I've been at this for a little less than four hours, but it didn't feel like that at all. I started at 10:20, and when I looked up I thought it was around noonish, but it was actually close to 2!
Time sure does fly when you're in the zone. I'll take a break after bag 6 and finish the rest tomorrow.

Watched Back to the Future 2 this time ! I think I'd never actually seen this one before
-- Doc and Marty were in it ! Jennifer was in it too, but not very much
-- I guess this is the first time we actually see a "future"; the first one was kinda more like Back to the Present. I remember 2015 was just like that; how did they know ?!
-- Evil Biff takes over the world and turns it into a dystopian Hillscape. It was sad when they had to tear him apart with the Turtle Tunneler
-- For a minute I thought "how did Biff change the present so fast" forgetting that he would obviously give the book to Young Biff in 1955 and not Car Washer Biff in 1985
-- Poor Doc! He invents time travel, but then has to destroy it. It looks like it's more trouble than it's worth. Maybe he and John Hammond should start a club
-- To be concluded in the 3rd one

I think we should revive the term "Great Scott!" as an exclamation. Firstly, it will be funny. Secondly, our society is probably over-vulgarised.
Like, comment and reblog if you're with me on this.

Great Scott! (Scott who?)
Tumblr media
In the “Back to the Future” movie trilogy, Doc Brown exclaims, “Great Scott!” a total of 15 times. “Great Scott!” was also a favorite expression of comic book heroes like Superman and Batman. But the question arises, “Scott who?”
You guessed it: “Great Scott” is the Word (or Phrase) of the Day.
Now, before we get into specific Scotts – one of whom was an actual Scot – let’s get this out of the way: “Great Scott!” an exclamation of amazement or dismay, is what is known as a “minced oath,” a euphemism in which a blasphemous, taboo or profane word is replaced in a phrase. In the case of Great Scott, the Oxford English Dictionary says the word being replaced is “God.”
But why Scott? And Scott who?
A few people…a small minority, really…suggest we’re talking about the author Sir Walter Scott, born in Edinburgh, so an actual Scotsman. He was referred to in several poems as the Great Scott. Mark Twain, we’re told, was not a fan. In “Huckleberry Finn” he named a boat that was sinking the Walter Scott.
The more generally accepted theory is that the Great Scott in question was Old Fuss and Feathers himself, General Winfield Scott. He was a celebrated leader of U.S. troops in the Mexican American War and commanding general of the Union forces at the start of the Civil War. Many of the men under his command thought Scott was pretty great. He was certainly great in stature. He stood about six-foot-five and weighed 300 pounds (and at one point late in his career, was too fat to ride a horse). His men swore by him…and eventually took his name as a mild swear word.
Now, about Great Caesar’s Ghost……

I just gotta say, I have never in my life to date loved an actor more from only TWO roles alone.
Michelle Gomez. Which for being scottish is the most not scottish name ever. lol
Missy in Doctor Who made her my second favorite master of all time (John Simm. Sorry, but his chaotic nature AND his ending with Missy made him #1 by a small margin).
But her in Doom Patrol? I don't even like the show anymore (it got dumb this season), but she made me stay tuned. Seriously. They went off the rails, and for a show known for going off the rails, that's saying a lot. She gives a central realness to the show. You would never hear her voice and say 'that's a gomez, right?' lol
I just have respect for actors and writers. Those 2 are the ONLY important thing for art to work. It can be done in a park without everything else. But you need a good script and someone to do it right to matter. Fuck producers and directors.
