my #9 Track of the Year for 2023 is...

"Laserbeam (Good Times Ahead Remix)" by Ray Volpe!

this was one of the toughest debates of my list this year. which "Laserbeam" remix was the candidate?? only one could make it!! for most of the year, i had eliminate's genre-defying hybrid track in the spot. but it wasn't the only mind-blowing remix on this NINE TRACK EP. there was also the incredibly energetic 4B jersey terror flip; egzod's restructuring of the original into melodic dubstep; the AEON:MODE DnB stomper.

but this one won out above all others. getting to play the version by the artist formerly known as GTA at ohayocon basically a week after it came out set the tone for the entire year for me. then it became an anthem of festival season, and then it made my spotify top 100 -- the only Laserbeam remix to do so.

jungle terror will never die. it seems like we get one huge track from this subgenre every year. this EP earned Ray Volpe an Artist of the Year nomination for me not long after the new year's decorations were cleaned up. this track represents the cream of a very fertile crop of bangers. BRING OUT THE LASERS.

I don’t believe in coincidence but recently my For You page on the Ticky Tok kept popping up with videos saying a bunch of stuff about today.

“The best day in November is the 15…”

Things like that.

I didn’t think much of it cause most of the time those accounts that post those videos are from mediums and people who believe in astrology.

Have you ever had that gut feeling that your day was going to be great? That was me today.

Got some super exciting news from my best friend and physical therapy was fantastic.

I made a lot of strides at the clinic today.

I walked some 800+ feet. A couple rounds wearing 5 pound weights and a theraband tied around my hips as a SI band. Did some side and back leg lifts, 20 minutes of vibration therapy , stationary bike, and balance on a Swiss ball.

And the stem unit that was placed on my leg finally stimulated my dorsiflexors in my feet to pull up my toes.

Nancy said I may be sore tomorrow because today was the first time I did as much and worked as hard as I did.

Things are looking up, in more ways than one.

i'm lowering one of my medications and i already feel the insanity gripping at me

i opened an e-mail from the local library saying they were holding a class on how to use the Silhouette Cameo cutting machine, which I've never heard of it. So I googled it and then one second later I was like "oh I have to buy one”. So I’m currently trying not to buy this thing that I really still have no idea what it is or how or why I would use it.

FRIENDS! #last time i lowered this medication i did it too fast and had a manic episode so i hope this time i just feel nice and not batshit #i'm still sleeping which is good #once i stop sleeping it's over #and drinking #and smoking #i practically turn into an alcoholic when manic #GOOD TIMES AHEAD #EVEN BETTER TIMES IF I HAD A SILHOUETTE CAMEO CUTTING MACHINE #WHEEZES
