Score for performance by Raven Chacon
American Ledger No.2 is a site-specific score for the city of Tulsa Oklahoma and surrounding areas. Through its symbology and subsequent sound, the score recounts episodes of the region’s forced migrations, both into and out of the city, and violence towards Black and Native communities. To be performed by many people walking a circular path, American Ledger No.2 utilizes drums, whistles, megaphone, trumpet mallet percussion, and matchsticks, in an unstable system of equity and exchange. The score can be presented as a flag, a billboard, railroad debris, or any pyrographed object sourced from the region.

“Many say the moon is closer to the dead.”
This is COLOR OF A MIRROR, my debut novel with an original, dark ambient soundtrack by composer Josh McCausland to go along with it.
Written, designed, and published by me, it’s the culmination of years of work, and it’s exactly the story I wanted to tell. It’s not loud or bombastic, but rather a cerebral, slow-burn cyberpunk narrative lingering on themes of fame, paranoia, religion, and technology. If you’re a fan of the brooding futures of William Gibson, Blade Runner, or anything with a mood like the movie Drive, I think you’ll find something to love here.
Available exclusively on my website, it comes in limited edition deluxe-hardcover, softcover, and e-book. (And if you’re a vinyl lover, the soundtrack is pressed in 180g Moondust White; also available on my site.)
Welcome to the Dive. Hope to see you around.

my (sarcastic) favorite part of autism is being great at high level stuff but dogshit at basic things.
im not bragging here because i was genuinely surprised by my ability, but like. in college i got A's in calculus 1 & 2 and calculus-based physics 1 & 2. i have failed math quizes in highschool just by making a bunch of arithmetic mistakes.
i cant remember which months have how many days. do NOT tell me the rhyme. i will NOT remember it. or the knuckles trick i will NOT remember it either.
How is it that i can maintain an almost 4.0 gpa but can't do this shit... thank you autism!
