Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

/ Unfaithful Even Before I Met You /
I always thought cheating was for people bounded by relationships.
I’ve given pieces of my heart to people that God never meant for me. I tried to be the best person, at least for this world’s standards, that someone is ever going to have.
Feelings were uttered, hearts intertwined—until my head reached its most painful blow.
I did not even cheat, what did I do wrong?
—they were all not for me.
Who could be the one for me then?
As I walk this life in singleness, God has been doing in my heart a lot of hard chiseling and carving. There were so many painful nights, days where everything seemed so slow; but there is peace all along.
Sometimes as I sit in a bus, walk in the middle of a rush hour, or drive myself home, I can’t help but ask who could be ‘him’?
As I often found myself in a guessing game, God grabbed my arm from behind—it’s not yet the best time to bother.
I asked when will be the best time.
God still has a lot to work in me. I’ve run away from Him countless times, hit the rock bottom a million times, questioning God “Why, I thought I was good enough?”
Until I realized I was the one cheating on the one He has in store for me all this time—I learned my lesson the hard way.
Unfaithfulness doesn’t only count if someone cheats in a relationship; rather, it does happen when someone tries to give herself away to a person that was never meant for her—she then cheats on God’s best, the one that God sends at the right time.
I was taken aback. I was a cheater all along. I pleaded God for forgiveness.
He cleansed and made me new. I experienced restoration.
Every moment that I would be standing still, thinking about what could happen or who could be, I would remind myself that God holds everything in His hands.
I need not to worry.
Impatience will only lead to unfaithfulness once again, nobody wants to fall for the same trap. On the other hand, patience leads to assurance and blessing.
A singleness that leads to God’s best requires not only a time of waiting, but also an act of faithfulness, until He finally gives His best—the one.

/ It’s the Little “Later’s” that Delay /
When reality calls while delighting in the things that please, ”later” would most probably take part in the vocabulary. But sometimes, it’s the little “later’s” from our mouth that cause delay.
I’m tired of waiting; God takes so long to answer my prayers.
...but are we even taking part of the process?
Blessing is not just the ending of every prayer, as some might interpret it to be—it is a process wherein your character is built to the extent that it is ready to receive what God intends you to have.
To sum it up, blessing is a whole package of a character well-shaped along with the final output—God’s best.
It’s easy to utter prayers that really mean the world to us.
...but are we ready to receive it?
or are we meant to receive it?
The things that we ask are so huge, we might not be able to hold it the way it is supposed to be held.
God, as the potter, always has to make sure that us, the pot, is well-molded to be able to contain a blessing.
On the other circumstance, we may not be the right pot to contain a certain blessing, maybe it was meant for somebody else.
But no matter how long our prayers would make us wait, it’s the One Who fully knows what’s ahead that knows exactly when is the perfect time we can receive our blessing.
Sometimes it would be a yes; there would be times it would be a painful no.
But when God commands us to wait, be sure your pot is empty, not having things or people that are just causing distraction or disobedience, and just wait. Enough with the “later’s”.
Let go and wait.

After a powerful service on Sunday, this is one of the scriptures that stuck with me. My Spiritual Father asked why do we worry when God looks after the birds, trees and plants? This got me thinking... It’s so true God provides all things for them without the help of man. So what is it that He cannot do in our lives, especially when we are His greatest creation?
In all things trust God!

Heartbroken. Rejection. Fear. Depression. Anxiety. Insecurities. Doubts. Abuse.
We have all been broken by people or circumstances we couldn’t handle ourselves. But our scars, cracks don’t take the beauty we are.
God is still calling you Beautiful. And the brokenness ? He will use it to make you even more beautiful.
Keep growing in your faith. Have a deep and unique relationship with Jesus. And wait patiently.
You might feel like it’s taking forever but like a tree, believe your leaves will appear very soon.
Broken but still beautiful.
