It's a work in progress but it's getting there!

Laying the foundation for an actual 'community' server with Nemona x Penny as the core theme (but also just general Pokemon sharing) I'm aiming to create a cozy fandom space that's chill, safe, friendly, family-friendly, supportive, and fostering creativity and self-discovery, all while being inviting for people of all ages who care about these characters (regardless of feelings about the games). I guess that sounds ambitious for something that prolly only a handful of people will use, but I dunno, I'm motivated. Nemona reminds me of my teenage self and I want to try being the positive influence I needed at that age but didn't have, I guess?

The manga is a goldmind for emoji, even if they're just too dang small to properly enjoy, generally speaking. I'm sure the anime will be giving us some good reaction images/gifs in due time.

My Weird Mistborn-Related Genie Fantasy

Okay, so I'm currently hyperfixating on Mistborn, and awhile ago I figured if I ever was granted some sort of magical wish, I would wish Allomancy and Feruchemy existed on Earth.

However, being a detail-obsessed worldbuilding wonk, I couldn't just leave it there, so in case I ever get that wish here's the details of how I'd have it work.

The powers work mostly how they do in the books, except that hemalurgy doesn't exist at all. If it did, the world would fucking end. Planet Earth is not ready for Hemalurgy. There's also another exception but I'll get to that later.

However, I would change the way Allomancy and Feruchemy are distributed. In the books, the powers are genetic, and thus they become weaker and less common over time.

However, I would change this so that at any given time, roughly 5% of the population is Metalborn, including all transgender people because I feel like we could use a break.

Of this 5%, all cisgender Metalborn are Mistings or Ferrings, no Mistborn or Full Feruchemists/Keepers. Only about 0.05% of cis people (not cis metalborn, cis people as a whole) are Twinborn, and none of these cisgender twinborn are compounders.

For trans people, I'm these powers are distributed a lot more generously - though only to a somewhat overpowered degree.

Roughly 15% of trans people are just Mistings with access to one Allomantic metal and nothing else, and 15% are just Ferrings with access to one Feruchemical metal and nothing else.

60% of trans people are Twinborn with access to one Allomantic Metal and one Feruchemical metal, and of this 60%, roughly 5% (3% of all trans people) are Compounder Twinborn with access to the same metal both Allomantically and Feruchemically.

Lastly, 5% of all trans people are Mistborn with access to every Allomantic metal but no Feruchemical metals, and 5% of all trans people are Full Feruchemists/Keepers with access to every Feruchemical metal but no Allomantic metals.

Additionally, I would slightly tweak the way feruchemical gold works so it doesn't undo gender-affirming treatments, regardless of how recent they were. For example, if a transfem bloodmaker got facial feminization surgery and tapped a goldmind, their face would heal, but it would heal in a way that doesn't undo the facial feminization. In addition, trans gold compounders would, after being on HRT while burning gold for healing for a long enough time, eventually start naturally producing hormones at their desired levels even when not burning gold instead of producing them at levels natural for cis people of their assigned sex.

I would also personally wish to be a Allomantic Tin/Feruchemical Bronze Twinborn cos, while not the flashiest Allomantic/Feruchemical powers, I think it'd be really cool and useful.
