The Haunted Mansion: Elizabeth Henshaw —Aesthetic
Elizabeth Henshaw's Character & Personality
Upper class African-Americans were prominent in the 1800's following the American Revolution. Many of them were Mulatto (one black parent, one white parent), but were conceived through unsavory means. In 1881, Elizabeth was the daughter of one of the servants at Gracey Manor. Meaning, she's of very low social class. Edward, the master of the manor and youngest child of Mr. Gracey, developed a close relationship with Elizabeth. Eventually, the two decided to become engaged. As a person, Elizabeth is gentle and kind who's determined to reveal the truth for the sake of good. She's also passionate about love and likes balls because she enjoys dancing.

Helluva Boss: Octavia —Aesthetic
Octavia's Character & Personality
Octavia is the heiress to the Ars Goetia. She's a cynical, stark teenager. She favors morbid topics like, collecting taxidermy of monstrous animals, listening to and writing depressing emotional songs. Octavia is a person of few words, but she highly values her privacy. Her overt observable attitudes suggest she's a negative, pessimistic and sarcastic individual. Octavia's perpetually sour mood deters her from others. She has a dry sense of humor and dislikes rip-offs. Despite her outward complacency, Octavia's issues are evidently deeper than they appear. Since she was a child, she has feared her parents going their separate ways. Specifically, her father abandoning her. This fear began to manifest in her childhood, but it became more prominent after her father started his affair. Eventually, Octavia learns to be forgiving of her father because he does his best to make her happy.

The Haunted Mansion: Edward Gracey —Aesthetic
Master Edward Gracey's Character & Personality
Edward is the ghost of the former master of the Haunted Mansion. He was a whimsical, kind, generous and an emotionally passionate man. Despite the time period he was born in, Edward wasn't racist or discriminatory towards black people. Instead, he saw them as people and eventually fell in love with an African American woman who he was willing to sacrifice everything for. This included Edward's title, wealth and legacy for the sake of love. His big heart also has great love for many things like art, literature and beauty.
