I'm genuinely very happy B.T found himself during wierdmaggedon.

That isn't a joke or an exaggeration for comedy. It genuinely made 12 year old me so happy. ^^

The punching bag character is very counter productive in a show supposedly about embracing oddities, although it's obvious the show stumbled into that message, out of a sense of obligation, when it would more often be petty and mocking in a very 2000s 2010s way.

Gravity Falls would have suuuuuucked if it was an adult show "unrestricted by mushy kid's shit" x[

It's actually obnoxiously judgemental a lot of the time, no better example than the popularity of dipper and stan and their "witty remarks" which is just them being insecure assholes, both when the show is aware of it, and when it isn't.

stanford and stanley pines fighting for you (headcanons)

i just played swooning over stans and...help i'm so obsessed with these two now..here is littles headcanons for them when they are both in love with you :-)

warnings : swearing (thank you stanley), gn!reader, using they/them pronouns, mention of child abuse

context : the kids are gone, the grunkles are on adventures, so to their surprise when they came back for a month, they saw you in the living room (stanley almost hit you with a stick if ford and soos didn't got him), soos explain to them that you got banished from your home and came to the shack late at night under the rain. Pitty hitting them since they know damn well what a lonely life is, they let you stay and life goes on..well not as they expected...

stanley pines :

at first he tries to deny what he feels, you are friends, right ?

if you laugh at his jokes, swear with him against things he dislikes (tv-shows, young people ect..), and that you help him annoy poeple by stealing and other things ? My man is head over heals

you can see he start to grow fond of you when he wants to protect you even more than before, especially since he knows what is gravity falls made of

when you where gone for shopping with soos, he decided it was time to annonce it to his dear twin brother

he would talk about it while watching a romance movie with ford (even tho he said he didn't wanted to watch)

"you know, i start to kinda like them..but like like them you see.."

the pills doesn't pass well when ford says he likes you too

stan is definitely the most childish one

"let's make a bet sixer ! the first to got a date with them wins !"

he likes to come in while ford tries to show you something or even tries to speak to you

he even broke down ford's clock so he would be late to your weekly monster's chase

he still as limits of course, ford is his twin brother after all, and it's only little jokes that doesn't harm anyone right ?

will definitly show off with his boxing skills or by putting a nice suit (for exemple the one in the gif) while you all go out together for a party or something, will try to do sport everyday but heh, he is a little bit too old to do those things daily..

gives you his jacket when you are outside with him, even if you aren't cold, when he sees ford's face when he smells his cologne on you while you both work on something, i'ts worth it

gives you flowers and little gifts, puts them on your bed for you to find when you come back

verbally says what he thinks about you, while ford can't even say two lines in a phrase when all he wanted to say is that your outfit was pretty

stanford pines :

he mainly start to realise he likes you when you helped him with his reasearches for a creature, he is amazed by how much you are interested in his work and doesn't hesitate to take you as an assistant and answer all of your questions

man did he regret telling stan's about his feelins for you, now his life is a living hell (sometimes he thinks about going back in the other dimension by how stan can be extremely annoying, really)

you only get free time with him when you are both in the forest to hunt monsters, you talk for hours about many toppics

smarter than stan, he tries to make you more open around him, asking you about personnal stuff and trying to comfort you when things gets too hard for you to tell, he even experienced to make hugs (bc my dude is awkard) and he purposelly hugs you in front of stan while you are crying about something related from your abusive parents, bonus point if you say : "oh ford..what would i do without you..", he would look at his twin, sticking out his tongue in a proud grin, revenge is a plate you eat cold they said

when you are all watching a show on the t-v and that it's his turn to choose the movie, even if he is dying to watch a documentary, he puts an horror movie and sits next to you, watching you take his hand as a loud noises his heard or hugs you if you are too scared

when you both work and you pass out on a table, he first puts his long jacket on you, and if it gets too late, he takes you in his arms to put you in your bed, all while him and stan are having a "who is gonna look the more angry at eachother" contest

when stan swears , he likes to take him back, especially if you don't like that either (or if it's not the right moment or the right place to do those) of course it doesn't stop him for saying : "for fuck's sake" or "fucking little nerd" while you laugh with ford

Gravity Falls Headcanon I wanna make.

Dipper IS trans (ftm) and his parents are sota supportive, but not really. (Mabel is VERY supportive of Dipper) So when the twins parents called Grunkle Stan, they told him to push more girly things on Dipper and how Dipper thinks that "she" is a boy, and how that needs to get out of "her" head.

Grunkle Stan being Grunkle Stan and not doing everything he's told to. He thought Dipper was a boy so that's part of the reason he pushed him to do all those chores. More "boy" chores to get him that build or something like that. Or to make him feel like an actual boy. And would help him get those hormone pills.

Idk, just a headcanon, not saying it's canon just a thought. Have a great day/night.

Bill Cipher X Reader [PLATONIC!]

Alright, well, for starters, how you became friends could vary.

Either you’re some messed up otherworldly creature with a thirst for chaos and destruction like him, or some unsuspecting human. Or maybe you knew what you were doing? Who knows! Bill knows.

Regardless, at first he doesn’t pay you much mind. You’re simply another pawn on the chessboard to him.

He can get bored easy, so he hangs out around you a lot. Not for long, mainly frequent short visits.

He finds you amusing, you and your antics! If you’re a dimensional thing like him, he’s quick to invite you to join him in wrecking havoc. If you’re a human, he’s more still in the ‘I’m better lol’ mindset.

When you guys are finally friends, he will try to convince you to let him possess you. Not all the time! And very infrequently! Come on, won’t you help a pal out?

His love language (PLATONICALLY) is acts of service and gift giving. He’s not an emotional being by any means at all, so this is how he expresses his care for you.

As canonically presented, his gifts are kinda…..messed up.

Also with acts of service he totally offers to take care of anything bothering you. Someone annoyed you? He can get rid of them! Don’t you worry your fuzzy little head!

He does a lot of small things for you that you might not notice. Like picking something up, summoning an object, giving you whatever small thing you happen to want at that time, yeah.

If something happened to you he’d probably go crazy ngl.

Also, if you’re human he makes sure you’re taking care of your meat-suit properly.

Have you drank water? Eaten? Slept? Done all the human things?

One last thing, I feel like Bill would love Doritos. I know this kinda doesn’t match the theme, but there used to be this whole ‘Bill hates Doritos they’re his species :(‘ kinda thing and while it is funny, personally I disagree. I think he’d find it hilarious, and probably eat them specifically because they look like him. He’s a little creacher.

Ford Pines Headcanons Part 02

Bad Touch

Because of his experiences during Weirdmageddon, Ford doesn’t like being touched around his neck, wrists, and ankles (usually by surprise). He’ll usually react violently or just freeze up. Those areas are also very sensitive now and he wears compress sleeves on his wrists due to the nerve damage.

Tattoo Gone

The only good thing out of the electrocutions. The horrible scars pretty much got rid of Ford’s really embarrassing tattoo.

Love for Cats

He adores cats and always wanted to get one, but life happens (between his research, Bill, and being stuck in the multiverse). One of his favorite cat facts is that a cat’s purr can heal.

Quiet and Tiny

Ford was born tiny and quiet. He was, like, four pounds and didn’t let out a cry. Not long after his birth, he was having some trouble breathing, but it was able to be regulated…still gave quite the scare though. Stan was reminded of this when Dipper was born, as the boy had an umbilical cord wrapped around his neck.

First Act of Trust

For the first few decades of Ford’s life, his main sign of becoming trusting is in the form of a handshake, since this is him trusting the person not to freak out or judge his polydactyl.

Silent Nightmares

When people experience nightmares, they usually make some kind of noise, be it some mumbles, cries, or maybe even a whimper depending how distressing it is. Ford, however, had to train himself not to make a single noise in his sleep, unless he’d wind up getting undesired attention from anything looking for him, be it a predator or a bounty hunter. Same is said for movement. He doesn’t toss and turn or anything of the like.

Itty Bitty Little Space

As opposed to Stan’s claustrophobia, Ford actually likes small, dark, and tight spaces. It made him feel safe.

Not Too Tall

I do think that Ford is a tad shorter than Stan, maybe like 5’10”

Mild Malnourishment

Due to relying on special nutrient pills for the past three decades, Ford is a bit undernourished and underweight. By how much…not too much. Men of his height (say 5’10”) would have a healthy weight of 130~170 (according to BMI Range). So, maybe we can range Ford’s weight to be between 120~130.

Tiny Stomach

Again, because of his reliance on the pills, Ford can’t eat normal food (unless it's mushy and bland; even then, he’d still have some difficulty digesting it) and his stomach is smaller than normal.

Since I’m rewatching Gravity Falls I keep thinking about headcanons that have been around for ages and how they’d be once they’re older. I know these are probably old headcanons that everyone knows about but I just love them.

Like I 100% believe that they’d end permanently finding places in Gravity Falls because their old home doesn’t feel right anymore.

I also believe that when Mabel ends up getting married once she’s older she ends up keeping her last name and her partner takes her name. Dipper also ends up being her man of honour and Wendy, Candy and Grenda are her bridesmaids.

She would also 100% ask Stan to give her away and her dad would be super supportive of it because he knows that she’s really bonded with Stan and Ford over the years and it’s her wedding so it’s her choice.

a lot less bloodshed and a lot more comfort, although she’d throw herself infront of the monster instead. getting you as far away from it as possible. she’ll scare it off somehow but she’ll make sure they regret what they did to you someday. but first she needs you to be safe. she’ll sit you down with waddles and braid your hair with all the gentleness in the world.

if you get hurt in anyway, bill cipher will just go ballistic. you’re his weak point, the line that his enemies shouldn’t dare cross. If they did, he’s no longer playing, or interested in giving them any mercy. most of all he’s scared of how fragile you are as a human and not a being of light in a human like form. he could snap you in half if he wanted and so could any other monster. he’ll growl and kill the stressor once he sees you in any pain at all. no .. lines then he’ll bury his nose in the crook of your neck and he’ll help you forget.

Dipper’s gets all worked up thinking about how he could ask y/n out and where he could take them with the budget of a broke teenager

As much as it embarrasses him, he ends up going to Wendy for help

‘Cater it to what they like but don’t make it something that you’d absolutely hate. Just be your normal dorky self, the worse that’ll happen is they say no.’

‘But what if it ruins our friendship?’

‘It won’t. Yea, it might make it a bit awkward if they decline but you’ll work it out. You two ever get into a fight before?’ Wendy trying to be sincere with her advice as she noticed how stressed out he was. Looking akin to being constipated 

At her question, Dipper thought back to the time when y/n had a crush on Robbie, their argument turning into them giving the other the cold shoulder until Mabel got them to reconcile when she threatened to put them in a get-along sweater

'Yes but were able to get through that.' 'And you'll be able to get through this if it goes astray.'

Dipper ends up gifting them an annotated version of their favorite book; most of the annotations being pointless little doodles, theories of what happening next and how to fix the one plot hole that's been bugging him the whole time

The end cover's blank page having the question 'will you go out with me?' written on it

They say 'yes' and Dipper tells them to meet him at the Shack a few nights later and to dress somewhat casual, trying his best not to give away the itinerary

Getting Soos and Mabel to help him pack a picnic basket with a bunch of a mix of his snacks, drinks and a few hastily made sandwiches

Not that the sandwiches are poorly made but man are they wrapped in so much tinfoil

They also keep him from going overboard and bringing an entirely separate icebox for the drinks. Almost completely forgetting to bring blankets

He ends up taking them stargazing, having researched if the weather was clear enough for viewing and looking up the star's positions

Pointing out ones like Orion's belt and Ursa Major, making up new stories/mythos as to why they were put in the sky, going as far as the deities themselves

They end up exchanging stories, y/n joining in on his game

Dipper offers up his jacket, having seen it in a shit ton of the rom coms Mabel forced him to watch with her

It cheesily starts raining, y/n holding the borrowed jacket above their heads as Dipper quickly grabs all their stuff

Stan Pines Headcanons Part 01

A Tight Squeeze

No doubt that he has some level of claustrophobia after being trapped in a trunk. I wanna say it was from an artsymeeshee post where a fic idea (a fic idea I still have and is still 95% finished…) that dives deeper into Stan’s quote of ‘chewing out of the trunk of a car’. When trapped in said trunk, the car it was attached to was pushed into a bog or something to sink (from I think Zeragii’s fic on AO3). With Stan in it.

Bi the Way

Because why the heck not? And, yes, I do think he dated Jimmy Snakes for a short while. Even so, Stan leans more towards women.

Hablo Español

I think it is canon that he knows some Spanish (The Last Mabelcorn). I do believe that he’s actually quite fluent in Spanish, something he picked up while in Colombian prison. Speaking of, it is said that he was imprisoned in three different countries. I’d take the guess that Colombia was one of them. As for the other two…still thinking on that, though I’d imagine the countries aren’t too far from the USA because I can’t imagine Stan being able to take a plane to, say, England. After some consideration, I think that the other two countries he was arrested in were Canada and Brazil. He knows some French and an exceptional bit of Portugal.

For Protection

Those ten guns he has? They’re for protecting himself (plus his family) from not only people from Stan’s past, but also from any aggressive anomalies that call Gravity Falls home. Or really anyone/anything else he deems as a threat to his family.

Love at First Sight

Stan claims that he’s not a fan of kids. He even wanted nothing to do with his nephew when he was born because he was all snotty and drooly. However, when Dipper and Mabel were born, it was like a switch was flipped and Stan adored the twin babies.

A Froggy Dream

Stan once had an occurring dream that he was the owner of some wax museum, which actually inspired him to get (steal) those cursed wax figures. The oddest part about the dream was that he was a frog instead of a human. And he swore that Soos was in it too.

Still Got It

He started going back to keeping in boxing shape some time after the twins were born.

Second Thoughts

There had been maaany times during those 30 years that Stan wondered if his brother was even still alive and if all this work was worth it.

Somewhat Sentimental

Similar to how Mabel has a section in her scrapbook of failed romance, Stan has a booklet that contains his own failed love life. Of the known partners he had, they were: Carla McCorkle, Jimmy Snakes, Marilyn Rosenstein, and Lazy Susan. There was probably more he tried to sweet talk over the years, but never panned out. Heck, Darlene the Spider Woman is probably in the book too. Also, I find it funny how three of the six known lovers are magical in some way (Jimmy is basically Ghost Rider, Marilyn Eda is a witch, and Darlene is...I guess a Jorogumo)

Former Biker

Pretty much a scrapped idea that is now in headcanon land, that Stan was part of a biker gang at one point, which was how he knew Jimmy Snakes, who was the biker leader. He still has his helmet and leather jacket. I wonder if he still knows how to drive a motorcycle.
