Danny is about to be kidnapped in Gotham
This is not a good time.
He's studying for the SAT, he's already been kidnapped by Vlad like, four times that week and it was a fucking Tuesday, he forgot his wallet at his new apartment, locked himself out of said new apartment (he could phase through the door but that wasn't the point), he's just been informed that the grant he applied for was denied so he needs to ask his mom and dad for college funds when he'd already told them he had it covered, and just...it was shit.
It had been shit. The entire week had been awful and annoying and he was ready to either murder everyone on the planet or go find a corner to cry in for the next three days.
So when the band of wild goons working for whatever villain of the week pulled up and tried to kidnap him, he snapped.
He used them to vent.
Shouted about how terrible his day had been, how terrible his week had been, how he'd already been kidnapped by his creepy godfather who was way too into him, how college funding was shit and the grant system was rigged, and how he'd have to call a locksmith or break down the door to his own apartment if he wanted to go to bed-all of it. He unloaded all of his frustration.
The goons actually backed off.
One of them gave him an awkward side hug and told him it'd get better.
Danny wasn't paying attention to his surrounding. He doesn't realize that the whole thing was livestreamed.
So when he gets home to his apartment later that day, his door is opened for him by the vigilante Spoiler before he can even turn intangible.
She brought over BatBurger and kidnapped Bruce Wayne, Gotham's bumbling Prince, to talk about college grants.

Danny the Aggressive seamstress.
So I can see this as the justice league looking to hire both someone to help newcomers with costumes and also help fix up old costumes.
Batman finds out about Danny looking into Tailors and seamstresses. He decideds a retired superhero probably knows how costumes should be functional as well as comfortable.
I can see Danny as just an old mentor Esk figure for the younger age group.
Not many of the younger age group take him seriously until he beats up Darkseid with an L square ruler

DC X DP PROMPT #15
Despite what most people would think, Danny was an excellent driver. It took a lot of hard work and extra classes, but he is by far the safest driver of the family. So safe in fact that others often make fun of him for it.
'You'll get there eventually with Grandma driving!' 'It's like going even a fraction over the speed limit is gonna give you a heart attack or something'
It was fine. Danny was proud about being a safe driver. It's what he worked for! His family already contributed to enough property damage.
Driving in Gotham was a very different experience from driving in Amity. His new friends made fun of him even more now.
It was one of these playful ribs that he shot out his favorite reply (one he hadn't gotten the chance to use since moving).
"Well, you know what they say; you should only do one illegal thing at a time!" Danny thought he was hilarious (as his species was still technically illegal), the Batkid (you decide) overanalyzed (as usual).

The explanation for why totk’s story is so Not Great and how disconnected from its predecessor it feels being that the devs didn’t want to alienate new players who didn’t know anything about botw’s story just falls apart the more I think about it. Nothing from this stupid half a plot works unless the player is familiar with specific details from the better games that came before it.
The believability of Link and Zelda’s connection to each other hinges on you knowing about the nuance of their relationship in botw. The ancient sages fighting with the champions’ arms and divine beast helms will only be impactful to botw/aoc players because totk doesn’t bother to explain the significance of that callback at all. Fi’s cameo is meaningless unless you either got every memory in botw or finished the master trial dlc (and know about her from skyward sword). You’ll only get the full context of Teba being sidelined in favour of a 12-year old if you played a specific chapter of Age of Calamity’s second DLC. Like sorry but I think Nintendo just made a bad story tbh

Also love that both Allura and Keyleth's reactions to poking Ashton's magic/essence/energies is shaky breath and perturbed stare followed by "What the fuck are you? And by what miracle are you even functioning? Also the vast powers sleeping within you freak me the fuck out."

FEBHYURARY IX: SUN
Wherever she treads, the stories grow—like blossoming wildflowers to some, like weeds to others. To her enemies she is the soldier, the warrior, a weapon forged in the blazing crucible of Garlemald’s military, stolen by their foes and unleashed to bring doom upon them. To her allies she is the saviour, the guardian, a shining beacon sent to shield them from harm.
But regardless of where she goes or which story she embodies, there is always one constant: she is a daughter of the dark burning bright, with the power to harness the sun’s flames.
