8/5/2023 Highstakes Event for the Glitch PKMN IRL timeline:

Team Enigma/Silph raid, happening once everyone at the core of the plot is ready to go. This will use the "#team enigma raid" tag and will have a planning Discord (made soon) as the characters involved will have to collaborate. 8/6/2023 Ultrastakes(?) (There's only one death planned) Event for the Glitch PKMN IRL timeline:

Team Enigma does something drastic, and several regions feel the effects all day. (Effects: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Glitch City. Can also affect Paldea and Kalos if there's interest in that, but the first four are the main ones hit) (Characters in Glitch City must join a discord to participate in the event due to plot reasons, everyone else can participate from Rotomblr without Discord)

Remember that you do not have to participate if you don't want glitches in your setting! I encourage people participating in event 2 to use "#glitch pkmn irl" instead of "#pkmn irl" to avoid flooding the main tag. This event will also be tagged "#Team Enigma Finale" and "#glitchpocalypse <region>".

Also a note, this will be resolved by a preplanned event, don't instantly defeat the villain, and this is not a bad end timeline!

So, we don’t really know what happens in the minds of the corrupted, right? Well. Here’s my theory - remember Glitch City in that one episode of Steven Universe?

This stuff?

What if that’s sort of like what the darkness is showing each of its thrall?

A creepy, dead-feeling, AI-generated version of each of their respective worlds, slowly falling apart in this way, over and over and over? Perhaps as a way to slowly desensitize them into good little mindless pawns who won’t care if these things happen - or as a way of saying “this destruction is a good thing, it’s what we want to happen, it’s for the greater good”? (Maybe both?)

yo, why the fuck does no one talk about pokemon gen 2 glitches? like gen 1 is a broken mess, but the extreme bugs in gen 2 (crystal specifically) are WAY more interesting there’s the famous ghost one, but the MULTIPLE glitch cities in the gen 2 games hold a fuck ton of facinating secrets outside of that there’s also a bug that gives guaranteed shinys, and another that lets you meaningfully level up to level 255 why could i only find like 3 videos total talking about this stuff???

Don't know if anyone caught the ref in chapter 7, but when Arceus drags Damos through various layers of reality, there's a layer that is broken and glitchy, with various pieces of a world floating around.

This is a direct ref to the very real and very creepy Glitch City and its infamous ghost girl, Cara. She wanders the broken map in Pokemon Crystal until she spots you and approaches you to battle while uttering a bizarre jumble of words.

Creepier still, she often says Mom, as if she's calling out to her for help.

Just an update. I apologize for being a bit touch and go of late. There has been A LOT to do at the lab. Being out of the lab for a month didn't do much for my standing at Devon, and neither has the drag in productivity due to my injury.

So I've been dotting my Is and crossing my Ts so to speak. But I've also been attempting to help with a situation that's arisen in Glitch City as well.

From what I can gather, mostly from @professorzzazz 's input, there have been complications with one of the ZZaZZ victims from the incident. This... was likely unavoidable. There have very rarely been so many ZZaZZ victims created in such a short amount of time, and complications are almost certain to arise.

This victim, however, appears to have fused not only with the ambient data around them, but also with data from their pokemon as well. As a result, treatment for this victim has been going very poorly. Though they have stabilized, and don't seem to be in danger of losing their form altogether, they've been rejecting all forms of rehabilitation. Most attempts to get close are met with outward hostility, and sometimes even violence.

It's really unclear how to proceed with this. All I can really do from here is offer my support, but I'm open to suggestions on how to handle something like this.
