I wanted to ask, cause I thought maybe with you being a larger blog you might have some opinion on this, what you think is going on with BFU? I’ve heard TJ got laid off, which worries me about the future of both the boys’ careers and the future of the show itself. I’m pretty concerned right now tbh 😥😥😥

I don’t think their careers are in any danger with BuzzFeed, since both are kinda famous producers and one of the reasons BuzzFeed has so many viewers after the Try Guys left: their show is one of the current ones that attracts more people, therefore they probably have more security on their job that others. 

All that is the Goulboys, the Worth It trio, the LadyLike girls, the new Multiplayer guys (especially Kelsey with her so successfull sims series) and part of the PeroLike fam are NOT gonna get laidoff unless they do something bad/against the company’s interest.

So don’t worry about that, the laidoffs are over anyway. And it was not only TJ from their team, their boss (Kate, selfdeprekate on instagram) said it was half their team (can be just an expression, but looking at the list of laidoff people, a ot of people who worked on Unsolved and BUN are in there) which is why the season is taking its time, since they need to reagroup and work through it.

They ARE filming already, you can check my tag /tagged/tcs5-filming to check out their little BTS stuff they have been sharing, they started last week so the season may come around next month. 

Don’t worry much, really. Not about the future of the show as a whole, tho. I’m more worried about how these changes will look IN the show. TJ’s camera work is very unique to the show, and having someone else doing it will be strange. I’m really hoping it’s good and that whatever changes there my be, are for the better fo the show. And that everyone who lost their jobs so out of the blue can find better ones and much more experiences for them.

For real, it’s fine-- we are getting True Crime season 5 soon!
