Subway Boss Ingo/Warden Ingo

Name: Ingo

Species: Human

Appearance: A very tall and skinny man with pale skin and silver hair. For some reason, he always frowns - his version of a smile is a frown with the corners turned up - but his silver eyes are very expressive. He has oddly shaped sideburns. His eyes glow slightly. Over a dress shirt with a blue tie, he wears a long, black coat with brown stripes in it. A black conductor’s hat sits atop his head. White gloves cover his hands. 

Hisui appearance: His stature is more hunched. He still wears his coat and hat, but they are tattered now. Instead of a white shirt and tie, he wears a Pearl Clan uniform under his coat. He has grown a goatee, and under his hat, his hairline has receded a bit. He no longer wears gloves. 

Personality: Despite always frowning, Ingo makes up for it with an expressive voice. He speaks in an exceeding polite manner, but at the same time is very friendly, with a booming voice that is as enthusiastic as it is polite. He tends to be the more mature of the two brothers, but he isn’t above the occasional shenanigans. He is easily embarrassed or flustered. His speech is littered with train-related vocabulary. 

Background: Ingo and his twin brother Emmet run the Gear Station is Nimbasa City, which in turn is found in the Unova region. The Gear Station is a giant train station that - while it does conduct passengers from one part of Unova to another - also acts as a Pokémon battle arena. He and Emmet would daily battle Pokémon trainers who came to the Gear Station with the express purpose of doing so. 

One day, while going about his business, Ingo was suddenly transported through space and time, landing in the far past and the region of Hisui. He has no memories of his life before Hisui, past a few vague recollections of a man who looks like him (Emmet), and a precious partner that wielded flames with mastery (Ingo’s Chandelure). While there, he is taken in by the Pearl Clan and becomes the warden for a Pokémon called Sneasler. There he remains until someone else from the future falls into Hisui...

Other: 

- The most beloved member of his Pokémon team is his Chandelure. She was his starter pokemon back when she was a Litwick, and he loves her dearly. 

- While in Hisui, his “starter” (aka, the first Pokemon he caught there) is his Glisgor. It is also his favorite, although he keeps that to himself to avoid hurting the other Pokémon’s feelings.  

- His glowing eyes are a side effect of spending a lot of time around ghost-type Pokémon.

Hi hi hi!! I redesigned my main boys, the old designs were umh very filled with my own trauma and started to make me uncomfortable as it twisted the wrong way, I have a few vent art comics that explain it better and I'll probably post them soon enough.
