Secretly admires the shit out of Dapper. He's fucking brilliant. Hilariously unhinged. Insanely devoted to his collection habits. Adorably takes after Bad in looks and silliness. He's just such a badass little guy.

Pomme his fucking beloved. Brilliant just like her siblings, insanely perceptive, tough as nails yet still soft as flower pedals. He sees huge survivalist potential in her. He wishes she could shed some of the stress she's always seems to be under. He relates to her a bit too much sometimes. He hopes that poor girl gets a break.

He's absolutely gutted he didn't get to know Trump like at all. He saw little to nothing of him. He hopes he's at peace with Maxo.

GOD he wish he got more time with Flippa. She took him out like it was nothing. He would've loved training her alongside her parents. He bets she would've been an awesome pvper one day.

He wishes he could've seen more of Tilin. He more familiar with her than he was Trump but still not enough.

Richarlyson makes it so hard not to pick "favorite eggs" besides his own. Richas is always on some wild ass shit, Phil fucking loves it. That kid's just high on life at like all times. Unreasonably funny on top of it all. God does Phil worry about him though, he's gotten way too into risking his life for the lulz.

Ramon practically feels like a third child to him (sometimes). Much like Dapper, he loves how brilliant he is and how cracked at his craft he is.

Bobby's death absolutely devastated him. He loved that little shit. And he loved how happy he made Roier and Jaiden. Seeing how severely his death broke them made his heart ache. He had nightmares about going through the same thing.

He's DETERMINED to get to know Chunsik further. Timezones are a bitch though. :( But he will be damned if something happens before he can get more familiar.

Empanada is unreasonably cute to him, and he loves seeing her take more and more after Bagi every time he sees her once more. He absolutely loves how close she and all her moms are. He genuinely fears the Pancake Mafia tbh, and he's convinced Empanada is the head.

He adores Sunny. She knows what she wants. They're not afraid to speak their mind as long as they're comfortable. She's silly and playful and sweet. Yet they still have this small, but palpable cool edge to them. Truly one spunky little girl. 😎

Phil is like 90% sure Pepito is just always going thru it, but has a sneaking suspicion that's just how Pepito seems at first glance, and maybe thats just what Pepito WANTS people to think. Either way, Pepito is just such a Creacher and Phil loves it. An absolutely loveable little guy.

He on/off considers commissioning Ramon or Dapper to make bombs to go fuck up a Fed building. He'd let them join him tbh.

He's so insanely afraid of accidentally hurting the eggs, but he'd love to spar with them and teach them more pvp skills so they'd be even better at defending themselves. He's only comfortable doing so with his own eggs.

God, he wants more times where ALL the eggs are together. He loves watching them interact, he loves their dynamics with each other and the chaos that unfolds when they're all in one place.

i’ve been showing my mom pokemon horizons (we just finished episode 8, will be watching 9 whenever we do another session) and like for context my mom is over 60 years old and not a pokemon fan (though she does have scattered pokemon knowledge because of osmosis from me and living thru pokemania in the 90s with my older brother before i was born)

it’s been interesting seeing how she reacts as someone at that age. like uh

- this is further proving to me how important the adult characters are in horizons. my mom isn’t super articulate with her feelings on media but she had a lot of visible/audible reactions to moments between friede and roy the past few episodes - like personally as a 24 year old i get a lot out of the adult characters but i think my mom does too because she relates to/enjoys the parenting dynamic, which is helping her enjoy it more overall

- in speaking of friede, them putting in a gen 1 charizard pikachu man was actually a very good decision because my mom has remarked on how cool charizard is and gets a kick out of cap’s smug energy. they’re very recognizable to her and she likes them LOL

- it’s really funny how much the anime art style can still confuse her though, despite being exposed to it heavily since i got into anime in the 4th grade in the mid/late 2000s. sometimes she mistakes a certain expression/emotion for another, like asking why liko was mad in one scene when she was actually Determined. she has asked me why anne only has one fang and why it keeps switching sides, and she asked if landau was even a human being and not a pokemon because she was so confused by his facial hair’s stylization and his wacky clothes (he actually freaks her out a bit. the only character she doesn’t like LOL it’s hitting some sort of uncanny valley for her)

- this is more applicable to my mom because of her exposure to pokemon and not the average older person, but it’s funny seeing her deal with the new anime structure with what little she previously knows. she’s asked things like “doesn’t he have more pokemon?” @ amethio continuously sending out ceruledge and “don’t they have other moves?” @ liko and roy spamming leafage and ember at each other. horizons tends to give everyone just one or two partner pokemon and catching and training up pokemon has been comparatively slow, which is actually something i enjoy, but my mom is a bit confused by it LOL

- on the note of my mom’s pokemon knowledge, i just found this really endearing: in HZ006 when rayquaza is first released, for one she excitedly asked if the pokemon was coming out of the ball, and then when she saw it she asked if it was gyarados. i said no that’s rayquaza. and she was like huh why did i think of gyarados. and i said well they’re both flying noodles. later she said she was surprised she knew that association/was proud of herself for it and i thought that was cool too LMAO

- she has no strong opinions on dot yet, we aren’t far enough, but i made sure to point at the screen really emphatically when she showed up and say THAT’S MY FAVORITE CHARACTER!! so she knows. she Knows i’ve been showing her all my likodot art anyway SORRY MOM

anyway those were just some of my thoughts watching it with her has been really enjoyable :)

so, i finally actually got into KP. i mean i watched a couple of episodes when it was airing and then absorbed the other episodes via osmosis on Tumblr but, like, im properly obsessing over it now. and, to absolutely no one's surprise, VegasPete is my fav ship & VegasPeteMacau + TankhunPete are my fav dynamics.

and, well... the last couple of days has been WILD as i learned about the shit Build (& Bible) went thru (is still going thru?) (i read some stuff and didn't read some of those stuff either bcs some are just fckn atrocious and vile). i don't know everything (i will never know everything bcs i'm neither Build nor Bible and i'm definitely NOT Build's abusive gf) and i'm sure i'll be learning more things as i go along and my opinion on the matter might change on the matter as i know more but FCK, ppl need to leave Build & Bible the fck alone omg let these kids BREATH AND LIVE for like five minutes

I think Shadowsight’s story was more of a tragedy with him living because he never got actual closure for the shit he went thru. A half-assed “apology” from pretty much the whole damn forest except for his parents who wanted him punished for being manipulated and abused and some (Lionblaze) even wanting him dead iirc?? And he just? Clocked in to work the next day like nothing happened and kept being a medicine cat? He got the bad ending actually imo. I don’t like Shadowsight bc I’m tired of “the most specialist uwu sad softboi #8763” being churned out in the series but at least he’s compelling unlike Alderheart, Rootspring and Nightheart and his story is one most people wanted to see end well after all the horrific abuse he faced. But it didn’t? It felt… empty and mean spirited? Which isn’t new for the Erins but usually they do it to women so nobody gaf. Idk I just felt like especially the other medicine cats should have done more to atone for their cruelty. They’re all comrades under the same oath yet they were so fucking awful and treated him at best like a useless nuisance and at worst an enemy. Shadowsight literally ate deathberries out of desperation for an answer that would appease everyone and it’s so obviously a suicide attempt but brushed out to fit the narrative. He deserved better and it was genuinely disappointing that nothing else was done. “Oh Shadowsight, you ARE useful!! Yes you’re allowed to sit with us again. Huh? Apologize? I feel like him going onto become a bg character with no baring on the main plot and his only acknowledgements are characters going "there's that dumbass who released cat satan" is just. not the plot I think people would have wanted from the guy who played TBC's punching bag for six books straight lol side note....i miss when side characters/bg characters got to have stories and tidbits. Mousewhisker having a crush on Minnowpaw...Spiderleg and Daisy's whole thing....we used to have interesting casts :(

I quite like Shadowsight, I think he stands out from the other examples by actually being strange and offputting. He does weird things and characters comment on his appearance and intimidating looks, makes me actually understand and empathize with his "outsider" status, ya know? Also thanks to osmosis from my mutuals he's a girl to me so there's that lol I think him being so put down by others (facing actual adversity) makes him interesting and my irritation with that comes from the story trying to "both sides" it rather than acknowledge the wider array of issues at hand. I don't think an apology is necessarily needed, I just kind of like narrative acknowledgement. But I'd need to reread TBC for a more succinct argument (i wanna reread tbc anyways, i just need time lol maybe when im bored on campus i'll do it)

I wouldn't call the deathberry thing a suicide attempt, though you could arguably make the interpretation that it is a cry for help in some regards; I think that just wasn't the authorial intent. I do agree he deserved better, it's a bit disappointing how we haven't gotten to see him more :( where is my Shadow and Frost bonding moments :(

So, how'd ya get into transformers and/or warrior cats?

basically around 2020 my dad put on the first season of transformers prime on Netflix and we was watching it together and at first I was like ‘BOOO I DONT WANNA WATCH DUMB ROBOT SHOW 😡’ but then the more we watched I ended up rlly liking it!! And bc Netflix sucks and didn’t have any more seasons I went searching on other sites and finished all of tfp :3 but then I heard there was more robots still and I was like WOAHH and so I began to watch more and MOREE I binged tfa and some of cyberverse, the bayverse movies etc and discovered/picked up lots of knowledge from tf fandom posts on tumblr and things 🤔 i read a bunch of idw comics like mtmte/ll and I even went to TFCON toronto last year :3 so that is so the story thus far of how I got sucked into robots MWAHAHA

As for my warrior cats obsession that began when I was like 9, so it’s been with me for much much longer 🫡 around 2016 ish i I remember seeing a reference to it in one of pinkbunnygirl43’s videos, a youtuber I used to watch a lot, and then my mom was like look at the cat books while I was at the library and I started to check them out!! Also I began to watch multi animator projects Abt wc too, and i gained lots of info Abt the plot and story Thru osmosis n watchinf so much fan made content till eventually I begged to get all the books and read them all. Like in 2017 I began my digital art journey and some random warrior cats ocs were the subject of the piece :3 and wc basicallt what got me into drawing and art related things and it still has its claws in me even after 8 years good lord SOMEONE HELPP!!! I have so much pre 2020 art in my files like a whole heap I am grateful I didn’t have social media back then (aside from my wattpad era) but yeas!!

Ok so sindel was married to king jerrod. But shao kahn came in,did his conquest thing. And killed jerrod(no not sindel. That was a lie. Told to whomever was convenient for shao kahn to manipulate. Like its a tatic he uses to get people riled up for kombat or worse. And political tactics. Sindel only when with it because she was manipulated. More on that below)

After jerrods death sindel was forced by shao kahn to be his queen. Gaslighting her into loving him. Which weirdly enough she did. (I hc sindel is a sucker for romance. And unfortunately is easily manipulated by such. She only gained confidence thru osmosis,magical manipulation,and after she broke free eventually. And had to heal from all this trauma. More on that too)

She was however not liking the treatment her daughter had to endure. So she killed herself,because of the suffering. Shao kahn was pissed. Ordered quan chi (who wasn't in his court however he was in his political pocket) to resurrect her. Under only to serve him. But however the magic could not get rid of sindel's love for her daughter. A bond that never could be broken. Something that shao kahn had to work around with his schemes.

For years,decades,centuries even. Sindel was his consort. Under the influence of dark magic from quan chi and shao kahns masterful abilities of manipulation tactics. A true tyrant.

However. There came a day where sindel. Broke free from the spells. After quan chis death. She was free from his magics. And shao Kahn could no longer sustain her. (I hc that he had to basically keep reapplying the spell because it wasn't as strong of a hold because of sindels stronk af will power. She was also a natural at magic. That also played a factor)

And so now broken free she reunited with her daughter,who was about to take the throne back to edenia. Alongside her sister mileena. Who had reconciled their misguided rivalry and hatred to the one person responsible. Shao kahn.

With sindels aid. They all defeated shao kahn. Now i have two endings one where they spare shao kahn. Sindel stating that "killing a man's pride was enough" . And threw him to the wastelands. Where he had no power. (Basically shao kahn had to start from scratch. Only a few loyalists survived too. All were executed by law,cept those few that escaped).

Another ending was sindel did kill him. Herself. Only fitting. Saying "telling them all i killed my husband was a smart move. Too bad you didn't expect it to be you,fool" either way sindel got her freedom and lived happily as once again,HER TRUE SELF.

Kitana became kahn. And mileena at her side. Sindel happily retired in peace. Enjoying her freedom. She travels now across realms. Searching for rare ingredients for perfumes,oils,and other jewellery n trinkets. A hobbie she once had,before shao kahn took that small peace away.

Now can sindel have dark sides? Yes. But i erased the "evil. Always evil. Dommy milf bullshit" NRS did. I see sindel just having those tendencies when pushed. (She is toooootally a scorpio!) But she isn't evil. She's just intense.

Now my self ship for sindel is i meet her actually at a tournament. She wasn't participating. Just observing and enjoying herself. I was basically a new kombatant. She was intrigued by me. We talked and things happened. Kitana was happy for her,after all she is free. She let her mother enjoy her freedom,after all she was kahn now. She had a kingdom,an empire to run. But again this is the self ship au idea only. Again im not 100% sure if im self shipping with her or not. But thats how I'd do it at least.

What are your thoughts about SB, GW and AG (assuming what you know by osmosis and thru reading reviews)?

I honestly don't mind spoilers, since I don't intend to play the game myself, nor will I use it as research for my writing.

As for what my thoughts on the routes are, I'm putting these below the cut, for those who are avoiding spoilers entirely. I should also preface this by saying that in 3 Houses Azure Moon was my favorite route, with Crimson Flower my least favorite, and Snow and Wind in the "meh" spot. I don't hate Edel, but I do think she's one of the villains of 3 Houses, so anyone who doesn't want to read any Edel criticism can bow out now, if desired.

Scarlet Blaze:

Monica's Edel simp personality has been retconned to be her actual character, rather than something weird that happened after she got Slithered. From what I've seen she even counts how often Edel sighs? If she were a guy, we'd slap a restraining order on him, so I can't take this seriously as good lesbian representation. Ferdinand apparently got even more shafted than before. Bernadetta's father supposedly has a similar personality to hers, which makes no sense with what we've learned of the man in FE3H. Linhardt's dad is... there. Caspar's dad has a crest he canonically is not supposed to have. Caspar has apparently been reduced from "I wanna grow taller and stronger and fight evil and injustice!" to "I wanna grow stronger and fight", which is sad to hear. I have not heard anything bad/OOC about Linhardt or Dorothea yet, so that's good. Petra's support with Dedue is about how he and Dimitri taught each other their respective languages, but Petra had no one, which only reaffirms my desire to recruit her out of her house asap.

Story-wise, I find it hilarious that Edel gets support from the church in routing the Slithers, gets to reform her country as she pleases... and then still goes on to declare war. Almost as if the imperialism had always been there. Apparently the church sent assassins after Count Varley once he became head of the Southern Church, which is super OOC for the Central Church (not so much the Western Church). I know the official summary talks of Edel looking to rout the Slithers, but apparently she doesn't even get to take out Thales--Rhea sacrifices herself to do so. The route ends with a high five from Edel and Shez, which... seems appropriate. I have heard nothing about this route that makes me think it's any more engaging than a high five. There are apparently two different endings, depending on if you recruited Byleth or not, but both of them leave the war open ended, which sucks. Overall, it sounds like Crimson Flower 2.0.

Golden WildTrashfire:

Poor Claude can't catch a break. In 3 Houses, the writers gave him a copy paste route, in 3 Hopes they decided to go against his established characterization for something closer to the first draft they originally had, and from there right into Edel Lite territory. I have not heard anything outrageous about the characterization of the rest of the Deer, so I can only imagine they got out relatively unscathed. Hilda is apparently even more bisexual in this than she was in 3 Houses, which I applaud. I am looking forward to hearing my mutuals talk about Leonie & Jeralt supports, if there are any.

Story-wise, the route touted itself as dealing with Almyra... which it apparently did for all of 8 chapters, before Claude suddenly decides to believe that Edel is right actually and killing Rhea will solve his problems. He then goes on to fan a border conflict between Sreng and Faerghus and ends up murdering Rhea. I think a Chinese reviewer put it nicely when he said it's like Claude spent three years hanging upside down, so all the blood rushed to his head and turned him stupid. Just like Verdant Wind, this route had SO MUCH POTENTIAL... and then they just decided "nah, fuck it, let's copy paste an Eagles route in the second half". It's tragic really. This route had the chance to be amazing for Claude and Almyra and instead just ended up being CF 2.Claude.

Azure Gleam:

The Blue Lions definitely drew the best straws, as far as I can tell. Dimitri is mostly in character, from what I hear (except for one weird line about how he started the war by sheltering Rhea and his super hedged response to Claude trying to get rid of the Church). His PTSD is still there, but never gets him has bad as it did in 3 Houses. Dimidue and Dimilix shippers get all the nice things, because these two in particular are actually there to support him. We get to see Sylvain's dad, who is much more fleshed out as a character, and Miklan gets to die defending a fort from the Empire, so Sylvain gets some juicy extra bits of family lore/characterization. Ingrid is apparently heir to her house. Other than that, I have not heard much about the girls. Oh, also Felix and Annette apparently only have one support conversation (but my OTP ... T_T) and Felix's mom exists, but still has no name.

Story-wise.... Dimitri's uncle was apparently involved in the tragedy, kept Dimitri locked up post Duscur, spied on him and even tried to kill him. I watched the cutscene where Dimitri gets to execute him and I have zero regrets. I have heard this game described as "Dimitri tries to reform his country while Edel and Claude play catch with the idiot ball in his yard". I know he ends up giving Duscur back to its people, arrest a few more people who were involved in the tragedy, and mostly defends his Kingdom from the Empire. Somehow this all ends with Edel being brainwashed by Thales, who gets killed by Dimitri? Ngl, as much as I like Dimitri getting revenge for his father, the last thing Edel needed was to lose even more of her agency. Aside from that though, Azure Gleam players seem to be happy.

Now as for everybody else: the wolves are there... I guess? Yuri apparently flirts with Sylvain, which just underscores his canon bisexuality. Sothis apparently got hit with the OOC hammer as well and is now acticely commandeering Byleth's body sometimes? Also, I hear she talks about the Heroes' Relics in titles (like Rhea's title as a dragon is The Immaculate One), which is super weird, since those are her kids. I mean, she never struck me as the best mother ever, but it still seems OOC. The church characters are... there, I guess. I haven't seen anyone talk about Alois yet. Catherine and Shamir are still gay for each other, which is good for them--they are my favorite sapphic couple in 3 Houses. Seteth and Flayn dye their hair at some point, and very badly so. Cyril gets some nice lines from Rhea during a paralogue which show that she really does care about him. Poor Rhea can't catch a break outside AG and dies in the other two routes, which sucks.

I also read the dev interview where they basically said "it's canon if you want it to be" and "we didn't want to invalidate the experience of 3 Houses" to justify their shitty cliffhanger endings, but ironically pissed off more fans than they made happy, from what I can see. I am curious to see what DLC they'll drop for this (because you just know they will).

Honestly though comics are confusing and it's really hard sometimes to know which ones are good and which ones aren't and how to keep the canon straight, ect ect. I remember when I first got into comics, and even when I was just casually reading them, it was so difficult to navigate it all. I try to make my posts so that anyone can understand the context (even if that means repeating myself lol) and I try to weigh in on the good, bad and the ugly parts (imo) of different comics/series, so I'm really happy to hear that you've been using my posts as a litmus test!

it’s funny F1 was always on in the background in my house growing up too, my dad and my uncles all huge Michael and Ferrari fans maybe we’re all here bc of osmosis or Ferrari is genetic

second of all this is !! such a loaded question!!! like i love it but omg im reallllyy thinking hard here? so when you say old races im not sure how far back you wanna go… but since i’d put myself around the same as u during schumi years im gonna guess we remember around the same. TBH I haven’t re watched very far back in a looong time. like first races I properly properly remember are really more Felipe around 08 ………. yeah..

so One thing about me is im a Sebastian Vettel fan first. Human Being second. so my Favourite races are all sebs ones <3 Malaysia 2015 Belgium 2018 Singapore 2019 Germany 2019 Monaco 2017 Canada 2019 bc won that race. Silverstone 2018 Bahrain 2018 … and those are just the Ferrari ones! singing his lil heart out over the radio crying on the podium waving the scudetto flag around and making out with his trophies like a lil freak… he did it all

I think Charles’ win in Monza in 2019 will forever be a favourite race of mine too. it’s kinda everthing you need to know about Charles as a driver and about modern Ferrari for me… like i have more faves from charles i could go into but that race. that’s The One

but ya know for Carlos this is one of the first times ive properly stopped to think abt my favourite races of his! With Ferrari i think I would say Monaco, Abu Dhabi, Turkey and Russia all from last year were my faves… then Silverstone this year ofc 😙 and Canada and France and maybe even Monaco this year all went a bit below the radar for him but were overall very good. I only really properly started paying attention to his racing abt halfway thru 2019 tbh but he was very impressive in mclaren. My memory is so bad but ofc Monza 2020, it was bittersweet but he did very well and Brazil 2019 is still one of my favourite races of his ever! I believe he also dragged a toro rosso up to p4 in Singapore in 2017 (or maybe 2016 ???) also. He overall does very well on street circuits so those are always fun to rewatch!
