Detachment
Tumblr media
Detachment is the feeling that you have of not being personally involved in something or of having no emotional interest in it. I don’t really like this definition of detachment, but its the one which explains it the best. Though this post is basically about how to not let your emotions affect every aspect of your life. And it can improve life/mindset by soo muchh. Heres some little tips for detaching !!
Don’t involve yourself, start observing. You do not have to get involved with everything on the internet, whether it's a debate, discussion, latest trends, political opinions or arguments on social media. Learn how to observe situations, and know when to turn your phone off if something is affecting your emotions negatively.
Actually start thinking before you speak. It’s a common phrase yet no one truly does it. But, thinking before you say anything risky, whether it's a joke or your professing your love to someone, really think about it. Long term or short term thinking, its up to you. Thinking before you speak will literally help you stop acting impulsively on your emotions and avoid any future conflicts.
Start embracing change. I know it is hard, but change is unpredictable so we need to start to accept it. It allows yourself to be more open minded to different opportunities which is so important for personal growth + how i did it was by observing my environment much more thoroughly and how i’ll fit in it( i usually journal about this ) and speaking with people/reading about people who’ve been in the same situations i’m in.
Not just being aware, but understanding that not everyone is going to be kind to you and not everything in life is going to be good or fair. A lot of people are aware of this, but when it actually occurs, they’re upset. Is it reasonable to be upset? Yes. Is it reasonable to be entitled to that everyone should treat you good and everything in life is going to be easy? No. In fact if this is the case, you’re doing something wrong. Being your true authentic self is going to bring haters and challengers, do not let them live in your mind.
Btw, negative emotions are totally normal and i support them. Be sad, angry, furious, insecure, whatever. Though, learn how to process these emotions in your mind, and grow from them, instead of dwelling and letting it affect other aspects of your life.

The life that you want starts with the small things
It's not enough to simply wish for a good life, a happy family, a job you're proud of and true friendships... your daily actions reveal what's a priority for you.
The habits you do mindless, on autopilot, they only satisfy the lowest desires - which you give in to because they seem natural.
But it is precisely this search, whether for affection, validation, pleasure or recognition, that makes you little by little move away from everything that is elevated
It's very easy to have that SENSE OF PLEASURE And REWARD with these things.
But the valuable things... the ones you really want, the ones that require you to work hard to get them.
That's why you need to focus on what truly matters and abandon habits that do not serve your greater purpose.
The more you strive towards your dreams, the easier it will be to leave behind what doesn't contribute to them.
Make your daily life completely directed towards what you really want.
Replace those silly habits with small actions, small efforts, that will get you where you really want to go.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Building the life you REALLY want requires a lot of dedication on your part…
To do this, you need to control your instinct to indulge in momentary pleasures.
The high things in life take time to come to fruition, but I assure you that it is worth it and that you will NEVER - never, ever - regret choosing to prioritize what is good for you.
Abandon habits that don't take you forward and dedicate yourself to building the future you've always wanted - even if you're not fully aware of it now.
In the end, you will look back and see that it was worth it.

3 am skincare routine
I’ve been dancing around my room to my awesome and broad music taste for hours.
Now I need to move to the bathroom where I am going to oil cleanse my face for ten minutes
Then I’m gonna use my babygirl foam cleanser
When my face has air dried I will use Finacea 15% azelaic acid acne cream🧴
Then lastly I’ll use my hyaluronic acid or not depends on if I want to have a dry or moisturized face to bed lmao

How to actually stick to your habits ?
Hello, my loves. This post will be, as you've read it in the title, about how to stay committed to your habits. So without further ado, let's start.
1. Don't start off too strong.
You've got to know that your brain always wants your safety and your comfort. Your old habits provided you with both of these, even if they were unhealthy, and even if the pleasure was very short and temporary. Therefore, it is very normal that your brain will keep dwelling in your old habits and routines. So never start off too strong, otherwise it'll be very hard for you to stay committed. What I recommend doing, is to identify 8 habits that will highly benefit you, and get you closer to your goals. Instead of adding those 8 habits to your day all at once since day one, you're going to add 2 habits a week. Focus on progress, rather than perfection. At the end of your first month, you'll find yourself with 8 new habits. Give yourself the time to get used to each habit, so about a week or more (depending on how hard the habit is).
And before you come to me, I know that the average duration to implement a habit in your life is 21 days, but the goal here is not to be used to it at a 100%, the goal is to lessen the unfamiliarity, so that the brain can stop dwelling in the old habits.
2. Focus on the end-goal.
Sometimes, we tend to focus on how hard the task/habit is, rather than the end-goal that will result from the consistency of the habit. Therefore, try to remind yourself of the end-goal. My experience with this has been IMMACULATE. To focus on the end-goal, I make Pinterest boards. Personally, studying and reviewing for exams is something that I absolutely dread, so in order to get myself to enjoy it or make it more bearable, i made a Pinterest board with the lifestyle i wanna have in my early 20s. So it contains pics of my dream uni, the country i wanna be living in, the life i wanna be leading. Whenever i feel too lazy or demotivated to study or review stuff, i go back to my Pinterest board to remind myself of my end-goal. And when I tell you that each time i do this, i get the best grade of my class, and when i really put my mind into it, i get the best grade of my whole promotion.
3. Realize how simple your task is with this technique.
Many times, we don't see the habit for what it is, but rather for some kind of absolutely dreadful and unbearable task that's impossible to achieve. So what I do to simplify it, is that i write down in my notes what my most productive day would look like, and compared to the tasks that I set to myself, i start to view that as some really simple stuff. To give you an idea of how it works, I'll do what i do best : give an example.
I wanna learn Spanish, last year i was very consistent with it, but the last few months, I really procrastinated and got lazier, like, even spending my daily 15 minutes of Duolingo seemed like a torture, so i decided to use this technique. I wrote down what my ideal spanish learning session was, and it kind of looked like this :
45 minutes of Duolingo
Learning 3 new pages of vocabulary from my notebook
Using each newly learned word in a sentence
Do a conjugation lesson/ learn the conjugation of an irregular verb
Listen to a short story in Spanish, and write down new and unfamiliar vocabulary
Next to this routine, 15 minutes on Duolingo looked very simple and easy, even too little, and now it is wayy easier for me to stick to habits.
4. Always have an alternative.
You got me there, we all have our bad days, low-energy days, and it is very hard, if not impossible, to get anything done on these days. That's why you should give each of your habits an alternative. Let's say you wanted to workout an hour a day, but you came back home absolutely exhausted. Instead of the intense 1 hour workout, have a less intense and easier alternative for it, or maybe a shorter one, or you could go for a walk instead, after all, the end goal is to move your body, you do you, you know what works best for you.
That was all for today's post, hope it helped. Bye, my loves 💗

A Guide on Self-Development for Women
Hello, ladies! Self-development is a great way to build confidence and grow in life. I've put together a quick comprehensive guide to help women achieve their goals and become the best versions of themselves. Here are some steps to help you get started:
Set meaningful goals: Setting clear and achievable goals is an important first step in self-development. Take some time to identify what your goals are and create a plan to reach them. Having goals keeps you motivated and focused.
Develop a positive mindset: A positive attitude and outlook can help you stay focused on your goals and make progress. Start each day with an affirmation and focus on the good things in life. Celebrate the small wins just as much as you celebrate the big wins. A win is a win. Act accordingly.
Take time for self-care: Taking care of yourself is essential for physical and mental well-being. Practice self-care daily. Make sure to take time each day to do something that you enjoy and that relaxes you. Remember in every situation and setting you are your MAIN priority.
Stay organized: Being organized and having a plan for everything can help you stay productive and on top of things. Create a routine and stick to it to maximize your productivity. Use a planner or to-do list to keep track of your schedule. Organize by day, week, and month. This allows you to see the bigger picture while planning the specifics.
Develop your skills: Developing your skills and learning new things will help you stay ahead of the game and open up new opportunities. Look for classes and courses that interest you and make an effort to learn something new each day. Look at this as an investment. New skills, new money. Different skills, different bags.
Work on relationships: Building and maintaining healthy relationships is key to personal growth. Make an effort to stay in touch with family and friends, and be sure to nurture your most important relationships. On the other hand, do not feel forced to maintain toxic or unhealthy relationships. Relationships can be one of the greatest tools when it comes to networking. Both marketing and advertising can be impacted.
I honestly hope that this guide helps you on your journey to self-development and achieving your goals. This post's sole purpose was to inform the women in this community. Best of luck to all of you lovely ladies!

GROWING OUT + STYLING YOUR LASHES
Minimise the use of mascara + if you do use it anyway, ensure that most of the residue is washed off with micellar water before you go to sleep
Avoid lash adhesives, falsies, eyelash curlers etc for the time being.
Using a clean spoolie, brush through your lashes everyday, this helps stimulate them which promotes growth.
Apply oil to your lashes daily- coconut, castor, olive etc etc. use a cotton swab for a clean application.
Consider taking biotin, collagen, or vitamin E as supplements for lash growth (consult with your doctor first!)
Avoid touching/rubbing your eyes, as this can pull out some of your lashes.
Use tweezers carefully to style your lashes each morning
To naturally curl your lashes, I just use a small spoolie and warm Vaseline, and leave it for around 1-2 minutes.
Apply some Vaseline there and there because it helps with locking in moisture but don’t apply anything to the roots as it will block the hair follicles for growth
GROWING OUT + STYLING YOUR EYEBROWS
Same things here- wash your face and ensure no make up residue is in your eyebrows + apply oils daily.
Avoid plucking your eyebrows for 12~ weeks. This gives them time to properly grow and actually highlight stray hairs.
Try to wear sunglasses that cover your eyebrows, as excessive UV exposure to your eyebrows can harm the proteins there, which cause them to be brittle and thinner.
Once again apply small amounts of Vaseline but the former still applies.
Exfoliate your eyebrows around 3x a week as it stimulates the follicles which promotes growth
Use eyebrow gel for them to stay put throughout the day, but a good quality one as some can leave white residue.
Fill them in if they’re sparse, but still be diligent. Overfilled eyebrows<<<
Know if an arch, soft arch, or straight eyebrows suit you the best, dear peachie has a good video on this.
