So I’ve been listening to your song Good Love nonstop for the past couple of weeks, and I was wondering what inspired the last spoken section about the prophet Sasha? It’s soo good, and gave me chills the first time I heard it. (I’ve been trying to look Sasha up myself so I could read their philosophy, but Google has not helped at all in my search) Thanks!
i'm always a little sad to burst this bubble, but i invented sasha. i wanted to explain a little of my own personal philosophy / creation myth, and putting those words into the mouth of a fictional character was better for the track narratively than speaking in first person
I listened to this song while writing, so maybe you can listen while reading!

[WE'RE JUST GONNA HEAT IT UP WITH A LITTLE STOCK... PORK STOCK. THAT'S LIKE MY GATORADE. AND A LITTLE BIT OF THE SAUCE. THAT'S SOME GOOD LOVE RIGHT THERE. WHAT IS IT SERVED WITH? GRILLED CORN, BLACK BEANS, PAPAYA SALSA AND A SIDE OF CORN TORTILLAS.]
