first guy to ever evolve gligar to gliscor must've been scared shitless because imagine giving your funny scorpion bat a fang that you found and night approaches and just out of Goddamn Nowhere it evolves, gaining 3 inches in height in the process and having the tail that could shatter your body. you still love that thing but god how do you even explain this to everyone back home

I mean to be fair Gligar to Gliscor is probably one of the least alarming evolutions given that it still looks similar and is only marginally stronger. imagine the guy who found out that Magikarp evolves into Gyarados

#gliscor #i think this is one instance where i'll allow the continuity between forms to be broken by the color scheme if only because gligar has a #very unique Form Factor that carries over to this guy really well. obviously it's a retrofit evo and you can tell just 'cause of the sorta #style differences but i still think this one works. it really does just look like they took gligar into a new generation of pokémon #though the eyes are. certainly something

i am also very much an amateur!! i only started learning how to draw again in december after pretty much not touching a tablet for years. you'll probably see stuff that looks wonky or rough because of that but i am trying to tell myself that it is ok. i am cringe but free as they say :)

other than loz though i do unfortunately play and have over 3500 hours in ffxiv. i'm also posting a lot of dunmeshi right now... you might see baldies gate or whatever games i'm playing at the time (my chatter tag is personal.txt). i also like pokemon and i love biology and animals :) i have a cat named mittens

Ingo training Gligar by throwing sticks for it to catch (reflexes and speed and whatnot)

Eventually Gligar gets so good at fetch that when it evolves into Gliscor it ends up bringing back a whole berry tree to impress its beloved trainer :) it just wants to show its human how strong it has become :) and repay Ingo with all these berries so this Poor (not-so) Old Man With Back Problems doesn't have to worry about gathering for a few days :) aren't I a good little killer bat-scorpion? Please give me head-pats :) I love you :)
