The first lot of books on my to-read list. I have so many books in my house that I haven’t read at all or in full so I’ve gathered a few up into the one place and I’m going to go at it. My search also uncovered the oldest book we have, an 1811 collection of poetry from a local poet. Came across a couple other 19th century books too. Might do a post about them another day, most are in pretty good condition all things considered. Below is a list of the titles and authors transcribed.
Complete collection of the narnia series, C. S. Lewis
The Heart of Midlothian, Sir Walter Scott
Scottish Folk Tales, no editor listed 😢
A Brief History of Life in the Middle Ages, Martyn Whittock
Sharp Objects, Gillian Flynn
Wuthering Heights, Emily Brontë
The Hobbit, J. R. R. Tolkien

~Intro Post~
Hey, everyone! I'm joining the studyblr community (after weeks of hesitation) and I'm super duper excited. Hopefully this sudden bout of motivation won't die out anytime soon, haha!
A little about me:
Name = I'll go by 'Brave' on here. I only dare give my name to people willing to get to know me more. (ironic much, don't you think?)
Age = 20 (I'll be 20 the 27/09 which is soooooon)
University = VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) in Brussels, Belgium. I was born here, so I'm Belgian, but my parents are from Morocco, so I'm Moroccan too.
I'm in first year Biology, I'm actually redoing it since I skimped all my exams due to personal reasons. My courses are Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Evolution, Ecology, Animal Biology.
Despite my questionable decision of doing this branch, I also very much love all other... what's the word? Courses? Bref, I love languages and literature, I adore history, other hard sciences fascinate me... I won't try to keep my studyblr at just my main topic.
I'm absolute shit at studying, motivation and discipline. I'm hoping keeping a studyblr will help. I really need a studybuddy. I really want a (web) friend (internet friends where u at??) because I'm feeling damn alone in this corner of the world.
I'm a very big fan of DC comics and Marvel: particularly the Batman and Spider-man storylines Manga and Anime are liiife. I'm actually in many fandoms! Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, ... Feel free to hit me up if you wanna fangirl (or fanboy) at/with me.
Studyblrs to have inspired me: quite a lot really:
@pencyls , @smarticlesparticles , @emmastudies , @sophistudies , @intellectualgold , @studyquill , @griffin-studies , @theorganisedstudent , @studiii , @studyign , @studahlias , @studypetals , @elkstudies
You're all amazing and I love your blogs and yeah, you're only doing good with those studyblrs.
To the whole studyblr community:
Let's be friends and make this an awesome year for us all! I'll track #swordstudy #bravestudies and #chupastudy. yes three because I'm an indecisive fool.
ps: hmu fast!!!!

29.02.2020 // happy leap day! i‘m reading romeo and juliet for my literature class and last night i got so frustrated with shakespearean english that i started rewriting it in my own words, and now i would like to present to you some excerpts:
- montague and lady montague show up too because #fomo
- romeo is all like “oh fuck i want to pork my enemy”
- the nurse tells juliet to stfu and let her catch her breath but juliet says “that’s what you get for skipping cardio”
- romeo refuses to 1v1 tybalt without a save point
- tybalt saunters back on over with real biff tannen energy
- romeo starts crying on the floor (what a mood)
