it’s so interesting seeing other people talk about how they play the sims because so many people play WILDLY different styles from how i play it. people who are constantly giving their sims drama or killing them off horribly whereas i tend to be a goody two shoes and give them very nice lives and have only started playing slightly more complicated scenarios more recently...on the other hand players who are very focused on making their sims extremely wealthy with huge ornate houses and most of my sims are a bit more modest/regular people unless it makes sense for their storyline to be fabulously wealthy. i don’t really use mods or custom content (the only mod i currently have is the one that shortens university from 12 to 4 credits because i wasn’t feeling having my sims be in university for their entire young adult span) and some people think the game is unplayable without it...with the new infant update i saw several people say they weren’t pumped about it just because they never play with kids anyway and that blew my mind because i’ve always tended to go for bigger families because i like naming the babies and giving them cute outfits lmfao. as long as we are all having fun!

#i don't use mods but i do use cheats. on occasion #to speedrun stuff like currently i'm doing my first generations playthrough and my og parents have eleven adult children so im toggling #bt the families using cheats to buff up their guitar skill and stuff

snowblood is outright the metalcore song of all time I don't know what it is about that song specifically but it has everything

#only thing i want from it is a bass playthrough lol #the guitar playthrough lives rent free in my head and on my phone but i need the bass and also the drums ones #but yeah. the intro starting out ominous then the rest of the instruments coming in then the verse riff of all time #and jt starting the verse with 'blood starved machine in a feeding frenzy' then jesse with the clean chorus #then finishing the chrous and going back to playing the verse riff effortlessly live (its a hard riff he said it is himself) #and the tremolo riff and mini breakdown before second chorus which leads straight into a classic jesse cash guitar solo #then the bridge/buildup part with the buried distant cleans then the 'sleepless nights hearing voices... the dead are not dreaming- #-can't you hear them screaming?' and breakdown! then breakdown intensifies! the energy on stage is at its peak! and it ends. just like that. #but like. the screaming? brutal. the cleans? on point. the guitars? impossible as always. the bass? felt deep in the bones. #the drums? written better and better. the lyrics? metal as fuck. the ambience? suitably ominous. the band as a whole? immaculate. #its not even their best song or my favourite but it is metalcore song of all time and erra song of the moment #erra #metalcore #i am incredibly normal about their music as you can probably tell (i want jesse cash to teach me guitar)

#finally finished watching a playthrough of the re4 remake. my current looped song is the credits song LOL #love how much surival horror games have this type of rock song in them as a credits song nowadays #evil within had one. grungey rock has been a staple of silent hill from the beginning. re2 remake has saudade which rules #but man this one is great. i love a really really long rock ballad is the thing. AND they put a bit of spanish guitar in there? awesome #not as bad as when my current looped song was fucking hikarigoke by base ball bear which is nearly exactly 10 minutes #or that time i got really into some 17 minute tangerine dream song. i love long songs and its a struggle
