Dera Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim is Again on Parole For 50 Days

Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim aka MSG is on parole once again, this time for 50 days. This is his longest leave till date. Before this, he got 21 days parole on 20 November 2023.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s stay during parole:

Gurmeet Ram Rahim has mostly spent his leaves at his Barnawa Ashram in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. Dera chief stay as baghpat as this time as well

Reason for granting paroles on short gaps:

According to section 432 of the CrPC, state government has the power to release a prisoner or grant a leave for a specific period of time before his sentence completion minding his conduct in prison, he gets parole on short gaps.

MSG’s programmes during parole period:

Online Preachings: Dera Chief says his aim is to eradicate evils from the society whether it is satsangs and welfare works or by movies and songs. He started preaching Gurumantra online, resulting in transformation of lakhs of people as they got free of drug addiction via power of enchanting God's name (Gurumantra).
