside the lab. Donnie banged his head once on the table underneath him and then sat up. “Its open,” Mikey scampered in, “heyy Don, wanna do something?” Donnie swiveled in his chair to turn and face his younger brother. Giving him a questionable look so Mikey continued. “Well I was texting Y/n, and they wanna go to this Comic-Con thingy” Donnie’s mouth dropped open. You were interested in that? He wondered if you were going to dress up? “You don’t remember? They were talking about it today but that guy had bailed or something,” Mikey shrugged because he hadn’t really been listening all that much.

Classic Mikey, but Donnie couldn’t believe he had zoned out for that part of the conversation! He would’ve readily volunteered to go with you! But as soon as you had mentioned the other guy… well everyone knows, Donnie clammed up and stopped talking or thinking altogether! He sighed and Mikey looked at his brother, “what’s wrong Donnie? You don’t wanna go??” Now Donnie’s eyebrows were raising, “Mikey what are you talking about they texted you, not me.” He said that with little enthusiasm as he was more than a little jealous but understood why. You probably thought he had ignored you all day…well he kinda had.. unintentionally!

“But I told them that I couldn’t go and that you were already going!” Donnie’s eyes widened, “you said what?!” Mikey re-explained, “I said ‘I’m not going but Donnie already has a ticket, I’m sure you guys can go together’ and then I hit send.” Donnie blinked at his younger brother. “I have a ticket???” Mikey held up a ticket, “now you do!” he was smiling wickedly at his older brother now and Donnie saw it all connect. Mikey was setting him up, on purpose. “But, with them by myself?” Donnie started having self doubts. What if you had no fun with just him there? What if it became awkward? What if he couldn’t say anything?! “Donnie you gotta relax,” Mikey took in a deep breath and then released, motioning his hands at his purple clad brother for him to follow suit. So Donnie did, and as he took deep breaths his fear cleared.

“Feel better?” Mikey smiled brightly, and Donnie smirked, “yeah okay thanks little brother I’ll do my best,” Mikey fist bumped the air, “Alright! Mission set-up is a go!” He was skipping all the way out of the lab. Donnie’s immediate thought was to start making another spreadsheet. But as he looked down at the trash can he knew that wasn’t going to work. What he needed to do was text you. Which he found to be significantly easier to do than talk, it allowed him to get his thoughts out and rethink if need be.

‘Hey Y/n it’s Donatello, Mikey told me you were going to cc?’ -Dee👾

‘Hey! Yes I am, would you like to go together?’ -you ✨

‘sounds good to me, sorry i hadn’t really thought about asking when you were here..’ -Dee👾

At this message Donnie almost threw his phone across the lab. Instead he gently placed it on the table and took a lap. He couldn’t look, it was so cheesy, but that’s how he truly felt! AGH! He hoped you took it the right way, he hoped it wasn’t weird, he hoped he hoped he hoped!

‘aww! i feel the same way Donnie! I can’t wait, we’re gonna have so much fun c:’ -you ✨

“Yes!” Donnie said aloud, spinning around and around in his chair as he read and reread your message. You were so cute. Your messages made him feel all funny inside. He stopped spinning and got serious, ready to message you back.

‘i have marked my calendar! are you planning on cosplaying? or do you have certain places you were interested in checking out?’ -Dee 👾

‘so this’ll be my first time! should I dress up?’ -you✨

Donnie felt a little pressure. This was your first comic con and you were going with him?! It felt really special suddenly, even more special than his initial reaction. He wanted you to have the best time because in his humble opinion, comic con was a really fun time and it was one of the few places that a teenage mutant ninja turtle could go to and somehow fit in!

‘well since it’s your first time I recommend doing it all. Dressing up is part of the fun, do you have any characters in mind?’ Dee 👾

The two of you texted nonstop that night. Mikey had returned just before bed to check in and left the lab with a satisfied smile on his face. “They’re totally hitting it off!” He said to Leo who couldn’t help a cheshire grin, “what’d I tell ya! they both like each other but are soooo shy it hurts” Leo had recruited Mikey on his master plan to get you and his twin brother actually talking. “So what’s next on the master plan??” Mikey said jumping up and down with excitement, “Now” Leo said, “we wait!” And he resumed reading his Jupiter Jim comic. “Boringggg!” Mikey booed, shoulders slumping. “Our work will pay off dear brother, don’t you worry,” Leo said with so much confidence that Mikey knew it must be true.

[7 months later]

“Okay they may need more of a push,” Leo admitted. Mikey pulled on his bandana ends, “ya think?!”

The comic con date had went smoothly. The two of you had a blast and Donnie kept the picture the both of you had taken on his bedside. You were definitely closer to Donnie and he to you, yet nothing progressed past the friendship. Donnie was just happy to be able to talk to you normally, that had been a big step to him. So he didn’t want to push his luck any further. Every time the two of you were in the same room he’d be on cloud nine, though it wasn’t exactly written on his face. So if he felt that way just by proximity, just imagine how he felt when you spoke to him. Over the moon, up into the stars and way high in the galaxy. That’s how he felt. It was a regular movie night at the lair, everyone present, April sat on the far end, then you, then Donnie, then Raph. All on the couch. While Mikey and Leo occupied bean bags on the floor.

Leo and Mikey had been whispering the entire Lou Jitsu movie. Donnie twitched with aggravation every time you looked down and noticed his two idiotic brothers who would not stop talking! For Galileo’s sake it was one of Mikey’s favorites and Leo had freaking picked it out. Donnie wanted to yank at their bandanas but with you sitting right next to him, you’d definitely notice and he didn’t want that. No he’d suffer through ten more movies like this one if he had to. Raph had the remote and paused, “restroom break!” He announced with a surprising amount of dignity as he left the living room. Donnie looked over at you, and you turned facing him. He smiled and immediately looked away. Gosh you were so cute.

“Hey, Y/n” Leo said tapping on your knees with one of his fingers, “yes?” you said looking down at his twin. “Could you do me a favor?” Leo smiled charmingly and Donnie’s face twisted, rolling his eyes. “Depends..” you grinned back. Was this what flirting looked like? The thought came and went and slapped Donnie in the face. Where had that come from?! Was it because Leo was touching you and he never touched you before? Or was it because you had graced his brother with a smile? Or was it the combination of those things?? “Can you walk me to my room, I think I’m done with the movie” and that had Donnie glaring. It made no sense at all as to why you would do that and why Leo would even ask. He was up to something devious Donnie just knew it. “Uh?” You looked over at April who was holding back a laugh, “walk you to your room?” You questioned seeing just how ridiculous the request was. “Yeah I’ve gotta show you something before ya head back up,” and as Leo talked he rose to his feet, seemingly serious about this whole ordeal. Not laughing and saying just kidding like Donnie had hoped.

“Really Leo?” Donnie gritted out. Leo looked over at his twin, “what?” He smiled smugly. “What’re you doing??” The purple clad turtle seethed. “Just trying to show my friend something,” Leo emphasized the word friend dramatically. “C’mon” he reached out and grabbed your hand, half dragging you behind him. You were sputtering looking back to Donnie and that had him up on his feet. “Leo stop it.” He said and immediately his brother let go of your hand. “Oh sorry, I got a little carried away huh?” He smiled but didn’t look sorry at all. And when he leaned down towards your ear, and Donnie watched as you flushed, he had had enough!

He rushed forward, grabbing your hand and wordlessly pulled you out of the living room, into his lab and bolted the door shut. He hadn’t let go of your hand the entire time, it really wasn’t on his mind actually. What was, was Leo leaning down, getting wayyy too close and your reaction! It had him dropping your hand and he couldn’t even turn to face you. Why had he just dragged you here? “Donnie?” you whispered cautiously. “Do you like him?” He might as well get it over with. Rip the bandaid off the wound. “What?!” You exclaimed and Donnie finally turned to face you. “Do you like Leo?” Each word being raised with his voice until he was shouting his brothers name. “No!” You shouted back defensively, crossing your arms.

“Sure looked like it,” he muttered. And you flushed embarrassed again, but it wasn’t the feel-y good kind, it was the angry kind. “Believe what you want Donatello, I’m telling you no.” You huffed and tried to push past him to leave. He stood in your way. “Move Donnie!” You said exasperated until your hands shot out reaching for the bolt to unlock the door and he moved in front of it. Your hands landing on his plastron and he stiffened. You flushed again, “sorry” you muttered knowing he didn’t like to be touched but still being too angry to feel badly. He had done it to himself anyways.

“Y/n,” Donnie started and then stopped. Hands going up and then falling back down. It was returning, he couldn’t think of any words! He felt helpless and it was so overwhelming that it showed on his face. Your guard went down swiftly, “hey I’m really sorry Donnie, I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable,”

and that was what he had been trying to think of, been trying to say. He smiled weakly, “that’s what I wanted to tell you.. but sometimes it’s hard to think of the right words,” he blew out a breath. “happens to us all,” you reassured him. And you nodded. “Yes you Othello Von Ryan,” and it was his turn for his skin to darken. “Oh,” was the only word that would come out, and you giggled. He laughed too and quickly said, “I like you too!” finally finding the words. “I’d been hoping so,” and the smile you graced him with was beauty beyond compare. He swooned, and couldn’t believe what was happening. It was like every secret longing that he had hoped for and kept stowed away in his heart was finally set free.

“Y/n, I like you a lot,” he gushed unable to stop the flood of emotions. “Donnie you’re gonna turn me into a tomato!” You said hiding your face in your hands because you could just feel how hot your face felt. “I think you look absolutely adorable,” and the compliment only made you blush deeper! “Donnie!” And he laughed happily, slowly taking your hands away from your face and finding the courage to go even a step further. He placed a chaste kiss to your knuckles, “I mean it Y/n.” He spoke seriously with his handsome smile. “Me too,” you confirmed and the moment couldn’t be anymore perfect.

“I KNEW IT!” Mikey called out from behind the lab door. “No, I think I called it from the beginning,” Leo’s voice could be heard farther away. “Don’t you guys act like I didn’t tip you off to begin with!” April hollered for her credit.

His sweet, shy girlfriend wouldn’t throw herself on him this way, so it’s easy for him to tell when not to act on urges.

Soobin

He wouldn’t catch it at first, the way you felt up and down his arm and chest while he held you in his arms. It’s not til you’re literally humping at his thigh that he has to pull you off and take you home. “Soobin please~” You whine and beg but Soobin has already come to the conclusion that you were going to eat a lot and get a lot of fluids in you until you were sober enough to hold yourself together. “Let’s get you right, then maybe I’ll let you.” He would tell you, convincing you each time to take that swig of water or that bite of pizza he heated up for you. And once you were sober enough to stand properly he would run you a nice bath, make sure his baby is clean before helping you into bed and making sure you’re warm enough to sleep.

Beomgyu

Oh man, poor Beomgyu has to hold you away from his body, you have gotten way too drunk and have made it your sworn duty to get into his pants tonight. “Lemme just hold your hand gyu” You’d pout as he avoided your advances. “Absolutely not. I love you but no.” He’d deadpan, a form a guilt that rises when you begin to tear up, so drunk you can't help but feel your heart crack at the rejection. “Oh god please don't cry” Beomgyu would try his hardest to stay away in the moment but when your small whimpers turn into sobs, he’s holding you, making sure you can't do anything you’ll regret but also attempting to stop you from sobbing. Beomgyu would have to figure it out himself this time when taking care of you, you were usually buzzed or tipsy, able to dress, shower, and take headache medicine on your own, but this time, Beomgyu had to do it all for you, giving you tiny kisses to make up for the lack of physical attention you begged for while he did so.

Taehyun

When I say Taehyun was not having it with your clinginess, that's an understatement. Your drunk and clingy behavior had him constantly rolling his eyes and pulling you off him, telling you multiple times that you were drunk and that whatever you wanted from him wouldn't happen, that only made you whine and cling more however, “God Y/N, I’m not fucking my drunk girlfriend.” He’d say multiple times, and multiple “I’m not even drunk!” comebacks would come back to him before he was dragging you home and forcing you to stay in bed before you went to sleep. Taehyun loved you, but he had no patience for your drunk personality which would only cause trouble for you and him in his eyes.

Hueningkai

Kai is an angel, letting you cling onto him and whisper sweet nothings into his ear while he rubbed your back. He knew you were drunk, wanted a lot more than your back rubbed but Kai also knew better, he’d give you taught smiles and giggles before taking you home to take care of you, every time you’d whine for him to take care of you in other ways he’d shut you down with the happiest smile, telling you “maybe if you drink some water!” or even “Sober up a bit and we’ll see how you feel about it.” It was always enough to convince you yet the moment you sobered up a bit, all you wanted to do was go to sleep, your headache way too painful. And of course Hueningkai agreed, cuddling you throughout the night and taking care of you the next morning.

I finished acotar a while ago and I was gonna write a review right away but then christmas happened and I was pretty busy and wanted to enjoy myself so youre getting like two weeks late

It was fine, I really didnt have any strong feelings about the book itself. Like, my main complaints are that it was pretty boring and directionless for most of it and stuff thats mainly related to the next books, if I just look at it as a standalone I would describe it as "not for me, but not that bad"

That is, until we get to Under The Mountain, where everything just gets really stupid and convoluted. That whole section, which is a solid fourth or fifth of the whole book, severely clashes with the sweet fairytale romance that came before it. It reminds me of how all those twilight-knockoff trilogies in the 2010s would have two pretty low-stakes books worth of basically only romance with some weird magic sprinkled on top, and then in the last book it would turn out that the protagonist and her beloved need to Go To War or the world will end except even worse (also now that I think about it, the first three acotar books also seem to be structed like that, so youre getting two shitty plot structures in one. yayyyyyyy)

There was literally no reason for all of that happen, it was honestly just unpleasant reading about Feyre, who had spent the book recovering from her trauma in a way that was genuinely pretty nice to read about, being tortured for three months until she was feeling worse than she ever had before. And some people might say "oh, thats the point, its meant to be tragic" but it didnt feel like tragedy, it just felt tonally dissonant. Also, the entire ending was so weird and dragged out, like that bit where she and Tamlin are staying one last night UTM for some reason and then she talks to Rhysand before they finally leave and its like, BRO dont stay in the Palace of Torments for any longer than you have to, just leave through that portal-tunnel thing

Speaking of Rhysand, he wasnt that bad in this book but Im sure my opinion on him will change. The main thing that sticks out about him is how sjm simply could not resist ALREADY explaining all of his motivations and portraying him as someone whos obviously so noble, despite all the obviously horrific and completely unecessary shit hes doing. Like, theres that scene where Rhysand crushes that guy's brain when Amarantha ordered him to crush his mind and the narration goes "that was actually an act of mercy from Rhysand" ??? that mightve worked better in third person limited where youre working without the implication that the prose is the pov character's actual thoughts, but since its first person and meant to be Feyre's thoughts I was just like "why is she thinking that when she should be thinking 'holy fucking shit, i just signed my life over to a guy who could squish my mind like a grape if he wanted to?!?!?!!'"

Also, theres that scene where Rhysand comes into Feyres cell to "escape from it all" or whatever and he basically monologues to her about his sympathetic motivations and I just. sarah, girlie, you shouldve saved this shit for the second book. Like, rewrite the scene so that he just comes in eithout a word, hes totally unresponsive to Feyre insulting him or trying to ask him what hes doing here, he just sits down in the corner, knees pulled to his chest, he mutters something vague about just wanting to be left alone, maybe he's even got tears in his idk. I think that would be a far more effective way to have him be sympathetic in a more subtle way than just having him monologue his tragic circumstances and noble intentions at Feyre

Thats about it so far, I'll probably start reading ACOMAF in january when winter break is over and I can read it on the bus and in class again

I know im late to post my first louis concert experience but i just really wanted to share this so here it is <3

The journey to the venue was pretty uneventful, when we got off the subway a man who worked there asked us if we’re going to the “Tomlinson concert” and gave us directions. On the bus we saw a bunch of really young fans, one of them was wearing a 0neDee shirt and i gave them a dirty look and idc if they were like 10 it felt good! Later on one of them asked if we want to be in their tiktok and wear heart shaped sunglasses… we rejected them so fast lol. So we got off the bus and walked till we saw the venue, screamed a bit, continued walking to the entrance, got past the security and then walked around without a purpose and got something to eat. In the meantime i worked on my sign. We made the mistake of not getting water afterwards and just made our way into the venue. When we got inside the venue tho the second opening act started playing. They were meh. And then we just sat there for a long time doing nothing but staring sadly at the giant poll that would block our view of louis on stage UNTIL the band appeared on the stage and THE CROWD WENT WILDDD the scream they let out made my ears RING AND THEN LOUIS WAS THERE AND HE STARTED SINGING THE GREATEST AND my life felt complete!! My heart was beating so fast and i felt lightheaded i just!!! Couldn’t believe my eyes!! I started screaming the lyrics right away. He was captivating, ethereal, powerful and OWNED the stage!!

So!! I do not remember the order of the songs but everything was amazing, he started off strong and kept it up. He did sound a bit off a few times but im guessing it has to do with the fact that he was tired bc of the previous shows. Anyways!! He literally KILLED KMM I did not want that song to end I couldn’t get enough!! He sounded SOOO good during Bigger Than Me! He hit those notes and you could tell that it’s a song that needs to be played live. Holding On To Heartache was such a moment my god he ate that UP!! That was one of the highlights for me i was really really impressed with how he sounded, he put his soul into that song and it showed! Shed a few tears as well cuz that song just hit different yk.. he did sing two 0neD songs which.. I didn’t sing along to because I genuinely didn’t know the lyrics and wasn’t going to try and remember 😭 so those were kind of the moment i let myself have a break from screaming and jumping. During WAOYF u could just tell the energy in the venue shifted. People were LOUD. As loud as the other one d songs LIKE HE KNOWS WHAT HE DID TO ALL OF US WITH THAT TRACK HE JUST KNOWS. Hearing WMI for the first time was such an experience!! The best way to describe it was nostalgic and just really sweet idk i loved it. Ok. I know I’ve heard copy like a thousand times now but… you guys the recorded version is NOTHING compared to the live version. I could feel myself ascending into heaven with every word it was just beyond words. One of my favourite moments or perhaps THE favourite part of the show for me. WALLS WAS ALSO NOSTALGIC AND I GOT TO SCREAM “you were my because” at louis with my whole heart!!!! That was so so so special definitely one of the moments i will never forget. Lucky Again was literally perfect he again hit the notes and it was perfection. The song that surprised me the most when heard live was probably Angels Fly because he just did it sooo well and had full control over the song it was just such a nice tune to hear live also one of my favourites! .Face The Music is one of the songs that sounds amazing live!! And 505… someone else did inform me that he will cover it but nothing and i mean NOTHING could have prepared me for what i heard that day. I was ON MY KNEES READY TO PLEASE HE was just so hot!!! So effortlessly hot and sexy it was almost too much for my heart. I caught myself shouting “with your hands between MY thighs” … not my proudest moment 😵‍💫 the most shocking moment was back to you ofc. i was losing my marbles when it started playing i was head empty no thoughts except for “what the fuck is happening is this a new track????” And louis starts singing and i am STILL TOO OUT OF IT TO UNDERSTAND THAT ITS BACK TO YOU so my friend had to tell me what song it is and then i was having the best time of my life. I don’t know how he managed to alter it into a rock version so perfectly but it’s not a surprise, anything that louis is involved in is absolute perfection. Out Of My System my beloved!! Could not get enough of it one of my faves. All This Time was another moment that made me emotional because it showed how louis loved performing that songs and put his heart into it. Silver Tongues was also one of my favs and i really REALLY wanted to be closer to the stage at that moment to see his chaotic ass in action 😭. They gave away free monsters when we left and a group of embarrassing people were doing a * karaoke but that’s irrelevant. Overall it was a perfect night and !! i got to meet @berlinini and @bbrox 🫶🏼

This moid is the equivalent of “add nice tokens until sex comes out.” The fact he switched up so fast the second he thought you fucked someone else ⁉️ He was never a nice guy, he never liked you, he wanted to smash and that’s it. He doesn’t see you as a person, he sees you as something to be used and discarded- once he saw someone “used” it first, he moved directly to discarding. Use your head babe, he showed his true colors. xx luv ya

no no youre right but 😭 well it just sucks to have someone show their colors like this. part of what hurts is that it really was night and day, like a complete 180, and nobody notices but me and insists its just bc he got dumped when this started happening well before that…

ive been keeping my eye on him too. hes friendly with everyone. it feels like hes going out of his way to chat everyone up - and then when im talking to someone nearby he does his best to look away. yesterday i did something bad mannered without thinking about it (tore open a packet of aspirin, spat out a piece of it😭) and he came over and was like “why would you do that, that was disgusting and inappropriate.” he has never lectured me like that. and it was the first time he spoke to me in like days. i thought he was joking!

but that was not the worst. today it came to a head, i saw him smirking and i snapped. i asked to speak to him privately (after him initially ignoring me, with an “i guess… 🙄”) and we went to the back. he kept working while i was trying to speak to him, and when i moved in front of him, he could barely even look me in the eye and he had this big dumb nervous grin on his face, and kept laughing like “haha whats the problem? 😅” granted i kept him off guard and i honestly hadnt meant to, but still. i couldnt believe how rude he was being, even if he was nervous. he used to be so courteous!

i was angry and fighting back tears bc i would literally rather die than cry in front of a man like that, so i kept my voice as calm as i could be and was like “whats going on? i understand youre going through something hard rn, but it feels like somethings wrong between us and idk why.” he brushed it off again, still laughing and smiling, and i said “well youve been acting differently for weeks, and you only speak to me now just to lecture me.” he rambled some more bullshit, like “idk sometimes i just dont have anything to say.”

yeah, right. if theres not a problem, then who just has nothing to say to someone in a matter of a DAY?

i couldnt do anything with that and i was pretty upset, so i just told him id be here when he was ready to talk and made sure to stay away from him. then after weeping in the group chat, i was a huge mess, and then my other (male) but honestly sweet coworker saw and figured out what happened and comforted me..

okay so yeah. this is whats so upsetting. its not so much i miss our flirty dynamic - its that a coworker is pulling psychological petty high school bullshit over seemingly nothing - or worse, you and i are right, and hes icing me out for having a sex life! i feel like im going nuts!!!!

and omg neil <3 we love to see neil eating and being surrounded by the love and family he deserves <3 and im really loving aaron in this fic like ik he was an asshole in the books but u can also sorta understand it and i love how ur portraying him just like idk how to explain it but yas <3 i feel like hes always so overlooked and forgotten so im really glad that he has his moments here (esp love it when hes bickering w the other monsters so it feels so real i luv it)

I keep thinking that when I get around to properly writing this in not draft form (looking at you earlier chapters) I'm going to write some scenes from other character's POV (Grandma's whole 48 hours with the monsters from her POV and FF's POV as he talks to the nice FBI agent Iruma Matsumoto). Writing from Neil's POV inbetween helped me a lot in keeping this chapter from being too heavy. (Also snuck in a bit of the Neil & FF friendship)

Ichirou's POV and like turning the shit that FF WOULD SAY into stuff that Ichirou could misinterpret took me sooo long it's why the chapter came out so much later than I wanted it to (that and I spent most of my weekend building that link tree for the AUs)

Lol I just said this in a conversation I was having on here but YOU READ THAT ONE POST ABOUT NEIL'S GLOW-UP FROM THE BEGINNING OF HIS FRESHMAN YEAR AND YOU NEVER RECOVER. He's still too skinny!

Aaron is one of my favorite characters who does not get used enough IMO. Like he's fucking funny! Yeah he's kind of an asshole Neil's freshman year but like he's a STUDENT ATHLETE in PRE-MED dealing with THE MAFIA. Also I really love writing the Monsters as just like...normal guys. Like it's not all overwrought conversations sometimes it's "No Kevin, putting vanilla protein powder in chicken stock is not 'Like Chicken and Waffles' it's a CRIME."

I do feel bad about how GS is just constantly like dogging him but in a voice that makes him preen but like to be fair.... vanilla protein powder into her sweet grandson's soup.

FF is always worried about the most important things when faced with a situation. Like 'At least it's a beautiful day I can cloud watch as Captain Neil and Andrew murder me.' , 'I hope there's a bathroom in this torture chamber' , 'Oh gross he didn't wash his hands before he left the bathroom to go murder Captain Neil', and 'Oh no I WAS racist and RUDE. Why the fuck didn't I ask for his name BEFORE I had that conversation. GS raised you better!'

Coming out

-When you came out to him, you two were already dating. You were quite scared to tell him that you were actually a man

-But everything went well. He was just like "Oh okay?", and when he noticed your widened eyes, he took your hand in his and told you he was happy that you trusted him enough to come out, that he was bisexual so it wasn't a problem for him to date a guy, and that after all, you remained the person he loved and cherished so he would always support you and be by your side

-you cried because you expected a break-up, so he pulled you into a hug, kissing your face, rubbing your back, and reassuring you

-you both spent the whole night cuddling in his bed and he offered you to pick a sweater from his wardrobe to wear, he asked for your pronouns and if you would like to start a medical transition (insisted that if you didn't or wasn't ready it was fine and that it was your choice)

-yes he has some knowledges about transidentity, since his siblings have trans friends! They often came to play with teucer and sonia so he learned few things to make them comfortable in the house (he's a trans kids protector, fight me if you think otherwise)

-forgot for a whole week to ask for your name since he only uses petnames like "baby" or "darling" and went "damn i didn't ask him if he has a new name" when he was about to say your birthname in a conversation

-nervously, he asked you if you had a new name and you let out a chuckle, answering that you actually did

"my new name is (Name), thanks for asking, baby"

"woah, that's a pretty nice name darling, it does suit an handsome man like you"

-yeah that man takes every chance he gets to compliment you (and awkwardly flirt)

-he never, and i mean never, misgendered you. at first, it wasn't natural for him (for the first three days), because he was used to your former pronouns, so he had to think before speaking, but it quickly became completely normal for him to call you his boyfriend and use he/him!

-overall, your coming out went very, very well <3

Gender dysphoria

-he can't understand how if feels like to have gender dysphoria, but seeing you sad and crying because of that let him know that's it's not the best thing ever

-he feels so bad whenever you look upset about the way you look in the mirror, trying to hide your chest with weird posture, tears rolling down your cheeks

-when he sees you in these moments, he compliments you more than usual, pulls you into hugs, calls you his handsome boyfriend and kisses your lips, trying to make you think about something else. he will often lay you on the bed next to him, deciding that a nap would be great because you needed to rest

-he's willing to buy you a binder whenever you ask, and if he feels like it, he would even bring the idea to you

-also offers you to go buy new clothes and chooses shops with a lot of men brands

-when you feel dysphoric about your voice, he doesn't know what to do

-he tries to cheer you up but he feels like shit for not being able to make you feel better and allow yourself to talk more

-when you go silent because you heard how high pitched your voice is once more, he has no idea of what to do exept pulling you into a hug and giving you kisses

-same for when you feel dysphoric about your height. he knows that him being a tall ass ginger doesn't help and feels kinda guilty

-expect a lot of kisses whenever you feel dysphoric about anything. he tries his very best to cheer you up and make you comfortable, and he hopes he's doing a decent job about it

-you feel so thankful to have him as you boyfriend, he is so considerate of your feelings

-when you feel dysphoric about your genitals, he always tells you that he doesn't care about them, and that it doesn't make you less a man than him because of how it looks down there

/mention of sex/ -if you're comfortable enough, he would gladly show you how it doesn't matter that you don't have a penis! would also allow you to dom him to boost your self-confidence (will never admit that he's a switch)

-11/10, the best when you have period cramps, will buy you gender neutral pads/tampons, bring medicines and will give you even more kisses. + bonus point because his body is so warm, it eases your cramps, so he is your hot pillow most of the time

-he's just very supportive and words/physical touch are how he mainly comfort you, but it's not so rare for him to bring snacks and start a cozy netflix date!

-remember, he's hella rich. he could and is willing to pay for any surgery that crosses your mind, any binder you want, your hormones treatment, and your clothes. And if you want to buy them by yourself/don't want them, he will support you and help you to make your like easier

When someone misgenders you/is being transphobic

-oh man, that boy is not chill with people just casually misgendering you or using your deadname

-you've been out for months, and hearing some people just ignoring the fact that you corrected them for the hundred time makes him wonder if they want him to punch their face

-seeing you losing your smile is enough for him to almost jump on the person

-he would probably insult them and tell them to shut the hell up, yelling that you passed very well and that they were assholes

-you have to hold him back from punching them

-he corrects everyone who misgenders you : people in the street, in the train, when buying groceries, the doctor... it's always "sorry but my boyfriend, (Name), is a man" and he doesn't give a hell if he has to say it ten times a day

-he'll get very, very upset everytime people disrespect you like this. if he had the occasion he would probably tell them his thoughts and not it the polite way

-with people just being transphobic on purpose... Well, nothing good will happen to them

-if you're here, he would keep his composure because he knows that you don't want to "make a scene", telling them that their little "opinion" about you is not needed at all

-some lines like "who asked?" or "hmm handsome, do you mind if we go back to the house now? Talking with stupid people is irritating" are very frequent

-sometimes mutters a little "shit i wish i could slice his nasty tongue", with a fake angry smile directed to the man

-when you're not here... he will find a way to beat the shit out of them

-sometimes using words, roasting them to the bone and making sure their disgusting mouth will not be used to insult you again

-sometimes using venus and mars, his two hands, making sure they lose enough teeth to not be able to speak anymore

-big problems need big solutions

-he will never tell you this of course, not wanting you to feel bad or to scold him becaude violence is not the answer

-he always smiles a little when you rant about how that guy who was acting as a transphobic asshole to you some days ago became silent, not daring to look at you

-he makes sure all your colleagues treat you fine and use your right pronouns and name

-and he comforts you the best he can when you're feeling bad because of transphobia and being misgendered

-the boyfriend you deserve!!

With you family

-you're not out to all of your family, and the ones you're out to..

-ajax doesn't like them. like at all

-like, the first time he went to your parents' house, he was quite nervous because he wanted to be accepted as your boyfriend

-you both arrived, and for 15 minutes straight, he was just confused because they kept using your deadname and she/her

-didn't you told them four or five months ago??

-he tried to teach them that what they were doing hurt you, that your name is (Name) and that you're a man

-he put it in very simple terms that even a toddler would understand

-but they kept refusing to acknowledge it

-because they said that they accepted you, but on the other hand, they misgendered you and used your deadname

-and it became clear

-they didn't accepted you

-and ajax has nothing to do with people who don't accept you

-he managed to make you leave the dinner sooner, insisting for two whole hours that you were his amazing boyfriend (Name) when talking about you, and at your house, he told you that he had nothing to do with your family anymore and that you should break the contact

-you both had a fight that night, and when he apologized the next day, he told you that you should do what you wanted but that he would never get along with your family, and he thought that they didn't deserve you

-for months, you decided to keep a bond with your family, trying not to cry everytime they said that you were just being selfish, that it was more difficult for them, that if you wanted them to understand you, you had to understand them first, that you were still the "little girl that grew up in the belly of your mother" who wore pretty dresses and had long hair

-ajax was starting to lose his mind

-finally, you decided that you should do something

-you gave them a last chance, and seeing that they didnt wanted it, you said "see you never", okay not actually like that but that's the spirit

-that was hard but you managed to go through it with ajax's support

-by the way, he has a very supportive family who loves you, and his friends are also your friends so you feel better about not having your family in you life anymore
