I can’t imagine that it’s impossible. So far, it’s certainly turning out to be painstaking. Why does a lawyer tell me that “Italian law requires…”? This begs a question: whom of the two of us, you, the attorney – law degree, practicing et al – or, me, the – if we respect my story – high school grad, have read the Italian law under scrutiny: DPR 54? I certainly did. But, the attorney? An attorney? A law firm? Can’t help me? Italy has privacy laws. Italy’s constitution also articulates human rights.

Yet?

What could be another reason or other reasons that get a lawyer and\or a law firm to totally change ideas? My first position was to take DPR 54 straight to court. Discussed last July, this lawyer advised me that this (and my other finding) would be up for examination for the law firm’s yearly pro bono budget in January.

And, now? It’s as though we went from a relative understanding to a complete different point of view. As though to say, oh no, we can’t go against the Italian Government. That’s wrong. You may be right. But, our government will crush and shut us down.
