There is entirely too much moral value placed on being good at your job tbh and that includes all kinds of jobs. It doesn’t feel good as a disabled person to hear people be like “I’m the only person that does my job right” “I hate working with x bc they can’t do shit” like I shouldn’t have to explain that treating ppl like they’re lazy and entitled and malicious for not being able to do difficult things with no support is ableist. The only thing that’s helped me feel better about that mindset is when I stopped trying to convince myself I’m decent at my job and accepted that it doesn’t matter if I’m good at something I don’t value and that my worth lies in who I am as a person and not my physical and intellectual skills. This is something a lot of people claim to agree with and then say shit like the above to me
