Self-Aware Yandere Ancients and Beasts with male Y/N

Background:

It was a normal Thursday evening and Y/N was out for a walk when they got a notification on their phone. They check it and there was a new update to Cookie Run Kingdom that came out, The Silver kingdom/Beast-Yeast update. The boy was very excited to download the update and get to see all of the new characters, lands, and other features to play with. Y/N hadn’t been this excited since “The Heroes of Dark Cacao” update! Y/N had to admit, The Ancients as well as The Cookies of Darkness were awesome! Y/N thought as he happily jogged home and booted up the game!

After downloading, Y/N saw the beautiful new menu screen, with soft greens and silvers, the new faerie guardians and Pure Vanilla Cookie along the bottoms corners of the screen. But finally, Y/N noticed her, White Lily Cookie! It seemed like forever that he wished that WLC would be added to the game as more than quick appearances and today was the day she probably would!

Ancient Cookies:

Y/N loaded into his kingdom and scrolled around, getting Gems and other things before he finally got White lily Cookie- HE HAD ALL OF THE ANCIENTS! it took awhile but Y/N did it. though... after WLC appeared in his kingdom, he noticed: All of the Ancients suddenly stop moving and look up at him, a normal animation, if it wasn’t for them refusing to move, look away, or the fact that they all started smiling sadistically. Y/N tried to pick them all up and move them so they’d move on but the Ancients weren’t able to be picked up like the rest? Suddenly, Y/N's phone got really cold, like- FRIGID cold! when Y/N tried to put his phone down out of slight fear and concern, five pairs of arms pulled Y/N into the screen, Y/N passing through it and landing on soft ground. Y/N rubbed his head as he tried to get up, his eyes seeing the Lily Garden he had made for PVC and WLC, as well as 5 towering beings surrounding him- The Five Ancient Cookies.... "Our precious baker..." The bond yet motherly voice of HollyBerry Cookie spoke before pulling Y/N up into a strong, safe embrace as the other four started either hugging or carressing your hair and face. "We finally have you here at last, love!" the other spoke, seeming trying to be in unison as Y/N, Now...Y/N Cookie, relaxed into the loving embrace and closed his eye, "You're safe here, Y/N Cookie. and if anyone tries to take you from us..." GCC started, "We'll do whatever it takes to get you back, even if it means crumbling the whelps that get in our way..." Dark Cacao Cookie finished

The Five Beasts:

Y/N logged into his kingdom and started playing through Beast-Yeast, stopping at some points to watch videos on the story (You spoil-sport). After weeks of on-and-off playing, you got to the part where you meet Shadow Milk Cookie and the rest of the Beasts. Though it was strange, while the beasts appeared on screen when talking, their eyes were on you…..this wasn’t normal, so you turned off the game and restarted the level-…same thing. Then- the screen went black and a familiar blue diamond shaped eye, an upside down heart, an ivory diamond, red diamond, and what seemed to be a purple arrowhead appeared on screen. You were freaked out a bit as you tried to shut off the game to no avail.

Out of nowhere, blue text appeared on screen below the blue eye,

“We’ve heard so much about you, Our little baker, and we agree that you need to be with us forever!~”

“Don’t even try to escape, it’ll be futile in the end…”

It was undeniably freaky that this was happening. ‘Little baker? Excuse me, OUR?’ Thoughts spun around your head before a black and blue shepherds hook (cane used to pull people off stage in theatre) hooked around your neck and pulled you into and through the screen.

“Don’t worry, love, we’ll take such good care of you~ you won’t have to worry about ANYONE taking you away from us~”

I've been thinking about writing some sort of player/guide!reader fic. The ones I've read so far have had the reader meet the chain almost immediately. I've been thinking about other ways of having them meet. I kinda like the idea of the player/reader/guide having vague memories of playing the Zelda games, but the heroes remember them as some sort of guardian angel. Some of them think they imagined them and some of the heroes think they were a blessed companion. Idk, I'd love to hear thoughts and opinions.

Hmmmmm.... There's certainly a lot of ways you could take this idea.

Having Reader remember some of the Link's while forgetting the others, verses the Chain not believing Reader to be a real person and other thinking they're "bigger" than they are would be a largely unexplored avenue, I think.

Like....

Link: I thought you were a god sent to be my guardian angle. Reader: I have no idea who you are. Are the one that appears in the middle of a field or the one that lives in a forest?

Reader: OH MY GOD IT'S YOU!!! I DIDN'T THINK I'D EVER SEE YOU IN PERSON. Link: I didn't think you were real.

This of course is open to discussion. I just think it would be funny. ^.^*

ohoho anon, you don't realize the power you've given me. Also, i may have changed it a bit to make Reader more of a Warden within the seal that... kinda sucks at her job at keeping the Beasts in the seal and detering them from escaping just to spite the witches. She's still a bit of a girlboss girlfail though.

The five Beasts, five fallen heroes formerly revered now sealed away for their crimes against cookiekind. Everyone knows that Elder Faerie Cookie is the guardian of the seal, but what about the Warden? Yes, the warden of the seal. The Cookie placed within it by the witches to be the equivalent of a squeaky toy for ensure that the beasts stay within the seal from the inside. And, to put things rather simply... you didn't like your job. In fact, you hated the fact that the witches decided that you were apparently fit for the job. So, instead of doing your job, you got to know the beasts instead. Hell, you may have even caught feelings for one of them. And now, with all this information in mind, it brings us to now. " Oh little warden~" You could hear the beast of deceit purr, causing you to stop yourself in your tracks to look over at the (currently) contained beast. You noticed that he'd shrunken down to be around your height, though not small enough to slip through the bars like you could. " Seems you finally decided to pay me a visit again! I was getting so bored trying to entertain myself!" He reached through the bars of his prison, beckoning you inside. You, of course, obliged in his request. " Well, I have duties to attend to within the seal. If the Witches knew I was slacking off then they'd crumble me for sure." You said to yourself with a chuckle, as if the witches would even bother to care after basically abandoning you here all those years ago. " Oh hush, you and I both know very well that they can't possibly know what goes on in here. You can blame it on that Foolish King if something ever happens." Shadow Milk Cookie hummed, holding your face in his hands. " Besides, who would believe a Fool King like him? Nobody, and I mean nobody, knows just what happens here, little warden." There it is again, there's a certain lit to his voice that seemed to worm it's way into your heart to make it beat faster. You couldn't exactly tell if he was actually flirting with you or not, but there was a certain quality to it that tipped your thoughts towards the more flirty side of things. " Still," You begin, looking away to prevent yourself from staring into his gaze. " It's the only thing I can really do here, y'know?" Your reasoning seems to go in one of the beast's ears and our the other, even though neither of your technically have ears. " Hm... but you could be having a little bit of... fun with your favorite trickster, hm?" He suggested, and that may have been what broke your composure the slightest bit, letting the slightest hint of red creep onto your face. You certainly didn't trust that 'fun' meant exactly what you thought, it was probably another one of his petty puppet shows and he was doing all of this to rile you up and get a reaction out of you. " And what exactly do you mean by... 'fun'?" you question him, your composure breaking further as he let out a low chuckle. " Oh little warden... You're so cute whenever you act so clueless." He purred in this new, low voice of his. Since when could he do this? You knew he was an actor but what???? the fuck??? You could see that he was getting bigger as well, more or less of a good sign. " ... It makes me want to just gobble you up~" hoo boy, hoo fucking boy. You could feel the back of one of his claws rest at your leg. " Starting from your toes all the way to your itty bitty silly little head~ I wonder just what you'd taste like...? I could probably just eat you up in one bite~!" He purred, you could see his tongue poke out from between his lips, licking them in a rather teasing manner that got your heart working overtime. You couldn't tell if it was beating so fast out of fear or embarrassment because maybe this actually flustered you a lot and- by the witches he was fucking huge now. Holy fuck he could probably actually do it. He leaned down close, his wide grin inches away from your face.

" Oh you're oh so teeny tiny... i really could just eat you up in one bite~" He hummed as his hand wrapped around your body. You were pretty sure that your brain is going to short-circuit soon just from the way he's looking at you.

-Honkai Star Rail men with a mentor!reader who dies protecting them-

Dan Heng: Dan Heng desperately tries to avoid what you’re about to do. Tries to push you away from him, out of the way, but it’s too late, you’re determined to take the blow for him. He watches in horror for a second as your body crumples to the floor, and he dispatches the enemy swiftly before he returns to your dying body, kneeling next to you. Once he realizes your dead, he doesn’t know WHAT to do. The Astral Express crew hold a very special funeral for you, and he spends his time locked in the archives, reading over and adding to your files, missing you so much. He treasures your lessons, writes them out and updates the archives on you. Soon you’re the most interesting file in the archive. And he’s glad when others read your story. But he doesn’t like to talk about what happened to you. It’s another one of his closely guarded secrets. He feels ashamed he couldn’t save you, and that his beloved mentor had to die.

Gepard Landau: Gepard knows what’s happening. He knows what’s coming but he can’t stop it. He just has to witness the horror as your life is ripped away in front of him. He holds your dying body, asking, pleading for a reason, why you would sacrifice yourself for him? You can’t answer. You die before you can. And he is left all alone in this world. The Silvermane guards and Supreme Guardian Bronya all honor your sacrifice at your funeral. Gepard gives the funeral speech, with a shaky voice, but he is determined to honor you and your life story. He’s a little lost without you. A little quieter, more stern, and he throws himself into his work to distract himself from your death. Not the healthiest, but it’s how he copes. And he has Serval there to help him cope too.

Jing Yuan: Jing Yuan can’t believe he’s losing another mentor figure. You hugged him and he had to feel the sensation of your life being ripped away from you, and now he’s on the ground, cradling your bleeding body, asking why you did it, not that you could answer him now. It’s happening again. AGAIN. He doesn’t know what to do, he gathers his nerves and avenges you, and then holds a grand funeral on the Luofu for you, attended by many many people. He doesn’t know what to do without you, but he knows he has to move on. He passes your teachings down onto Yanqing, and tells your story, honors your memory. You’re hailed as a hero on the Luofu, and the anniversary of your death is commemorated by many.

Luocha: as soon as the attack hits and you crumple in his arms, you know this man is DESPERATELY using every healing technique he knows, even the forbidden ones. He’s doing anything he can to bring you back, but you’re too far gone, your wounds are too deep. He can’t save you. For the first time, you see Luocha begin to cry a little bit as the life fades from your body. He remains with your body for a long while, trying every healing art, anything that might work even though he Knows you’re gone. He never surrenders you though. You become the next coffin he carries around, and if anyone asks he can warmly tell them that you were his beloved mentor, who died…protecting him.

When reader gets pulled into the game, hero is calling them a parental term of some sort. I imagine the aware characters having interesting reactions to that.

Laventon is over the moon, he already calls the hero "my girl/boy" so it makes it even better for the God of this world to do so.

Ingo has a breeding kink, so of course he adores it. Makes him think of a domestic life with their God

Volo is shitting himself. You're telling him he almost killed the child you consider to be your child. *fuck,shit,fuck* cue a sobbing apologizing Volo on his knees. He'd be begging for forgiveness.

However you ignore him, giving him pat on the head, saying that you'd deal with him later. You have a bigger issue to deal with

Welcome on in Witch Anon! Good to see you! （＾∀＾●）ﾉｼ Honestly, I would adopt Akari/Rei. They deserve the best, especially after everything they’ve been through. I would throw hands.

Imagine, you get pulled into the game, you wake up with the hero above, concerned. Understandably, you are distraught and confused. They try and calm you down, and what catches your attention, is when they seem to cling to you. They tell you they have heard you this whole time, and have felt safe in your presence. You guide them, and try your best to keep them and their team happy and healthy. They didn’t mind someone taking control every so often, and were quick to figure out their world was a game to someone else’s. But they knew you were on their side, especially when you spoke up for them whenever something bad happened. They knew no matter what, you were in their corner. Especially when you started calling them your child. You cared for them more than any person here. So when they saw you laying on the ground, they immediately knew who you were. They had to protect you until you woke up, like you had protected them. You both discuss what to do from here, and they insist on taking you in as their guardian. You’re a little taken aback, but accept none the less. You did care for them, and you would protect this child with your life. Even if they ended up doing most of the protecting. It’s okay though, they are happy protecting you after all you’ve done for them. They insist on coming with you everywhere you go, and being there to protect you. Especially if you want to go see the village. You wonder why, but then they tell you it’s because of how the others may react to you. Others? That has you curious. The hero explains that the others are somewhat aware of your existance. Your voice, your face, all of it. Whenever the game was on, they’d either hear you or see you. You don’t know how to process that information. Other characters were also aware? They heard you, and some saw you? You feel your face flush. Oh god these people heard you, and all the dumb shit you’ve said. You hoped they didn’t hate you, and told the hero as such. They smile and shake their head. “No, they don’t hate their god. At least I don’t think so?” You stop mid step. A God? You ask for clarification. The hero looks at you, confused. They’re talking about you, silly! Who else? You are completely gobsmacked. They think you are a god? The hero shrugs. They are aware that there’s more to it than that, but it’s easier just to go along with it. Meanwhile your mouth is opening and closing like a fish. You aren’t a god, you assure them! The hero tells you they don’t mind if you are or aren’t, they’re just happy to have you with them. Getting to the village, however, is quite chaotic. Laventon is excited to meet you! You worked just as hard to help with the pokedex, and seemed to be a rather kind soul! You smile and tell him you are happy to help, and you couldn’t have done it without the hero, who you wrap an arm around like a parent to their kid. When he hears you call the hero your kid, it’s as if a lot of things click into place. Of course the hero would be your kid, not just your vessel! It explains why you are so protective of them too! He already loves Akari/Rei as his own, and its obvious the hero sees him as a father figure, and he already liked you a lot. When he’s alone, a thought crosses his mind. What if the hero saw you both as their parents? A blush covers his cheeks at the thought of being with you as a parent. It doesn’t sound so bad, the more he thinks about it. Ingo is another that loves the idea. He already likes you a lot, and knows you care about him quite a big deal from all the things he had heard you say about him. Ingo cares about the hero a lot as well, and feels a like a parent figure to them. So when he hears you call them your kid, he’s secretly ecstatic. He’s polite when talking to you, but inside, his mind is racing. He can’t help but daydream about you two together in a home, him cooking for you and the hero. He becomes flustered at the idea of providing for you both. The domesticity of it makes him flustered enough to pull down his hat while talking to you. The hero sees this though, and teases him about it later. Meanwhile, word gets around to Volo that the hero is more or less your kid, and you are very protective of them. He nearly screams and tears his hair out. Seriously?? The kid who he had fought, with the intention of getting rid of, was the kid of the true god??? Oh he was so upset. Expect him to find you two late at night, knocking on the hero’s door. Both of you are surprised to see Volo at the door. Not only that, but he looks like an absolute wreck. He gets down on his knees, and begs you both for forgiveness. He swears, he had no idea! He swears, even though he knew of your existence, he couldn’t stop himself! It was as if strings were controlling his every move! He babbles on and on to you two, and you nearly squeak in surprise when he grabs a leg, and is begging for forgiveness. You and the hero share a shrug. They had told you they were upset, yeah, but they didn’t hate him. You awkwardly pat his head, and tell him you’ll.... figure something out later. He betrayed the hero, and it would be up to them if he got forgiveness. He’s still upset, but let’s go of you, and agrees to leave. This wasn’t outright anger at him, and he would take anything he could get. Besides, you still had to deal with Kamado, who has seemingly been avoiding you this whole time. He was gonna get a tongue lashing when you finally got your hands on him for banishing your kid. Beni wasn’t safe either. Meanwhile, the hero has stars in their eyes. They are so lucky to have someone like you willing to protect them, especially after everything they’ve been through.

The 30ft au idea does make this a bit funnier. If anyone had any doubts you were a god (despite you telling them time and time again you weren’t one), they certainly felt you were now. Everyone thinks twice about ever hurting your kid, lest you come by to stomp on them. You wouldn’t, but hey, you weren’t going to correct them either. Anything to help people back off and keep your kid safe.

Scott, worried at your absence from school, knocked on your door at about 3:30 pm. When your [guardian] opened it, he explained his concerns. Your [guardian] called to you, and you trudged out of your room in shorts and a baggy hoodie. You looked miserable- messy, greasy hair and tear-stained cheeks. Scott was quick to run to you, wiping any fresh tears and asking you what was wrong. You shyly explained, well, you’d been on your period over the weekend, and today was just too much for you. Briefly confused, it quickly dissolved from his mind as he ushered you back into bed and ran to his house to grab some supplies. You needn’t worry- he’d take great care of you!

Pip Pirrup

Pip noticed you over the past two days- doubling over in pain, frequent trips to the wrong bathroom, et cetera. Well, on the third day of your pain, he seemed to have figured out what was wrong with you. He had an older sister after all, he wasn’t quite that dense. He waited cheerily for you to arrive, having left home with a thermos of [coffee/cocoa/tea], homemade lunch of comfort foods and things you’d mentioned craving, period products, as well as a gift of a small, battery-operated heating blanket. It was all he could afford, but when you opened the bag and started bawling, he thought he had done something awfully wrong. When you slung your arms ‘round him and sung his praises, however, it was his turn to cry. He adored making people happy.

Damien Thorn

He noticed that occasionally, you’d match his snappy, bitchy behavior. One day he asked you about it, and you snipped at him. So, he went to ask his only other friend. Pip explained that, well, it’s something very private, but your body is going through some aches and pains during some weeks. From then on, when he noticed you’d snap right back, Damien would shut his trap. He brought you small things- dark chocolates, sometimes small crocheted stuffies his stepfather Chris made, and even drinks. But the best thing, your favorite thing he would do, was when it was a particularly painful cramp day. He would sit, and pull you into his lap. Being a demon from hell, not only was he warm, but he purred too. It was the best for your cramps, and even though he was mortified to be being kind, well, he would make an exception for just you.

Gregory (of Yardale)

He’s a smartass, that much is true, but he steers clear of upsetting you when you’re particularly sensitive like that. He didn’t question it until you showed up to class doubled over and nearly sobbing. He ignored the teacher’s protests, and Cartman’s shouts of you being a “sissy girl,” and brought you to the quiet nurse’s office. He made sure that you got aspirin before trodding off to the vending machine in the hall to grab you a snack and a candy. He stayed with you until you were retrieved by your [guardian], reheating your hot water pouch every time it would get uncomfortably cold. He even carried you to the car, bridal style, shooting a cool retort back at any kid who dared insult you or your unfortunate situation. Gregory fist faught Cartman after school that day, and he was your hero for the rest of the year.

Christophe “The Mole” DeLorne

Now, Christophe isn’t normally one to care, given that God has forsaken all of us pathetically over-intelligent apes on a dying rock hurtling through space. But when you knocked on his door sobbing and babbling about how you were cramping, and how some of the older boys at school had outed you when they found a [tampon/pad] wrapper in the bathroom trash, he was furious. He rushed you up to his room, despite his mother’s protests, and tucked you in with a heated blanket. He cracked the window for fresh air and set a water bottle next to the bed so you could hydrate, and marched right out to the local skatepark to confront your bullies. He came home an hour later, bruised but triumphant. You helped clean him up, telling how he was an idiot. But he couldn’t stop smiling, and neither could you. You ended up staying the night.

Precure is another good one sinse each season have a different theme be it princess, cooking, fairytales, magic ect. I just recently watched all of mlc and the blood of youth within two weeks and I've also already watched the untamed, woh, and who rules the world so I'm kind of feeling very scared that I've run out of cdramas that can make me feel insane with beautiful visuals, found family, whump, cool fight scenes, and hopefully a healthy dose of homoeroticism. please if you know of any other shows that will feed this monster in me could you recommend some

wow anon you've been busy 👀 there's a few more dramas i can think of you might like as well. they don't all hit every point but are close enough i think!!

-> The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity it's not a cdrama but a movie but it hits all your points - gorgeous visuals, fantastic fight scenes and whump! pretty much the only movie in existence i regularly rewatch at this point 😂

-> Heroes (2022) incredible fight scenes, found family galore and also an insane amount of gay chemistry. zeng shunxi has a skill for getting involved in polycules 🤔 (which reminds me, i still need to finish watching this but it felt wrong to not include it considering it fits to a tee)

-> Nirvana In Fire i don't post about this nearly enough but it's one of my all time favorite, if not all time favorite cdramas. not super heavy on the action and more focussed on political intrigue but [clenches fist] it's so good trust me. fantastic story and characters!

-> A Journey to Love (het romance) murderer x murderer, plenty of found family, it's hilarious but also knows how to rip out your heart and shred it into pieces

-> Love Between Fairy and Devil (het romance) breathtaking visuals, clownery, whump and it has my favorite loyal dragon boy shangque

-> Guardian if you don't mind modern cdramas and low budget, this hits pretty much all the other points. it's based on a danmei novel by priest so homoeroticism guaranteed

43, Wild and Twilight!

43 was "we'll get through this" kisses and I also had an anon ask for 23 which was "calming kisses" both for Wildlight, so I've combined the two. I'm not so happy with how this turned out, but I've been looking at it for days now and it's not getting any better. Still, hope you like what I came up with, even if I don't. 😅

CW: Wild having a panic attack, flashbacks that could be PTSD

Terror crept up his spine and sheer dread pooled in his stomach only to climb the ladder of his ribs to grip his heart in it's ice cold grip. He couldn’t stop the shaking even if he was aware of it. And Wild very much wasn’t aware of much beyond the fear that engulfed him and the booming sounds of violence overhead.

Thunder rumbled as if the Goddesses themselves were waging war in the sky, lightning so frequent it may as well have been daylight for all anyone knew. Yet in the clouded haze of Wild’s mind, he’s back there, where it all ended in agony and in blood.

It wasn’t thunder that Wild heard, but the booming explosions of Guardian beams aimed at him and the kingdom he was meant to protect. Lasers lit up the sky and even the mechanical sound of marching, spindly legs can’t drown out the sounds of carnage and destructive terror the machines bore down onto Hyrule.

Twilight found him huddled between two beds in the stable they sought shelter at, Wild’s white knuckled grip grabbing his own hair so tight Twilight was scared he’d actually pull it out at the root. Wild’s eyes may have been open, but it was clear for anyone to see that he wasn’t there with them, not in the present.

Gesturing nosy guests away, Twilight asked the stablemaster to bring privacy screens over while one of the stable hands encouraged other patrons to the other side of the stable to leave the two in peace. Once privacy (as much as could be) was gained, Twilight was carefu to approach a rocking Wild.

“WIld-?” Twilight’s voice kept low as to not startle his friend. Although a gentle soul, Wild wasn’t in the mindset to be accountable for his actions right now, and if his mind was where Twilight suspected it was, then he needed to tread carefully for both their sakes.

After a moment of no recognition from the younger hero, Twilight tries again, this time adding a gentle judge of his foot into Wild’s bent leg to gauge his reaction, it was a technique he’d learned back in Ordon to ensure he wasn’t about to be charged by an injured goat. When he’s met with a weak whimper, Twilight’s heart broke all over again for his friend.

“Oh, Wildflower…”

Twilight somehow managed to wedge himself in the small gap that Wild had found in his panic to escape the monsters in his mind; a lull in the storm allowing enough cognition to return to Wild for him to realise that Twilight was a friend and was there to help him so Wild did the only thing he can in that moment, and gripped Twilight for dear life.

Wrapping his arms tightly around Wild, Twilight cupped Wild’s head in one hand, encouraging Wild to rest his head on his shoulder while his own work calloused hand covers Wild’s ear to try and block out the worst of the storm.

“It’s okay, Wild. I’m here. It’s just a thunderstorm, everyone is safe and the guardians are long gone.”

There’s a rigidity beneath Wild’s skin with the indecision of whether to choose fight or flight, but with no visible enemy to fight, Twilight fears that Wild may bolt in his confusion. He needs to find a counterpoint for Wild to latch onto, something to keep him grounded and in the present.

Another loud clap of thunder has Wild set to panic, tension coils in his body as if deciding that moment was when Wild needed to act, to do something, anything to protect a kingdom so dependent on his success.

The motion is halted when Twilight pulled Wild onto his lap, gentle kisses placed to his hairline as he’s faced away from the stable entrance to shield him from the view of the lightning; one ear cushioned against Twilight’s collar and the other being gently held by his partner. “Shh, now. Just listen to my heart and my voice, can you do that for me?”

Kisses like raindrops litter every inch of Wild’s face that Twilight can reach, gentle words and soft hums filled the space around them as the storm raged on both outside the stable and in Wild’s heart.

They stayed like that, with Twilight holding Wild close and safe, all the while placing calming kisses and promises of safety and love into Wild’s skin in the hope they will penetrate his very soul.

For Twilight would do everything in his power to make sure Wild never has to endure pain and destruction like he had before; he’d even fight Hylia herself if it came to it.

“We’ll get through this, Wild. We’ll get through it together, you and I”.

It's the same anon that send in the previous royal! Reader ask with reader being betrothed. I saw that your requests were open and I wanted to see if you could write headcanons regarding that same topic. I didn't want to put it in the previous ask because it got a bit too long.

The whole royalty reader idea gets more interesting depending on which zelda/link you're with.

Give me a duo who had an arranged marriage with you before the calamity. Spending so much time with their sweet bride and refusing to let you even think about helping out in the war. You can try to fight them about how you're capable and able to do more to defend their country and cry you might but they refuse to let you do anything about it. To them you're so much better suited to waiting the war out while they take care of it. Zelda often takes you to the springs with her, just knowing you're there while she prays alleviates her anxiety. The goddess has to hear her cries when youre by her side. Who could ignore such a sweet soul?

Link likes this as well. Being able to watch both of you helps him relax. Having you away from him not knowing if any yiga rats might hurt you tears him apart. It is his duty to protect you and his princess. Keeping you close by is the best way to make sure you're safe. Even if the lack of privacy may hurt your feelings it is absolutely necessary. Tying the knot between you and Zelda helped with relations between your two nations. The extra help with the war was sweet but having you as her prize was the real victory- even if no one ever heard how badly she wanted to just have you.

Zelda loves it when you help with the guardians. She can't spend all of her time studying them so having you do it and talking about it over tea and while travelling really makes her happy. Listening to your sweet voice go over the numbers and talk about how her plans are going along well just sounds so much sweeter when coming from your lips. The extra help with her other more mundane tasks like hair braiding and just the slow sweet domestic moments are her greatest pleasure. The way you help with domestic affairs was the whole point of the marriage after all.

Link feels a bit off while witnessing those moments but the way Zelda smiles when she looks at you makes up for all of it. He loves seeing the two of you being so happy. He smiles and finds that even your aura is enough to bring out the best in him. It's hard for him to keep such a cold demeanour when you're breaking down all of his walls.

Post calamity these two would be a handful. For multiple reasons. I didn't mention it much before but you are always at Zelda’s side or in a location they are ok with you being at, such as the castle. After the calamity it's hard to keep you pent up in one house all the time and even travelling with them isn't safe. Plus it's been one hundred years and they're not the same people they once were.

Flora lost you once and was convinced as she sent Link to the shrine of resurrection and as the two of you were separated that you were dead. She used the memory of who she was fighting for to help fuel her energy in the fight against holding the calamity back. Fighting the years away she awoke and found the most beautiful sight waiting to greet her. Her heart was so over flowing it felt like everything that happened up to this point was all worth it. Losing you was too much to remember most days. Yet here you were. Wild taking up the mantle of guardian you again.

The new hero is certainly different. That much is easy to tell. He doesn't really remember you and his tendencies to always have to keep you in his line of sight are gone the first time you meet. He truly doesn't remember you. After such a long time, who can blame him but it still hurts you a bit. All Wild can recall is that you were a visiting royal who stayed at the castle. How you managed to live for so long, you explained it was all simple luck (magic, being put in the shrine of resurrection with link, Purahs anti aging device, idk maybe love or the calamity did it in hopes you would fall to the malice but you never did).

You spent your time adventuring and travelling with Wild. Hoping to rescue the princess and put an end to the calamity that you witnessed destroy everything ages ago. The dynamic changes a lot. You and Wild have spent a lot of time together and even after rescuing Flora he isn't willing to let go of you. The Link who died had to stand by because he couldn't mess with the royal wedding but there's no need to keep himself away anymore.

There was a time seeing the two of you being so close would have made her jealous, now however? She found seeing the two of you quite calming. Wild's yandere tendencies make her feel secure. She doesn't have to worry about your safety as Wild has obviously gotten ground rules set down that you follow. They're both so overprotective of you but it's clear to see why. Flora can get a bit jealous of the two of you; but who wouldn't be after seeing the way you smile? The jealousy never lingers but it does make her feel sorry about what happened. The life she promised you, the kingdom she was going to rule with you, and all of the plans for the future. It's all gone. She can no longer give you what she once was going to.

As the two of you spend more time together and rekindle what was there it only fuels her love for you. It cements the fact that you married her for her. Not for her title, not for the kingdom, not any of it. For her. You want her. You went so far as to help Wild save her. All for love. She considers the two of you still married and would love to redo your vows.

Age of calamity Fauna and Calamity. This link is far more stern. There's a literal war going on. He can't spend his time always on the lookout for you. He needs you to stay put as far away from the front line as possible. Fauna lets Calamity do the stern talking but she gets in on it as well when you start to pull the royalty card to try and regain some of your freedom. It's not like you're going far, but it's still so dangerous and they can't bear to lose you. Once Fauna unlocks her powers she gets an aura around her, in truth though she couldn't care less about unlocking her powers. All she wants is for this war to be over a day sooner. She can't wait until this war is behind her so she can just live a normal life with you.

Keeping you by her side all the time and spending her days in the castle while you share stories with her is all she truly wants. Calamity’s goal is the same. He just wants to put this all behind him so he can finally figure out who he is without all of this hero business. Fauna has no issues with sharing you between the two as they have spent so much time together that there's really nothing he can hide from her, and her from him. Your life after the war is much like it was before just with two very needy yanderes who have to have your attention at all times.

Time would love for nothing more than to take you away. He loves to have you visit him at work when hes with the knights or at the farm. Seeing your down to earth and kind personality as a royal makes him feel secure in the kingdom's future. Due to this part of the timeline being the one where he was sent back to a kid before Ganon betrayed Hyrule. The hero wasn't needed and Zelda never let Ganon into the sacred realm so he feels… sort of odd. He enjoys your company and adores being able to talk about being a hero around you without feeling strange about the whole ordeal. You're so hypnotising he's always at such a loss for words around you. In a sense he knows he's the one who should be treating you like royalty but there is one small issue. You Are to be wed to Lullaby. He knows you're more than friends but he can't just take you away because to do so would upset your marriage; and he can't stretch the truth to Malon and say he kidnapped the princess. That's what Ganon did; but he can't live in this fantasy world while wishing you were his. He lets this eat him up inside until he eventually talks to his Zelda about it but it's a hard topic.

Lullaby seems loyal and regal and in royal gossip there is this air of her being holier than thou but it's all air. An aura. She doesn't do anything like that at all. In fact part of what drew you to her was how down to earth she is. She's a very multilayered person. She works day and night both as princes but mostly as a sheikah warrior. While exposing Ganon as a traitor she can't be sure his influence is fully gone. She needs stability and power and she has about ten different jobs to get down and they all need to be done by now. She needs someone all the time. Someone who can help her. To comfort her when she cries, to rub her back when she's sick, to be there with her when she prays, she needs a friend and ally and someone to help her spar. She sees how willing you are to help and she latches onto that. The love of her life just showed up out of the blue and now everything feels so much easier. The problems fade away as the hours pass when you're by her side.

Once you've started to help her she's already planning to get her claws in you and never let go. Deals and money exchanges hands all the time and if she gets her own a bit dirty who can prove it was really her and not Sheik? Lullaby is the type to not realise how far gone she is in her obsession with you until she's already planning on how others might need to die and realises “oh, this wasn't on my schedule yesterday.” and she snaps out of it for a moment and it hits her like a ton of bricks. She LOVES loves you. It hits her how much she can't stand to lose you. The light of her life is not even the gods could keep her from you now. As long as you're married your bond will be eternal but she can't help but want more to do with you. She lets Time in to help protect you and watch over you, and to keep you busy when she's not around- but she has to come first in the relationship. She can share but not when she wants you, only when she can't be there right now. She’ll let him in when she's not there and sees it as thanks for keeping you safe but Lullaby can't bear to see how close you are if you two haven't done something together yet. She can't stand to feel like second best.

Artemis is a troublemaker. Not because she is by heart but because she wants a domestic life but she just cant afford it. She is wealthy enough, but her kingdom just suffered from a war. Your marriage was chosen just as much for political gain as it was her hope for a loving partner. She is a hopeless romantic and often vents to Link and Impa and has them weigh in on who they think would be a good choice. She is very picky and settles on you after a few tests and invites you over only to realise you have such a good heart. You don't act like those other nobles and you care a lot for the people. Is it meant to try and test you by setting up scenarios to fall into your hands? Even as she does so she watches from the corner as a spy does it for her and she just prays seeing you prove yourself time and time again.

Although Artemis wants the picture perfect life nothing in her Hyrule is picture perfect right now. No matter how hard she works there is always something else that needs to be done. TWhen she meets you she's caught off guard. It all seems too soon for the perfect person ever to walk in while she's still trying to recover. She built up her walls so much that when she meets you and you're perfect she realises she's now a major red flag. More so as she starts to plan on how to trap you into marrying her. Suddenly she's nervous and wiping sweat off of her hands and trying so hard to act casual but she cant be after seeing how your eyes look and you're so gorgeous, is it too soon to take a bite out of you? Handling her is handling seven different bombs that are all going to go off at different times and cause six different sized explosions. A lot of fun for people who enjoy that type of chaos but unfortunately she makes peace with the fact that you two will never have a picture perfect relationship on the inside. She craves you too badly to play nice.

Warrior is just as bad as Artemis is sometimes. He has seen far too much war to feel ok and the thoughts and feelings of everything he saw and went through weigh heavy on him. He needs comfort and finds so much of it in you. When on his late night walks he finds himself at your door. Having walked to you without even realising it. Artemis is jealous of him at first but she softens as soon as she sees the way he relaxes around you. She can't be mad at him; she just can't stand to see the two of you alone. As long as she's there to comfort him as well she doesn't mind, although Link would like some alone time he can't push her on this. The two of them both want you but can't stand to let the other just have you without a fight, and neither of them are up for anymore fighting.

Ok that's all the ones I have for now, I wish I could have written more because there so many small details that I think would really shine in a long form writing or a one shot but I don't have the time for that my lunch break is almost over... I loved this so much I hope it makes sense. I focused more on how the dynamic plays between the two rather than them both sharing you, but that's because I think its so much more interesting! I would love to write more about this soon
